Welp, my boy and I have gotten sick 2 of the 3 visits to Wild Gym. They claim to clean but I’ve watched classes end and finish and not seen any cleaning. Sickness happens but at a place like this, they should go the extra mile.

Terrible experience at Wild Child. I saw a free-play class online, called three times with no answer, and drove 35+ minutes with my toddler only to be told it was “members only” — something not listed anywhere. My little one left in tears. To top it off, the front desk staff was rude, apathetic, and completely unhelpful. Huge waste of time and such a disappointing first impression.

I have been taking my grandson to the Wild Child Gym in Culver City since he was 7 months old. It is one of the best experiences that he and I have shared since moving to the area two years ago! The staff is amazing (special shout-out to Coach Ben-Na-Ni and to Coach Audrey) and wonderfully kind and patient with the kids; the facility is always clean and welcoming; and it is a great way to meet other children and families in the area. I highly recommend the Wild Child Gym - and am very grateful for this resource in the community!

Took my daughter to a birthday party a few weeks ago which was in a word, 'OK.' It wasn't that there was anything wrong with it, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary and a lot of the kids were wandering around bored after the first 30 mins. There just wasn't enough to keep them engaged. I'd go back if it was a rainy day for something to do but being honest, there are far better gyms on the Westside.

I then emailed when I saw on Instagram they had a waitlist for a new baby class. Turns out it's a list they're creating to see who's interested in a class that may - or may not - be happening.

Verdict - Underwhelming. If you have nothing to do with your kids, this place is 'fine'.

We discovered Wild Child back in September when the little one was about 9 months old. He’s an only child and was very attached to his parents. He cried at every class, but we kept taking him consistently. He turned 1 just before the new year and started 2025 as a completely new kid. Because of the LA fires (and the sudden necessity to entertain him indoors while the air quality was bad), we signed up for the Unlimited Class Package. Boy was it worth it —so much so that we’re continuing to do it the following month. Since it’s only a ten minute walk from home, we practically live at Wild Child, which has brought him so close to Coach Ben-Oni (who also practically lives there). She has endless energy and good vibes, and he adores her. She’s fantastic with kids of all ages, as we’ve witnessed at the Wild Play times. We feel so lucky she’s there. All of the other coaches are lovely, and our boy has warmed up to them as well. It’s a great place for babies/kids to not only socialize with their peers but also with new adults, since the parents/nannies are always present. Having this space has done wonders for our little one’s development and confidence. Thank you Wild Child!

It's been a couple years since we've lived in Los Angeles, but we have such fond memories of classes at Wild Child. My son attended the 2yo class weekly and gained so much confidence in his movement and independent play. Wai truly is a child whisperer and got my kid to try all sorts of physical activities he was hesitant about before. My son also became very close with all the other instructors, who made sure to heap loads of individual attention on all kids in attendance.

I've been really struggling to find a similar place now that we're on the East Coast. Wild Child is truly one of a kind.

We hosted my daughter’s 4th birthday party at Wild Child this past weekend and had an AMAZING experience every step of the way! The prep call gave me clarity on what to expect and some great ideas for food and favors for our guests. The staff provided 5-star service before and throughout the event. It was so nice to get to enjoy the party and not worry about the actual execution as every detail was handled so seamlessly. Would highly recommend as a destination for kid’s birthday parties!

My kids love this place, my son is always wanting to go to “the place with the big green hill.” We have also attended a winter and summer camp through Wild Child and while I wish the hours were longer my son has had a fantastic time. So glad to have this resource so close to home.

My niece was in town over the weekend and we were looking for fun activities in the rainy weather over the weekend here in Los Angeles, and had an incredible experience at Wild Child.
She has yet to start daycare, and so the experience to be around other kids of her age was a little intimidating for her at first, but the staff was incredibly welcoming, and she had the best time. With an extra great nap at the end of it! Making sure I book her in again when she’s back in town !

This gym is absolutely perfect for my "wild child"!!! We love the classes and are so impressed with the curriculum and structure. Super fun being able to get in there and be involved with my little guy in a safe space to tumble and play together. And the music is great too!

Wild Child Gym has bought us many hours of joy! Our daughter loved the classes and free plays when she was preschool age and really bonded with the instructors. When she was in Kindergarten, we had her birthday party there and they kept a bunch of 6-year-olds thoroughly entertained. The space is gorgeous- it's clean, well-maintained and the neutral colors are visually pleasing. They have a cute shop attached, where we have purchased some great gifts and books.

Genuinely ridiculous... soooo many safety no nos that could EASILY be fixed yet hasn't been - including but not limited to concrete flooring?!?! For kids??? What?? Way over priced for the experience and very loud. Would highly recommend any other place for your child. *edited here* THIS is not a spam response as there is concrete immediately as you walk in where there are kid chairs. MY child fell from one of the slippery chairs on the concrete flooring and was offered ice as a repair. Immediately started off as a bad experience and unfair to say there is not concrete on the ground when there 100% is. Anyone who walks in is immediately standing of concrete.

My kid loves this place. It was raining and my 2 year old needed to burn off some energy. I looked at the schedule and saw his age group had a class that morning. Signed him up for the session, it lasts 45-minutes. He loved it and had so much fun. It rained the next two days and did a drop in class the next two days as well.

He loves the hill (mountain?) they have there. He had so much fun with the staff. Vie (Vy? I don't know how to spell their name) I think is my kids favorite of the staff.

I saw a previous review saying it's unsafe, dirty, and a ripoff. I can't comment on the ripoff as that's subjective but not once did I feel my child was unsafe. As for it being dirty, I saw them vacuum and disinfect after class each day so I would say it's as clean as it can be when dealing with kids.

It was a lot of fun playing with my kid there and seeing him have so much fun that I bought 3 gift cards to give to friends who also have young kids.

This place is WILDLY unsafe, dirty, and a complete rip off. Paid $40 for a drop in “class” and left after 10 minutes. Reviews just have to be paid for. It’s the only explanation. The flooring is CONCRETE. CONCRETE!!! What??? Safety foam around hard edges of structures all ripping apart, glue exposed. A giant thinly carpeted “hill” propped up a wall with no safe way for adults to help kids up or down, no safety railing, and parts of the carpet seams coming up with nails exposed. (!!) You’ve got to be kidding me. Exposed rafters have never been cleaned, ever- each one had about 5 inches of dust stacked on them, drifting down all day. Spiderwebs galore. All white surfaces brown from overuse. Music so loud you can’t hear your child calling you. Merchandise marked up to a degree that is outrageous. I have purchased some of the same toys for literally a third of the price- like a three pack of figurine toys I got for $10. This place split the set apart and marked them individually for $10 each.
Stay away if you like your kids teeth to stay in his mouth. I mean seriously…concrete floors for a toddler class????? Don’t sign that liability waiver.
This is a big city…you’d think they would try harder when choices are limitless. They are certainly making enough money off people to afford better. Horrified.

Went for a 3 yo birthday party. I can't give it 5 stars because I think that the adult area was very small and it felt very crowded. Other than that, it's a yay for me! Would love to come back soon.

Aesthetically pleasing to the eye for parents but what it provided in aesthetics it lacked in substance.

The gym was practically empty apart from a couple of ropes and a slope the kids could climb up but my daughter was bored after one or two goes.

The teachers seemed very young and inexperienced too and it certainly didn't live up to other gym classes we've been to.

The gifts were also overpriced.

My toddler daughter loves it, favorite part of her week. I like that their structure encourages imagination and building new physical and emotional skills, it's something additive to going to the park, etc. Staff is amazing and every week is different, and it's so clean!

I wanted to like this place so badly after moving to the area but I was very disappointed.

Their equipment is no where near what I expect from a ‘kids gym’ and they try to get around that but it just doesn’t hit the spot. The class we attended included a puppet show which confused me as I thought it was a movement class and my son wasn’t engaged at all.

The owner, Ali (I think that was her name) was also unpleasant and I’ve since heard from other moms that they’ve had the same experience.

This place is all hype and no substance. I will say there was a very sweet girl who works there who was lovely to my son, hence why I’m giving them one star.

If you’re looking for a kids gym class, there are tones of others which are incomparably better.

Really enjoyed the structured class for our eleven month old crawler (in the movers class - classes based on age and have sign up capacity, which you can check online on their website). A nice balance between free time to explore the different centers and movement opportunities around the space, as well as time to engage in an opening and closing circle and specific activities throughout the class (balancing, climbing, crawling, sensory exploration, and sliding). Also a really nice way for kids and families to connect. $38 drop in or $125 for four structured sessions and four unstructured (free gym time but all ages up to 8, I think, so might not be as great for the little ones?). The indoor class is 45 min and the outdoor one at Carlson Park is 30 min. The four week pass is billed monthly. Don't forget to wear socks (but if you do, they have some for you). Masks required indoors.

They also had a cute gift shop.

Stroller parking inside. Car parking - on street or at nearby garage around the corner (first hour is free and $1 for every 30 min after that, I believe).

This is one of the best organized birthday parties I have attended for my son who is 2 and we have been to a lot of parties! Brian led the party and he and his staff did a wonderful job!

They kept a bunch of 2 year olds engaged in many games and activities. They had parachute, a puppet show, and more! They have many items for kids to climb and crawl through as well as lots of fun secret hiding spots.

I don't venture out to the Culver City area that often, but this place is definitely fun to check out if you are in the area!

Very imaginative play-exercise space for toddlers, with a perfect balance between creative free exploring and structured games. Very nice well lit space, with a great natural vibe. My little three year old was organically attracted to the space from outside and then we saw a class listed on Kidspass. What a fun afternoon, for the spirited kid that doesn’t like constraints this is an ideal place. Our session closed with a puppet show and hours later our daughter still was reminiscing about it. Taylor made to a child’s imagination.

I love this place. I walked by it and finally went in. It's a little gym with classes for different age groups. They do age appropriate activities with the kids, like exercises and imaginative play. Vy (spelling?) is terrific with kids. My son just loves him and he's great with all the kids. I highly recommend looking at the website and seeing if it might work for you.
