Me encanto la clase de barra. Para ser una reciente mamá con un pequeña de una año y retomar el ejercicio me parecio muy entretenido y enfocado en las necesidades de sus clientas. Recomiendo para personas que sufren de dolores de espalda!

Enjoyed my first time here. Natalia was very warm and welcoming. The 50 min workout was tough! There is both bar and mat work mixed in. Luckily it wasn’t too difficult to follow for a newcomer- I signed up via classpass on a whim and was very happy I gave it a try. The studio is clean and tastefully outfitted, the skylight is a lovely and unique feature. I appreciate that they had high quality mats, weights, balls, and everything else needed for a good workout. Will try out another class!

I had so much fun working out here. I can't wait to try the other classes. So far, I have done the Barre Class with Natalia. I can't believe I didn't know about this fitness location, it's been here for years (Pre-Covid)! I am growing in my fitness modalities and recently incorporated both Barre and Yoga among others. On a quick search found Wild & the Barre. I'm so happy I did because it absolutely fits like a glove with a flare. Definitely will be back when i'm back in town!

I love Wild and the Barre! The studio is clean and cozy. The instructors are friendly and make an effort to get to know you. I have had mixed success with feeling welcome in Pilates/Barre studios in the past but I feel like Wild and the Barre is one of the good ones! The barre classes are tough but the instructors offer modifications to increase or decrease the intensity as needed. A full body workout in 50 minutes?? Nice. Overall would recommend. I hear they also have dance classes which sound like a lot of fun. Last there’s a great deal for newbies (like me!) you can pay $29 for unlimited classes for your first week!

I think the only thing I would recommend is getting there a few minutes early to stretch beforehand because the instructors go straight into the workouts so if you’re not ready you might feel some tightness.

I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for over a year and I simply love this studio! I’ve explored 5-6 different barre studios in my area (mostly chain ones like Barre3), but there is definitely something special about the Wild and the Barre with its small studio charm and instructors that pay attention to every individual student. The owners Natalia and her husband are really warm and welcoming and I love how they have decorated this studio along with their kids!

I’ve had trouble maintaining a fitness routine and want to give a special shoutout to Janice Maloney for making her classes so fun and vibrant. She has great choice of music which makes the workouts very enjoyable, some dance-style barre moves and a great balance of cardio and strength! I used to live in San Jose and would make the drive up to Redwood City every week for her classes for the first year (I live very close to the studio now, haha surprise). Now after over a year later, I’m proud to say I’m a regular at this studio :) On a more personal note, I used to dance as a kid, but have lost touch as I grew older and now the idea of dancing in front of people makes me really nervous. Janice’s classes are somewhat nostalgic and her gentle incorporation of dance moves in the workouts brings out a side of me that I seemed to have lost. Janice is a great instructor, extremely sweet and supportive and it’s an absolute pleasure being her student!

I was visiting from out of town and found the studio through ClassPass. Beautiful studio, friendly owner and instructor and great class! Low impact, graceful ballet moves, but I could feel the gratifying muscle soreness for the next few days! Thanks for a wonderful workout Janice!

Love this place! Janis is the best instructor, I go here at least once a week. The space is super welcoming. She has a great music selection that perfectly goes in rhythm with the exercises. It’s nice because each one gets gradually more difficult and it is optional. I wonderfully had no idea what bar was before I went, and I was so wonderfully surprised at how fun it was and also a great workout. Highly highly recommend this place!

The instructor (owner) is not professional at all. She was just rolling on the floor. Not recommended! Don't waste your time and money.

This barre studio is so beautiful and aesthetic. The instructors are amazing and the owner is so kind. They guide you step by step through the process of the poses and really show care and help you out when they see you struggling a bit. They have fun themed barre nights and have fun events during some of the holidays. They even have a little tea and coffee bar to relax after a class. This studio is perfect for all levels of your fitness journey. Perf for the ig girlies to! 🩷

More people need to know this place! Spacious, clean and local run. Super fun and challenging classes, you definitely will get a workout here. Ample street parking and conveniently located across from rwc target on el Camino real.

The only suggestion I have is to give different name/level. Currently all classes are all under one name ‘barre class’ which makes it hard to assess the difficulty/style of the class.

After having tried out barre classes at other locations on the mid-Peninsula, Wild & the Barre has become my weekly destination for barre classes. Up until a few months ago, I thought barre workouts were never going to be my cup of tea, but, my recent experiences at Wild & the Barre have changed that opinion. I was so excited after my first class that I ended up buying a 10-class card pack.

Natalia has designed this beautiful welcoming studio, and the instructors (Janice and Vena) meet you where you are so that their 50 minute program is not only fun (and a great workout) but feels accessible to anyone regardless of where they're at. I have not taken advantage of this yet, but, they also have a separate playspace for young children while the adults are in class.

I've been to Barre classes down in Menlo Park and up to Burlingame and this is my favourite place by far! The teachers are all incredibly thoughtful and kind while pushing you to your limits. There's even a play area where I can bring my kiddo! The space is open, spacious and lit with natural light from the skylight, just stunning!

The studio was like a breath of fresh air. It is spotlessly clean and the large skylight with plants gives you an indoor outdoor feel. The classes I have taken are great strengthening and toning workouts! I really enjoy the owner Natalia as well.

I’ve been to several classes here and they have all been high quality. The studio itself is beautiful, and with hanging vines and natural sunlight feels like a little retreat from the urban area. The owners have done a great job with the studio and I hope it gets the love it deserves from the community!

I have been regularly attending (3-5 times a week) classes for about six months now and have gained so much more strength and flexibility than I could have imagined. I am a runner and have participated in a wide variety of workouts over the past few decades but I have found my match at Wild and the Barre. Every single class here has challenged me and has made me feel thankful for Natalia and her team.

The studio is beautiful and serene. The workout is effective. The instructors have different styles and focuses which is really nice because it feels like a different workout from one class to the next.

The coffee is very good! If you let them know before class they can have a cup ready for you as your class ends. They have all of the details down pat! They make an effort to keep the classes small so that the instructors can give good feedback. They care so much about each clients' experience. They ask after every single class how it went. My answer is usually the same, it was painful and hard but I needed and loved it.

This is so much more than a barre studio to me. This is going to sound dramatic, but I spend more time here than anywhere other than my house so it feels like home. It is very easy (and affordable) to book for a private class/party. I threw my recent birthday party here. Natalia is very responsive and worked hard to make everything perfect. Natalia, Anna and Raymond went above and beyond to make it so memorable. My friends had so much fun. I'm not going to lie, at one point a few of them wanted to kill me for bringing them to a place where they would burn so good :). I plan to do it for all future birthdays. They let me store champagne and orange juice in their fridge to have after class. Raymond made his amazing coffee for us. Everything went smoothly and felt so special.

It's wise to come a little early to make sure you find parking on El Camino or in the Target parking lot.

Tried this place out recently. Here are my thoughts:
1) no parking, only street parking in a neighborhood without much parking available.

2) I went barefoot for a cardio-heavy class on the mat. The proprietor insisted I buy her socks for $20. What a ripoff. And the socks were completely unnecessary for this class that was entirely on the may. And nowhere I can recall in the sign-up procedure did it say that if you don’t come with socks you will be forced to buy theirs.

3) there were only 2 people in the class (a 9:30am class on a weekday), which was ok but a bit awkward.

4) the instructor was rather stoic and she did not demonstrate more than one “level” of difficulty. There were several moves that both I and the other woman there could not perform, but she just kept doing her own thing without offering modifications. She
did a number of positions I’m quite sure are outside of the comfort zone of the vast majority of women, including full splits without demonstrating some compromise that’s doable for women with tighter muscles or sensitive knees.

I am in decent shape, do yoga daily and cardio a few times a week, and I was pretty serious about ballet when I was young (although this class was in no way ballet-like). I also have above average flexibility. So this class was definitely not friendly for all levels.

I did get a workout though.

UPDATE: Proprietor contacted me and offered to bribe me to take this review down. Ouch.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Wild and the Barre! I started going when they opened up in June and can’t wait to return! By far the best and most enjoyable barre workout! The space is super cute, clean and the studio offers a coffee/ tea bar - perfect for after an early morning class! The barre structure/class format will have you seeing results fast! The instructors are talented, incredibly helpful, encouraging and supportive (Jasmin and Aurora)! Natalia, the owner, is super sweet and ensures that you have a pleasant experience.

Hope to see you guys soon!

I had my very first Barre class EVER at the park today, and it was a great experience! I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis earlier this year, and I've been looking for ways to improve my balance and core strength. The class was very challenging, but I was able to (and encouraged to) modify as I needed to. Jasmine was wonderful with helping to push me further, but also understanding that I needed to scale back. All the covid safety precautions were in place and I felt very safe. I will be going back to the park again and also trying their virtual classes.

So glad that I attended both of Asha’s classes this past week. Asha delivers an above and beyond level of teaching and engagement. Her classes are challenging, unique and sooooo much fun. The time flies by and after 50 min. the burn feels good. Her energy and intensity is infectious. Asha is authentic, engaging, loves what she does, delivers really value from beginning to end and genuinely cares for everyone in her classes. Thank you Asha! Great workout and wonderful experience!!

I have been going to Wild & the Barre since it’s opening in June. I just wish I could go every day because it is amazing! I have been in classes with 3 instructors total and they are excellent, highly qualified, super professional, engaged, and they make sure you are doing the exercises in the right way. The studio is beautiful with all the equipment brand new, very well maintained and cleaned. The instructors wear their masks at all times and during checkin they take your temperature and make sure we are at least 6-10ft apart. Classes are not crowded which makes you feel extra safe. If you like working out with elastic bands, pilates balls, weights, and or simply the barre, you have to join the studio. Highly recommended!
