Fantastic yin & sound bath with Rex. Rex is a great instructor- from his cues, to recommendations assembling the blocks/bolsters/blankets into optimal setups and playing singing bowls & harmonium during class. Thanks Rex!

If you’re considering a new studio, you’ve found it. The warm vinyasa and sound bath is such a wonderful class with small class sizes, easy parking, not too hot and the instructors are fantastic and welcoming!

I've been attending Union Yoga for the past couple of months, and I can confidently say it has become one of my favorite places in San Diego.

The instructors here are TRULY exceptional & overall just lovely humans! Each one brings a unique style & energy to their classes. I always leave feeling more grounded & happy. I highly recommend Union Yoga to anyone looking for a wonderful positive yoga experience. ✨

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, catering to all skill levels. They have a sauna and little gym space as well. Rex is very kind and always makes sure everyone gets what they need out of their hour flows.

When I lived in San Diego, Union was a saving grace for what had arisen on my path. Now that I am coming back into practice and noticing inconsistencies with "Western Yoga" and what Yoga actually is, I have the utmost respect for what Rex and his staff have established and cultivated. I attended Union Yoga during the Pandemic, in Trolley Barn Park. This review is way past due but I am so pleased to see the evolution of this magical space. If you are looking for genuine, authentic yoga, that has not been diluted by the ego-driven Western Yoga agenda, please do your self a favor and try this studio out. Rex has so much to offer and deserves every ounce of success and prosperity that the universe has to offer. If I lived in the area, I would come back to Union. However, 3k miles away, Union Yoga has had a lasting impression on me and is a highlight of my experiences in San Diego.

Union Yoga with Rex has been enjoyable for us. This is a small yoga space. You won't become invisible here, because everyone is in front of the mirror. Each class feels custom and personalized for me.

Big bonus we can always find good parking.

Took a great class with Justice. My friends and I were visiting from Boston and we really loved it. Her class was slow, mindful, movement. Being able to slow down and feel each pose was awesome. Great class, we will be back!

I've attended a few classes at the new location on Fifth and have loved my experience so far! The space is so beautiful and relaxing, and the teachers have been so kind, gentle, and informative as well. I know they're working to add even more as well and I can't wait!

Tyler’s sound bowl class was extremely
therapeutic for me.. I have been practicing yoga for over 14 years. I finished yoga TT this year and have been in many studios around San Diego ... I felt that this studio has a very strong family feel and the love radiates when you walk thru the door! I look forward to more sound bowl classes and visiting this studio!

Been going to Hannah's classes for 2 years at another studio and I trust that she has hired other, equally awesome teachers. The space was cute and had two bathrooms and parking was easy enough.

New yoga studio in a bright airy clean room conveniently located between Hillcrest North Park and University heights, led by local yoga power couple Hannah and Rex. Expert instruction and adjustments. Always room for modification. If you love authentic properly paced Hatha and vinyasa flow, check this place out!
