WORK is a premier group training fitness studio located in Irvine. Like the name says, it's work! But we have fun too. An expertly designed full body program is taught Monday through Saturday in 55 minute group classes throughout the day. Community driven, our emphasis is on client interaction and encouragement, you're someone special with a name and a story, and we want to know you! We're big on form correction and giving you personalized goals based on what you can do. We believe in building each individual up based on achievement. Take class via class packages or month to month memberships, just be aware, this workout is highly addictive.

WORK is everything I’m looking for in a gym. It’s a giant industrial space, where they focus on functional strength and cardio. From pushing sleds to rope swings, each class is challenging and I push myself harder than I would on my own. They’re also super welcoming and friendly, you really feel like part of a community. I highly recommend WORK!

WORK is an incredible studio. From the moment you walk in there is a warm welcoming feel...before they destroy you! lol. Seriously the classes here really push you to your limit. They are very well designed and flow seamlessly from exercise to exercise. But even better than the exercises are the trainers. They are all excellent (extra shout out to Alyssa). They explain each exercise clearly, let you know its benefits, help correct form, offer alternatives if needed, and most importantly push you to give max effort. Beyond the classes & trainers, the actual facility is super unique. The main room is huge with equipment strategically spread throughout and an nice open center turf to allow for full body movements for groups. The decor fits perfectly with the its name and gives off a personal rather than corporate feel. There are great motivational quotes throughout the studio. Last, but not least the locker rooms are kept in immaculate condition. The bathroom, showers, sinks, and mirrors are all clean and well maintained. They even have hair dryers and toiletries. I love this place! Not just for the workouts, but for the trainers who really take the time to get to know every individual that walks through the doors. They get to know everyone's limits and push them to be greater. The community as a whole makes it easier for me to drag myself out of bed at 4:30am to get my day started. WORK gym follows a well-planned Metabolic Strength Training (MST) method. They seamlessly blend traditional strength training, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and cardio workouts to create the perfect exercise mix. This variety keeps things interesting and ensures a challenging workout.

I have been to many gyms in OC but none compare to WORK. The workouts are designed to be as hard as you want them to be so if you want to train really intensely or just casually if you prefer. The community is very welcoming and uplifting and the trainers are really one of the best parts. They motivate without going over the top if that’s not your style. They provide great tips on form even in the group class setting. Nothing but praise for this gym.

Always an incredible experience here! If you want to skip a boring gym session and actually put in some work, I would highly recommend signing up or at least trying it out for a week. On average, I burn between 500-700 calories per session depending on the category we are working on. Coaches here are very knowledgeable and will help you understand the workouts for the day. Absolutely love this place.

Work is hands down the BEST group training gym in Orange County. Every class is different depending on the day of the week. The trainers are friendly and actually help you to make sure you are doing the workouts correctly. The months rotate from Endurance to Strength to Hybrid (Strength and Endurance) so that you never hit a plateau. Ive been a member there since 2017 and I have yet to find a gym that is better than WORK!

I've been consistently working out at home for the past few years, but nothing compares to the experience of attending an in-person class. It can be difficult to put into writing what is felt when you are partaking in a training session here at Work Training Studio. I consistently enjoy showing up at 6am Monday-Friday because of the energy that is put out in this specific time frame, and the people who show up. Simply put 6am is a vibe that one must experience. When you are working out there is a collaborative competition that takes place where you know that putting out your best effort is going to allow someone else to push themselves to a level of intensity that they maybe didn't think was possible. This is a place where you can push through barriers, and limitations that you put on yourself because the people around you, and the trainers teaching the class are going to bring out the best in you. Every trainer that is on the schedule here brings their own unique energy to the class, and there isn't a time that if for some reason I need to miss a 6am class I am going to skip working out that day because of a different trainer I don't normally take. If you have been on the fence about coming into try a class I would say jump off the fence, and come in!!! Thank you to all the Work Staff, and Trainers that make this place a wonderful place to continue to return to day in and day out.

I’m not even sure how to express how much I love WORK training studio. I have always wanted to participate in group workout classes so when a friend asked me to try it out with her, I was super excited. After the first class, I was all in! I started my journey at WORK in August of 2023 and quickly was astounded by the authenticity and positivity of the whole community. The trainers/coaches all have such an incredible ability to help us push ourselves to be our best but also provide such warm, caring and genuine encouragement through whatever journey you happen to be on. It sounds silly to say, but I can honestly feel the positivity when I walk through the front door. It’s something I think is extremely special and priceless. I will also say… on a physical level… my energy throughout the day, my sleep, my mood, and my ability to be active with my kids has vastly improved since starting these workouts. I have been consistently exercising at home for the last 5 years before joining WORK, but this community and coming alongside a group of people all working toward the same goals, encouraging each other (genuinely), and being kindly pushed to achieve your best self is something I will never take for granted. If anyone is thinking about joining, I want to highly encourage you to just try it. If you are anything like me, you won’t be able to stay away after your first class! Lastly, I’ll say the workouts are also just fun as heck! We are constantly doing different types of workouts, so it always feels new and fun, the playlists never disappoint, and it’s just such a fun way for me to start my day! I've been hitting up WORK for a few months now after taking a gym hiatus for a couple of years, and let me tell you, I LOVE WORK!!! I found out about WORK last summer and after one class I was hooked. WORK has all the benefits of other fitness classes, but at another level. The coaches are beyond motivating and truly want you to perform at your best — whether that’s by giving modifications, corrections on your form, or pushing you to do more. The classes and weekly workout split are intentional; you could go everyday without any one part feeling overworked. My only regret is that I only found out about WORK last year and have missing out on all of this for years of workouts before now.

I have been to several workout studios in Orange County that offer group fitness classes, and WORK is the most welcoming. The PEOPLE make this place - the community of members and coaches.
The enthusiasm and support will keep you coming back for more. There's a well-enforced high-fiving policy at WORK. I literally high-five people outside of “work” thanks to this place.
I also appreciate the coaches' willingness to provide basic and advanced moves for every exercise to accommodate all skill sets. They genuinely want you to be better, but when you're having a bad day, there's room to just come in, move, and leave.
While you can go to any workout studio and get an effective workout, you cannot replace a welcoming community.
Shout out to the amazing coaches and staff here. Coach Anthony Fernandez and Coach Lyss make this place fun, and Alyssa G. at the front desk is the absolute sweetest!

After trying nearly all the group fitness classes in the Irvine/costa Mesa/newport area AND testing out a couple gyms… I finally found the best place in OC! Work training studio had been on my radar due to some friends recommending it but I was hesitant because so far my group class experiences hadn’t been great (trust me I really did the leg work with other local studios.) I was constantly met with extremely overcrowded classes, trainers unable to help modify some exercises, intimidating environments, unorganized studios, injury due to trainers unable to help in the over crowded environment OR simply programs that were over complicated & not well planned. With all this being said, WORK is none of these things!!! It’s such a welcoming environment with trainers who pay attention and genuinely care about injury prevention & progress. The whole staff makes it a point to get to know you, welcome you and provide amazing workouts. The vibe of every workout is fun, positive, motivating and you get your butt kicked in the best of ways. It doesn’t matter if your on day one of a fitness journey, coming back from injury or pretty advanced. The workouts and trainers can cater to all levels & bodies. They’re always mixing up the programming and adding in new opportunities to grow (it’s never the same old movements or basic HIIT a lot of other studios do.) I also love how flexible their class opportunities are and how accommodating the staff is if you need to make changes. As a mom coming back from multiple surgeries and feeling lost trying to get my health back, WORK has provided such a safe space for me to feel strong and confident again. And it’s a huge plus that my husband who is much further along in his fitness journey than myself, can go to class with me and we both are met at our levels with phenomenal workouts. I very much appreciate Anthony Hayes for giving me the extra push to try a class and trainers Olivia and Anthony F for motivating me and taking care of me. There isn’t another studio in OC that I loved even half as much as I love this place.

I 100% recommend anyone who is even the tiniest bit curious to come and check out Work. The coaches and community are so supportive, and the classes are really challenging. There’s a different focus day-to-day like most strength studios, with an additional core class on Tuesdays and glutes/hamstrings on Thursdays so you could really take 8 different classes throughout the week, rest on Sunday, and do it all again. It’s killer, but I feel stronger and happier every time I leave.
Also, their filtered water tastes really good and comes out cold. I know that sounds minor, but when you’re tired and sweaty it’s magical.

Having a really good time coming to this studio for my weekly HIIT classes. The routines can be tough, but extremely rewarding--mostly due to the help of my instructor, Anthony. He explains the exercises thoroughly and is also very attentive during the sessions. The rest of the staff is also very friendly and contributes to a very positive gym environment. The facilities are also very clean and have all necessities for a workout. Overall, if you dont mind a challenge I recommend this place!

Amazing! I have taken many classes with Anthony F. and one with Anthony H. They are fantastic. I love how welcoming and friendly the staff is here and the instructors make an effort to get to know you by name. I want to like this gym; the trainers are great, and the workouts seem well-thought-out. Unfortunately, there is a group of members that, for some reason, is present in every class I have attended so far. They decide to catch up with each other and talk at a loud volume, to the extent that you cannot hear the instructor do the demo and break down the workouts.
For that reason, I cannot feel safe here. Sure, the trainers come over and help out, but they can't assist every single person because a group of members decides to interrupt the demo with their conversation. It's so distracting and just takes you out of the element of being able to enjoy the workout because you are afraid you are doing it wrong and will injure yourself.

My husband and I LOVVVVVE this place. I was a D-1 soccer player and have missed functional training and being pushed ! They are so encouraging at the same time they hold you accountable and ask you to get 100+1 % effort. I love this place. WORK is really a special gym unlike any I've been to before. From the moment you walk through those doors for your first class, all the trainers and desk staff make an effort to get to know you. The workouts are intense and well-planned. Each day has its own focus, and your only requirement is to show up, listen, and give the effort. The trainers do a wonderful job getting to know each client, helping them with different exercises, and pushing them to be their best. I received an email stating, “Congratulations on your 20th class!” Thanks to today’s technology and the owners attentiveness, the studio knew it was my 20th class. I tried the WORK Online Live Stream out of curiosity (or possibly because of my own boredom). I tried classes with several different instructors. During the live stream, the exercises were listed on the side of the screen and the demonstrations from the instructors can be viewed from different angles to ensure participants can understand the proper form. All of the instructors were welcoming and each had his or her own style of teaching. All of the instructors were extremely attentive to all the participants and the modifications were given. The background music was at the perfect level. I could hear the instructions but was still motivated by the music. The set-up team working behind the scenes is incredible, and all of the workouts were very well written. I would definitely recommend the WORK Online Live Stream to anyone who is wanting to be both physically and mentally challenged!

The silver lining of the pandemic is that I found this place (otherwise I probably would not have known it since I am not in the area.) There are a lot of gyms in Orange County to choose from, but to me Work is the best out of all of them. You are immediately family here and the Workouts every week are tough but doable. I was always hesitant to hiit style gyms due to not a strong focus on form and lack of strength training, but this gym changed my view on that they have a great balance of different styles of training and the trainers are engaged and encouraging and ensure you’re pushing yourself while maintaining form. I’ve been going to WORK Irvine for a little over 2 years now, at one point 6 days/week. The place checks a lot of boxes. Great/clean facilities, towel service and well stocked men’s locker rooms. What makes this place so exceptional in my opinion is the format. Phenomenal instructors providing a new and unique workout routine every day, targeting all major and minor muscle groups in a fun and high energy environment. No shuffling around a big box gym aimlessly with no direction. I was a little overwhelmed my first few classes but always got the attention and help I needed. The program really works and if you go consistently you will look and feel great. If you have a primary sport or are an athlete - WORK incorporates a lot of dynamic movement and body weight exercises. Great value all around and I feel lucky to have discovered this place.

This place is great! Everything about this place is professional and top notch. These classes will challenge and push you to give it all you got. They continue to grow and evolve with the times, new classes, new exercises and different formats keep your muscles growing.
The friends I’ve made makes this place not just a gym but a second family. They care about the whole you. If you’re looking for a challenge and want to have fun doing it...come take a class in person or online. You won’t regret it.

The crew at WORK are some of the best people around.. They have tons of energy, spirit and knowledge of the working body. They find the perfect workout for each body type. They inspire me to be the "best I can be" at any level of ability or endurance. The variety of classes and spirited personalities of the staff make WORKing out a fun thing to do. JUST DO IT.

I’m so happy my wife and I found this gym as we are pushed to maximize and gain results while feeling part of a community. When we first started coming here, we thought we would take it slowly 1-2 classes a week but with the great training sessions and better trainers, we quickly realized we wanted to come in as many times as possible. The entire staff have been awesome getting to know each person who comes in. Glad I’m part of the WORK community, and can’t wait to go to more classes!

If you're looking for a place that will challenge you in ways you never thought possible, look no further! WORK is hands down the best gym in OC. It's not just a gym, but an awesome community built by some pretty amazing people.
I've been a member at WORK for 5 years now and I can say with 100% confidence this place helped me get into the best shape of my life. The classes are fun but incredibly tough (seriously, they have not gotten any easier after 5 years), and the trainers will constantly push you to challenge your limits.
Everything about this place is addicting--the classes, the trainers, the community, the camaraderie. Once you start, it's hard to stop! WORK has truly been life changing. So incredibly grateful for this place and for all the amazing people I've met along the way. Thank you WORK for all that you do!!!!
