Big fan of Vernon Lee! It’s the best in town! The teachers are wonderful and work individually with each child. Highly recommended!!

Vernon Lee is the best! The new management under the board of director Frank Sapota has done a fantastic job of choosing the best instructors with a variety of classes and a seamless registration experience. Great customer service. This was not always the case here, and I used to complain about it, but now the new staff are friendly and- get this- They actually call or email you back. There are places to sit now on both sides of the gym! And this is a real gym. There are people doing high-level gymnastics here that you won’t see at other gyms. It’s so inspiring to watch and keeps my child, engaged and focused on improving. I have a four-year-old and an eight-year-old and I love feeling like the gym is a part of their community. So grateful!

My daughter used to attend golden state gymnastics until it became Vernon Lee… When it first became Vernon Lee I was fine with it because it was pretty close to our house and the prices were the same so I was like I’ll give try. The first 1 month was fine, until I tried to pay with homeschool funds. I tried to tell the front desk lady that I wanted to pay with homeschool funds but then she said that my daughter couldn’t attend class until it was fully paid for but the problem was that our homeschool teacher didn’t approve it yet because it was still a holiday. So instead, what they did was they charged my daughter’s classes for my card instead of waiting. I tried to explain but instead the person I was talking to threatened me by saying that it I don’t pay that exact day, then they would banned my daughter from every attending any of their classes. I got so mad. But now my kids going to CPG Pasadena which is a little bit further then I want but at least they really enjoy it.

Oh, for six months my daughter was excited to try out their program . We applied for the scholarship program and proved documents required . The board and the person answering the phone were rude and discriminatory they asked what made me low income as it wasn’t bad enough I had to explain and show proof then asked if I even had a car for transportation . How’s that matter how we get there . Anyways we were denied . They truly made it impossible for someone of low income to be able to participate in the program. Isn’t the program supposed to help people in need not question them? Anyways, I’m glad we are not going with them because who wants to made feel worse about their situation . They are awful

I’ve been coming to the adult gymnastics class here for a couple weeks now and am loving it. The others in the class are supportive and Bambi is great, super knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.

My daughter has been a member for years when the gym was called golden state gymnastics it was so exciting and fun coaches where fun and attentive my daughter learned a lot with them now it’s horrible it seem they don’t care about the costumers or the students it’s time for my daughter to move on.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
My son has taken gymnastics classes for several years, attending The Little Gym in La Cañada and Cal Elite in Burbank. We only tried out one class at Vernon Lee because it's the closest by proximity to us, so we were curious, but we'll never be going back.

Their email and phone communications were horrendous, just trying to get signed up for a trial class. The instructor was rude to the little 4 and 5 year olds. But worst of all was the condition of the gym, it was absolutely disgusting. Spilled drinks in the "sitting area" and sticky floors; balls of hair in corners of the floor and debris everywhere as if they haven't vacuumed in months; no AC, just huge dangerous fans. I can safely assume they haven't wiped down any surfaces recently, whatsoever.

In these current times, I don't know how a business like this can be allowed to operate.

After Being a member of the Golden State Gymnastics Team for 18 months, I can tell you with concrete certainty that the merger with Vernon Lee has negatively impacted the Burbank Gym. The communication is non existent.
1. Emails go un answered.
2.The answering machine in full.
3.The front desk personnel is uninformed.

I have sent multiple correspondence to cancel my Daughter’s membership and of course there is no response.

The best coaches have already left. The person responsible for recruiting my daughter has left. The energy and excitement has left. It’s time for me, my daughter and my $300 per month to leave as well.
