I visited this studio while I was traveling through California. Big open space, beautiful interior, super personable feel...the "regulars" were getting hugs from the teacher as they walked in...like they are a really connected community. Class was amazing, and afterwards half the class ended up grabbing a bite to eat afterwards. Community runs deep here. Can't wait to be back!!

This is my second home! I am in love with my studio. It is a place to put the world aside and focus on me. It is so much more than a physical practice, but a mental refresh. I love how much the instructors tend to people of all levels of yoga, from first timers to seasoned vets-everyone is challenged but kept also growing! This is one of two of the only donation based yoga studios I have ever been to. Donation based yoga is more common in places like LA or SF, but Lorie has so graciously trusted this community with a big responsibility. Donation based doesn't mean it is free yoga, and in fact its one of the most high end studios I have been to. The quality of teachers, equipment, and experience is much higher quality than that from my experiences at Corepower and a few other studios I visited down in Santa Monica. So thankful that Warrior Yoga is in Turlock.

I started doing yoga in January because a friend recommended that I try out Lorie's Baptiste style power yoga. I had no idea what I was in for. Lorie (the owner of Warrior Yoga Turlock) has been such a light in my life. At first I stuck with yoga because I could feel and see that my body was getting stronger but it's so much MORE than that. I had no idea how transformative this place would become for me. It's amazing to see how far I've come physically, spiritually, and emotionally since starting this yoga journey. Baptiste style yoga isn't just about getting physically stronger, it's about sweating out the CRAP and watching your spirit grow. This space has brought me self-discovery and healing. I couldn't have done it without this community and the owner, Lorie (she's truly inspiring). We're doing life, practicing yoga, being perfectly imperfect TOGETHER. Come do some heated power yoga at Warrior Yoga Turlock, you won't regret it. :)

Warrior Yoga is my happy place. It's the place I go not only for personal transformation, but for a wholistic sense of community. I've followed Lorie for a couple years now and cannot explain how grateful I am for this new venture she has embarked on. Lorie has brought such a positive and refreshing new spot to Turlock.
For those that are not familiar with yoga or are new to yoga, we practice Baptiste style yoga at Warrior Yoga; it is comparable to heated vinyasa flow. The room is normally heated to about 95 degrees and Lorie and other instructors lead us in a 75 minute practice. Warrior Yoga is an all-levels studio therefore making it a perfect place for beginners and seasoned yogis of all shapes and sizes. The instructors will help you with modifications as needed and will always make you feel comfortable and supported.
I am excited to see Warrior Yoga's growth in our community and the tremendous impact it will make in people's lives.

If you are looking for a truly transformative yoga experience, whether you are just starting out or a seasoned yogi, Warrior Yoga is the space for you! This Baptiste-inspired hot yoga practice will help you build a strong and flexible body, but it also gives you the tools to develop a mindfulness and strength of spirit that you can take into your everyday life. It is a completely judgement-free space that welcomes you at whatever your skill level is, yet challenges you to grow and break through boundaries--both physical and mental.
This studio has become something of a second home for me and the practice really has changed my life! The owner and her instructors are incredibly passionate about what they do and have built a strong community around celebrating each and every person's journey towards self empowerment. Every time I walk in the door, I am greeted with an open heart and feel welcomed, loved, and accepted. I HIGHLY recommend this studio to anyone who is searching for a practice and a safe space to grow--on and off the yoga mat.

I love this place. It has inspired so much personal growth and development inside of my life and career this past semester. It has been a fabulous out-lit for me to live my life and love it. I would encourage you to go on days you feel: great, low, daring, scared, overwhelmed, courageous, tired, drained, tempted, and alive. A place that adapts to all levels. You'll feel the burn and refreshed ;)

Warrior yoga is always full of beautiful people. They make you believe in your practice & yourself! I've cried so many tears on the mat that were needed in my life! I encourage everyone to go no matter if they are a practiced yogi or have never stepped a foot on a mat. Warrior yoga will encourage you and let you know that where your at is where your suppose to be. Even if where your at isn't pretty! We're all in a beautiful mess and at Warrior yoga we do the dance together!

Go to a class at Warrior Yoga and you'll soon find why there are so many of us who gladly call this place our second home. I used to hate yoga, until I started taking Lorie's classes. Warrior Yoga classes are all heated in a 90 degree room (you'll get used to it ;) ) and last an hour and fifteen minutes. The environment is a place of no judgment and no fear. All ages and levels are welcome with open arms by some of the most humble teachers and other students alike. The classes are challenging and designed to bring us out of our comfort zones in a great way. Imagine first getting hit by the heat, you breathe through it but then you realize the poses are not so easy either. You'll be challenged to go deeper and you'll feel it physically and mentally, but you leave feeling so much lighter. All classes are donation based, come as you are and give what you can, with a suggestion of $13. This is awesome for classes like this especially if you're like me and not dripping with cash. If you're on the fence, have ever thought of giving yoga a try, or maybe just need to try something new or stretch out your muscles with an active recovery day, don't pass this place up. You will not be disappointed. I'm so glad I have been brought into the Warrior Yoga community, and hope you give us the chance to drag you in too.

This is the kind of place where you feel like you are a part of something bigger than yourself. Warrior Yoga isn't just about the amazing physical practice of yoga, but also about community, helping each other grow, building each other up, and self-acceptance. When I walk into a class at Warrior Yoga, I notice that people talk to each other, laugh, play on their mats (already excited for a practice), and the teacher greets each person that comes through the door. There's real connection here.
I have seen this Baptiste-inspired practice transform people's lives. I have experienced this for myself too. Not only do I accept myself and my body so much more fully than I did before, but I love myself exactly as I am and as I am not. It's all about getting all the junk out of the way that this world likes to tell us about ourselves; Warrior Yoga is a safe place to clear that junk. I have torn down a lot of walls that I struggled to hold up around my heart in this place. The results of a regular yoga practice at Warrior Yoga are this: a more flexible and strong body as well as a more flexible and strong spirit.
I would recommend Warrior Yoga to ANYONE. No matter the skill level, age, body type: this place is for everyone.

If you're ready to say "Yes" to a better self, Warrior Yoga Turlock is your yoga destination. Every class I've taken has guided me to new places in my mind, body, practice, and life. They foster a great yoga community and their instructors will inspire you with their honesty, showing that surrendering is the path to inner-strength. Namaste.

Warrior yoga is my home away from home. I love the wonderful community this studio has. As soon as you walk in the door someone greets you with a welcoming smile. If you're absolutely new to yoga don't fret the classes offered here are all levels. Yoga is a practice not a yoga perfect. It's ok if you're not flexible or if you don't know the names of the poses you'll be fine. The teachers come around and help you throughout class. No one is going to judge you. Just be open and have fun with your practice. I highly recommend this studio.

I absolutely LOVE every bit of this studio. The owner has such a huge heart for her community, and for her students. Her light carries over all of the instructors and they truly have made a beautiful place to practice. The studio itself is a great size, and I walk out of every session feeling so great about my practice (no matter how many times I fell during). They really focus on fostering a community, and helping one live in the moment and be a YES. The schedule of classes is great, lots of classes to fit every one's schedule. I would highly recommend this baptiste inspired hot yoga studio to anyone and everyone! :)

From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a buzzing atmosphere of community. The teachers are always welcoming and they truly care for your experience. My favorite part about Warrior Yoga is that I can make my yoga practice whatever I want it to be. If you are a veteran yogi or have never even tried yoga, consider visiting Warrior Yoga. You won't regret it! I have been going there for about 10 months and I still love the practice, the people, and they are truly a second family.
