Visited LA and had to check out the gym. The staff and coaches were friendly as hell, and the whole UACTP community had an incredibly welcoming vibe. Definitely glad I stopped by. Will be back fs!

Clean space for you to work on your goals. Coach Sarah puts on a great group workout & Coach Tino pushes his students in jiu jitsu and training. I would be selfish if I told you to stay away because I want to enjoy all these perks for myself!! #undefeatedmentality

Beautiful facility with showers, very high level and technical instructors. In particular, Professor Haueter is a 6th degree black belt and a pioneer in our art. Learning from him is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

They have a great assortment of classes for all your training needs. The trainers not only have great knowledge but also walk the walk. They host workshops and gatherings creating a community atmosphere.

One stop shop if you have any issues or injury they have a in house professional to get you back to 100%. On the other end they have a shop to keep you laced up.

It's a place where you'll pay in sweat and hardwork. Raw like LA.

UACTP is such an amazing place to visit. I have visited the gym a handful of times for BJJ Seminars, and they always have an amazing lineup of world renowned guests.

The mats are clean, and the small setting definitely gives the seminars a different feel since you are able to almost have a 1 on 1 with the seminar guest at times.

Furthermore, the host black belts are also always very welcoming, and they treat everyone with respect regardless of where you train. I often get invited to their open mats, which hopefully I will one day actually oblige.

I've never taken a self defense class but have always wanted to, so when they offered the community class, I jumped at the opportunity. I know this gym offers Jujitsu classes so I trusted that it would be a good class, and boy was it. Every woman knows the fear of walking down the street at night alone. It's something we deal with constantly. After the first exercise of being pulled with intention, that fear was realized. However, being coached on how to get out of a grip was enormously empowering and quieted the fear. The fact that there was a man coaching and encouraging us to be rough with each other so it could feel more real, in turn making us more confident, was the ultimate sign of support. He was calm, articulate, respectful, honest, and funny. I had the honor of working with the owner's wife who takes the classes there and she was the best partner. Feeling her strength sparked my own. Being on the mat that day with all those women was community at its finest. I beg you to take this class, and tell your loved ones too. These streets are wild, level up! Stay UNDFTD.

I’ve attended three grappling seminars so far at UACTP-LA, and each one has been a valuable learning experience. The workshops are well-structured, lasting three hours with plenty of time for training and asking questions. They’re definitely worth the price of admission and a great investment in building knowledge. The staff is polite and professional. I train with Coach Jeff Obar and the crew during the Saturday morning free rolls. I highly recommend this gym for both its seminars and jiu-jitsu classes.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Professor Tino for many years, and I’m deeply appreciative of his friendship, his teaching, and his extraordinary dedication as an instructor. In my view, a great instructor provides a strong foundation for their students to learn, but Professor Tino goes far beyond that. His teaching is infused with genuine care and passion, which truly sets him apart.

What inspires him the most, as he’s often told me, is witnessing his students’ growth and success. His focus isn’t on personal achievements or recognition but on the progress and satisfaction of those he teaches. This kind of selflessness is both rare and admirable.

Professor Tino’s teaching style is highly adaptable, catering to a wide variety of goals and needs. Whether a student’s focus is on self-defense, physical fitness, stress relief, building a sense of community, personal development, weight loss, learning a new skill, competing, or simply having fun, he customizes his approach to support those objectives. He recognizes that each student has a unique journey, complete with their own goals and challenges, and he has the experience and wisdom to meet them where they are.

This adaptability is especially important because many instructors tend to prioritize specific areas or groups, which can leave others feeling left out. Professor Tino, however, has an exceptional gift for creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

My personal experience with Professor Tino has been nothing short of exceptional. He’s not only an outstanding instructor but also an incredible person. This is my honest and heartfelt review of Professor Tino, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly to anyone looking for a top-notch instructor and mentor.

Yes, the facility is beautiful and the equipment is top-notch, but the true value of UACTP is the people you’ll meet here. Superb coaches and the loveliest people you could hope to train with. Come here to get strong and make new friends along the way :)

my favorite gym because i’ve now condensed my two memberships into one (bjj gym, and a gym to lift at) having classes helps too so on days i don’t have the energy to take myself through a workout i can just go to a class. also dope to get to shop undefeated gear.

UACTP is one of the nicest facilities I’ve ever visited—super clean and well-maintained. Many BJJ gyms can be a bit rough around the edges, but not this one. The Black Belt instructor, Jeff, and the entire staff are pretty cool. Highly recommend!

Issacs is not only a black world champion (ibjjf) but a good person to , I was welcomed into the academy and didn't feel like a need to prove anything.... there's a great group of core individuals with a great attitude and mutual understanding to progress technically and that's very rare to see, I've been to a ton of gyms in the US through my journey yet very few have the ability to provide what this gym does.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at UACTP. The facility itself is nothing short of amazing, offering top-notch amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff, particularly Alexis, made my visit exceptional.

Alexis provided me with an excellent tour of the facility, showcasing its impressive features and ensuring I felt comfortable from the moment I arrived. He efficiently set me up for my class, taking care of all the details and making the process seamless. Alexis was also incredibly knowledgeable and patient, answering all of my questions.

UACTP offers a diverse range of training options, including yoga, boxing, jiu-jitsu, and strength and conditioning. The quality of instruction and the level of expertise in each discipline are truly remarkable. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, UACTP provides exceptional training opportunities that cater to all skill levels.

I highly recommend UACTP for anyone seeking a top-of-the-line training facility with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The combination of the amazing facility, skilled instructors, and Alexis' outstanding assistance truly sets UACTP apart.

Uactp is the goat. I train there for Isaac Doederlein. Uactp is fortunate enough to have a world champion who teaches there twice a day. The highest level of instruction possible. It’s literally the best kept secret in La as far as jiu-jitsu.
