Absolutely Amazing! The are alot of things I can say about this gym: 1. very, very clean as alot of gyms I've been to before have an hygiene issue. 2. The workouts are intense, as they should be. Especially if you want to lose weight and gain muscle. 3. The owner is absolutely incredible. Very welcoming and treats new and regular clients very hospitable. 4. The trainer along with the regulars are also welcoming and friendly, if you’re lagging behind in a workout, they will be there to fill you in and make sure you perform at your best. Just to name a few amazing things about this gym.

After a year @volofit is the BEST place for HIIT classes. I'm never bored. Every day, there is a different high energy intense class. Love it!!! 💥💥_------------ Just can say WOW! I joined this place almost 5 weeks ago and the workouts have exceeded my expectations. The coaches are excellent (all of them) and the classes are super intensive, super HIIT : ) I love that the classes are different every day, It motivates me to wake up and burn calories. I’m just past 2 weeks on a 6 week workout challenge! I’m so happy I joined Volofit it’s been a great experience. People in the class and instructors are friendly it’s easy to feel comfortable. The Hiit Workouts are always different come prepared to work hard because you will leave sweaty, the group setting really keeps you motivated and moving!

I saw an ad for Volofit on Instagram and thought, "Why not try it!?" I have needed an exercise program to get back into a consistent habit of exercising. I've done all kinds of workout classes at various studios in San Francisco and Oakland. I love the Volofit studio - large, airy, clean. I love the instructors - encouraging, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable. I love the classes - it's interval training, so they switch up the focus and structure of the intervals for each class every week, so that you can get into the groove of understanding how the class works, how to do the exercises, etc. but it never gets too repetitive or boring. I've been doing the 6-week challenge (classes + a nutrition program) to get started and plan to continue with the classes after I'm done. I highly recommend Volofit for anyone looking for something to kickstart or add to their exercise and fitness routine. There's plenty of available adjustments for the workouts to make it approachable for beginners, or to really kick your butt if you're more advanced!

I cannot say enough about working out at Volofit!
Not only is it great to be in a class of people who really want to be there, but the experience is enhanced by having coaches that care and remember your name!
I have been through my fair share of studios, and I've never been more motivated to show up for a 6:00am workout until now. I love how the workouts are always challenging, but in different ways depending on the day. I also like to be competitive, so when class involves an individual or team challenge, I like to rise to the occasion and bring my all.

Volofit has led me down a transformation path towards results I didn't know I could achieve! Being of a certain age, dealing with perimenopause symptoms, and recovering from a long-term back injury, I thought making a shift in my body would be extremely difficult. I knew I wanted a jumpstart beyond the training and nutrition management I'd done in the past, but I wasn't sure where to find one. I uncharacteristically answered an IG ad for women in my city to participate in a 6 week nutrition and fitness challenge, and I'm so grateful I did!
First, the challenge was very affordable with no strings attached - I only had to sign up for the first 6 weeks and it was up to me to continue with a fitness membership after that period. This was enticing in itself in a time where everyone wants long-term commitments with heavy upfront costs!
Nutrition: At the beginning I received an orientation detailing healthy ways to eat while losing weight and keeping muscle, as well as some tools to help along the way. I'm a slow processor and it took me a week or so to get the hang of it, but it turned out it wasn't so difficult to change my eating habits to counting macros and calories. I was worried about feeling hungry, but I felt satiated as long as I ate the suggested amounts of protein and veggies. I even went on a road trip in the middle of the challenge for a week and was easily able to stay on track! Also, it's worth noting I am vegan and was able to easily get the protein I needed! Laura, my nutrition coach, was supportive, patient, and thorough in answering any questions I had along the way.
Fitness: I started the Volofit strength and conditioning classes very slowly due to my injury recovery, taking me most of the six weeks to be able to complete a full class and build up to multiple classes a week. The trainers are friendly, patient, helpful in adjusting workouts as I need, and encouraging. They also made me feel more than ok when I needed to take a break or only complete a partial class to make sure my back could handle the introduction of newer movements. The workouts are challenging and fun, going by so quickly, and every single class has been different!
Results: In the first 6 weeks I lost 10 lbs, 5% body fat, and 5.5 inches total, all while maintaining my skeletal muscle mass. I was able to build up the strength and stamina to start completing classes. Talk about motivating! I got the jumpstart I wanted and can now focus on building more strength.
It feels crazy that only a short time ago I told myself I might be able to make a change and give it a shot, and the time was going to pass anyway, to now see the results I was able to achieve thanks to Laura and Volofit (and myself for being consistent and disciplined!). If you're looking for a change, Volofit is a place you can truly achieve results, and I highly recommend them!

If you want to get into HIIT and keep succeeding, this is the place. I love the coaches, staff, workouts, and music! Gym is kept clean and there’s showers which is nice if you go to work after. I was feeling pretty weak and wanted to tone up. I started to go consistently in December and now I have the shadow of a 4-pack haha. So let me say how amazing everyone is here! From Staff Members Laura, Mark Instructor BJ, and many more! I had my very 1st FREE workout today HERE and had a blast! Me and my partner today(forgot her name 😫)! Im very happy with the atmosphere the incredible workouts and all the motivation and passion as soon as you walk in the door. The heart monitors were great to have on while working out as well as the tv monitors to show as guide each workout. I came on the most hectic challenge day. But I love the challenge, so proud of myself today!I will definitely be back thank you ALL so much!! I’ll definitely recommend! This was fun place to workout at. My fiancé approves. Lol

I'm new to HIIT and I couldn't have picked a better gym to start my journey! I was intimated at first but when I walked in to the gym and met with the owner as well as trainer, they immediately put me at ease. They walked me through everything step by step and answered my questions with so much excitement. The workouts are challenging but there are modifications for those who need it. I can guarantee you'll leave a workout wanting more!
The gym is also extremely clean and the community is amazing with very supportive gym members!

I was introduced to Volofit by attending a Yelp Event last year.
The classes were engaging, and lasts about 50 minutes.
Usually, you would learn about the different exercises for the day. Sometimes, it might be a marathon of exercises to reach a certain goal. Then, there small rounds of stretches before we head to rotate through up to 6 stations.
Afterwards, we do another round of cool down stretches.
Last year, I was told that the topic of the day will be unknown until you show up. However, things improved drastically and we've been getting e-mail in the beginning of the week so that we know what we are focusing on for the day (back, upper strength, total fitness, legs, glutes, etc).
I like that this place gave me the confidence to try different exercises. It was the place I do anything ropes (and bands).

I am all in for Volofit!!! I’m 53 years old, almost 54, and I was at a point in my life that I needed to make a change. The lockdown wreaked havoc on me. I was one of those that finished all the snacks in the house before noon. So it was time to stop using lockdown as an excuse and reclaim myself. I was looking through my Facebook (hey, I told you how old I am) thread and a promo ad came up for a 6-week fitness challenge through Volofit. I normally bypass all the ads, but like I said I was needing a change. So I took the leap and replied to get more info from Volofit. Laura, owner of Volofit got back to me and “project reclamation” was off and running.
I started the 6-week fitness challenge on August 23, 2023. I weighed in at 230lbs. The challenge consisted of two parts, nutrition and workouts. I thought the nutrition would be the hardest part, but surprisingly no too bad. If I had listened to my mom growing up I might not have gotten myself into my predicament. “Eat your vegetables!” So simple, but the key to my newfound success. Broccoli and spinach are my new best friends. Along with all the protein the vegetables keep me full while being low in calories. With what I learned from Laura on how my plate should look I made it through the 6-week challenge without ever feeling hungry.
Now to part 2 of the challenge, the workouts. The first one was TOUGH. Having not worked out for the whole duration of the lockdown til now, I honestly fell asleep on the floor when I got home. But after I woke up I felt really good about what I was doing. I took the first step in my reclamation project. Two days later I was back in class and happy to say did not pass out on the floor when I got home. I have been enjoying the classes. Every class is different, which keeps it fresh and challenging. I have to give a big shoutout to Laura and the team she has assembled they are all for their trainees. Davis and Alex, my trainers, keep me motivated and encouraged to push through to the last set.
So it is now November 22, 2023, and I am still working out at Volofit and staying on Laura’s meal formula. I am down 35lbs and feel great. My reclamation project is going strong (feeling strong too) and I could not have done it by myself. Thank you Volofit, Laura, Davis, and Alex.
If you are reading my review and in the same boat I was in and need to make a healthy lifestyle change, I encourage you to listen to yourself and make the change. And If you need someone to guide you through a fitness program I whole heartily recommend Laura and her team at Volofit!
I can’t believe I am posting these before and during photos, but I hope they will encourage you to show up and show out for yourself.

Friendly staff, clean equipment and facility, motivating coaches, great music, and a huge sweat! I am a personal trainer myself and I am impressed at how the workouts hit the essentials of fitness: cardio and metabolic training, strength training, and core. Even the warm-up routine is designed for the class. Another practice they use is providing options for most of the movements if you need a simpler version to fit your athletic ability. The workouts are mostly HIIT style, but it's more than just a "bootcamp." You will have strength-focused days which nicely breaks up the vigorous HIIT regimen which can wear you down. For regular members you can use their heart rate monitors and view your performance real-time in class. You will also get an email report with your stats afterward! It is a great way to find the motivation to push through each workout. I definitely recommend this studio!

I think the classes and instructors are great.
When I showed up for my second class at 6 am on Monday, I told Enrique at the front desk I would have to pay cash for the drop-in because I was having problems with my credit card. He informed me they didn’t take cash. Enrique didn’t attempt to problem-solve so I could take the class; instead, he let me walk out. I probably would have returned for future workouts had he worked with me. Unfortunately, he was not as helpful as the staff member who worked on Saturday - I wish I could remember his name.

I decided to try this gym after walking by on my lunch break and WOW one class and I was hooked! I did the one week trial and fit in 5 classes with 3 different instructors. Every instructor was incredible-great energy, great music and great workouts! On top of all of that, I was blown away by the community. Group fitness classes can be intimidating, but it really felt like you were a part of a team in there. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I have been a member here for over a year now. Joining was one of the best fitness decisions I have made. Their workouts at always challenging but fun. Best HIIT workout gym I have ever been to. The space is clean and open with lots of room to move around. The instructors are great and helpful and the front desk is also quick to help and respond. I really enjoyed the two classes I took at Volofit. They were challenging, but offered a good variety of exercises to keep it interesting throughout.
The instructors were very friendly and helpful. They would give tips and pointers in an encouraging and supportive way.
The physical space was great too. There was plenty of room to workout at each station without feeling crowded, and the space has a modern and sleek feel to it.

I had an interesting experience and a good workout, but there wasn't nearly enough warm up, and the warmup that was done didn't focus on the areas that we actually worked out which risks injury. I got hurt and wasn't able to come back. Also wish they were more transparent about pricing.

Great place to workout. Convenient location, very nice staff and trainers. I think it would be cool if they added more abdominal workouts to the routine and maybe if we ran around the block for cardio (get outside a little bit, enjoy the weather). But the place is fantastic. I see the change in my body. The app is easy to use. And I like the device that tracks burned calories. It helps you push the limits in real time. I was looking for motivation, somewhere that’ll push me out of my comfort zone, where I could build strength, but also condition. After the first day of my week trial I knew I would be signing up for the month of classes at Tough Mudder Bootcamp. The coaches/trainers have all been wonderful. They challenge me while providing support with posture. The owner is extremely friendly and spent quite a some time talking with me about what TMB is all about and where they’re going next. This is my first HIIT gym experience. But, it sure seems like they have it dialed! workouts leave me feeling worked in a good way. Their facility is stocked with very good quality equipment and coaches that know how to use it in creative ways! The format of the class is very clear and the "couple minutes per station" flow of it and the count down timers are really helpful for pushing yourself!

I never thought that HIIT workouts or bootcamps would be my thing. I was worried they would have a "gym bro" or "no-pain-no-gain" vibe and I didn't want to have that relationship to my body. Then a friend signed me up for a Sunday class with Alex and my mind was blown! This place has wonderful trainers that focus on form, give personalized adjustments during workouts, and it's just hella fun to sweat alongside others.
Beyond physical benefit, by my second class I was on a first name basis and during covid-times that feels really sweet.

I started going to Tough Mudder because a friend recommended it, and I see why! I love the fact that every workout is different, but I still feel comfortable after only a few classes to know what to expect and how best to push myself. I came over to this gym as a skeptic and Orange Theory Fitness fan. Workouts and coaches are great! All of them are high energy and super engaging. Coach BJ is awesome! 🤩 She has 2 classes during the week at noon so it's the perfect workout for your lunch hour. You can always expect something different every class so don't worry about getting bored. Love the variety of exercises and knowing I'll always get a good sweat on I'm those 50 minutes. This gym very clean. We santizie and use wipes every time we rotate stations. They offer heart rate monitor tracking and earing "points" for every minute you're above 70% of your max heart rate if you're into that. Might make it more challenging if you're competitive. It's the perfect gym for building strength and getting cardio in (and this is coming from someone who hates cardio so if you hate running like me, this gym is perfect for you) while making it fun! Hats off to the owner Laura for opening this awesome gym with awesome staff!

The Staff is extraordinary hats off for providing a positive motivational environment from Day 1.
The free class got me hooked. Laura and Mitch let you move at your own pace in the boot camp and show you the correct way to do the exercises.
And once you get in a groove the class is over…
The classes have really helped me lose weight and get my stamina back.

Working out here is SO MUCH FUN! The coaches are super encouraging - especially while I rehab a shoulder injury- offering modifications to help me on my path to healing. And the other day, after class one of the fellow patrons said to me, "Good job! We crushed it!" Felt so good.

Super fun workouts (as much as a tough workout can be **fun**), and it’s cool that they change every time. I like that you’re on to a new station every 3-5 minutes, so you don’t easily get bored. I walk away from each workout feeling like I gave it all the energy I have. Highly recommend the 4:20 class on Wednesdays with Lauren—she’s great at motivating us to stay moving while working on perfecting our form.

I love working out at TMB Oakland. The coaches are great, they limit the number of people in a class and sanitise between classes. I would highly recommend this to people looking for a workout that is challenging and will help you get in shape.

When operating, the staff are the nicest and the coaches are very helpful and motivating. It is a professional, safe, and sanitary business. Their workouts change and rotate frequently- you are always challenged. The functional movements and strength conditioning have helped reduce my back pain significantly. The mixed in cardio has also helped with my weight and fitness goals. I'm so glad they have online classes during these times. Highly recommend!

Incredible staff, fun workouts, awesome energy! When operating, I always left the place with the biggest endorphins high and I look forward to having those again once it’s safe to do so!

The online classes are amazing! I was looking for something to complement my running habit, to gain muscle and to be a part of a group class. The online classes were the perfect solution! The coaches give a shoutout to the online crowd before and after the session and check on you during the workout so you feel a part of the class. In the 4 months I have been doing the online classes, I have become leaner and stronger. I have even noticed an improvement in my cardio when I run. Thanks TMB Oakland team! Happy New Year to you!

They were having indoor fitness classes not in compliance with county health orders. I saw lots of people in there maskless through their windows. Now they put up high frosted coating on their windows. Wonder what’s still going on in there.
