Boxing was something I was very hesitant to do in the beginning, I really had an interest in boxing and wanted to try it out myself. All my nerves left once I joined this gym, I love training here and look forward to every class. The coaches have so much knowledge about this sport and when I train they devote so much time into their students, they genuinely want us to succeed. They make genuine efforts to devote discipline into us and make sure we understand the concepts of boxing. They focus on the techniques and the classes provide lots of conditioning. My son (11 year old) was able to experience a month here at United Boxing Academy before going back home to the East coast. I can honestly say we have yet to come across a gym like this in our area. The coaches were great at training/explaining the workouts, teaching correct form and inspired the students daily.

I would definitely recommend those who are interested to try out the boxing academy, you will love it. The jiu jitsu looked excellent as well.

I recently moved to Moreno Valley, and was searching the area for boxing gyms since I wanted to get into it. After searching local gyms I found a few that easily got overshadowed by what United boxing academy has to offer. Over the past couple of years I started to pick up weight and really wanted to get back into shape and while doing so learning how to fight properly.
I scouted out local boxing gyms in the area and found United boxing academy to be the most reasonable priced especially for the equipment they have to offer, and the adult classes Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 7:30pm-9:00pm which worked perfectly with my work schedule. Plus starting off with three days didn't seem like you're over doing it as well.
You can talk to the coach if you want to get some extra work in or just go in to use the equipment and handle your own workouts at different times as well which most people end up doing this when they get more serious about their training. I've been signed up since April 1st 2021 and I came in at 247lbs and now I'm at 218 almost hitting my first goal of 215lbs so if you stick with it you'll definitely get there and this is without going on a strict diet as well. I love the people there for the adult class we're like a small family coming for all different reasons and we respect each others goals and help push each other towards the better.
Overall recommend even if you're not looking to fighting seriously and just learning how to fight or losing weight we respect everyone and their decisions all the same.

This place works miracles. I started out overweight and unhappy until I discovered this place. I signed up my daughter so she could gain self confidence. Coach Dunbar is my blessing! He has given her self confidence, and so much more. She believes in herself. Master Dunbar is a great instructor he goes at your pace people might say it takes to long to progress in jujitsu but it’s an individual thing he just wants to make sure you or your kid are ready to progress and go agents people at your level. The boxing there is amazing it ive been doing it for 4 months now but I’m still trying to fix my flaws Master Dunbar always tells me one thing I’m doing wrong and once I fix it he tells me another thing I’m doing wrong to make sure I’m focusing on one thing at a time. This is a great gym! Have been coming for about a year and a half and can not wait to put my daughter in the classes. The people that train there are very helpful as well as coach Dunbar. Once you put time into being here it practically becomes your second home. There is great energy and lots of motivation from the people around you. The instructor might be good but the layout of the gym is so tight that you're squeezing through everything to get by ... when you want to see your kid do boxing forget about it .. there's a huge ring and octagon covering the boxing area you can't even see what they're doing . One of the girls i n the front desk has no customer service at all. But than again 70-80 bucks a month well you get what you pay for .

My family and I (3 of my 4 children) joined at the beginning of the year. It's a great training facility, with friendly and professional staff. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. It's a tough program, but only to bring out the best in you. I use the gym regularly and there's always time to get on a machine/free weights with minimal wait time. All three of my kids have trained under Mr. Dunbar. 2 when they were little and my oldest daughter trained for over 5 years. He has been an amazing support in her life as well as an awesome role model, coach, and instructor. She still seeks his guidance even now. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT.... I had 2 kids going there but had to stop due to transportation issues. I called in on Sept 1st to give notice and was told they will take my notice as of that day but to come in when I can to sign the form. When I went in on the 7th and signed everything, I was told my membership is cancled and I would receive no future charges. so I was surprised when I was charged on 10/1. Thinking this was an error I called to inform them I was charged and requested a refund. The lady's response was "well you've already paid so you'd mide as well just bring your children because we don't do refunds" No, I would like my refund!! I've called several times and each time I'm told I have to talk to Myra who handles the accounts (who seems to never be in, no matter what time I call) or talk to couch who has not once returned my phone call, plus they're refusing to give me the corporates number for billing.

my son did enjoy the boxing at first. Everyone seemed nice and my son was learning how to box. Summer came and our family goes out of town almost every week so we asked if we could put the membership on hold for two months. They got it approved starting July 1st and we were off to enjoy our summer. August 1st I noticed a charge of $80. My wife called United boxing Academy and they said only 1 month was approved. My wife argued and they said there was nothing we could do. I couldnt believe it. I left a message for the manager Myra, but she never called back. We would continue to go but because how they treat their customers, we are cancelling. My wife was also told, she needs to show up in person to cancel. Such a hassle! We also have a couple friends who were going to join this next month but now we will talk them out of it.

So it's now September 27th, and United boxing will not let us cancel. We called to cancel in August but they require we speak to the owner in person. We refused. Who knows how long they will keep charging.

My 7 year old son boxes here 3 times a week. His coach is great. Good with kids and has them learning the rules, the moves, basic fitness as well as sportsmanship and self esteem. It's not cheap (what sport is though) but for $80 a month he goes 3 hours a week. Plus if he gets there early or stays late the coach will work with him 1 on 1 a little more. The gym is always clean. Smells like a gym...but...duh. You can join the gym for like $10 if anyone in your family takes a class. The machines all look pretty new and in good working order. I'd say that part is about 1500 square feet. A little bigger than a 1 bedroom apartment. Anyway, my son loves this place and I am more than happy with it and the coaches. We will continue to go here for many years.
