Recently rejoined UFC Rosemead at the beginning of this year. I am so glad I rejoined this gym because as soon as I started coming back I was reminded of the positive culture all around. I started training with Coach Fernando after a long break off from exercising. From day one, he took the time to understand my personal goals and created a plan that fit my needs—including a tailored workout routine and a meal plan to support my progress.

The workouts started at a beginner level, which was perfect for where I was at the time. Over time, the intensity increased in just the right way to keep me challenged and growing stronger. Every session is different, which keeps things exciting and pushes me in ways I never thought possible.

Coach Fernando has been incredibly supportive throughout the entire journey. Thanks to his guidance, I've lost almost 40 lbs and feel stronger, healthier, and more confident than ever.

Do not send your family members to this gym. I got the children’s boxing coach Paolo fired for being sexually inappropriate towards the underaged male students. The General Manager Andrew banned me for exposing his boxing program. The HR staff member Lacy fired Paolo under a different pretext then held a fake investigation clearing Andrew and the boxing staff.

Aside from the top of the line equipment, clean environment, and overall friendly staff just wanted to shoutout the manager who signed my boyfriend and I up with a membership. Andrew let us have a week to try out the gym, and when it came time to sign up he discussed all options and never pressured us into anything we didn’t need. Because my bf and I always work out together we opted for the middle tier plan that includes a guest, so we essentially got 2 memberships for the price of one. I always feel comfortable here and my bf is excited to try out all the classes they have to offer. Definitely worth it for us- plus saunas are amazing!!

Was there a good portion of Last week on a guest pass and I gotta say LADIES AVOID! there was this one trainer who would not stop looking at me and just gave the ick. He then tried to tell me my form was bad or I should do it like this or something I ignored him. Latino guy with a beard. I could see him looking at me the whole time Saturday that I was there. Just total creep vibes from him. Plus the restrooms smelled weird like they hadn't been cleaned in a few days. Like I said LADIES AVOID!

This is a great local gym. It is large and has plenty of equipment. Their busiest times tend to start around 5pm on the weekdays.
They have plenty of sanitizing stations throughout the gym if you are interested in wiping down the equipment pre or post use. The equipment is in good shape and are rarely down for maintenance.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and having a smoothie bar inside is a nice perk.
The coaches are very knowledgeable and worth the price if you are looking for someone to help you with your workout routine.
Another great perk is the kid training options. They have great programs for them while you are doing your own workout.

The equipment is awesome and well maintained in conjunction with facilities sanitation being above average for a public gym My complaint is centered around one of the club managers ( Andrew) This young man is extremely unprofessional and has displayed this behavior in front of me several times. He talks down to the front desk clerks. I've asked him for assistance with membership questions and he has blown me off and passed the question to one of his subordinates. Im a black male , 48 years of age and a working professional, he walks around the gym while he's working out and greets everyone. But, he seems to avoid me and other that look like me. Don't know if this is intentional? But, he being the manager who I signed up with , I don't feel accepted at the UFC Rosemead location , maybe thats the case. This has been on my mind for some time , just had to share. I don't expect anything to come out of this.

UFC is one of the best and most complete gyms in the area. You have the option to train on your own or pay an individual coach. They have a large selection of gym equipment, devices and weights. The bathrooms, showers and lockers are in very good condition. It has a small store for the sale of vitamins and supplements and there is a bar of energy drinks based on fruits and very good quality supplements, they have the Dotfit brand. The parking is quite wide, there is always available parking.

I love going to other UFC Gyms when visiting other areas for bjj competitions, and I’ve been a member at UFC Gym Oxnard for 3 years. However this is BY FAR, the dirtiest gym I’ve been to, let alone UFC. Floors need to be heavily pressure cleaned, I don’t think it’s ever been washed, especially the sauna floor, which is caked with sweat and dirt. The bathroom is nasty with clogged toilets and tissue paper everywhere. I’d give zero stars for cleanliness but 4 since it’s a UFC gym and I love these. That averages to 2 stars.

I never give negative reviews but I hope someone can avoid what happened to me. I responded to a 5-day free pass & walked into ufc saying, “I’m in town “for the summer” and expressed interest in a weekly pass (after the trial). The sales rep only gave me a 1-day trial. He said they don’t have any short term passes. He put me on the spot to get a membership in order to keep working out, but said he could freeze, make changes or transfer it at the end of the summer. I agreed to it because I felt stressed and wanted to workout. While filling out paperwork, he could see my address was not local, but only gave me the option of a TWO-year membership. I felt pressured. I later came back to talk to this sales rep because I had buyers’ remorse. I was mad at myself for not thinking clearly, so I did NOT take it out on him. I simply asked him why he didn’t tell me they had a monthly membership option? I said, “that’s what I wanted because I don’t live here.” He was unapologetic and said, “you signed the paperwork.” I never wanted this to turn into an argument, but I felt he was treating me as if I were an irate customer. I was not. I take responsibility for being gullible, but feel uncomfortable going in now, especially when I think about the lack of compassion he had in saying “you signed the paperwork.” There are gyms with better customer service out there! Trust me. Fitness should not be this stressful. It should be empowering and positive. Now I get calls from UFC about an additional fee that I apparently owe, but the salesperson never discussed it.

Front desk staff has been rude to me the last couple of days as I’ve been trying to cancel my account. I don’t live in the area- I live in San Diego, yet my account is out of Rosemead… girl on the phone doesn’t seem to think it matters, and that I need to drive up there in person if I want to cancel my account. Also suspicious charges- they blamed a coach at another gym- the other gym and my bank said Rosemead UFC is responsible and they’re shucking the responsibility to refund me. Bank is intervening- been waiting for 2 days for Rosemead manager to call me, hasn’t called me. HB Ufc manager got on the phone with me within minutes of hearing my problem, and worked to start fixing it, I’d give HB 5 stars. Rosemead 1. Can’t give negative stars.

Pretty good gym solely based on my free trial after I was invited to the gym by Andrew(Aka the Hispanic version of Ben Stiller). He seems like a nice enough fellow for the time me being there, but I could tell by his face expression that he been told a lot of nos, so he was kind of fed up on getting his hopes up of me ever sign up, but the same time maybe I will go for it! I could tell he was the nicest for the time being, while other stuff members not so much, like the front desk people, when you asked them about the price of the energy drinks, they simply say they don't know, you have to wait inline at juice bar to find out the price! The kick boxing class was pretty intense, you will definitely get a workout out of that! The Brazilian jujitsu class was also good,45-60 minutes long with a lot of hand on experience with other members as well as the coach! The lockers in the locker room was cutting edge, I loved the secure way so you could place your padlock, other then that not as clean as planet fitness, just average to below average keeping up with LA fitness, 24 hour fitness as well as gold gym!

That is a SUPER BAD experience to buy the merchandise here! I’m a foreigner and want to purchase some merchandise for the gift. But I returned some and reordered something new. The front door said he was new there and couldn’t process the return stuff, but he still charged me the new trade. After that, he let me leave and said he would call his boss to process this trade. Looking for Excellence? UFC Recovery Therapist Trainer Zeus (Jesus) is just that. He's educated and certified to help those in need of Recovery Therapy and an Experienced Trainer. A perfect union.

I now understand the importance of Pre and Post Workout, Recovery Therapy, Nutrition, Sleep and Hydration, since having a Recovery Session with Trainer Zeus.

Trainer Jesus fixed an issue I was experiencing by having a conversation with me about my pain, using electric stimulation, cupping and scraping. He gave me instruction on the exercises and machines I should use to strengthen my areas of concern, along with pre/post exercise and therapy information.

After my recovery session with Zeus and following his instructions, it made my knee and calves stronger, along with feeling more confident in my fitness journey.

I'm mindful now, of the importance of having Jesus as a trainer, since he has Knowledge of Setting up his clients for SUCCESS.

During peak times, the gym can get pretty busy, but if you're willing to work out during off-hours, you shouldn't have a problem snagging the machines you need. And speaking of machines, they're typically pretty clean and well-maintained. Regulars at the gym seem to be quite respectful of each other, and do a great job of reracking weights and keeping the space tidy.

One of the cool things about this gym is that they offer fitness classes every now and then. It's a nice change of pace if you're looking to mix up your routine a bit. And if you're into MMA, this gym has got you covered with a range of classes that cater to that style of training.

The only real downside to this gym is that it can be a bit tricky to find attachments for the cable machines. It's not a huge issue, but if you're someone who relies heavily on cable exercises in your routine, it's something to keep in mind.

Every single staff member you come in contact with is so welcoming and genuine. They have the BEST customer service. They over charged me for my Personal Training sessions (over $600) which were supposed to be refunded last year in August, still to this day I am still waiting for my money. Even before they finally agreed to correct their mistake, it was difficult to receive any actual help. The coach who I was working with was kind but was of no real use as everything has to get approved by the supervisor despite it being her fault. Trying to get a supervisor to assist me was a joke. So I cancelled my membership and was told that because I wasn’t a member there was nothing to be done - WTH? I finally got in touch with the person who does the billing and, well, I’m still waiting as a check needs to be sent.
Point is, as for gym equipment average.
Classes are good but fill up quick and not many are offered compared to pre-Covid.
Personal trainers are good and helpful but pricey and then when mistakes happen you’re left holding the bag so think about it 1st.

Great equipment, clean facilities, and very friendly staff. Plenty of parking and right next to the freeway. Open long hours which makes it very convenient and less crowded than other gyms. If it were open 24 hours everyday then it would be perfect.

Cool spot. First time visiting this gym, cool staff members. I got my Schwinn cycling certification at this gym. Probably not as fancy as the Torrance gym, it has its own identity though. It will definitely get the job done. Check them out👊🏽💪🏽

Located inside a gym’s parking lot, a cute pop-up shops event embracing the Chinese lunar new year theme! Local shops with their merchandise & food/drink/desserts, some shops have free samples and the mango cookie was pretty impressive! Yelp Elite each gets a cute shot glass and a free cup of cocktail. Bought my friends with me to check out & support the event!

Its a really good gym with alot of space, the only bad side is that pretty much 70 percent of the gym does not put on mask . The gym itself does not enforce face mask to be mandatory nor do they have any face mask provide and they do not have signs to practice safe social distancing. The only bright side is that the gym does provide sprays to wipe down the machines. Go at your own risk.

So much potential and terrible management!! The staff are dishonest and rude (not everyone), the gym is always packed-so good luck if you want to use one of the 2 squat racks. I rarely see the machines I need available. They literally don’t answer the phone or return calls and close early-which you won’t know unless you can speak to someone on the phone-which they don’t answer. They blast the music so loud you can’t hear your own music on your headphones. I’ve been a member for years and been to many locations and worked at gyms myself in the past. This is my least favorite UFC gym. There are many others that are fantastic-this one needs some serious work.

Best gym period! Everyone is there to work and no one is there to judge! Equipment is always free and open and no one is sitting around on their phone... Everything you need for bodybuilding, toning or CrossFit... Highly recommend you give it a try, worth every penny. Sauna is golden!

For all those other reviews warning people that they steal your money, its true. I bought a membership and had a pt for a couple months. I had to move away for my work and the pt was more interested in making me continue to pay him to be my pt instead of acutally helping me so i canceled the membership.
1 MONTH later they were still charging me for the membership. Called and every single time they said i had to come in to talk to the manager. I drive an hr to this location to be told every single time the manager isnt in. I finially got it disputed and "officially cancelled".
3 MONTHS later theres another charge. I go thru the process again. Finially refunded me.
3 YEARS later after covid started dying down, i get another charge. I call back saying i havent been a member for 3 years and why did they charge me? They said the same thing, come down to the location to talk to a manager.. yaddy yaddy yah. I did not go. Seeing as how often i keep having issues with them charging me despite canceling the membership, i decided to call my bank and renew my card entirely so im no longer in their system. They are ridiculous. Im sure theyre worse after covid. Beware. We've all warned you. ⚠️

I recently moved to the Los Angeles area and wanted to try out an MMA gym so of course I went to the closest UFC gym. I thought it was gonna be full of a bunch of rude fighters trying to make their UFC debut, but I was in for a very pleasant surprise. I signed up for a free BJJ class with Marcos and after signing up, I got a call from Mike, one of the managers. Mike was super helpful, so cool, and very down to earth! From the moment that I arrived at the gym, he made me feel like I belonged there and I knew I wanted to join! He set a great example of how everyone at the gym would treat me. This is definitely a family-like gym. The staff and the other members of the gym are friendly, helpful, and honestly great to be around. On top of that, the classes are amazing, facility is clean and smells good, and they hold a lot of events that I can just chill at! I’m glad that I joined this gym!

Update: Shady business practice, I filled out all the appropriate paperwork for a freeze due to a work place injury medical reports included and the all they did was CHARGE me a cheaper rate NOT FREEZE my account.

3/5 Facility -2 stars for cleanliness. Absolutely huge facility with everything you will need from simple life fitness goals to purusing a career an MMA. The atmosphere is a cool but motivated mood easy to work out in. This place is great, but in desperate need of vacuuming and dusting. Fortunately, it isn't too dirty but it could be much more clean.

Drove 45mins to try the facility using the 5 day guest pass they advertise online, only to be told I have to pay $20 for the day and they no longer offer it. Completely misleading and outright false advertising. Employee was asleep at the door when I walked in too and wasn't all too kind either.

Caution: this place will steal your money. If you cancelled a membership here, check your statements as they restarted memberships without anyone’s approval. Loved this gym until I moved and had to cancel the subscription. I check my bank account and it turns out they’ve charged a membership dues for the past 3 months. Called to cancel, nice lady says to come in, go in to speak with the manager, she’s not there. Assistant manager says they can’t refund or stop the payments and to reach out to corporate. Have reached out to corporate and no response. How is no one able to help at the branch and unauthorized payments allowed to continue? Great staff and great place but UFC will charge you without consent. Still haven’t heard from anyone.

Gym is clean and has all the gear needed for a good workout. Mask are still required to be on the safe side. As of today temp checks no longer needed as LA CO is in yellow teir. Gym has plenty of disinfect station for equipment.
