Best gym in the whole world!
Coolest people ever—such an amazing community.
Everyone is so supportive, and I’m always inspired by the people here.
Not to mention the coaching from Wes!
I love getting immediate feedback on my lifts and appreciate all the helpful cues.
He might look intimidating, but he’s actually a sweet teddy bear.
The programming is also excellent—I feel so much stronger since joining West Coast.
I haven’t even been a member for a year, but I can already tell you: I’m never leaving!
West Coast Weightlifting has my heart!

This gym has plenty of high quality bars and bumper plates for weightlifting. Lot of room to perform lifts. 10 different squat racks and 15 different leg machines. Two set of dumbbells and all sort of accessories from jerk blocks to Safety Squat Bars. They have a fundamentals class and coaches with 15+ years of weightlifting experience. Great for the average gym goer looking for a 24/7 facility or a high school to elite athlete. Lots of powerlifting and strongman equipment too. Recovery room looks nice as well might sign up for that to use the sauna and ice bath. Great private and clean gym with very kind and involved members.

You can get strong and live an active life anywhere. What’s special about WCW? The community and the coaching.

I started going here in high school and throughout the years I have made life long friends I would have never met anywhere else. Because of the close knit community we’ve built, the support could not be more genuine. The way they cheer you on, offer pointers, and make you feel like you can even if you don’t quite believe it yourself is something I have never experienced at another gym.
When I moved away to college and transitioned to remote coaching, I never felt like I was slipping through the cracks of not being able to train at the facility. The standard of coaching was the same regardless of modality. Wes takes the time to know his team and tailors ques, pep talks, and how to approach training based on what works for that individual.
This gym has equipment for everyone, no matter your fitness goals, West Coast Weightlifting will be the place to help you reach them!

The coaching here is world-class, and the community is like no other. From day one, I’ve felt seen, supported, and pushed to become the strongest version of myself—not just physically, but mentally too. Every lift, every setback, every PR—I’ve had coaches and teammates beside me, believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.

Westcoast has completely transformed my lifting journey. The technical guidance, the encouragement, and the energy in that room have taken me to a level I never thought possible. This isn’t just where I train—it’s where I grow.

I’m endlessly grateful for this space and the people in it. I don’t plan on ever leaving—because when you find something this good, this life-changing, you hold on tight

This gym has been my home away from home for years! The facility is HUGE with plenty of indoor/outdoor space for general Strength Training, Crossfit classes, Powerlifting, and (my favorite) Olympic Weightlifting. Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or are a seasoned athlete, West Coast Elite has everything you could need/want. The equipment is next level, the coaching is unmatched, and the vibes are high! Come through, and join our gym family!

This gym changed the course of my life. During knee rehab, I found this place on social media as inspiration. When I was cleared, I went to see if Olympic Lifting was for me. Coach Wes really changed my mindset into believing I was an athlete who could do amazing things. My teammates provide a valuable support system on and off the platform. Over a year later, it is still my favorite part of the day.

Facility: LARGE place with space for open gym members, Olympic weightlifting lanes and equipment, powerlifting equipment, and a CrossFit area/classes. The space is cleaned frequently and has an in house person for body work who keeps the athletes healthy and primed for success. (I have to admit, it’s me. I’m the body work gal. So called me biased if you want but hey I’m honest too!) This gym also has personal door codes for 24 hour access.

Coaching: I can only speak on the weightlifting coach Wes but let me say he is fantastic. I’ve had a few coaches over my 4 year lifting career but none who have the passion that Wes has for being a coach. He takes the time to find the right cue for each athlete (sometimes trying several different cues for the same person/thing just so it sinks in in the way THEY need to hear and absorb it).

Environment: we can be a loud, rowdy and sometimes sarcastic group. We can also be a very channeled and “in the zone” group too. Each day is different based on the people present and the current vibe. We play good music, sling weights, and cheer or scream for our fellow lifters. The coolest thing about this gym is that when someone is hitting a PR attempt the ENTIRE gym stops to support (I’m talking crossfitters, lifters, and open gym members alike. The support and energy is unreal & definitely unmatched).

If you’d like to see what this place is about check it out for yourself. I did a drop in 2 years ago and never left. I’ve also climbed to top 3 in the nation for oly lifting with the help of Wes as my coach. I think that says a lot.

I was over-charged on my membership dues and despite e-mailing the owner multiple times and even going to see him in person he has not refunded me. I would highly advise not joining this gym as there is a complete lack of professionalism and organization in the administration. Do not be surprised if you are scammed and make sure you check your bank statements as originally the owner did not cancel my membership when I told him I wanted to, and it took me two months later to realize that I was still being billed.

Excellent gym and very friendly owner/staff. I went here as a drop-in visitor - just needed to get my lifts in while I was visiting the area for the morning without the nonsense of a globogym. I would unquestionably become a member if this gym were by my home area! I made sure to get some of their awesome shirts.

This facility is now called West Coast Elite and is owned by Wes Cravy.
where do i even start. This gym/space has been named many things over the last few years. to name a few: Zastc, East County Barbell, and now WCE. I've been coming since 9/2018 off and on and the community is unparalleled. I am so happy and comfortable here even though the outside looks intimidating. there's so much to offer here and all of them are amazing: personal and sports training, (MLB stars have trained here as of late). Olympic weightlifting, group classes that mirror CrossFit but none of the silly stuff that will hurt you, power lifting, and open gym. Take your pick.
I personally do the group classes (0530, 0700, 0900, 4PM, 6PM). Coach Mel programs with a purpose and supports us with heavy barbell workouts to get us strong and thoughtful conditioning that will challenge us but not kill us.
I have tried other "CrossFit" gyms and the community elsewhere feels too closed off and uninviting. kiddos are welcome to join in on group classes and the coaches are friendly and knowledgeable. I am proud to be a WCE member. I know I'm welcomed and i get in an awesome workout. click the website to claim a free week. its so fun, come join us!

This gym is okay to go to lift a single barbell, but I find this place to be underwhelming as they offer a few programs that felt stale. They do not have a flexible time schedule so its difficult to find the right time to go to class. And very few gym equipment that was barely used.

Best gym around! Super clean & safe! Coaches are super nice and encouraging. Other members are some of my closest friends now and feel like family. So much to offer and never disappoints, even at 530am when I go, I feel so good no one can ruin my day!

This gym double charged me for my daughters membership October of 2019, for 6 months, and they still have not paid me back and it is Aug 2020. They have blamed me for not noticing, blamed quarantine, all while having the money for upgrades to the gym, and posting about all the gym activity, but have not paid me back the 700.00 dollars they took from me. I am a single mom and a veteran. I am embarrassed for this gym. Check your bank statements and don't expect a refund if they mess up and double charge you.

The “fit fam” community is so great. And the entire atmosphere makes me want to keep coming back, so much so, that I often show up 6 days a week! The coaching is professional and they prioritize safety and form first. I’ve learned so many new things, lifts, rope climbing, etc... and it’s makes me feel like a super hero :)

Awesome gym, super friendly people and staff. Was terrified of trying something new out of the ordinary crunch or Chuze gym...best decision ever. It’s like having your own personal trainer every time bc they make sure you know what you are doing and don’t leave you hanging.

Coach Randy put together a strength building plan to get my squats and bench presses stronger. Before starting the plan I could barely hit 315 lbs on the squat and I barely got to parallel. I've been on the plan for about two month and I've already gotten to a 1 rep max of 390 lbs.

East County Barbell is awesome. I highly recommend it. I’ve been a member since February 2018 and I love everything about it. The classes keep me coming back. The community is amazing in all aspects. It’s a fun and healthy environment to workout 🏋🏻‍♀️ in. The coaches are great, very motivated and extremely helpful. The gym itself is clean and organized. Also, it has a kids area for those with children. East County Barbell is my gym and I absolutely love it here.

ZASTC deserves way more than 5 stars!
I started training here just over 10 months ago.
When I found ZASTC all I thought I was looking for was a different workout and motivation to stay active but what I got has been so much more. It's become a home away from home where I come for crazy intense workouts and to hang out with all the friends that I have made. The trainers have challenged and pushed me like I've never been pushed and the members are all welcoming and supportive.
I'm doing things today I said that I would or could NEVER do. As much as I love seeing myself change and do new things, it's just as exciting seeing everyone else reaching new goals!
I love the new me, inside & out.
Thank you Rob, Kelsey, Nathan & Sea-Anna!

Zastc is a wonderful place if you actually want to work out and not sit around at a regular gym, and get no results. The classes are challenging but really fun! I love the atmosphere of the gym, the members are super welcoming as well as the coaches, who always try for you to reach your fullest potential. I had no idea how far I could go until I started coming here. I love it!
