Joined this UFC Gym two months ago now. First time ever joining a gym. Looked at others in the area and this one felt like home when we walked in. Been going strong, up to 5 days a week now, and at different times of the day and I really like the vibe. Other patrons are generally friendly. The gym is always in use, but never crowded. I never wait long to use any of the equipment.

Lots of machines and free weights (which is what I wanted). There are bags and some other equipment available. Lockers are available with showers and a dry sauna for use as well. Lots of TVs with different sports playing all day long. There is even an interesting recovery room (which I haven't used but has things like percussion massage, hydroMassage beds, compression massage, and cryotherapy). There is a station for a massage therapist, but I haven't seen one on staff since I joined.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been a lump for far too many years and even hire one of the trainers to get me back on the fitness wagon. Francis has been instrumental in this new journey for me.

They offer group classes for all sorts of activities and even have some kids classes (so you can work out while they are 'training'). By name, I expected to see a lot of MMA/UFC-style training (there is some), but that doesn't seem to be this gym's only focus.

Music is a bit loud, but most everyone has headphones or earbuds. I feel like I could ask for music changes if I really wanted, but most of the time the "D.J." is playing fast-paced music (which I think is good for a workout).

I like this gym and their current staff. I was asked to write a review on my second week (3rd day actually using the gym), but I wanted to give it some real time to see how it worked out for me... and I'm not disappointed.

Constant billing issues. Signed up for their $15 a month as I have other gym memberships. They started charging me $25 a month, instead. The friendly girl said she would request a refund for the difference for the 2 charged months, nothing. Canceled and so did my son.

I can’t say enough good things about this UFC Gym. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and motivated. The coaches are knowledgeable, professional, energetic, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your goals, whether it’s fitness, technique, or overall health. The facility is always clean, well-equipped, and has a great atmosphere that pushes you to give your best.
What really stands out is the sense of community, everyone from beginners to advanced athletes feels supported here. Training is always challenging but fun, and I leave stronger and more excited. This gym by far is one of the most poorly managed gyms that l have ever belonged to.
The staff is extremely unfriendly and does not greet you or acknowledge your existence. In many cases working out becomes a dangerous situation with small children running around in the work out area unattended while those that are focusing on working out have to dodge the children. Focus is very difficult as the music is so loud that it's distorted and even with the best earbuds you cannot avoid the terrible sound.
Annual dues are hiked up every year without any notification which seems very deceptive.
It's unfortunate that this gym is run so poorly!!

I came into UFC Gym thinking I was just going to check out the facility… then I met Alicia. This woman is a total rockstar. She’s not your typical pushy salesperson — she’s all heart. She listened to my goals, walked me through the programs, and somehow made me feel like I already belonged here before I even signed up.

But the real surprise? The anti-bullying program for kids. The coach (seriously, the guy is amazing) has this incredible way of connecting with the kids — teaching them confidence, respect, and real self-defense skills without any intimidation. You can tell he cares deeply about every single student. My kid left the first class standing taller and smiling bigger.

The whole gym has this positive, uplifting energy. It’s not just about punching bags or lifting weights — it’s about building strength inside and out. If you want a place that pushes you physically AND fills your cup emotionally, this is it.

I had a great time, as soon as I got in I saw that everyone in there was focused on building a better version of themselves, the vibe was very hardworking and everyone was working out, Cynthia this one crew worker was very genuine, polite, and shows lots of ambition for what she does. I was helped by Roberto and Armando, they were both very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. The staff is really helpful as well. I did a 3 day pass and it was a fast and easy process. These guys have changed the direction of this gym. I used to go here when it was crunch.. this is day and night difference. First, it’s 24/7 now.. that’s incredible. This is near my house, it’s clean, nice colors, the music is pumping. Idk who I talked to but there was this huge dude sitting in a chair.. I only came in for a day pass, I’ve been waiting for a gym to actually want my business. I couldn’t say no to the guy he made me an incredible offer. New to the area and have already benefited from the small crowd size, clean equipment and sense of community here at this gym. Everyone is welcoming here and the amenities are second to none (especially in love with the cryochamber). I have worked out early in the morning and late in the afternoon, and can honestly say that if you’re looking for a gym that offers a size-able weightlifting section, friendly personal trainers and state of the art recovery equipment- then look no further than the UFC gym at Murrieta.

I was a member of this gym when it was previously CRUNCH Fitness. Since being taken over by UFC, they've done a GREAT job upgrading the facility and bringing in a lot more wellness and recovery options! Cryo, IR sauna, Normatec, massage therapy, and so much more. The staff is great, Moises and crew not only do an amazing job keeping the facility clean, but are also always available to help wherever needed. Super friendly staff, clean facilities, tons of classes for all ages and skillsets. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to UFC for a year now and at no point does this gym disappoint. I have been training with Coach Ray, one of the master trainers and although personal training is alittle pricey, it is the best investment in myself I have ever made. Coach Ray goes above and beyond for his clients just as all the other trainers do. I struggled with my blood work for 15 years and Coach Ray helped me fix it in one year. He knows what he is talking about and takes the time to cater to everyone’s circumstances. I couldn’t imagine how my life would be without making this commitment to myself and getting involved in the best gym in the city. HIIT Classes, kickboxing, Jiujitsu classes, yoga, Zumba, they even have classes for our youth to be involved. My niece is so excited to be starting classes soon. Don’t believe what I have to say? Look at my transformation. I struggled with my body image for so long but with the help of Coach Ray, the personal training program, and the other coaches/staff, I finally feel confident and comfortable in my body. 5 stars is all I can give but this gym deserves more than that because they practice what they preach in every way. If I had to do it all over, I would still choose UFC Gym Murrieta over any other gym. Thank you UFC murrieta for giving me my confidence back and giving me my life back.

The switch from Crunch to UFC helped me reach more of my goals of increasing the cardiovascular and physical strength needed for my line of work through their HIIT classes. All of the classes and trainers that lead them are highly motivating, and there is a fun atmosphere of comradery and support among all of the fellow members that come.

Customer service, professionalism, and sneaky tactics to get payment by any means. The gym facility itself is amazing, Here is a warning to everyone, even though you communicate to the staff about a payment you are going to make that you missed and to please not run the card due to the funeral you were attending for a close family member across the country that depleted you of funds, they will still run your card. They will run $5 dollar payments on your card until the card declines or the payment is satisfied even though you had told them you will be making the full payment when you get paid in 6 days. In this economy I had $12 to my name to last me 6 days until I got paid. They do not care that you are on a fixed income or dealing with disabilities as long as they get paid obviously. SO lessoned learned on my part. They really don't care about your situation, only your money. I spoke will 5 different people to include my account being noted of my payment situation and still didn't matter. Looking at some of the previous reviews, you can see that customer service and customer care lacks at this gym.

I initially had high hopes when I joined UFC Gym, especially since I referred some friends to join with me. However, after spending some time as a member, my experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

The cancellation process is an absolute nightmare. They make it extremely difficult to cancel—getting through on the phone feels like an obstacle course, and they keep redirecting me to different people or departments. To make things worse, they claimed I made a late payment, which I didn’t, seemingly to complicate my cancellation. On top of that, I was told I’d get a call back, but that never happened.

What’s even more frustrating is that you can’t cancel verbally—everything has to be done through written notice, which wasn’t made clear from the start.

The gym itself also falls short of expectations. It’s not set up like a real MMA gym and feels more like a commercial fitness center. I was excited when I first joined and even referred friends, but after this experience, I wouldn’t recommend UFC Gym to anyone.

We got forced to transfer to this location from Temecula. There's not even close to the amount of amenities that Temecula had. We wanted to cancel the membership, UFC wouldn't let us and prorate back the money. On top of that, one of our contracts for a year expired in February, they charged us in April for the yearly 50 dollar fee and didn't return the money. The other contract that UFC said they cancelled so we won't be charged the fee? Yeah, still got that 50 dollar charge back in September. We were told we could transfer the membership to a family member but that it was cancelled. Bunch of liars and money grabbers for a company who promised one thing, forced a move and undersold the amenities. Avoid at all costs.

I used to work out at the UFC Gym Temecula but they closed down and reopened in Murrieta. I wasn’t sure if I would like it--especially since the new location was a little farther from me and there was lots of construction going on at the beginning. But now the construction at the gym is complete, it looks very nice. I attended the grand opening at the beginning of this month and was very impressed when I was told I was getting a chance to try out the new amenities. There was a sauna, a tanning booth, and I tried IV treatments. Next time I’m going to try out the CryoTherapy.

I've had a great experience with UFC Gym in Murrieta. I purchased a training session about a few months ago. At first, I was a little skeptical because I've never been into fitness but recently I've become very health conscious and wanted to start losing weight and eating healthier in order to live a longer life. I've managed to lose a few pounds and even purchased vitamins at the front desk. RUN AWAY. I used to have a membership when this location was Crunch Fitness, but I paid off my membership and cancelled it June 2023 (which was a mess in itself, Crunch was being run like a scam - they actually OVER-charged me for what I owed, but I was just relieved to be done with it). Suddenly I got emails and texts in March 2024 from UFC Gym, who took over this location, that my account is past due and in collections. After a few weeks of back-and-forth with UFC Gym’s manager, she assured me the account would be removed from collections and my membership (which never should have existed) would be cancelled. I JUST got a text from UFC Gym that I have an account in collections for a past due amount. I have never been a member of UFC Gym, I cancelled my membership with Crunch over a year ago. This place is also being run like a scam, I don’t understand how my membership has STILL not been cancelled and this overdue amount, which should not exist, has not been resolved after dealing with 2 different managers over almost a year and a half.

I am writing this review in order to warn people of this gym . I used to be a member of this gym almost a year ago before they moved locations . On September 3rd of 2024 I was charged a fee of 768 dollars to my account due an error from an employee. This was an old charge from over a year ago that due to an employee error was recharged. I became aware of this charge on September 4th to where I immediately called the gym for a refund . They have claimed to issue the refund and it would take 3-5 business but it is now over that time and no one is able to tell me when I will get this money refunded to my account. I have spoken to multiple employees with very little help. However when speaking with Tod today and expressing my concerning he laughed at me over the phone . This gym lacks integrity and is not a place I would tell anyone I know to join . They practice shady business and when an error occurs they do very little to make it right in a timely manner . Please be careful signing up for this gym .

This place is a total scam. My husband and son had a membership at the Temecula location, which was very close to our house. They had paid for a two-year membership in full paying thousands of dollars! They moved to a new location which is 20 minutes from us and we were offered no refund of any sort. The thing that I am the most upset about is that we were both each charged $59 fees. And we have haven’t even stepped foot in their gym for over a year! We tried calling them and letting them know that we would like these fees to be removed and they absolutely were not agreeable. This is absolutely the worst customer service that I ever seen, and we will be reporting it to the Better Business Bureau unless refund our annual fees for a membership at Jim that we have never been to!!

I liked Crunch, and I love UFC even more. All of the classes are a step up. Each and every one of the coaches is motivating and knowledgeable. I love them all - Yoga, Jiu-Jitsu, Zumba, and Kickboxing Conditioning & Technique, but the High Intensity Interval Training - HIIT Classes are my absolute favorite and what the doctor ordered to keep myself in top physical fitness to be able to work hard in my late 40's and to Play Harder. Having 3, 4, or 5 classes to choose from every day works well with my life's busy ever-changing schedule. I love the owner/operator vibe. It feels like one big family, and there is extra care and touches to everything about it. The ol' Crunch members and the UFC members are all so welcoming and friendly. Everybody motivates each other to work towards our goals from wherever we are in our journey. Now, if the city would get crack'n on those building permits, this place will really be dialed in, which by the looks of things moving along finally, like the big saunas and some esthetics, we'll be there in two quick shakes of a lambs tail. The competitions held periodically throughout the year are really cool extra boosts that help me move along the tract towards reaching my goals. The whole recovery room is awesome, and the new electric Cryotherapy is so quick and convenient. Compression is still my favorite. The kids' HIIT, Jiu-jitsu, and MMA classes are full of awesome healthy kids for mine to play with and grow in strength, coordination, and cardio. Plus, the sometimes overlapping kids' classes, with mine, make it very convenient to kill two birds with one stone, and both get stronger and healthier, simultaneously. All good in the neighborhood! I could go on and on, but we all need good sleep, and I need mine sonthat I can be ready for more classes mañana. Form good habits of health. Stay active, be positive, and enjoy life with all those around you 🫶🏽

I love coming to UFC Gym Murrieta. The staff are amazing and make coming to work out more than just coming to exercise. They are wonderful people who go far beyond to help others feel welcome—it truly becomes a very uplifting experience. I also come for their Recovery Room, which includes Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, Bemer, compression (good for the lymphatic system), tanning, and massage. Well, it was fine when they were at Temecula location but, everything went down the pipe when moved to Murrieta. I made a contract for 2 years plus maintenance every year for over $55 and I told I think his name was Armando that I will use the Sauna only. But he lied to me because he didn’t tell me that they are going to moved so about 6 months I’m not going to Murrieta because they are saying the fire department not providing the permit to open the sauna. They stole my money 💰as a disabled combad veteran it’s not fair.

The absolute worst. Crunch Murrieta closed, and UFC opened, and automatically charged all previous Crunch members without their permission (and nothing in the Crunch contract allows for this). Their manager Ana George has a vile attitude and won’t even talk to customers about billing anymore, meaning they’re doing this to multiple people, and threatening collections.

Terrible ethics. Terrible attitudes.
Dishonest. Angry staff. Give your money to honest people, as a community let’s not reward these people.

Bad customer service, this Gym is not cancel the membership anytime as they say, that isn’t true very careful when you have to cancel it, at the beginning the service is good to get you in and then is a nightmare, a lot problems, double charges no one responds. If you want to cancel the membership you have to wait for one more month, or more like in my case I canceled it in the front desk the lady told me it was canceled and I got my last day to use the gym, but she lied never canceled it and leave it open so I got a new charge, I called, sent emails complaining, they only ask for a cancellation confirmation, they never sent any confirmation, I cancelled in person, by phone and emails after many complaints finally they sent a confirmation, to me all this is a trick and lack of honesty, this place is too small, bad energy, especially the front desk ladies who have been working in there for a lot of time they are the worst, I don’t recommend this gym to anyone.

I am so glad this gym exist near my house. I have went to several other gyms in the area and UFC and even more specifically the Murrieta location is the best gym experience I’ve ever had. Gym is small, equipment doesn't work properly, weights are scattered. I bought a 2 year membership when gym was at the Temecula location. The place was big, there was enough equipment and machines and not crowded. They also had a heated swimming pool and lockers where big and clean.
There was never a mention of gym moving lications.
This new location is a joke, place is small and smells bad, no pool, and they merged the old gym members.
I tried asking for my membership money back and was told they don't do refunds.

I came here for better service; now after they moved to new location, they don't have sauna (has one if you pay for recovery membership). I already paid for everything, why more. If you can’t provide the same service, you received money for, simply refund people's money. Or speed up your process, do your remodeling, fix your sauna and other facilities you got paid for.

It's saddening, the Temecula site was a terrific gym. Then they shut it down and moved with pretty much a week's notice. They opened it up the new one right away, and it's been a good 2.5 months now and still not great. The new gym is not nearly as spacious as before and feels less clean. They cut what feels like 1/4 of the equipment. The bathroom has been under remolding this whole time - wet paper towels just left on the counter to unspool.

It's fine if you never went to the previous site, but this just feels like such a downgrade and done in a shady way. So you'll probably see a lot of reviews reflect this.

Moving 2->3, bathrooms finally have soap/paper towel dispensers so they aren't as gross anymore.

Im doing 5 star rating for one person in particular and that was Coach Lat. He was very friendly and honest with me. I did sports massage sessions with him and it helped me tremendously! My body seriously needed it with the amount of physical work I do day to day. He is very knowledgeable and curteous while doing his work with me. It's unfortunate that he isn't there anymore, but he was one of the best people I met at this facility.

Truth is yes, the other reviews are on point with this facility's issues. Its got alot to work on and get figured out. If I rated this facility without Coach Lat in mind, it gets a 3/5 star for currently where its at; its gotta get its construction stuff finished and should be more accommodating to helping members with cancelling memberships and whatnot.

Got scammed by the owners of UFC Gym. Signed up with top package for Temecula location that is equiped with everything my wife and I need. A few days later I received a notice that the Temecula Gym was closing and moving 25 minutes away
The new location does not have the same ammenities. When I signed up they knew they were closing that location and did not disclose that. This equates to a scam. Don't waste your money with these owners, they don't deserve it. Sign up fees were over $350 and they feel it's right to keep that money even though they did not disclose the location was closing.

Now they are having employees and their friends leave fake reviews to get the numbers up. Again another SCAM

UPDATE: canceled this membership months ago and today they charged my account $486. These people are criminals. Will be reporting them. Stay clear of these people.

Not a good run business already. Daughter signed up for gym and cancelled for months later. I made her call and cancel with me in the room as I know gyms are hard to cancel. Two months later after cancelling they are still saying we haven't cancelled. Multiple other people I know in same situation. Very scammy!

I was a former crunch member, it was a little bumpy transition for me, but i’m happy now. Even though I do miss the trainers & my workout crew from crunch, I’m enjoying the HIIT & Boxing classes at UFC. On Saturday they have the best Zumba class with Christina at 10am. Their staff is friendly & helpful. The owners are nice & want to continue to make it better. I love their recovery room with an infrared sauna, cryo, compression & a bemer mat. The members are all nice too.

This gym keeps bothering me and threatening to send me to collections even though I canceled the week of their takeover of crunch gym - to which they provided SAME DAY notice of the takeover. What used to be Crunch fitness is now UFC Gym Murrieta. They bought out all the contracts from Crunch and have only increased the most terrible customer service I've ever received. I work in Sales and if this is how they will be conducting business as new owners in Murrieta, they are going to have a horrible reputation in this area and the social media posts everywhere show how pissed this community is. This gym had a location in Temecula but relocated to Murrieta with very little notice. This has caused the new location to be near inaccessible. UFC Fit did not take into account the high amount of traffic in Temecula and Murrieta which changed my 5 minute drive to a 30+ minute trip if I were to go at the times that work with my job. The new location has less amenities and the machines are crammed together in a much smaller location. I feel sorry for those who payed for year long subscriptions to classes at this gym.

UFC gym abruptly relocated from Temecula with zero notice for its patrons. Had to informally find out through other patrons. Very shady. Not the way any business should be ran. Also hearing from other members/friends that new location is no where near the quality of the former location. So my family joined Esporta Temecula and Dan Henderson gyms instead. No regrets so far.

I’m usually not the type to write a review about ANYTHING. BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE SUCKS. I have never in my life experienced such rude staff and such contradictory refund policies. This place is a scam and I did not agree to any of this. I tried to cancel my membership over the phone and the lady wouldn’t let me because they didn’t have any of my billing information in the system. I call back and they said they needed a 21 day notification fee. I’m never ever coming back here again. I used to enjoy working out now I don’t even feel comfortable going in because of how bad the staff is and the continuous reconstruction in the women’s restrooms. There was male construction workers in there when I was in the bathroom. All they had was watered down soap and paper towels. This place and the staffs attitude is DISGUSTING.

Very disappointed with the entire experience at UFC fit. The original location in Temecula was adequate but poorly maintained.

Then, without sufficient warning or notice they moved to another city (Murrieta) effectively making my membership useless. That's fine, I can deal with inconvenience but then to refuse a refund request of my remaining term just shows UFC corporate and the new franchise owner to be operating under unethical business practices.

As a former crunch member, I went in to this UFC gym to see what it was all about only to be greeted by a young lady with hickeys on her neck, staff cursing left and right something I’m not used to being a crunch member. I made it clear I was no longer going to be a part of that gym. I have never signed up for UFC but I keep getting calls that they are trying to charge my account for a membership I did not join. I found that to be very dishonest on their part, the woman in charge of calling members back never called me I’m very disappointed. Disestablishment has come to Murrieta a family oriented town. They just took over my gym a few months ago. I haven't been receiving their emails so I didn't get the email about my annual fees. I was planning on ending my membership but had to wait till my year was up. Today they took the funds out of my account. I went in to cancel and a refund and they refused to refund anything. What happened to customer service. They told me they sent emails and it wasn't their fault that they had input my email wrong but I signed paperwork so they will not refund my 100.00. I recommend you not using UFC gyms.

Ufc Gym Murrieta has exceeded my expectations, as a former crunch member I was a little hesitant when I heard that we would belong to new ownership. The gym is clean and the equipment was upgraded. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Don't believe all of the negative reviews! They gave me the chance to try out all of the classes free of charge and have to say that I will be signing up for the Boxing and Hiit classes when my next paycheck hits.

The atmosphere is great! I love the music and the overall vibe. If you are looking for a gym that will motivate you to work out this is it! These people are some of the best scam artists of our time. They sold us a $2500 family deal for 3 years and changed locations within 6 months and no refund. The new gym is over a 30 minute drive and doesn’t have the kids area, swimming pool/jacuzzi, the cryotherapy, or steam room. has construction going on (the walls are literally not done and we have no soap dispensers in the men’s bathroom). The gym is at least a third the size of the previous one.

The owners of this place who have these shady business practices should be ashamed of who they are as human beings. I hope the couple thousand dollars you made off of scamming us made you happy.

Also, don’t listen to the 5 star reviews. They are fake accounts.

Paid for membership upfront for my family of 4. Now they have moved to a new location not in my city. I have met the "New" owner of that location, I am pretty sure he didn't own the Temecula location,,,,,,,,From my understanding they (UFC) are not offering refunds for members who paid upfront on the local(gym location) level or corporate. Even though they no longer offer crucial services like child care, a pool, a steam room etc..... Or simply moved out of your city. This is actually how class action lawsuits get started. Once a lawyer gets wind that theres a large group of people that are having this issue with UFC gym, things will happen where UFC will wish they would have done the right thing and offered their customers the chance for a refund because of the move.

Parents had just signed up for the child care with membership were taken advantage of. If you do sign up, do it monthly on a card you can cancel.Remember you can always file a claim with your bank. Joined the Temecula location and paid three years in advance. They moved to Murrieta suddenly without even informing the members and there's no childcare, pool or hot tub at the new location. They also haven't gotten a jiujitsu instructor to stick since the old professor quit in the beginning of the year and basically treat jiujitsu students like trash even though it's their largest and most regular class. The new location is trash and they cancelled my husband's membership without his permission or even telling him. Do NOT join this gym. It's a SCAM.

Paid for 2 years in full.The reason I bought this membership is because it was very close to my house. It is now 10 miles away, and completely negates the reason why I got the membership in the first place. I was also upsold by Armando 3 training sessions. I was in a bad car accident a few years ago, and have rods in my back. He informed me that he had the perfect trainer for me, and he used to rehab NFL players. The 2nd session the trainer had me do an exercise, and I informed him I didn't think it was a good idea due to my previous injuries. He said I would be just fine, and ended up getting re injured as I thought would be the case. 0/10 especially since it is one of the most expensive gyms in the area.

I would give zero stars if I had the option. UFC Fit relocated from Temecula to CalOaks with zero notice of a location change to all of its members. They also removed kids club with zero notice. Upon attempting to cancel my membership I was charged an entire month of fees, and told that there’s nothing that can be done about this. I paid a month worth of fees and cannot even attend the new location due to it being too far away and having no child care facility. UFC Fit has scammed multiple members and charged us unnecessarily when we cannot even attend the new location. I would not recommend whatsoever.
