Perfekte Plätze zum Paddle-Tennis spielen. Falls man kein eigenes Equipment, kann man es an den angrenzenden Shops für 5$ pro Person für eine Stunde ausleihen

I should have wrote this review a long time ago, but it’s never too late to talk about Nancy. The Organiser’s service - she was extremely careful with my staff and did an unbelievable job!!! Thank you Nancy!

I have been playing paddle tennis at Venice courts for a long time. Weekdays are better than weekends that is too crowded. I was wondering why the benches were removed…

I usually surf and my husband plays paddle tennis. Venice beach has always good waves, warm water in Summer. Street paddle is pretty good community.

First time watching this kind of padel! Where are the walls? LOL
I found it very entertaining to watch, I hope to be able to play it at some time.

The Venice Paddle Courts have been there for many years and the Paddle community has grown exponentially. These courts are designed for PADDLE/POP Tennis only. Pickleball players should really avoid these courts. The nets, lines and size of court are not the same.

Had a blast playing pop tennis here! Hopefully they won't get encroached on by pickleball.

Great Paddle Tennis only courts. The community is welcoming to all Paddle tennis players or those who want to learn. As it’s such a unique growing sport the courts are often used.

Best place ever! The Mecca of Pop Tennis.
Friendly reminder that the courts are busy and should only be used for Pop Tennis NOT Pickleball during peak hours.
Plenty of places to play pickle in LA, very few to play Pop Tennis.

The paddle tennis community is incredibly welcoming and excited for new players to join. Be respectful and ask questions. REMINDER: These are not pickle ball courts so be cautious about playing. If you come and it’s busy, I wouldn’t recommend playing pickle. You’ll likely get some rough looks.

Amazing courts for paddle tennis. Really friendly people at the original home for the sport. A large number of courts (I think 12) that are busy during the morning hours on weekends but open up.
The people are really nice and there is a large range of skill sets. Different net size than pickleball and it isn’t allowed here besides a couple courts during certain hours.
Go check out this great sport

Between the tennis courts, there is a single metal table with a chess board installed. The black squares have worn away with time, but have been drawn back on with marker. One bench has been removed to accommodate wheelchairs. Great place to play chess and watch the tennis matches.

These are not Pickleball courts. These are Paddle Tennis courts. The net is different, the lines are different, the court size is different. If youre looking to play Pickleball in Los Angeles, these Venice courts will always be intended for Paddle Tennis.

The only place in the world where you can play paddle tennis with a diverse community on a drop in friendly basis. These courts are historic but an endangered sport - support Pop Tennis / Paddle tennis in Venice. Pickleball can be played anywhere else in LA and doesn’t need our fences!

“The mecca” of POP Tennis aka Paddle Tennis! Come and join us 7 days a week from 8am-7pm. Paddle Tennis aka POP Tennis is the original Paddle Tennis dating back to 1898, created & developed in Michigan & NY respectively. The sport is played on a shorter court than Tennis with solid paddles, low pressure Tennis balls, underhand serve and tennis rules/scoring. You can play singles or doubles. The perfect social sport for all ages from beginner to advanced. The legendary & historic Venice Paddle Tennis courts have been around since 1962 & are widely considered the mecca of US Paddle Tennis. Tennis stars like Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe, Tommy Haas, Andy Roddick, Mardy Fish, Shelby Rogers, Maria Sharapova, CoCo Vandeweghe, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Vince Van Patten, Victoria Azarenka & Golfer Sergio Garcia have all played POP/ Paddle on these courts!
