Very well kept clean gym. Plenty of Diverse equipment. The members are always curteous and polite . I’ve been a member here for about a year and a half and the staff are all so friendly and kind. The ladies locker room has a sauna and showers. It is really easy to maintain a set schedule here while predicting their busy hours .

Great gym! Super clean and has an awesome vibe. I usually train the 12 p.m. jiu-jitsu classes with Professor Gold — he’s incredible! I’ve been training jiu-jitsu for years, and his teaching stands out. He’s great at explaining the details, gives advanced tips that really make a difference, and keeps every class fun and challenging. I’ve been going to UFC gym for more than 5 years now and the employee Anthony is the worst thing to ever happen to the company. He was at the costa mesa location where all the couches i trained with told me not to deal with him because he has problems with his attitude and I thought that wouldn’t be a problem since im at HB now, but just earlier I walked in with my friend to workout where I find him at the counter
and he immediately resorted to “you cant be here” seconds after i scanned my barcode without checking anything on the screen as if he had a pent up problem, he said i can’t bring my friend cause I don’t have guest access which i replied with “he has a membership too” which he responded with “it doesnt matter it doesnt allow different locations you can have a good day though” so we walked out checked on our membership then walked back in to a sweet lady who checked both our memberships (due to his request) while he hid in the back making shakes. Ofcourse, turns out we both had valid memberships with no problems at all…

When I initially came here there was 2 open mats and a cage which was the entire appeal. They replaced the mats in the cage and they locked it. Now they have changed the mats on another area and wont allow anyone to use it. So the gym just changes the deal and gets mad if you go on the mats. If you want to spar or wrestle you will likely be shoulder to shoulder with other people on the only mat space you have. I always heard bad things about ufc HB but I figured enough time had passed and all the old things they were up to would have passed but I guess not. Also the classes are not very good if you wanna learn to fight go to a proper fight gym.

When I needed to freeze my account for personal reasons, Lydia Fonceca and DJ Paden went above and beyond to accommodate me. I stopped by today after a few months away, and Lydia quickly and kindly helped me get my membership sorted. She was amazing!

I have been a member at this gym since it opened and I have to say Coach Jordan Gold is one of the best coaches that me and my family have trained with. I’ve been taking kickboxing classes with Coach Jordan for over a year, and I can’t say enough great things about him as a coach. He’s been consistently showing up every Monday and Wednesday at 9am to train us, which I really appreciate — especially after having previous coaches who were unreliable.

He’s also super easy to engage with — whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, he makes everyone feel welcome and part of the class.

He genuinely cares about you getting your best workout in every session. He checks in and pushing you just the right amount. He’s encouraging and motivating, which makes it easy to stay committed, which makes it easy to stay committed, even on the days you don’t feel like showing up.

And without fail, I always get a great sweat in his class!

I love this place, I have been to many UFC gyms across the country and internationally, and have to say this is one of the best kept facility by far. Equipment are kept nice, good maintenance schedule, and good cleanliness. But what makes this place pop are the coaches. Coach Jordan, Coach Morgan, Coach Navarro, Coach Sebastian, and Coach Shohei are all different cups of tea/coffee/protein shake/straight up vodka, pick your own poison. I have to say Coach Jordan has to be my favorite because of his knowledge, patience, and approachability makes you feel like you are part of the UFC family. I know everyone trains for individual reasons, I appreciate coaches such as Coach Jordan making it feel like a family, except a family that chokes each other, so basically a normal family. Can’t say much about the management because I have limited interaction with them, I hear bits of complaints about them but I haven’t personally have anything to complain about, also it’s really hard to complain when you can’t breath. Anyway, whatever your goals are, this gym provides you with a place to train, and the coaches will provide you a roadmap to get there. Get in here, git gud.

Been going here for 2+ years and I highly recommend the noon Jiu Jitsu classes with coach Jordan Gold. All the instructors have been amazing but especially coach Jordan.

The workout stuff is solid too but I do wish they’d turn the music down. It’s so loud you can’t even enjoy your own music with noise cancelling headphones. It’s quiet in the class areas though. They should also add another cross cable machine. Other than that great gym with great people.

This is the dirtiest gym I have ever been too. I'm not one to post bad reviews, but I've brought up how dirty the men's bathrooms are multiple times at this point. Today I went in and there was poop all over one of the toilets. Toilet paper all over the ground of two of the stalls. It's 9:30 am. For how much money we spend at thos gym, it would be nice if it didn't look like poop and smell like urine every time I went to the locker room/bathrooms.

WARNING: UFC had a very deceptive banner type offer on there website on 6/26/25. Stating get a month free and pay 1 dollar enrollment. No fine print stating you need to pay last months dues. Just a surprise debit right from my account a few days later. Instead of apologize and immediately remove the charge Lydia stated send me a cancellation email and we will get you taken care of. That was a lie. She still hasn’t responded back six days later. This place is very deceptive and proved it with the horrible customer service and follow through Lydia accomplished. Just frauds holding on to money that doesn’t belong to them.

I initially left a 5 star review which I changed to 1 star before deleting. UFC gym scammed me, they charged my credit card for classes I didn’t sign up for -it was suppose to be a free boxing class but they charged my credit card on file even tho I never agreed to pay for any class on top if my membership. I was charged over and over again for classes I never signed up for, it was a “1 free boxing classes” offer that I accepted 1 time.

After I complained to corporate and leaving 1 star reviews, I was contacted by a manager and offered 1 month for free. I didn’t accept this, instead I deleted my 1 star review because I felt like they at least tried to resolve the issue -this was last year.

However, recently, other people I work out with expressed frustration over the exact same issue I experienced, leaving me to assume UFC gym has not changed their dishonest practice of outright stealing by charging your credit card on file for services they promised were free.

If you’re a member, and somebody offers you a “free” class, or free anything, don’t bite the bait, they will use this as an opportunity to steal from your credit card on file.

Extremely poor customer service. I came in hoping to try the free 3-day trial, as I’ve never been a member or had any record with this gym. Despite this, the staff insisted I wasn’t eligible and repeatedly refused to honor the trial. Instead of welcoming me or giving me a chance to explore the facility, they were aggressive and pushy, constantly trying to force a membership onto me. I felt completely unwelcome, dismissed, and pressured. This is not how a potential new member should be treated.

I recently joined UFC Gym in Huntington Beach, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! I have many memberships in Huntington Beach and so far this is my favorite. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, who truly make you feel like part of a community.

This locations is one of my favorite UFC gyms for so many reasons! Not only is it massive with tons of available equipment, but there’s food and drinks tons of assistance and staff when you need it, always free and fresh cold water as well as all of the Supplements or equipment you might need last minute. On top of that JC over and recovery always takes care of me and make sure that I am good to go after every workout! Buying the monthly recovery center package is definitely the best deal they have! I agreed (verbally) to pay $150 to sign up with a $60 monthly fee. Got charged $150 for the recurring fee. Asked why, was told they didn't charge me. Then their rep doubled back and said it was part of the contract I signed. I signed a stack of contracts with this gym. All of which were signed on a card reader. Otherwise, the gym is nice, but this is just unnacceptable business practice.

Edit 8/11/2023: spoke with the manager, got the payment issue resolved. Still irritated it was an issue to begin with. Changed from 1 to 4 stars. The quality of the gym is excellent, and consistently clean in the 2 months I've used it. Also it's one of the few local gyms open at 3am.

Extremely HOSTILE and Confrontational Sales Manager Michael. He needs to learn a thing or 2 about sales and customer service. I have never been inside a UFC gym and was legitimately curious to know all their memberships and what they include/prices/promos etc as I was interested in joining. I've been a member of the UFC Huntington Beach gym, and I absolutely love it! The staff is fantastic, especially Trent, who is always ready to help with any questions about the weight machines, classes, or recommending the right coach based on your needs. I really enjoy how clean and kind the service is here but the music is repetitive. I hear the same hour mixes over and over again really loud. So loud I can't even ignore it with my head phones and not one quiet place in the whole gym. There isn't many options in machines to workout on, some are noisy and just don't make sense. The cleaning lady is uncomfortable to be around and pushy when your in her way. 24 hour is dirty and moldy so I have to settle for UFC.

Great clean gym and awesome staff. My only two complaints are (1) their billing system sometimes continues to bill after cancellations, I’m still waiting on a $500+ refund after a year, and (2) I signed up for a promotion years ago where it was re-stated that the promotional membership rate wouldn’t change. I’m still paying an amazing rate but it’s since increased twice and I don’t believe customers have the means to access account contracts through a portal.

Other than that, the community is unmatched and very kid/family friendly.

BEWARE Read California law on "Contracts for Health Studio Services" if these grifters evade cancellation requests

I retrieved a copy of my agreement through the member portal to find out how to cancel but the contract did not contain this information which is required by law. So I called UFC gym Huntington Beach and their billing company but both refused and continued billing me for future services, saying the past due amount must be paid first despite my membership being month-to-month. Billing was not stopped and my request to cancel was not acknowledged until I personally delivered a cancellation letter. By this point the "past due" amount was higher and was sent to collections.

If my contract would have contained the basic provision required by law explaining my right to cancel via letter or email (yes you can cancel via email), all of this would have been avoided.

Was self checking myself into the gym and this guy got extremely hostile out of nowhere. He didn’t let me finish sign in and pulled the clipboard from me.

Got harassed and creeped out by the late night employee who started recording me while changing and getting ready in the bathroom.

The young Hispanic man passing out cards for free access yesterday, in Huntington Beach for this UFC gym needs humbling. He was arrogant and based on that interaction I'd never join any UFC gym. I'm a second generation Thai Boxer/ Nak Muay. I've been in and out of gyms for thirty years, taught classes internationally, competed in my craft and been involved in gyms my whole life. Don't have an attitude because someone doesn't want to give you their personal information and snatch things from people. This gym is a bad environment. If you want a real gym or martial arts experience go elsewhere. I don't think Razor Rob Mcollugh would be very pleased.

I have been coming to this gym for years. I like all their machines and classes. I also love that it's one of the few gyms that is 24 hours because I usually work out at night. However, the night shift person who is dark skinned is very unfriendly. I try greeting him and nodding my head, but he usually just stares at me back without nodding or saying 'welcome' back. It seems very hostile and very awkward to come in.

Went there a month ago asking for a youth program for my son. I met with Julian Buran he is NOT honest at all. Told us to pay for two months for try and if my son doesn’t enjoy the program we can cancel anytime without paying any annual fees. Julian also refused to give us the paperwork when we sign and doesn’t send us any email with the policy or anything. My son doesn’t like it from the first try so we asked them to cancel, we surprised as they charge us for 2 months + annual fees. We went to the manager ( Fridy) he said it doesn’t worth it, yes it doesn’t worth it for you because it’s in your pocket but it does worth for me because it’s out of my pocket and for no services. Also, told him to make complaint so he took my number just to end the conversation and did nothing. Fridy also asked us if we want the policy through email after we canceled 😠. How smart they are!!

I have been a member since this gym opened. Previously, I worked out at the UFC gym in HB off Edinger before they moved. Can't say enough about the staff. Always freindly and helpfull. Lots of positive energy in the air. Trainers are very experienced and motivating. I have trained with Jamie Fletcher and Richie Mungia going on 10 years. Both excellent coaches. They make the sessions fun while getting a great workout. They are very knowegable and constantly look for new drills to do. They are role models for other trainers. I love that it's not a super crazy busy gym so I can get in and get out with whatever I need. The boxing and kickboxing classes are intense and definitely worth it. Each member gets one complimentary private lesson and whatever it is that you want to learn. Even your first cryo is complementary. We've been going here a few months now and really feeling good about making the switch from 24 Hour Fitness to UFC Huntington Beach

Coaches are the best here, however, management is horrible. Too bad Jessy left. charged my daughters account late fee even though she is under family account with same credit card, she is under 18, under my husbands account and he has valid credit card on file. Raised her membership fee by 7$ just because (mine and my husbands went up by 2$, hers - by 7$). Elaine - financial manager - never called me as I requested. I have to call her several times. When you ask for her you have to give your name, reason for the call - made me thinking - who is the client/priority here?
No one told us when we were at the gym about issues with the payment. I am not the only one having issues with payments/overcharges. They always refer you to corporate. If you have such a limited management power why do you even have management on site? We had 3 gym memberships since they opened this location and it’s very sad how they care about recruiting new members (who will obviously pay more) and don’t care about your loyal customers.

This gym is the most dishonest gym and company I've come accross. The sales reps are desperate for sales and have no honor code. After cancellation this gym will reopen or somehow continue charging your card or running an ACH transaction. I've found random UFC charges random months in the past two years. I've had to file a chargeback and file a claim with my financial institution to try to get months of unapproved charges back. They've stolen a few hundreds of dollars from my account.

Honestly , I say this to everyone, but they’re there only gym that really stood up to California’s ridiculous Covid policies, and they’re the only gym that is open 24 hours … (4 days a week)… better equipment, no dumb “lunk” alarm like some gyms. It’s designed to actually get you results, with a competitive spirit.

Again, can not thank them enough for staying open these past 2 years, and for striving to keep at least one part of my life normal.

Yes it’s more expensive. But look at anyone who goes there… they’re all normal people who have abnormal results because the environment created makes you a better athlete.

Decent gym if the sauna wasn’t broken like once a week . When they do “fix” it, the sauna is broken within days . Why do I pay premium price to go here and not all the amenities work properly.

So I noticed a lot guys in the locker room wearing swastika tattoos. This is offensive especially considering that I’m Jewish and my great grandparents escaped persecution in WW2. It seems this is the culture of people coming to this gym. Also I noticed these same groups of people using intimidation to other gym members. The more time I spend here the more I notice a culture of prison dominance being used by these groups.

In between Equinox and 24 hour fitness type of gym. It’s a nice gym with good equipment to get your glow up. The equipment, specifically treadmills, can use an upgrade as some of them are no longer operational. Despite that, the true gem of the gym are the trainers and members that take healthy living seriously. It motivates me to do that much more.

Honestly a beautiful location. Been in a few times and never had an issue waiting for equipment. The prices are a bit much monthly HOWEVER, the facility to me is worth it. You get what you pay for. A clean gym, great selection of equipment, friendly staff (unless you're rude yourself, then you get what you get). I've been in over 12 gyms locations throughout my career and this is one of the top. Like any gym there will issues but they seem on top of member concerns.

fees and charges so many cancelation process is like pulling off your toenails.. they refuse and hope you forget so they can just keep blasting your card. I understand the good reviews because it was a great place to work out i really enjoyed a lot of the stuff they did. but this cancelation process is the worst type of contract i've ever been a part of.. Most places if you don't pay they shut off your membership right away and you cant use it. Not here they start hitting you with late fees and i'm sure eventually would send you to a collection agency... I have enough things to stress about moving out of state than to have to deal with this kind of malicious contract.

Not only did they take over a year to get me a shirt that I ordered but the gym is way too expensive they also make you pay for an auxiliary gym because they can’t use the inside and the professionalism of the management is close to zero… There are about 15 other gyms in the area that are a third of the price I would look elsewhere first

Last year, UFC HB messed up on my billing and overcharged me $25. Instead of refunding me in the original payment form, they told me they were going to give me $25 credit to use at the gym. Where is the credit now? I have no clue.... because they won't honor it.

2 weeks ago, I went online and saw that they were offering a $1 down, $29/month for one club access. I registered for a free trial the next day to see how it is after opening since COVID-19. I came in to sign up on Friday and Joe said that the price was a mistake and that I wasn't supposed to see that $29/month on the website.

Joe asked if me I was looking for a $29/month membership at UFC and I replied yes. Then he proceeded to let me know in a demeaning manner that "There is a Planet Fitness down the street for $20. That's something that you can do." If you've changed your prices, fine. But Joe did not have to be insulting and rude. I came to this gym because I thought it was nice with great vibes and people but Joe completely ruined that for me.

As a sales associate, he could have been more professional and not SPITEFUL in the way he spoke to me just because I came in asking about the one club membership that was ADVERTISED on the website.

Joe, a sales assistant manger here, decides to give me a call to ask if I wanted to come in and check out the gym. I nicely responded, "no thank you," only to get him to hang up on me without another word. On top of my previous experience here, I'm beginning to question the professionalism that this gym upholds. Highly NOT recommended unless you would like to be disrespected at this gym with rude and unprofessional sales rep.

UFC gym in Huntington Beach is an incredible environment not only to work out in but to be in. The staff is all excellent and very fit themselves . The shakes and healthy food selection at the arm bar is top notch. All of The weights are quality and the upstairs area is the icing on the cake . They have a UFC octagon , Jacobs ladder , multiple different forms of cardio HIIT training and more. Best gym ever .

They have a kids club but also kids jiu-jitsu which is really great. I can get my workout in while my son does something worthwhile and affordable. The gym has everything including food and smoothies and the staff are great people. They've got every base covered from Olympic lifting stands, boxing classes, a full BJJ school, showers, special events and contests. There are closer gyms to me, but I really like this place.

I went to the UFC Gym during the Christmas Holiday Season 2019 to purchase a two year family membership ( 5 people) for a Christmas gift. However upon entering the gym I witnessed a sales team member, named "TK", treat two other visitors with such disrespect. He was devoid of any professionalism, and actually was hostile and aggressive. I was appalled at his behavior. I have heard many incredible reports about the quality of this gym, but if TK reflects the caliber of the staff I am very disappointed. I could not support such a center. I left purchased my gift membership for my entire family at Equinox of Huntington Beach. First impressions go a long way and this season UFC lost my business due to their sales member "TK." Please provide better training to your staff.

This is far the best Gym ever in OC!!! everyone under the guidance of GM DJ, are loving life, the members are all serious athletes and very professional, returning weights to racks, when finished returning everything to the proper places... it's such a pleasure to see the professionalism that the gym attracts
the coaches are friendly and willing to help.. you need to ask them, they don't get into anyones business unless asked

The UFC gym in Huntington Beach is awesome. They have a huge facility with state of the art equipment. It never feels crowded even though there are a lot of people working out. They have great classes and the instructors are amazing. I highly recommend joining the UFC gym in HB if you are looking into joining a gym.
