I've come here a handful of times to take flying pole lessons with Michelle (she's a great teacher). I haven't had the chance to take any other classes at this studio. Limited parking since it's in a downtown area, so plan ahead.

I took Intro to Lyra for New Students with Angel and I loved it! Angel is a fun, supportive, and patient teacher. I forgot the sequence of moves and which leg was supposed to go where, but Angel would help me remember and walk me through the steps.

This was my first Lyra class and she made me feel very comfortable and also provided ways to modify the moves if necessary. The hour long class flew by!

I also appreciated that Angel would walk around the room and provide individual support to each student. I have been in some classes where the instructor just stays at the front of the class after demonstrating moves and does not offer personal attention.

I look forward to taking another Lyra class with Angel soon!

LOVE twirly, great supportive group of individuals who are just as much fun in class as well as outside of class. I’ve been a long time dancer but started at twirly 2 years ago. Sara and Stacey’s choreography pole and chair has become part of my life. Love it here!

I took my first class here back in December of 2010 and was pretty much a fixture at the studio for most of 2011 before I had to move across the country for a whole lot of higher education/my job. Even now, I still pop in whenever I'm back on the west coast to take classes. I've been to maybe 7 different studios around the country (mostly CA and NY) but there is no other studio in the world as welcoming and friendly as this one. When you're here, it's like you're with an incredibly supportive and encouraging family. In the 7-ish years that I've been here, I've taken mostly pole, some silks and lyra, as well as a number of workshops. It's a really fun way to get a workout in, and it's one of the things I miss most when I'm away.

Bel is one of the sweetest and genuine people I've ever known, and her classes are always a lot of fun. She has a background as a personal trainer so safety + building a good foundation is highly emphasized here, and she's able to find variations to work with all skill and age levels. You can also book parties (people have a lot of fun with birthdays/bachelorette parties/other events here!) and "red light specials" ($150 for the hour for up to 10 girls)!

P.S. Please don't put on lotion the day you go because it makes the poles super slippery. Also, wearing shorts would probably be helpful. Skin sticks to the pole better!
