I was in a severe car accident, broken bones, coma for a few days, brain bleed. Cancelling my gym membership was not on my mind, but my cousin called to let them know I wouldn't be able to go and asked phone person to cancel. They said they'd take care of it. They never did, I kept getting charged, 2 months later, I emailed them to cancel, it was still not. I disputed those months, and still told me that I owed the months since I didn't cancel it the "acceptable way". I wouldn't pay it, they sent it to collections, so there's that. Not paying it. Good luck to the new members wanting to cancel.

UFC GYM do I need to spell it out? If you are serious about your training or your overall health this is the gym for you. They offer more than just gym equipment. There are trained professionals that can athletically train you to work out, Jiu Jitsu, boxing, yoga the list goes on. Personally I've taken the Yoga and HIT class. My husband has taken the Jiu Jitsu, Conditioning for Boxing and the HIT class. These classes are a cut above. The gym equipment is always clean (there are towels and anti-bacterial spray available) and always kept up unlike other gyms I've been a member at.

Make sure you talk to Brian & Nelson. Brian is the manager and he is truly a friendly and professional man. I have seen Brian actually work-out there a few times and he always says hi to all members. Nelson took us on the tour and showed us around the facility. Both Brian & Nelson set-up our membership.

Check out the recovery room. It is worth every penny. Look for Leo. He is an amazing guy. He has helped us with the Cryo, Red Light Therapy, the water massage... He always goes out of his way to make sure we are set with our recovery program.

UFC GYM sells it self but wait till you check out the Brea Gym. Ask about the membership that you can also go to other UFC GYM's. I also go to the La Mirada, CA UFC GYM to switch things up. Their equipment, staff and classes are also Five star!
Thank you UFC !!! I look forward to working-out again!

TERRIBLE!
its been an on going issue with canceling my membership. I dont live in the area Briana told me to email Rachel which I never heard from. Sent multiple emails. After 2 months I went in to cancel my membership with Briana signed what I needed to sign to cancel the amount. Now im getting emails and messages stating I owe $420. Called the location today and they said I owe money my membership as never canceled. This place is ridiculous. Worst customer service! Terrible communication! All they care about is signing up and once they have you signed up, could carecarelessless about any other concerns!

Rachel Garcia (Manager) needs to act like one and follow up with information.
Briana (check in person) needs to be taught on how to cancel a membership and do it correctly.

Left my iPhone next to the boxing bags for a second and it was stolen. Initially when filing the claim with the gym, the front desk said they would review the cameras and see if they can track them down. The next day the manager wouldn’t do anything and said I needed to file a police report in order for them to look into it.

Watch your belongings here because the staff won’t help

I"ve come on here to say that this morning as I was exercising at 7:30 am to prevent coming in during their peak times in the evening. I specifically came in to train glutes and shoulders this morning. As I was training doing lunges on the Smith machine, their cleaning guy started mopping in between my sets specifically on and around the Smith machine. He made the area very wet and dangerous, additionally the chemicals he used for cleaning caused me to become very, very sick. I had a severe allergic, anaphylactic reaction to the chemicals he was using. I had severe difficulty breathing, my eyes started watering, I felt as if I was going to pass out, truly. I became nauseous also. I literally went and gagged over the trash can. I kindly asked him to please not mop in that area as the smell was quite strong. He ignored me and went back and mopped the Smith machine area, specifically under the bar, where I was exercising another time. He never apologized or seemed phased that I was being made sick by the smell of the cleaning chemicals. I had to stop my workout due to having been made so sick. I normally train for an hour and half, sometimes 2 hours. I was there only 30 minutes due to this incident that caused me to have to cut my workout short, soon after this violent reaction to these cleaning chemicals .I still couldn't breathe when I got home, as I still felt dizzy and extremely sick. I went to Urgent Care due to this reaction to these chemicals. I did report this incident to Kareem, the manager on staff at the time. He was very apologetic, but when I called him after I got home and told him I was going to Urgent Care due to the chemical smell allergic reaction, he stated that the chemicals were fine to use while people are exercising. I pray and hope that this cleaning guy is scheduled to clean during graveyard hours so that no other members are made sick as I was. This cleaning guy was very non-apologetic and seemed to not care that he made me sick when I brought it to his attention.

I have been exercising for over 45 years and am a former 7xs fitness and bodybuilding champion. I also have my own business-Janina's Fitness in Brea. I joined UFC due to the variety of equipment and the alleged 24- hour access. It is not truly 24 hour access as it closes at 10 pm Friday night and 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday, so it's false advertising there. I also used to manage a true 24-hour access bodybuilding gym in south Orange county for 2 years. So, I'm quite familiar with gym operations and all that. I truly hope that the situation with the cleaning guy is resolved immediately, because if I am made sick again I don't want to have to resort to other measures to rectify this matter.
Signing a liability upon joining a gym does not include suffering allergic, anaphylactic reactions to their cleaning crew specifically cleaning where a member is exercising, exposing them to dangerous chemicals.

I tried this gym recently and had a pretty disappointing experience. I had left my ID at the front desk, and when I needed to leave, I waited and even had someone notify the staff for me, but was ignored. When I retrieved my own ID (which I had permission to leave), one of the managers confronted me in a rude and condescending tone in front of others. I came in with good intentions, was respectful, and didn’t deserve to be spoken to like that. Not a great first impression. Will not be getting a membership.

My husband and I both bought memberships in full. Over $2,000. Decided to do a two month trial for my son and paid two months at the time of the sign up. Made it very clear to sales guy what I was doing and confirmed the end date of the two months. I did this to make sure my son enjoyed the youth classes prior to purchasing a year in full. He didn't like it. The two months was to end in May. May ended and all of a sudden I have another $300 of charges for my son on my card. Called to question the charges and they said the sales guy put us on a month to month. NOT WHAT WAS AGREED ON. Not one person in that gym - including the sales manager and operations manager has any business sense and refused to refund the additional charges. They hide behind their corporate curtain and offer nothing but "sorry". After my membership is up - I'm out. BE CAREFUL OF TRUSTING THESE PEOPLE.

I’ve never wrote any reviews on Google, but I have to write one this time.
I signed up for a month to month membership in January and wanted to quit in April for personal reasons.
I paid for the first and last month so the fee was $89x2 and a $59 annual fee.
I gave notice on April 29, but they have me paying through July 13 even though I paid the last month’s bill on my first month. I have to pay 1 more month on the top of that because I canceled less than 21 days before the billing date. The UFC gym is nice until you want to quit. Then they suck every dime they can out of you on the way out. It’s so predatory.
If I give 30 days notices on 4/29, my last day should be 5/29, not 7/13. And my last month’s payment that I paid when I signed up should cover from last month’s payments which is 5/14-5/29. But they don’t follow their own rules in the contract.
So remember, when you quit, you are paying at least 2+ months. The last month payment you made on your first month doesn’t cover the last month.

UFC GYM Brea

*NEVER SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS GYM* June 2024. I bought a 2 year membership and 12 personal training classes for my 12 year old daughter. Totalling $1380. She was excited to learn to fight and I wanted her to know basic personal defense. She had a membership a couple years prior at the fullerton location. Great experience! Her coach there, coach Brandon was wonderful! Great with kids! I assumed the new brea location would be as wonderful. I was wrong. Her first day of personal training with coach Batallia he was teaching her a take down. He picked her up and threw her on her back! Absolutely no warning or training on how to fall and minimize injury. I was shocked! I didn't know how to reached watching this 50 year old man slam her to the ground! She got the wind knocked out of her and he told her to get up. He then proceeded TO DO IT AGAIN! This time even harder! It took her a good 10 seconds to take a breath! Then the fear kicked in and she started balling. She couldn't breath. Coach Batallia just told her this is how you train first responders and Olympic fighters. SHE WAS NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS! JUST A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO HE TERRIFIED AND ASSAULTED! She couldn't move her back so I took her outside to calm down and assess her Injuries. I called my husband who immediately came to the location. He went in to talk to the manager, Brian Walker. The front desk guy came out to check on her as did Kevin, signed her up for her membership. Kevin said that coach Batallia should never have done this and it's not how they train children. He apologized and told me to go home and take as much time as necessary to figure out what we want to do. I should have taken her to the hospital. That's on me. It took 2 weeks for her back to heal and have full range motion. Unfortunately she was too scared to go back. I dont blame her! It was and still is traumatic!! I called to let them know she won't be returning and I'd just like a refund. They told me you have 5 days to refund and I missed the window so yhey wouldn't give me my money back. This was never communicated to me! They said take your time! The manager Brian Walker went from kind and sympathetic to rude and unhelpful. He said I'd have to write a letter to corporate. Which I did and never got a response. I emailed Brian several times to get and update. No response. Now his email is changed. I cant get corporate on the phone. No one will talk to me. I'm not the type of person to slam places on social media. I'd like to hope places the advertise children's classes would do the right thing. It's been 9 months. I've gotten nothing from them. So I'm here...warning other parents to be careful! DONT GO TO THIS GYM! I understand that this is a contact sport. BUT YOU TEACH THEM FIRST! You don't slam them into the ground where they can't breath in move WITHOUT TRAINING!!!! Im furious with them and with myself for trusting them with the well being of my daughter!

Honestly, it’s a really nice gym! The equipment is nice and I enjoy the classes offered. However, the sales tactics are definitely shady. First, the lady who signed me up told me the offer of signing up for one year of the highest tier membership and getting the next year free. I signed up and was super excited. She called me the next day and stated that that wasn’t actually an offer and the contract would have to be voided. I was instead offered a lower tier membership with a similar deal. But I thought it was pretty unprofessional to say “oops, I take it back!” Another thing, the employees make great promises and say “we’re like a family here!” the girl that helped me even said that we could work out together now that I am a member. I went in the next week and saw her, waved, and she looked at me and ignored me. I didn’t really expect an actual friendship to form or to even work out together, but I think saying hi is pretty bare minimum and thought what she did was incredibly rude.

My 2 sons attended this gym we cancelled both, however they only recorded 1 cancellation. I discovered after my credit card stopped paying them. I have tried to speak to their manager and they refuse to get on the phone. They tell me I can only email management. The reception desk now calls me daily telling me I cannot cancel my membership until I get my account current. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would not recommend this gym at all. They sign you up and then make it almost impossible to cancel. Typical scam!!!!

Shady sales tactic and business; be aware.

I signed up at this location almost a year ago and was basically pressured into getting a 2- year locked in membership that would allow me to sign into other UFC gyms. I began alternating between this location and the Anaheim location, attending DUT and other classes offered without any issues with pre-registering for the clases on the app or signing into the clubs. However, a couple months ago, I was told at the UFC-Anaheim location that I couldn’t go there anymore because of changes with their management. I tried to explain that my contract stated that I could go to any location and reminded them that I didn’t have any issues there in the past. They told me that if I wanted to continue to go there, I had to buy a second membership with them to be able to attend that location reiterating the management changes. Since I had already pre-paid for my membership 2 years in advance, I didn’t see the point or value in not only committing, but also paying for a second membership. When I came to this location, I spoke with Nelson who suggested what I was told at UFC-Anaheim which was to purchase another membership at Anaheim. I couldn’t believe I was being suggested by 2 gyms with the same name to purchase a membership at each when my contract states I could go anywhere for the duration of my contract. He also added that I could essentially “buy myself out of my current contract” (even tho he knew I paid in advance already) and I still have more than 1 yr left. He also added that I could purchase a new membership that would cost me over $1,000 for 1 yr and stated he was “helping me out” even though both options meant UFC makes more money off of me while I end up with 2 new memberships.

Needless to say, I am not buying a second membership and I am definitely not renewing my current contract. This is my first time signing up with UFC and both locations I have tried to connect with and build community in have left a sour taste in my mouth. Wouldn’t recommend signing up to anyone.

Coach Lutz started as my personal trainer at my former gym. He was attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and focused. He has helped me with believing I could actually succeed at losing 100 pounds - even at age 63, change my entire eating routine, and change my entire fitness routine at home and when I’m at the gym. Even with a surgery, health issues, and some personal setbacks – I’m down a good chunk of weight and well on my weight loss journey.

He left that gym and so did I, but as soon as he found a place he felt was able to have the quality we preferred he let me know.

Now we are friends and I get to workout with him at this new beautiful facility in Brea. Check it out! It has a great workout room, a fight ring, and a cool recovery room.

Coach Richard - keeps that mat area squeaky clean! Every single time I’m there I see him mopping down the mat floor! Thank you Richard!

And Leon - always helpful and on top of things in there Recovery Room! Thank you!

After one year of opening, the equipments already get signs of tearing and missing, lack of snap hooks, missing grip handles, etc. Management doesn't really care other than signing new customers. Asked many times if they would have landmine barbell and get some replacement of missing parts, no one follows after three months. Fyi, This new gym doesn't have a landmine bar.

Coach Richard with Jiu Jitsu and Coach JackPaul with boxing have also made my experience worthwhile. I recommend checking it out and taking a trial class!

Honestly it's a good gym. Good equipment. Good layout of the equipment. Plenty of classes. Kind staff. Personally, I just need better noise cancelling headphones for the max volume hip hop and rap that's always being played. It's the only thing I've heard in this gym. As much as I like a variety of music sometimes a guy wants to listen to something else or watch anime.

Amazing gym with a ton of potential! I truly love this place and would recommend it to many friends and family that are like-minded. There are some great coaches that work here!

However, all it takes is a couple of bad apples and a slightly mismanaged element to put a sour taste at the end of nearly every workout.

For instance, my biggest gripe is how out of touch the personnel is with how to properly operate and deliver the product that is their Recovery Room. There was clearly a large investment to develop such a great design, provide quality equipment, and pay very crucial attention to detail!

This includes the "Zen" environment with a secluded room, relaxing music, and dimmed lights. It is critical to remove this space from the rest of the gym as it accompanied by chaos.

Unfortunately, this is where the failure takes place.

First off, The staff treats this space like their break room. Barging in with highly frenetic and chaotic energy, completely oblivious to the change of environment from the outside gym. Further confounding the situation they will often loudly socialize about their personal life, frolic and play with each other and other gym members, and/or even break out in a complete sparring session in the middle of the room when the clients are trying to relax.

Secondly, the HVAC system seems to be inadequate for the space often leading to the staff opting to leave the Recovery Room door wide open to compensate. The outside gym music is completely incompatible with this "Zen" environment. Additionally, there is a natural, unintelligible and disruptive yelling and screaming generated from a typical kids class. These classes occur very nearby the open doors adds greatly to noise pollution.

Lastly, the membership sales staff will bring potential customers into the Recovery Room during their sales pitch to prospects. It would pay off if they respected the current gym members paying extra to be in this room. They could lead and drive a much better ownership of the atmosphere they are trying to sell.

Make no mistake, I believe the people who work here good people and that kids will be kids!

Nice gym, but beware of their shady sales tactics. I went in one day to tour the gym with my son. I was quoted a price for myself and for him by the assistant manager at the time. I was in a hurry, I ended but signing up with them. What they quoted me is what my bank account was drafted for. My fault for not reading the contract, however for the last 2 months I tried to resolve the issue and no one is responding to my emails. When I speak to them in person, they tell me that Rachel will need to fix this problem, but she never communicates with me via email. Terrible customer service. The gym itself is nice, clean, and I love their classes. Unfortunately, I feel duped and lied to. Beware of what you are signing for.

Was pressured into signing up and was told I had a week to change my mind for a refund.

Half way into the week I realized none of the classes work with my schedule and requested to cancel. They told me to allow 3-4 weeks for the refund to process. 4 weeks went by with no refund. Contacted them again and finally received the refund.

Beware of you aren’t positive about joining. The staff is very friendly and the recovery room is nice but the administrative practices are a bit shady.

Very beautiful gym! The facility has only been open for about a year, so the equipment is all very new and very clean. The amenities are amazing! There is a cryotherapy room, red light therapy room, sauna, massage chairs, boxing ring, and a full open gym area upstairs, and other amenities. I appreciate Martin so much for giving me a very thorough tour of the gym and all the great things it has to offer. Thanks Martin!

SCAM ALERT 🚨

I recently joined UFC GYM, and as part of the membership, I received a 1-month trial for the recovery room. However, I later discovered that I had been involuntarily signed up for a full-year contract without my consent. I was enrolled when I signed up for just the membership. 😡

After reaching out through phone calls and emails, I explained the situation to Rachel, the manager. I expressed concern about enrolling in the recovery room without my knowledge. Unfortunately, her response disregarded my situation and instead focused on the fact that I had signed up for the Recovery Room. To make matters worse, I was charged three times consecutively: once on 6/30, again on 7/10, and once more on 7/8.

In her email, Rachel Garcia stated, "Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund when there is a contract signed for recurring payments." She completely ignored my concerns.

I would strongly advise against joining this gym due to their poor business practices and unprofessionalism.

Finally, I used to manage a martial arts school and would never do this to a student.

I’ve been a member with UFC since 2020, and I initially started in UFC La Mirada. I transferred to UFC in Brea in 2023 and the staff was amazing and very professional. Yesterday I walked in gym and the new General Manager that was in the front desk was very rude and unprofessional and was accusing me of not paying for my daughter’s membership and recovery. He rudely made show him my credit card transactions and after he saw I was actually paying it, all he was “Oh Okay”,

He embarrassed me in front of other members and went off to say that last General Manager who was Freddy had done it all wrong.

Needless to say none of that was necessary and I felt embarrassed for his actions. All the other staff have been amazing and friendly and I’m not going to allow ONE RUDE individual to mess up what I have.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with UFC Gym Brea, and I feel compelled to share it. My friend and I both signed up for memberships here. My friend’s membership costs $125 a month and allows access to every single UFC location. Mine costs $130 a month and includes recovery services along with access to all locations.

However, the manager, Brian, who is always wearing glasses and a red shirt, and probably has Down syndrome but I can’t really tell, recently banned my friend from our location. Brian claimed that my friend’s ULTIMATE VIP membership only allows access to non-franchised locations, and since UFC Gym Brea is franchised, he couldn’t use it here. This seemed odd, so we tested it by having my friend’s sister, who has the same membership, check in. She had no issues whatsoever. But when my friend tried to check in, Brian rudely avoided his questions and instead pushed him to upgrade to the $130 membership.

It’s clear that Brian is targeting my friend. The root of the issue seems to be that we were regularly using the recovery services, which an employee had previously allowed my friend to use despite his membership not including it. Brian noticed this and was visibly upset. Rather than handle the situation professionally, he chose to single out my friend in a very unfair manner.

I cannot recommend this gym to anyone. The management is unprofessional, and it seems they are more interested in squeezing more money out of members than providing a fair and consistent service. If you are considering joining, I would advise you to look elsewhere.

I am only allowed to reward five stars, but this person deserves all the stars in the universe. Rachel Suerte, Coach @ UFC Brea, is an actual pro-pros coach. Ms. Suerte takes the time to understand your goals, identify weaknesses, and create a true custom workout. I have been training with Rachel for some time now, and she has been a beacon of encouragement, from helping me reach my goal weight to giving me complete confidence in my squat form. My lower body strength has increased significantly with improved overall form. The guidance Ms. Suerte provides is truly first class. Besides the strength training, get Ms. Suerte in the ring and see how impressive of a boxing coach she is; I 1000% recommend it. Ms. Suerte is genuinely beyond amazing, with a personality to match it, and I appreciate everything she has help me accomplish thus far.

I've had a very disappointing experience with UFC Brea Gym. Two months ago, I noticed they charged me over $400 twice, even though I never signed a contract or had any agreement with them. When I called, they promised to refund me, but I never received the money. I had to cancel my credit card to stop the charges.

Recently, I went to cancel my membership, and they said I needed to pay $49 for the recovery room. I didn't have cash, so I used my new credit card. Somehow, they charged me $432 on this new card after I canceled my membership! This is unacceptable and ridiculous. Be very careful with your credit card information at this gym. I would not recommend UFC Brea Gym to anyone.

After discovering the $432 charge, I complained to them. They sent me an email with a receipt for a purchase I never made and for which I never signed an agreement. I only used my new credit card for the one-time cancellation payment, yet they still charged me $432 without my authorization. Potential customers should be very cautious when signing up or considering this gym.

Until today, 6/9, I have not received the refund of $1296 from UFC Brea, despite their promise on 6/6. They charged this amount three times without my agreement, and the last charge was made without authorization on a credit card I used for a one-time payment. I feel they have stolen money from their customers.

Update : I had a terrible experience with the UFC Brea branch gym. Last Thursday, they promised to refund me $1,296, but I didn't receive anything by Monday. I kept calling them, and when I tried again yesterday, neither the manager, Chris, nor the operations manager, Rachel, were available. I waited on hold for over ten minutes until the owner Slavs finally picked up. He was very rude and seemed clueless about the situation. He promised a co-worker would get back to me the same day, but by 5:30 p.m., I still hadn't heard back.

When I called again, they claimed to process the refund over the phone, but they lied about refunding me immediately. Today, I still didn't see any refund in my bank account. After contacting my bank, I found out they processed the refund only today, despite their promises. They did not act responsibly or correct their mistake promptly. It took persistent calling and effort to get any response.

The management at this gym is highly irresponsible. They charged my bank account and credit card without my agreement or authorization, which feels like they were trying to steal money from me. This has been a nightmare experience, and I cannot recommend this gym.

I joined UFC Gym Brea for the location, jiu jitsu mat space and the recovery room. But the more I invest my time at UFC Brea the more I’m noticing the return of investment in me as a gym member through their coaches and team members.

Coach Niko: I approached Coach Niko because I noticed him working with grapplers and as a grappler I was looking into ways to recover from recent injuries. I so appreciate that in our conversation he suggested that I focus on recovery. To slow down was not the answer I wanted but it was the answer I needed. I booked massage sessions with him and between the physical relaxation of my muscles and the encouragement to seek recovery he reminded me of the importance of recovery and that going 100%, 100% of the time is not realistic and I’m happy to say my injuries are now manageable because of his guidance on recovery.

Cassie: After about 1 month of being a member and frequently visiting the recovery room Cassie had me feeling like I was at a day spa. Every time she’s there I know I’m going to get what I went there for, relaxation and recovery from my workout and just life. Her service of the variety of amenities offered is quality and she’s gone above and beyond to recognize me as a regular and greets me with good energy always eager to help meet my recovery needs. Thank you Cassie for your consistency of above and beyond service. You’re a rarity.

Coach Chris: I approached Coach Chris simply because he was available and I needed someone to take a full body photo for my “before pics” because I was ready to start taking my training goals seriously. After short conversation I could tell he was knowledgeable, experienced and I appreciated his genuine interest in why and what I was working towards. I wasn’t looking for a personal trainer and was unsure about a male personal trainer but now I have one and he’s been a huge part of the start of my success. He holds me accountable while showing empathy and having faith in my progress. He’s the best unplanned personal trainer and I highly recommend him as a personal trainer as long as you’re ready to trust the process and be all around consistent in meeting your goals.

A sincere thank you to UFC Gym Brea!

This gym is a very nice gym with good equipment, however I like going late at night to avoid crowds around 11pm and each time I try and use the sauna it's been off. I enjoy having a sauna session after a workout, but unfortunately that hasn't been possible. So if you like going to the gym at night just be aware that the sauna will not be available.

Nice gym horrible customer service. Castillo invited me to the gym for a free 3 day pass. After my workout, I checked in with him before I left. He insultingly proceeded to tell me he'd only let me in for the next day. I love the UFC, and was pretty much dead set on getting a membership. I wanted to go through my 3 day split before I made decision. I ended up leaving with a bad taste in my mouth and not coming back. Do better!!!!

Gym is still working out kinks, A/C was weak, was so hot. People are nice but can get very salesy and pushy about it. Plenty of space. They have many youth and kids program so there will be time they are seen around the first floor. Love the recovery room, but be prepared to wait, it's very busy, for Cryo take your gloves, ear covers, mask and socks, otherwise can't use it (for safety). Customer service isn't great. No response from the team,. They just bounce you around.

A brand new gym, not crowded, and great vibes! Bathrooms are clean and definitely worth it. Treadmills have a great view overlooking downtown Brea and they show UFC fights!

Love this gym but can’t get over the fact that their music playlist makes me feel like I’m at my 2006 middle school dance.

PT with Lutz!
"I had the privilege of working with Lutz to get back in shape, and it was an incredible experience. Not only did he tailor a program that suited my fitness goals, but he also welcomed my son to join us. Lutz's expertise, encouragement, and positive energy made every session a blessing. Highly recommend him for anyone seeking a dedicated and inspiring personal trainer!"

If you feel like taking your health and fitness to the next level, this is the only place to train at. Walking into Ufc Gym Brea is a feeling of being at home. The staff is unbelievable and the trainers and coaches are the best in the business. The feeling of excitement every morning waking up knowing you’re going to improve your fitness and health is what I feel every day. If you’re ready to take it to the next level this is the place to be!

We were so excited to have them in the community but unfortunately our experience with this gym was unpleasant.

My health insurance offers a membership at this location with a discount to encourage health and wellness. After visiting to register, management said they don't accept the program even though it is listed on the program website and I paid fees to add them. They later clarified they are working on getting this location out of the program.

My boyfriend and friends received a tour of the place as well and were left with the impression that they want to keep it exclusive. You can make of that what you will but to me it does not feel like they are truly here to serve all Brea residents.

I have been to many UFC gyms in Orange County, this one is the best! Erica is an amazing manager and great staff like Slava, total stud as far as customer service and keeping gym flow.

*will update in a few months*

I rotate between UFC Brea and the other locations throughout the week.

Pros:
Clean/new facility
All the *offerings* of a UFC Gym you'd expect
The best machines
Big bright windows
Lockers have combo codes

Cons:
Ball slams above the tiny, poorly ventilated yoga room
No privacy from the street in the yoga room
AC can't compete with big bright windows upstairs
Saunas aren't operational (no dates given on when-staff was pretty rude when I asked)
The locker room isn't complete yet (mirrors missing)
There are no storage benches upstairs to put things down
There are no mats for floor work
Valet parking???
The gym just doesn't have a personality.... yet.

I'm thrilled they're open now, regardless. Things will definitely improve. It's just hard to compare to La Mirada's staff and vibe at this juncture.

One of the nicest if not the NICEST gym in Brea and OC as a whole! Just signed up and was super impressed with both the atmosphere and staff. Had the privilege of signing up under manager Nelson and made the entire signing up process super easy and quick! When it comes to friendly staff and gym cleanliness I guarantee nobody does it better.

I am new to this gym and I have been lifting for a long time now and I go to all other commercial gyms, I must say this gym is a great place, I had a coach by the name of LUTZ help me out with my squat form and my knee pain and low back pain went away after working with him, as well as shoulder pain and back pain when I would bench. The Gym itself is clean and is really nice compared to some of the other mainstream gyms. All in all I would recommend this gym

Amanda is amazing, from day 1 she’s been nothing but helpful, and sweet. With a wedding coming up, everything has been super crazy and stressful so I’ve been living in the recovery zone. Probably one of the best gyms I’ve been apart of, and she has been one of the best staff members here.

UFC gym is for our Brea community who love a clean, friendly, knowledgeable, supportive and respectful environment to make the most of your life’s day! I could be at golds gym or fitness 19 to save money, but at an expense that is more valuable to me and that is health and a place I feel at home. I’m thankful the staff doesn’t rush me when I’m in the recovery room and I’m sorry to those waiting. But we can’t have both. I am willing to wait cause I know the person in front of me is getting the appreciation they deserve. Thank you UFC Brea staff for this opportunity me and my family have to be apart of yours!

Training with personal trainer, Rachel, she gets 5 stars 🌟 Attentive, professional and motivates you while teaching you correct posture and equipment use. Got me the supplies I was suppose to get during the sign-up. Takes care of her clients. Facility, gets 4 🌟 stars. Someone else mention there is a wait time for the recovery room, I agree. Clean since it's new. Spacious upstairs. I had to freeze my account and it was a HASSLE but eventually got taken care of.

They rushed the opening. The lockers are not done, showers and sauna still being completed in there. Long lines to use the recovery section because there is no one to check anyone in, the girl kept leaving the room and was gone for long periods chit chatting/flirting. The windows for privacy to use some of the recovery stuff are not done yet. The staff is too relaxed, it's cool to be chill but work is work. Some of the staff (girls) are seen chatting and giggle and as the customer I'm just standing there waiting to be helped/checked in. The place still has some house cleaning to do. It's annoying especially when I'm paying $130 / month. At times, there are a lot of annoying kids running around, especially in the locker rooms. The gym is spacious. Fun environment/music. Has great potential. I liked seeing designated staff cleaning the equipment's/constantly touched areas, and matts. Hygiene is a big deal for me, especially as a health care provider.

Nelson and Amanda are awesome! Other staff is amazing too, just haven’t met all by name. They are at least open and it’s an amazing clean gym. Things aren’t up to speed yet but everyone just needs to relax and enjoy the gym. It’ll get up to speed in due time. Grand opening was busy and a little hectic, but what do you expect? At least give the staff a couple weeks to make the gym ready to impress. Happy to be a part of this place.
