We love Scott and the Tumbles team! Both of my kids built confidence and athleticism at this play gym. They strike the perfect balance of challenging your kid but recognizing where they are in their journey. My little one was extremely shy and from 30+ years of teaching kids Scott knows how to give them the opportunity to talk in front of the group, try out a new skill that is outside their comfort zone, or let them sit back and watch. He's talented at coaching the parents to be patient as well ("they all get there" he shared with me). Can't recommend highly enough!

Scott is the absolute best. He is incredibly enthusiastic and all kids and parents absolutely love him. He will boost your child’s confidence while tiring them out. Take your kid to Tumbles. It is an excellent experience. You will not find anyone as good as Scott anywhere else.

Amazing spot for all kinds of kid fun. Creative, energetic owner and staff run a camp that makes for easy dropoffs and a tired, joyful, satisfied kid at pickup. Highly recommended.

Is an incredible teacher and is an incredibly active and experienced teacher. He has coached his own kids to be successful athletes, and he has coached other parents his kids for decades, with several going on to be Olympic athletes. The environment in his classes is positive, fun, and thoughtful. He gives the parents and kids confidence in development of proprioception, agility, and versatile athletic abilities. Hi dare say that he teaches more than just fitness, and he serves as an outstanding role model during a very formative time in our children’s lives.

Been coming here for over a year for play sessions and just had the best 2 year birthday party imaginable. Scott and Victoria were so amazing! The music, help setting up, changing the toys / activities around to keep things fresh and the kids engaged! Even having a cake cutter (thank goodness!) when I forgot to bring one! All the kids were sweaty and smiling from playing and having an absolute blast!! Couldn’t recommend Tumbles more, they made our sons bday so special, so fun & so easy!!! Love!

Tumbles is AWESOME! The owner Scott and his son Chase are the reason - they are so amazing! They keep the kids engaged and it is clear that they truly love what they do! I have been taking my young kids here for several years and have hired Tumbles for birthday parties on location and in a park. The parties are a huge hit - every time! I have taken kids to Gymboree and to Y Gymnastics in the past, but Tumbles is so much better. They have a good mix of activities, from 'adventure' free time to more structured exercises to music and learning activities. It is the one place where the kids ALWAYS want to go - and me too! I recommend Tumbles for everyone!

They offer a lot of fun classes for different ages. I have two boys ages five and three and they love it. Scott and Chase make the kids feel special and they know them all by name! They are also great at keeping things super fun as the kids learn new skills. Definitely recommend.

The gym begins and ends with Scott. Period. He's the owner / operator and he's there nearly 24/7. He cares. It's that simple.
We've paid more and we've paid less for classes elsewhere, but we always come back. Why? Scott. Other instructors can have all the credentials they want, but if they don't care about kids, understand kids, or are used to working with, pushing, and supporting kids...they're not going to succeed like Scott does.
My oldest is 3 1/2 and has been going to JW Tumbles for over 2 years. I truly believe the class has helped her in a lot more ways than just burning off energy. She gets to explore and test her physical limits. Pushing herself to climb higher and take risks always. And, with the different age groups, she can keep taking class as she advances.
My youngest is 1 1/2 and she loves Scott too. How do I know? I see her imitate "Mister Scott" all the time at home. I know the stretch routines and some of the bits that he uses to entertain the toddlers and she knows them. Ask her to Stretch and she immediately starts to stretch. Than she says "twist" and starts the next exercise in the class warm up routine. She also constantly does a fake sneeze to get things to fall of her head, because that's what "Mister Scott" does and it always makes her giggle.
Scott works with kids. Love kids. And has 4 of his own. You really can't go wrong trusting his know how and love for children.
His new location is a little less convenient at first, but once you know where it is, you'll appreciate the much better parking situation. The old strip mall location was easy to find, but that parking lot had tiny spaces and was always packed.
This location is behind the Boys & Girls' Club and above their Gym. You have to walk a little bit to it, but I much prefer it to the old location. Plus, after class, there's a nice, recently rebuilt, playground across from the parking lot. Tumbles, playground, picnic lunch, and then a drive home with two exhausted girls that fall asleep so easily. What's not to love?
