I love golfing at Tustin Ranch! I’ve made TR my home course for a couple of reasons. Challenging greens are great learning for a beginner like me. As a lady, I love the length of TR. I want yardage! It pricey but the other option for me would be Rancho San Joaquin and let’s get real… it’s inferior.
The staff is awesome - from the range staff to clubhouse to cart staff. Friendly and come to know you by name. I’m a woman who golfs on my own almost exclusively and I always feel safe, welcome, and comfortable.
Great putting green practice areas. Tough tiered greens.
Driving range is good for a warmup. Not my favorite practice facility but it’s great before a round of golf.
They just finished a huge refurbishment project and the course conditions are much nicer.

We had our wedding at TRGC, and it was such a great experience! Jane and her team are professional, responsible, and adaptable, and they made our day both memorable and stress-free. They have a great Chinese banquet menu that our guests said was the best wedding food they've had, and we got to ride their fancy golf cart around the venue for pictures. Couldn't recommend TRGC more!!

Booked this course out a month before we played, flew in from out of state only to get an email the night before that they were closing 2 of the holes on the front 9...I get it, courses need maintenance but give people a week at least to decide if they want to start on hole 8, play it twice, etc. Also, for $145+ round, this course was is rough shape. Hole 1 had turf cut out and replaced in multiple spots...not worth the $

Guys, seriously, please consider investing in quiet lawn mowers!
These "5 AM" wake up calls by loud machines, tree trimming and blowers have to stop. Anyone else out there loosing sleep as we are? City should get involved and revise a 40 year old provision granted to this golf course allowing them to disregard loud noise time restriction! How could this be ok???

I had by far the worst experience in my life there. They closed 2 par 4 holes of the back nine(13th & 14th), but never notified me of the fact at the time of booking, check-in, even the marshal at the starter never talked about that in advance. They discounted about 8 dollars per person, and gave a free drink coupon without telling the reason. Tustin Ranch GC is not par 72 regular course, but only par 64 incomplete one at the moment! That's a kind of fraud as I see it. I will never, ever go there again!!!!!

Spring 2025 has a lot of extensive course improvements going on.
Playable holes look lush. Greens are gonna be super NICE after recent rain May 5th 2025 . But whole course much improved. Tustin Ranch GC is currently installing under the layout a super special irrigation system to prevent challenges the GreenSKeeperS had 2 keep over-coming due to layout & rain flow. Always innovating the Golf Track & is STILL a hoot.

Long drive down the 10th hole 🕳️ par 5 on right and par 3 11t signature hope which has epic series of lakes, ponds, & stream that make into a giant fountain ⛲. It's just amazing design!

Then as driveheads straight to valet or parking 🅿️ area or drop of spots for all the different facilities.
Golf Facility comes into view and an incredibly forward thinking architecture design can now be seen in totality!

Luv this practice ⛳ range. Well maintained and separate building/facility away from primary golf area, ProShop, & restaurants. Range shack has some treats and beverages inside range shed. Well lit at nite for practice or hanging out respectfully and watch others practice. Multiple practice putting greens.

Tustin Ranch Golf Course is top 10% track & easily found from 3 different freeways or several toll Highways in heart of Orange 🍊 County Cali
Track is pretty open with lots of individual hole elevation changes & onngulations not just found on greens. Local tip- shortest holes r roughest and toughest.
TR definitely provides lesson each round on proper Course Management and has a lot of tee options that are best for You & handicap ( & players behind ya). We LUV playN the
Rabbit🐇Tees when we want extra challenge or just to increase amount of laughing.

I used to like Tustin ranch golf course. But not any more. The club charged me twice accidently or purposely. I went to the club twice for the issue to get refund. They even introduced me to their Manager (Brian) and they said that they would refund the fee immediately. I emailed and called Brian but no response from the club or him after 3 weeks. They knew that they made a mistake but no refund over 50 days !!! Be carful golfers when using your credit card at the Tustin Ranch.

They are renovating ALL the tee boxes. ALL tee boxes are moved forward 50 to 100 yards. The temporary tee boxes are elevated and sand...seems like teeing off inside the sand. They should at least advise the players about the renovation or lower the prices $. The rough is in bad shape as well. Definitely not worth $$ ... do not come until tee boxes are fixed. Not worth $130 to $160

Reservation was for a Sunday, during a holiday weekend. Price was almost $200 without the monthly “membership”. Finished in about 4.5 hours, which was nice. Didn’t feel rushed at any point. The front 9 tee boxes were being renovated, so the course played significantly shorter. Greens were in great shape, receptive, but still pretty fast. Lots of undulations and multilevel greens. Fair number of unrepaired divots, but that’s on the players. Fairways were in good shape. Most divots filled with sand/seed. Tee boxes and bunkers need help. Back nine tee boxes were a mixture of grass and lumpy. (Explains the front nine tee box repair). Bunkers have good quality sand, but very compressed.
Driving range was mats, but appear to be grass at least part of the time.
Definitely recommend getting a “membership” if you are going to play at least once a once. Membership is $44 a month, price difference per round was about $70.
Looking forward to seeing the course after repairs. Hopefully I don’t have four 3 putts next time.

TRGC is a great course that has a resort vibe. Fairways are wide and inviting. The greens are super tough which will keep you guessing. I would play here more often but the dynamic pricing makes this a luxury I will only treat myself to on special occasions.

I'd recommend any dog patch down the road, prior to paying for this poorly managed course.

I worked with Jane Wong (Catering Sales Director) to host a business dinner event at the club, and was very impressed with their customer service, flexibility, beautiful grounds, and excellent service during the event by Victor (Buffet/Event Manager), Rio, and their other colleagues. Many attendees complimented both the food and spacious, calming scenery and expressed interest in returning to this location. For all of these reasons mentioned, I highly recommend hosting an event on these grounds!

Nice track, has a tropical feel with all the palm trees. There are some nice scenic holes with some cool water features. If you are driving the ball well you can score. A lot of the greens are elevated so having shorter clubs in will help. Some or the greens are pretty tricky and have different levels. All the staff was nice as well. I think this is a busier course, we went on a Thursday and it was really busy.

First time playing. Had a great time. Pace was slower than the average. However today was after several days of rain and they had cart path only rule. I could see the pace being normal or below without that restriction.
Greens are definitely a challenge. Being in a community was a non factor as fairways are accommodating.

Tustin Ranch Golf Course recently made a lot of improvements to the fairways and rough. The greens are rolling nice as of November 2023. Its a medium difficulty course with the tiered greens being the only real defense to low scores. Its pricey on weekends but still a great value.

For the price, this was a great golf course!!! The layout and design was fun. There are some challenging green complexes. Greens were fast and you don’t want to be above the hole.

There were a few rough areas that were not in great shape. But they were not in play. The other negative was golfers not raking bunkers and not fixing ball marks on the green.

The course was in great shape. The staff was super friendly.

I would come back and play this course anytime I am in the area.

Played 18 as a single (paired with 3 other golfers) on 8.10.2023 and teed off at 7:50 am. Blue tees. Got around in exactly 4 hours. Course was in decent shape although there were some patchy areas on a few fairways and greens. Online green fees were $112 which in my view was not outrageous in hindsight. Range balls were pricey and need to be refreshed. The track itself is nice, somewhat challenging, and overall I give it a thumbs up. All staff members were polite and helpful.

They recently just fired their head greens keeper that Troon was talked into keeping why they didn't show Brent The Door as well is beyond me ! He Doesen't Even Play GOLF !

Really great course! Loved the layout and conditions were pretty good considering the rain. Best part was the staff and management. I was unable to finish my round due to some slow groups ahead of me and the head pro called me to invite me to come play a complimentary round the next day. ALWAYS call before coming, no matter how the weather is. In my 7 days of trying to come in a row, 3 were closed. 1 was reasonable (raining), 1 was debatable (a little windy), but 1 was completely ridiculous (classic sunny California). Ironically, the course itself was open on all three days.

Played this morning (Friday, February 10, 2023) and the course is in great condition. They have resolved the issues with the greens so they are clean and rolling true. Still an issue with players not fixing ball marks. The reminders feed to the GPS Screens should help. All in all a great day!

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. I was at an event in November where our organization paid a lot to have a tournament there. I left my range finder in my golf cart and called the course the next day. The guys at the pro shop confirmed they had it but they needed approval by the pro, gary or brad or someone, to send it to me. After weeks of leaving him voicemails (they said he was on vacation multiple times...what for a month?), he never returned my call. I called for the 4th time to ask the pro shop if I could venmo them $50 to have them send it to me in norcal and they said sorry. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Will advise our group to never do business there again.

Lovely golf course. Staff is very friendly and attentive. You can feel Ted Robinson touch combined with typical Palm Spring resort style. Not many links course vibes though. Recently started managed by Troon I heard, however, Troon Immaculation is not there yet.

There were several memorable holes, 11 par 3 will remind you of the island green, and 18 par 4 is a great finishing hole that reminds you of Torrey Pines South 18's green. Most greens are severely tiered and guarded by deep bunkers, mandating plan ahead on your approach. Green speed was not fast not slow.

Negatives are the couse is surrounded by homes, townhomes, and also around the outer edge neborhood traffic going. Also, maybe due to the season, there were numerous wet spots and faded grass all over.

Was very pleased with this course, had a great round right on pace, friendly in the golf shop and restaurant. Greens were coming around after being punched recently but otherwise the course was in great shape for a fall round. Played in just about 4.5hrs on a Friday mid-morning round, and that's after a short stop at the turn for lunch. Greens on the back were much better than the front, but whole course I felt was extremely nice and well maintained. Fun resort style course, very playable for all levels, some wide fairways to hit. For $100 I'd play here again...

I live in the neighborhood and am an active golfer. I wish with all my heart I had a local friendly golf course to go to. These guys are NOT it. I was just turned away from the range at 4PM on Friday. I was told they needed the parking???? It wasn't even half full. These guys are NOT good neighbors. They NEVER give a break to anyone from the community. Turn away local residents for out-of-towners that aren't even there. I am SICK of these guys.

This review is only for the driving range.

$17 for a large bucket of balls (105). The balls are limited flight (about 15% less) and feel terrible when you hit them. Some
of the balls have effectively lost all of their dimples. No grass. You have to hit off of cheap hitting mats that will destroy your joints in the long run.

But the range is packed with people so why would Tustin Ranch try to improve the experience? I really don’t understand why anyone would come here to hit balls.

Really disappointed with the 9 hole experience today. $50 each and the staff conducted maintenance on every hole alongside us. Game is ruined when the tees are being moved whilst you’re playing the hole and you have to wait around mid hole… the tee boxes are being resurfaced whilst you wait to tee off… and the greens are being leaf blown too late putting off your approach. I will however say the course is very well maintained… just a shame that they made us peer behind the curtain with them for all 9 holes.

I have been a member of Tustin Ranch for about 15 years and always believed it truly was a private course experience on a public course. The golf course was immaculate, with greens that would rival any course. The staff, from general manager to maintenance, were friendly and displayed pride in the facility. I have referred dozens of people to join the club because of the entire Tustin Ranch experience.

I am sad to say that I no longer feel this way. Since American Golf has assumed management the course has worked its way from being excellent to embarrassing. The greens have become terrible, and the overall experience is less than one would expect from such a historically nice course. It seems that the goal is to jam as many people as possible onto the course in a day. I am all for making a profit, but at what cost to the course? Ball marks are not repaired, greens are dying, half of the fairways are closed to carts. I haven't given up yet, and hope for a return to the pristine course that it once was.

The service at the snack bar and restaurant is horrible - I ordered tuna sandwich and beer on 12/19 around 10.40 am and they forgot about my order. I came to the restaurant to check on my order twice and they failed to make it for 1.5 hours.

The women tried to double charge me for the same order 1.5 hours later when she finally found my order. They are also extremely rude and discriminate people with the foreign accent, who are their paid customers. The staff didn't even apologize when I said I am waiting for 1.5 hours for my order, instead the cashier was trying to double charge me!!!

I asked for the manager but was told that me manager already left for the day at 12.20 pm.

If you are still brave enough to order from this place - ask for the receipt - they won't give it to you without asking, trying to avoid any liabilities in case if the order will be forgotten. Based on the experience - it will happen 100%. The worst food place I ever visited.

Why I can't give 0 star here? 1 is too much here. Terrible customer service from A to Z. I have been to more than 20+ golf clubs in S CA. This is the worst place ever period. Eventually, I have forced to refund. They have me wait until 1 second before my tee time though many carts are available by saying our carts are not available due to covid 19. Whatever you ask, they keep saying please excuse due to Covid 19. Please be cautious if you ask them to get the key 5 minutes before tee time, you will be asked to leave and you will waste whole day.

I like the people that work there but question the ownership. My father had a slip and fall accident that resulted in a hip replacement. Unbeknownst to them my father was willing to donate the settlement to junior golf. He IS that kind of person but they low-balled the amount and it was over. He gained nothing but hardship and pain recovering.

Tustin Ranch GC is a wonderful venue. Today's experience was not characteristic though. The greens were punched and heavily layered with so much sand that at times it felt as if we were in the bunkers! Still, it is worthy of high praise as a great and relaxing venue. The conditions probably accounted for the fast play as there often was no one in sight!

Unfortunate. Tustin is a great layout with challenging greens but they have completely lost the greens. 3-4 of them are just dead and the rest are like land mines with all the ball marks. Worst i have played on in years. Here’s the deal if Augusta has bad and it dead greens it’s a goat track. I can tolerate dead or patchy fairways and rough, but greens have to be pure and these are almost unplayable

Got poison ivy the last 2 times I played here. Greens are trash and I left my earbuds in the cart and magically the did not know where they were. Use to be a decent place but has really got worse as American golf let this place go.
