This is a good gym. It's kinda small but it's clean and the staff is always really friendly. But there just isn't enough plates. If you have and aversion to doing cardio this might be the best gym for you. Because you will get your steps in looking for plates. P
UPDATE: this location has gone through some big upgrades. It's now 24hrs which is cool. They rearranged a lot of the machines and added a bunch of new benches. And the plate situation is also a lot better. All in all very good improvements. Makes me feel like the dues we all pay actually come back to us in a good way.

i've been a member of valley fitness for almost 2 years and each visit has been a positive experience. the gym is clean, has a lot of equipment and weight options, and offers plenty of amenities. the staff is super friendly and welcoming, too. there's hardly ever a crowd, which means the wait times are far and few for equipment. the ambiance/interior design is more on the no-frills, bare-bones side of mostly gray walls. the music is interesting and bounces all over the place from various genres and decades.

overall, a good gym for your workout needs.

This has probably been the best gym membership I’ve had. It’s affordable, the gym has great equipment, and the staff is super friendly. Unlike other gyms I have been to, the staff here regularly and frequently throughout the day keep the gym very organized and sanitized. Equipment is being wiped down after use and you never wait too long for a machine to be available. You’ll always see familiar faces here because the gym culture here is very friendly and welcoming.

Its been along time that iv been to the gym. After looking around at a few places, I decided to go to Valley Fitness. Since it’s been awhile, I opted to go with a trainer. It was a great experience signing up with Tyreese. He listened to what I was looking for, and what my goals are. He recommended I pair up with Robert Syrisack. Robert has been a great motivator for me, I complain a lot! So having a trainer who can keep me on track to not give up, has been a big help. He explains how to use the machines and what areas the machines work out. He has created workout routes that are easy for me to follow. Linking videos resources, just over all a while organized system. If you’re looking for a personal trainer, I highly recommend Robert.

The gym is okay. It’s spacious and have a lot of machines but I still don’t think it’s worth the $30 monthly membership fee especially after they change their hours of operation. It sucks how they close at 7PM now on the weekends. The weekends in the evening is when I have time to workout/exercise but by the time I get off work the gym is already closed! In my opinion the weekends should be the days they open late. Plus a lot of the weight machines are old and some have malfunctions too. Would be nice if they extend their hours of operation and upgrade their machines for the charge of $30.

Their fees that they charge are ridiculous and don’t make sense to. I only decided to reopen my membership with this gym because it’s closest to where I live. Also I was trying to reopen my old membership where I paid $25 but they said I would have to pay all these kind of fees that adds up to $70 or $80 to reopen it that didn’t make sense. For example, one of the fees were for the previous month’s payment which didn’t make sense why they would have to charge me it when I didn’t even use the gym for the previous month smh worker couldn’t even explain why to. Not having any other choice and not wanting to have to pay the $70 or $80 fees I ended up opening a whole new membership for the $30 one. Workers are friendly too but it sucks when they can’t give you explanations or help you with certain things. They be trying to charge you for everything.

These people apparently raised my rate without telling me and when asked about it, since I NEVER agreed to pay that amount, they say I probably should have received an email but they aren’t sure if I actually got one but they can’t do anything about it because the charge was already paid (automatically out of my account). I’ve had a couple problems like this. My roommate was a military medic so they gave them a discount - only to charge them three times the amount and also refused to resolve the issue. They cancelled. Friendly staff, really clean facility and machines. For a smaller local gym it's got all the stuff one needs really. Almost. I have never seen a gym with so few free weights for the machines. It is a treasure hunt for 45s if there are more than 3 heavy lifters in the weight section. The classes they got going in the back in the early evenings are super annoying between loud music and incessant timing beeps. My three biggest pet peeves of any gym is lack of weights, lack of class noise separation, and cleanliness. This gym, despite some really nice points, hits 2 of the 3 big problems for me. And the weights thing is seriously the worst I've experienced in I can't tell you how many gyms across numerous states. I am looking right now and there are 12 weight machines with nothing more than a 25 LB of the 20 machines here. And there is no weight storage rack. Please, get some more weights.

This gym isnt exactly fancy looking like planet fitness and crunch fitness. The gym looks a little run down, it got a white sign shape like a flag that is cheap saying valley fitness. Other gyms are really beautiful and well decorated like planet fitness it's very colorful will lots of purple and crunch fitness has that big orange first. Valley fitness dosen't need all that, it's got a lot of different equipment to choose from, with all kinds of different types of exercise.

I know every gym has all that but crunch fitness lacks ab machines, plantet fitness employees are very strict, they don't allow you to wear tank tops, not allowed to drink a gallon of water.. valley fitness dosent do any of that

Their “special” deal is $19.99 a month AND they charge an extra $40 annual fee. They’re basically copying Planet Fitness’s membership fee model, but without the clean machines and they’re not open 24 hours. This should be a $9.99 per month gym, anything over that is a rip off. Fit Republic has been my gym for awhile now, I'll state this right now, if you're expecting every amenity like at the big name gyms like "GB3" you'll be mistaken. This gym isn't fancy nor does it get overcrowded, the place has everything you need to get a workout in. The gym's split into two halves. The right half has weight machines, free weights (unlike Planet Fitness, these dumbells go up to 120) along with squat areas.

On the left half of the gym you'll find ample cardio machines (Ellipticals, Treadmills, stair climbers) with TV's usually playing ESPN, MTV, FX, etc. Just don't use the vending machine, it's been broken for way too long.
The gym also offers group exercises classes and boxing classes by "Pacific Martial arts."

The staff keeps it clean and machines in working order, the front staff is chill and professional. People keep to themselves and get their workouts in peace.

I have been receiving emails regarding changes made during the COVID, apparently, the only email that I failed to read was the fee changes? I have been a member of this gym for over 3 years, and I have been paying the basic $9.99 fee. Recently, I woke up to a charge of $19.99, which I didn't agree to and I did not sign on, and now, I woke up with a charge of $58.99, apparently, an annual fee THAT I HAVE NEVER PAID IN THE PAST. It is very unfortunate that I have trusted the gym with my bank account information for many years, and for them to think it is okay to just start charging any fees without ANY SIGNED agreement or authorization. They have definitely broken the trust that I had in them.

A decently serviceable gym, but THERE IS NO BOXING EQUIPMENT as the photos would suggest. As I signed up for that purpose and was told it would be present, I am dissatisfied paying for a gym membership I will likely not use as much, after being bait-and-switched.

The rest of the equipment works..but for 50 a month I would have hoped for more amenities than your standard planet fitness level gym.
