I tried to sign my daughter up for a trial class, but the process was confusing and unprofessional. Their website said to call to schedule a trial, but when I called, they just sent me back to the website and to check for availability there. The site showed one spot available, but when I tried to book it, it only let me register for the same day after the class had already happened.

When I called again, the staff member said there were actually no spots and two people already on the waitlist (contradicting the website). She admitted they had already called those two people, yet told me I’d have to keep calling back myself instead of offering to follow up — even though they had my info. When I politely said, “No, thank you, it just seems like a lot of effort,” she hung up on me.

That showed me they aren’t interested in new customers, and I wouldn’t want my daughter in an environment with such poor communication and customer service.

My toddler had been happily enrolled and just received her one-year milestone award earlier this month, so I was surprised when, the following week, her name was missing from the class chart. Naturally, I walked up front to inquire, with my energetic little one confused and wondering why she wasn’t joining her friends.

The staff member I spoke to, Jennifer, didn’t seem eager to help, and I had to push a bit to get clarity while also managing my toddler. After some back and forth, she discovered that a payment didn’t process because of a misspelled name/email in their system-so I was never notified and my daughter was removed from the program. Despite this being a system error, we were placed 8th on the waitlist, meaning she’ll likely miss out on the entire summer session.

While I understood the system error, I was taken aback by the lack of empathy or effort in resolving it. I was given the name and number of a supervisor, Tabby, and despite leaving a message through my husband who I felt maybe would be dealt with more compassion, weeks ago, we never received a call back. I even followed up again after a mom friend who originally referred us encouraged me to advocate for my child.

During the follow-up, another staff member who answered at Lake Forest was more understanding and sympathetic, even pointing out that Jennifer was a floor supervisor herself-which confused me since she escalated it to someone else. I left my name and number again, but still no response.

I’m not looking for special treatment-just communication, understanding, and a fair resolution for an error that wasn’t on our end.

It’s disappointing to feel ignored, especially when this place had been such a positive space for my child up until now.

My daughter practices gymnastics in this terrible environment. Every time she walks into gym. it very stinks. It's just because it's close to our house and my daughter loves gymnastics, so I'm very tolerant. During the class at 5:10 this afternoon, my daughter's face was scratched by the equipment. She came to me crying. She didn't have a coach to accompany the 8-year-old girl at the time. Then I found the coach, his name is Charlie, and he had an indifferent look on his face and didn't even say sorry. Then I found their manager, a lady named Emily, and her attitude was that it was normal for gymnastics to be damaged. I said you put equipment that shouldn't be in this place, causing the child to be injured. She knew it, and she spoke arrogantly. I don't know if she was restricted by us being Asians. In short, this place stinks and the quality of the service teachers is also very poor 👎🏻

My daughter has been at Wildfire for many years and it has been wonderful! The facility is immaculately maintained, the coaching staff is positive and well trained, the programing is developmentally appropriate, and the cost is fair.

We enrolled our child at wildfire Gymnastics in Tustin, but unfortunately, it’s been a very disappointing experience. There are several issues with this facility that parents should be aware of before signing up.

First, if your child prefers consistency with their coach, stay away from this place. Coaches are constantly being switched, often every other week. It’s very frustrating for kids who are trying to build trust and progress in their skills. My child was just starting to feel comfortable with one coach, and then they were replaced without any notice or explanation.

Second, the facility itself is in poor condition. The building is old and not well-maintained. We’ve seen cockroaches a few times, which is not only unpleasant but also raises concerns about cleanliness and hygiene.

Third, the coaching quality varies significantly. Some coaches seem uninterested and distracted—they yawn, look around, and barely engage with the kids. They don’t take the time to correct mistakes or guide the kids through their routines. As a result, the children often just do whatever they want at each station, with little supervision or direction.

Overall, while the idea of kids’ gymnastics is great, this place doesn’t meet basic standards for cleanliness, organization, or effective coaching. We’re definitely looking for a better alternative. If you’re considering this gym, I’d strongly recommend exploring other options in the area.

I am not at all satisfied with the trainers of this center. I changed several trainers for my son. They don't pay attention to the children's movements at all, and each child does whatever he wants, which may even be wrong, and the trainers change every few sessions.
In my opinion, do not waste your time at all and do not choose this center for your children.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor services at this club. After submitting a formal complaint about the lack of stable coaches and training programs, which severely impacted my child's progress and interest, I received no response. This neglect and lack of communication are not only unprofessional but also call into question the club's basic customer service principles.
What's even worse is that they are crushing the potential of children, leaving them disheartened and discouraged.
A club that cannot address the complaints and concerns of its members is not worth the trust or money. If you plan to use this club, don't expect them to care about your issues.

My daughter had been asking me to join Wildfire for quiet sometime , as a lot of her class fellows go there . My first impression was just okay. The place was a decent size with a good viewing place for parents. The coaches have been nice .

My 4-year-old was ridiculed, laughed at, and mocked by two of the high school-age-looking instructors. Fortunately, my daughter had no clue of this going on, neither did I until noticed one of them laughing when my daughter fell on her face and was crying for comfort (she is 4, they still need TLC), I got this on video by mistake. Not to mention the blank lifeless face of emotion this newer instructor had with these kids, it was just an easy paycheck to her, you could tell as she counted the minuets until she was off.

Then later on that day at the end they were playing duck duck goose for some reason, and my daughter went to grab the newer instructor's hand and she looked down and saw it was my child and immediately pulled back her hand to hold another little girl's hand. I then started paying more attention the next week as my heart hurt for my child, who thankfully has never experienced this kind of hate before especially from two older girls she could view as role models.

The next week we returned and as I was walking in with my daughter and my 3-month-old, I noticed them making rude comments annoyed that my daughter and I showed up, laughing at us and saying things beneath their breath. I then realized it wasn't just the new instructor but her current one for the past month (they seem to go through teachers a lot as my daughter has been here for almost 10 months and this was her 5th teacher). Anyway, fast forward to the warm-up, I love watching my daughter, so I try to watch her as much as possible. The new instructor noticed me and alerted the other instructor, leading to more mockery and laughter. Their behavior reminded me of high school drama and made me uncomfortable as a father just trying to support his child. I was there to watch my 4-year-old grow in her skills which makes me swell with pride as a father. They act extremely annoyed when I watch and am attentive to what my daughter is doing, a little weird but more normal when you don't have conversation skills which is what they both lacked as i never once got feedback for my little girl.

Then later on I watched them get on the tall balance beam and help each little girl all the way across. My daughter was the only girl ignored and not supervised as she walked across twice alone, and I couldn't help but feel they wanted her to fall and get hurt because they like to laugh at her in pain. The instructor's face of my daughter was of straight disgust in the video and noticed me recording and immediately went to tell the newer instructor what I am doing and laughed, extremely unprofessional.

As a father, this broke my heart, and I decided not to confront the instructors' children who were maliciously targeting my daughter and possibly others. Instead, my wife and I agreed she should address the issue. She discussed the incidents, supported by video evidence, with the manager. The manager confirmed the unacceptable behavior and offered to move our daughter to a Friday class, stating the offenders would be written up, though we are unsure if any action was taken. We have called multiple times for updates, without success.

The gymnastics center's response, likely driven by a desire to retain instructors, was inadequate. We feel uncomfortable keeping our kind-hearted daughter in an environment where such behavior might persist. She loves her instructors and is unaware of the situation, and we want to protect her innocence and confidence. Those responsible should not be teaching children. As a 14-year Active-Duty member who supported the Special Warfare community, this treatment is unacceptable. We will find a new place that will genuinely care for our daughter.

We had a bad experience on the April PNO. We arrived and asked who the coach would be, before I left. We were told that they would find out after the warm up. I was shocked but said okay. We have never been told this. We are always told who the coach is before we leave so we can feel comfortable who we are leaving our children with. Within 3 mins that I was there, my son got run over with a pull cart. He had to ask for a bandaid.

When it was pick up time, my son told me a little girl got hit on the head with a water bottle and she was vomiting. Everyone has to move to a different area. My son’s sandals got lost. He left with one sandal. I took off my shoe and was walking barefoot in the rain. It was raining. He wasn’t given anything to drink. He was told to get water from the fountain. My other son didn’t get food. He said he didn’t want any. I understand kids say that or they forget they need to eat. I would think it’s fair if they put a small slice of pizza in front of him. That way he can’t say later he didn’t get food. He was there for 4 hours with no food. Maybe Wildfire could provide snack for the kids later on? They don’t offer snacks.

I’m very concerned for this child who got injured. It could have been any child. That’s so concerning. I thought it was very unorganized. Based on this experience I would not bring my children here again. They should have make some changes before continuing to have more PNO. Good luck to everyone who chooses to leave their children here.

Manager/Owner - why do you allow your coaches to wear shoes in the same area where young children are expected to go barefoot or wear socks. I do not understand it. I see a good percentage of the parents, with enough sense, to voluntarily remove their shoes. You know why? Because it is common sense and most places require it. These parents, I promise you, are thinking exactly the same as me. Why not set a better example starting with your own coaches. They are potentially bringing in all sorts of bad things on their shoes (feces, germs, viruses, staph, etc) onto the mats where our kids put their bare hands and feet. It's a matter of hygiene and caring about our kids and as simple as a sign and some enforcement. Renewal for us is a no unless we feel like the facility is clean.

This gym has genuinely transformed my daughter's experience, and I am incredibly thankful! After a year at another gym with minimal progress, she achieved tricks she'd longed for within her first week here. The coaches exhibit excellence in both classes, providing authentic assistance in her skill development. Highly recommended!

There are very rude kids that ran and grabbed my kid’s class tools and scratched her. Their parents just sat and saw him do that and do nothing. A teacher saw and did not take action. Very chaos class especially for young kiddos.

Coach Jen is wonderful but the front desk staff in Tustin is usually rude and unhelpful. They could care less about customer service because the classes are too crowded and they don’t mind driving customers away. Don’t go to the desk looking for any help. The coaches are better and answering questions and helping out.

I visited Wildfire to observe my two granddaughters' classes and was quite impressed with the facility. It includes simultaneous classes for all ages and was very interesting to see so many levels of activity. There is an extensive upstairs observation area for visitors. My girls really enjoy themselves and I loved watching.

After a terrible experience at Vibe Gymnastics, I switched and started bringing my kids here for their open gym times to practice their gymnastics. I love that they are clean, consistent, and use a FAIR process to admire the kids to open gym. At Vibe gymnastics, unless you personally know the owner Dillon, don’t expect them to honor their open gym times. Be prepared to always fill out a form for your kids at Wildfire, it takes less than three minutes to fill out, so it’s not a big deal to me.
I’m more than happy to do that considering how considerate and courteous the staff always is.

Went to watch my granddaughter and was very disappointed that at least 6 of the parents couldn't be bothered to wear their masks properly or at all...no one said a word to them and since I'm at high risk I had to miss a lot of her practice...getting really sick of all the "Karens" that don't care about anyone but themselves ! Someone in this business needs to take responsibility for protecting the patrons from the self centered creeps that just don't care ! 5 stars only because my daughter and granddaughter love this place but the safety protocols are horrible.

Wildfire staff truly believe in the potential of all of their athletes. The seasoned coaches are knowledgeable and fun, with two top notch facilities to boot. Besides fun, this team regularly wins competitions at all levels and produces collegiate scholarship athletes, all while having fun. The athletes actually love gymnastics and have a positive environment, which is still not always easy to find in the gymnastics world. If you're looking for a gym, come see what this gym can do for you and your athlete

My daughter has been a student at Wildfire for almost 2 years. the staff was able to break her out of her shy shell to where she is eager to participate during her lessons. I have to thank coach Paris for that. He has a great personality that works well with the kids. Unfortunately we are leaving to join a competitive cheer team which includes the tumbling training. The new team spoke highly of the skills that my daughter already has coming to the team. She could barely do a cart-wheel when she started @ Wildfire!. Amazing job Coach Paris and staff. Will continue to recommend people to the facility.
