Writing for a friend who doesn’t have a google account: I just had the most incredible and transformative class at Yoga 728! My teacher, Taylor was FANTASTIC. I could tell immediately that she is a well accomplished yogi herself. I am more of a beginner so I was a bit nervous and she welcomed me with such grace and enthusiasm and I felt right at home. I have a previous injury that I made her aware of and she was incredibly attentive and gave me excellent guidance on how to navigate my flow in a way that protected my injury and gave me great tips gently so that I felt comfortable and safe. The vibe of the class was so pure and healing, I bet a lot of regulars sign up for her classes specifically, I know I certainly will be attending her classes moving forward. 12/10 experience, thank you Taylor!!!

Just had my first and hopefully not last class at Urban 728 Yoga. Kimberlee, the teacher was super knowledgeable and friendly and her class had fantastic flow and was perfectly challenging.

MJ, the front desk person was incredibly warm and hospitable and she made and Kimberlee both had me feeling like part of the Urban 728 family.

The studio itself was well equipped, spacious, and beautiful designed and decorated. Clean and well looked after.

Do yourself a favor and get on the mat with these wonderful and kind folks.

I always can tell a good yoga studio based on how quickly/if the yoga teachers take the time to remember new people’s names and at Urban 728 several of the teachers knew my name after only one class with them. Very indicative of the level of care and dedication that the studio and teachers infuse in both the space and community.
From a practical perspective, the location is very easy to get to (it was walking distance for me) but they also offer free lot parking and metered street parking if you’re a drive away. They only have one yoga studio room but it is super spacious and I never felt too crowded even with 20 people in a class. I liked the modern/minimalist design which feels clean and new. Oh and the fact that they have shower & changing areas (as I’m someone who 100% needs to shower after a hot yoga session) was a definite plus to me.
Most of the classes all had a similar style (they call it Urban Flo 60) which is basically a heated vinyasa flow but each teacher was still able to make it their own which I liked. Signing up through the website/app for classes was very easy and they almost always have several morning classes with a few in the afternoon/evening.
Overall, I would highly recommend Urban 728 for anyone looking for a hot yoga studio that offers a good community, knowledgeable teachers, and a yoga style which I’d describe (in my limited knowledge of yoga) as modern but still in touch with the more traditional roots of the practice.

Have practiced yoga for several years mostly in LA and NYC, two of the hottest yoga hubs, and Urban Exhale by far surpasses anything I could have expected of a studio. Seriously there is nothing like it or even close to it at all. Good for body mind and soul. Thank you Joe & Stacey for the sweat and love.

My Favorite spot in LA for hot yoga! They have free parking. The studio is simple & pristine. Their fun & friendly staff always offer a warm welcome & their check-in process is timely & seamless. Amenities are kept clean: Showers, bathrooms, lockers & cubbies. Infrared heat is the best heat. I love all of the instructors & find myself frequenting the variety of Flow, Detox Class & Sculpt Classes. Shoutout to Jessica for her Vibes Playlist. And if 80s is your thing there is a class that offers that theme of playlist as well :) Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Love it! I am not an expert but the confidence and energy giving by all the experts in this Yoga studio is amazing, it makes me feel that I can do it, and be better and better in this discipline, I started practicing Bickram Yoga back in Dubai, Hot Yoga in Milano, Fierce Yoga in London and finally I have found... what I called... my Yoga place, Love and Peace to all

I almost didn't try this yoga studio, because there were no reviews, but I'm glad I did. Urban Exhale is feakin' fantastic. I've always associated hot yoga with the smell of sweaty gym shoes and teachers who take themselves way too seriously, but Urban Exhale yoga is refreshingly clean and chill. The hot yoga room has no discernable smell, and the teachers mix it up with variety and humor. An overall awesome, enjoyable workout.
