I honestly don’t understand why this Pilates studio doesn’t have a full 5 out of 5 rating, it absolutely deserves it. This place is incredible and the instructors are top-notch. Every single class is challenging in the best way, and I always leave feeling stronger, more energized, and just overall amazing.

If I had to give one suggestion, it would be to add more mirrors so we can better see and adjust our form during class. Having mirrors all around would take the experience to the next level.

Aside from that, this studio is truly 5 out of 5 — highly recommend it to anyone looking for a consistently great Pilates workout.

I took the Reformer Full Body Burn class with Annabel...This was such a great workout, definitely challenging, but the instructor was amazing and made sure to check in to see if I needed any modifications or weight changes so I was comfortable. Her mind/body cues were super helpful, and she was happy to explain any moves I didn't fully understand. Overall, such a great class and instructor! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to take a class that pushes them!

I love tunnel! Their mat classes are truly the hardest classes I’ve taken and their reformer classes are great! The music is always on point and the instructors are all so welcoming and supportive!

Tunnel is my favorite! It’s raw and real. I’ve been struggling to find a Pilates studio that is more of a challenging workout without feeling too boot campy. All of the instructors are so kind but serve such a hard class. They always keep me on my toes with new creative flows and their music is always on point. If you haven’t tried tunnel you must!!!

As an avid gym-goer, I expected Pilates to be a breeze. I was wrong ( in a good way! ). I took Tori’s class and was humbled after the first two exercises, and the fact that she could talk the whole time while I was shaking trying to keep up. The class was great, the equipment is nice and easy to use, and it was a great way to change up the way I exercise! Cannot recommend enough!

LOVE this studio! I've taken multiple instructors and every sweat is better than the last! Recently Tunnel got new machines that are wayyyy better than the previous machine. They're easier to make spring changes and the carriage feels smoother. Clean facilities and REALLY friendly front desk staff and AMAZING instructors. They give hands on adjustments and are super concerned about everyones form. This is my go-to studio in Venice highly recommend!!

Tunnel is hands down my favorite pilates studio. I’ve been going to tunnel for about 1.5 years and initially found them on ClassPass- which I cancelled so I could get the membership directly through the studio. They have state-of-the- art reformers now, which they ended up upgrading to in order to meet the needs of their client base- who they really value. When I go to tunnel, I feel the warm of the community and they have some of the kindest and caring instructors. I have wonderful things to say about every instructor and they genuinely care about the clients. It’s not your traditional studio, and they teach via progressive overload- which I personally love. It’s very vibey and has a unique personality, and no two classes are the same. I absolutely love tunnel pilates and I totally wanted to gate keep, but they’re awesome people I appreciate and want to see tunnel thrive <3

I literally workout everyday at the gym and this is still the hardest workout I’ve ever done. Tunnel humbles me. I always leave feeling so satisfied to do whatever I want the rest of the day because got through a class lol

One of the best if not the best Pilates workout I have done. I would definitely recommend that you go check it out. Everybody is different so you have to try it for yourself.

The best workout in LA! I’ve been going to tunnel for almost two years now and I’m obsessed! I love that the studio offers both heated and non-heated classes for reformer and Pilates. The instructors are great at making sure you’re working the right muscles and providing corrections to ensure you have the right form. These classes have completely changed my body composition and made me so much stronger. The classes are high intensity and always leave me sweating, even after two years, I still get sore!

i am a dancer and have been taking pilates regularly for years. i would not recommend tunnel - the reformer design compromises the workout. springs are difficult to access which leads to downtime and finger injuries. the machine is so slim and lightweight that 20-30% of the workout becomes mat pilates on the carriage because the equipment isn’t designed properly. the instructors have to compensate with bands and additional equipment. if you are looking to get the most from your pilates practice, i would look elsewhere.

I had a really bad experience while taking stretch and sculpt with Bailey. Both the instructor and girl at the front desk were dismissive to me as soon as I walked in. Bailey ignored me as I was struggling throughout the class even though I had told her it was my first time here. She barely demo’d the moves and gave little to no cues on position, alignment etc. The reformers are clunky and difficult to adjust and Bailey did not help me change the weight even though it was clear I was struggling. I ended up walking out in the middle of the class because I felt demoralized and neither the instructor nor the girl at the front bothered to ask me if I was okay. The general vibe here is catty high school mean girls.

I had a disappointing experience at this Pilates class today. I arrived 8 minutes late and was not allowed to enter because of a 5-minute late policy. Unfortunately, this rule wasn't mentioned on ClassPass, where I made my reservation, or on the studio's website. As a result, I lost the points I used for the class and was charged a $17 fee on classpass for not attending the class. It's frustrating to be penalized for a policy that wasn't clearly communicated. This completely ruined my experience in this studio.

Note that the class itself is really good. I had one session with Jade and she was a great instructor.

Edit: I contacted classpass and get my points back and did not pay the $17 fee. This was a total waste of time.

I have been doing barre consistently for a year. I felt like I wasn't getting enough out of it and decided to try a pilates studio. I am SO glad I tried Tunnel because I feel amazing after every class and I feel like I am truly pushing myself. The teachers are amazing and the facilities are really nice too.

Tunnel offers a challenging workout that can be modified to accommodate people at various fitness levels. The workout is performed to the beat of the music in a dark setting, which allows you to escape mentally, and enter a flow state.

I had been coming to Tunnel Pilates for a while, but I will not be returning. I attended a class today at 10am and after class, when I returned to my cubby, my phone was nowhere to be found. I went to the lady at the front desk and she said that no one had been in or out of the studio. I went to my car and searched my car and my phone was not there. I came back inside and searched the cubbies up and down multiple times. I used the lady from the front desk’s phone to call my phone and it rang once and declined the call, which made me very suspicious. I called my mom because she has my location and she tracked my phone, and it was still there at Tunnel Pilates. I gave up after searching the cubbies multiple times and went home (with no phone which was very difficult) after leaving my mom’s phone number with the front desk lady, and she gave me the number of another instructor and said the owner was out of town. When I got home, I logged into Find My iPhone on my computer immediately. I tracked the phone and it was still appearing to be at Tunnel Pilates. I began playing the ringing noise using Find My iPhone. I did this for ten minutes and never received a call from anyone at Tunnel Pilates. My sister called Tunnel Pilates for me, and the same front desk lady answered, and she could hear my phone ringing in the background! When my sister asked about the ringing noise and explained that she was calling for me, the front desk lady seemed caught off guard and pretended to suddenly “find” the phone. I came to pickup the phone and she claimed it was in the cubbies which is not possible because I searched every single cubby and lifted both cubbies up and forward to make sure it was not there. The front desk lady was a dirty blonde so beware if you leave your phone in a cubby or I would recommend bringing it in the room with you to be safe. Overall, this ordeal took 2-3 hours, caused me an immense amount of stress, and it was very suspicious. In my opinion, this was attempted theft so I will not be returning.

I've been to Kelly's heated classes 3x. It's easily the hardest lagree/pilates (whatever) class I've taken. Kelly and the team have been friendly and welcoming on every occasion. I messed up and let a pass I'd purchased expire, they were kind enough to let me come in and use it anyways. Thanks ladies — see you soon!
