Not all personal trainers are created equal, but Kiara at Train With Kiara is one of a kind. She is SO knowledgeable in training people of all ages, and has a special passion for those with injuries. As a physical therapist, I am very particular in who I refer my clients to, especially if they are recovering from injuries. Kiara's method is, wholistic, thoughtful and very detailed, and compliments what is done in physical therapy. She looks at the WHOLE person and whole picture. I HIGHLY recommend working with Kiara.

I’ve been training with Kiara for almost a month now and from day 1 I knew she was going to change my outlook on “working out” for the better. I eagerly sought her out after getting referred by my chiropractor after dealing with my second herniated disc. I was afraid and disappointed in myself after my injury postpartum, but I understood how important it was to rebuild my core so that I could hold my big baby! I knew it was going to take someone special to help me gently but continuously strengthen my core without further injuring or irritating my disc. Kiara has been THEE best person for that.
I have worked with a few other personal trainers but none have come close to the holistic approach Kiara has to whole body wellness from feet up-. After each session at her beautiful and absolutely immaculate studio, I always feel good, energized, and accomplished- not drained, in pain, or vomiting like I’ve felt with other trainers. I have been able to bring my baby to each session, which all moms know is a god send!! Kiara has an amazing way of explaining posture and form that’s easy to grasp, helps you maximize your work out, and really focus on the target area. All of the equipment she has in her studio are really fun to use and not intimidating like it can be at the gym. Her work outs are addicting because of how good you feel after and how refreshing her approach is.
I have already recommended her to so many of my friends- especially the moms. I am truly grateful for being able to work with her. It makes sense why she has clients who have been with her for years, in person & virtually as well.

I’ve been working with Kiara for a while now, and she’s honestly the best trainer I’ve ever had. She focuses on functional strength training, but what really sets her apart is how in tune she is with how I’m feeling each day. Some days I walk in ready to lift heavy, other days I’m running on fumes—and she always adjusts without making me feel like I’m falling behind.
She’s super motivating in a supportive way. I never feel pushed too hard, but I always leave feeling like I accomplished something.
One thing I really appreciate is how much attention she gives to recovery. She mixes in things like cupping, massage, stretching, and rapid release therapy when I need it. And if I show up totally drained, she turns the session into what she calls a “work-in,” which is more restorative but still really intentional. It’s been such a game-changer for staying consistent without burning out.
Also, her gym is beautiful—bright, clean, well-equipped, and just a great place to be. It makes a huge difference when you actually enjoy the space you’re working out in.

I started to feel aches and pains and thought to myself this can't be the normal part of aging. (I'm in my 40s) I started seeing Kiara on a weekly basis and after about 6 sessions I felt better - stronger, better posture, and no more hip pain. Kiara is not your average trainer, her expertise and experience really shows in the way she cares for your every need. Some days I come into the studio overly stressed and exhausted, she quickly transitions to a “work-IN” session with all sorts of magical options to soothe my nervous system, stretch my body or release my tension. I love that she ends each session with a meditation and sound bath. After having my son, she helped me ease back into exercise that included balancing my body. Exceptional trainer! I found Kiara in my 70’s after decades of training with various different trainers. Her style of training was like none I had ever experienced. For the last 4 years I have increased bone density year by year, marveling all my doctors. My mobility and balance is better now than when I was in my 50’s! I credit Kiara to my sense of reverse aging. My grandchildren are so impressed that I can hold a plank for 4 minutes and am completely self sufficient. First, thank you! You're truly the most fantastic, patient trainer and coach. Your willingness to work with a mom and her 24-year-old son (and now Dad and teen daughter), especially under unique circumstances like the mom's age and her son's autism, sets you apart. This isn't a commitment most trainers would take on, and to do so during a pandemic with only online sessions is a testament to your dedication and passion for what you do!
Over the past three years, you have patiently guided us, teaching us numerous exercises and helping us get comfortable with our in-home equipment. My son loves the variety in the routines. He recognizes the exercises, and while those requiring extra balance can be challenging due to his mild cerebral palsy, he perseveres. When he masters an exercise, he is rightfully proud of his efforts.
Before COVID, my son's exercise classes were inconsistent, so we added a friend-walking program after school to keep him active and maintain his weight. However, with the pandemic, that went away, and he quickly gained weight. What I love most is that after years of working with you, he has not only lost 20 pounds but also gained muscle! He's always He's saying, "I'm getting strong," and it's absolutely true.
You've helped us become more patient, push through challenging exercises, and stay consistent. Beyond helping us get healthier, your training has shown us what consistent, small efforts can achieve.
His dad and I are incredibly grateful for the healthy lifestyle you've developed, giving him another area to feel proud of his hard work.

When I started working with Kiara, I needed to rehabilitate my ankle and knee strength. Initially, even basic exercises like step-ups beyond a few inches and squats were daunting. Kiara designed incredibly challenging non-weight bearing workouts tailored to my needs. I was astonished by how effective they were! These exercises significantly strengthened my thighs, glutes, and core, allowing me to support my ankle and knee properly.
Fast forward a couple of years, and I can hardly remember the discomfort I once felt. Now, I perform weighted squats with ease and experience no pain at all.

I never knew personal training would be SO much more than a workout! Truly life changing! Kiara’s knowledge spreads information into every aspect of my life. I found my way to her following acute knee/foot injuries and a nagging back injury that were persisting despite months of physical therapy. I have been training with Kiara for 2 years now and it has been amazing. I am an avid runner and had issues with plantar facilities in my heel when I started training with Kiara, but through her stretching and coaching, I am now pain free. Kiara, I have wanted to write this review for a while.
First, let's start with Thank you! You're seriously the most fantastic patient trainer and coach. There are (VERY) few trainers working out with a mom and her 20-year-old son. Add to that, Mom is old (and all that implies), and her son has mild autism. Not a combo many trainers would take on, but to take us on in a pandemic, no less, with only online courses, well, that is an award-winning commitment to your craft!
Over the past two + years, you have patiently brought us along, teaching us many exercises and helping us get used to our in-home equipment. My son loves the variance of routines. He knows the activities, and given his mild CP, the exercises requiring additional balance can be challenging. But he perseveres, and when he gets it, he is rightfully proud of his efforts.
Before COVID, we found that his special ed exercise classes were inconsistent, so we added a friend-walking program after school. This extra exercise helped keep the weight off. However, with Covid, that went away, and he quickly packed on excess weight. I love that after six months with you as his trainer, my son has trimmed down and gained muscle and, as a bonus, dropped 20 LBS!!! Now, two (+) years later, we are not only staying the course, but mom has trimmed down and OLD Dad joined in and now is a devoted team member. Our younger daughter joined in the summer months and then joined a water polo team after gaining strength with you!
You are indeed our family coach!
Our son loves to say, "I'm so healthy and getting strong with Kiara," and he is.
You have helped all of us be more patient, push through the challenging exercises, and work on our consistency. In addition to helping us be healthier, your small class has been an example of what consistent, small efforts can do!

I have had chronic neck, shoulder and lower back pain for over two decades as a result of a herniated disc fron collegiate athletics and subsequently getting hit by a car in my late 20s as a pedestrian in a cross walk. Kiara is the first professional who has been able to make a meaningful difference in my pain and mobility . My base pain level used to be a 7-8, it is now less than half that after working with Kiara for 18 months and sometimes as low as a 1-2. She is a level above any personal trainer I ever have worked with and cannot recommend her more highly.

I have been lucky enough to have begun my physical training with Kiara about 2.5 years ago, doing both virtual and studio sessions. Kiara is an amazing trainer and instrumental in having my body regain strength that had slowly decreased through undergoing a few injuries. My husband and I both train with Kiara and it has made such a huge impact on our health. We are both around 80 years old and able to do so much more than a lot of our peers. I have been training with her for over a year and originally came to her wanting to loose weight but once I was here she helped me not only with that but with rehabbing an old knee injury. Kiara is exceptional. I discovered her five months ago via her outstanding online reviews, and have since been training with her weekly. I came to her with goals of strengthening my sleepy glutes and core, diversifying my workouts, and improving overall strength. She has delivered, and then some.
She does a comprehensive new client assessment before training begins to deeply understand your body and fitness level. Her wealth of knowledge and experience results in highly tailored programming - your sessions are completely different than her next client's. She pushes me while always looking out for correct form. Her sessions are challenging, well-balanced, and interesting - always different than the last. She has a bright, spacious setup that was recently remodeled and has every piece of equipment you could need. So far, I have felt a big improvement in my posture, muscle engagement, and overall strength. I've also gained confidence with heavy lifting form and learned so many new exercises to do at home.
Kiara recently repeated my initial assessment, which confirmed measurable improvements across the board in mobility, strength, and most excitingly, a correction of my hip misalignment. Kiara is the best! As a competitive equestrian, I struggled with low back pain and a weak core. During our first session she was able to identify my weakest muscles and where my body was compensating. She developed a thorough plan for me to strengthen my core and address my posture issues. Training with Kiara has been the best decision I've made during the pandemic! I was severely injured last year, so I was out of shape and weak. I started training with Kiara this summer in the hopes that I can get back to normal life i.e. trail running and tennis. I could see the results just 2 months into training. I was stronger, starting to get leaner, was able to run without pain. It's been 6+ months now, and I'm very happy with the progress.
The best part of my experience has been the scheduling flexibility, the best in-class equipment, and Lady (Kiara's dog) :-) Kiara's studio is spotless and she sanitizes everything thoroughly after every session. The at-home workouts with follow along videos are incredible. Every session with Kiara is different and challenging. If I can't come in for an in-person session, Kiara easily switches over to a virtual session, and somehow manages to make the virtual even more challenging than an in-person session lol. Kiara is the best trainer, every workout is so diverse! I’m never bored, and I always leave feeling accomplished. Her studio is a converted garage with all the latest fitness equipment so I feel super safe during COVID since there’s so much airflow from the outdoors. Six weeks ago I was at a breaking point. I wanted to get in better shape, and yet I didn’t— I didn’t have the energy or motivation to see even the simplest plans through. It was hard to recognize myself.
I’d workout and my knee would hurt, or then my back or my shoulder. My body felt like it was falling apart.
The only whisper of wisdom I had was, find someone to help you. So I googled around and miraculously stumbled upon Kiara. I read her reviews, then her website, and I knew she was what I needed.
5 minutes after submitting my inquiry she called. She had a random break in her day and was on top of it. She said, all I have are slots people cancel, and I was like, I’ll take it. Two days later I was in for my first fitness assessment.
TODAY… 6 weeks later we did another assessment to see how I’ve progressed. I had noticed the scale increasing at home, hadn’t noticed a huge change in my clothes, but I had noticed a lot less knee and shoulder pain and a deep belief I could run a race again for the first time in ten years!
We were both shocked by the stats today and I wanted to share as inspiration for anyone out there feeling the same as me— maybe you’re just 6 weeks behind my journey!
In six weeks I doubled my plank time, passed my core stability test with flying colors (when I FAILED it the first time), better aligned my hips, lost some inches here but gained them in all the right places.
I’m officially hitting “comebacker” status. I look forward to my workout time. I feel way more invested in spending the time and effort to fuel my body — I even cut out coffee to improve my sleep and nervous system health.
Know what motivates you. And if that’s someone staring you down not budging on the goals you’ve set for yourself and the reps required to get there, even when you’re on the verge of tears in frustration— go find them!

I was looking to improve my strength and found Kiara. This was the best decision as I had no idea how off I was. I had pelvic tilt that was impeding my ability to move and sapping my performance on my bike. After a few sessions I was standing taller and now after six months my measurements are outstanding.
That recaps the physical, but the emotional side is just as good. Kiara pushes me on the right days and is always focused on my form. Her energy lifts me up. Kiara is a bright light starting the new week on Monday mornings. Her cheerful disposition and positive reinforcement come through every time and with every exercise. She observes closely and makes corrections to form as needed for safety and effectiveness. She provides training in home routines with videos of the client to watch as needed, doing one of several routines midweek between workouts with her. I used to do crossfit but after the pandemic hit I was searching for a place that would challenge me and keep me accountable. I found Kiara on Yelp and have been training with her since March. Kiara’s private studio is super clean and sanitized. The roll up door provides fresh air and ventilation. She is so creative in her programming, I’ll be doing heavy deadlifts one minute and yoga flows the next! It’s my favorite!!! I have been working out with Kiara for over two years, and the change in my body has been remarkable. She helped identify some chronic imbalances in my gait, hip girdle, and other areas that have caused pain and have been impacting my general athletic performance for years! We were able to correct those, as well as appropriately address my core strength, which had been severely impacted by two pregnancies in quick succession and years of not-quite-right exercise. Kiara is amazing! I started training with her right after the birth of my second baby. I was determined to get back into shape and lose the baby weight. I also was aware that I would need to take it slow because of the trauma of delivery and back pain from my pregnancy. Over the course of this past year Kiara has helped me meet my goals. I have lost the baby weight and although we started out slow with the training - now I am stronger than ever and able to do so many strength training exercises. I have also learned so many new exercises that I do on my own when we do not meet. She even makes me do pull ups, which I hate!
