WundaBar is wonderful! I’m so glad my friend invited me and introduced me to it. I'm used to the traditional reformer so using this machine and being able to jump and use the ballet bar and the pilates chair and all the things all in one class is very cool. I like anywhere I can get a good workout, and this place definitely delivers. I need an instructor who’s skilled, pushes me, and brings great energy — and WundaBar has all of that. The studio is super clean and organized, and I always leave feeling strong and accomplished. The atmosphere is a little different from the studio I usually go to, but not in a bad way — just a different vibe that I really enjoy. Hilary is an amazing instructor. Dakota is like a silent assassin 😅.....very unsuspecting but you will get a werk-out! I spelled it like that on purpose!

Wundabar Pilates Pasadena is truly amazing!
The studio has such a welcoming and calming vibe. Clean, bright, and beautifully designed. Every instructor I’ve worked with is knowledgeable, encouraging, and makes sure you’re getting the most out of every session. The workouts are always challenging in the best way and leave me feeling stronger, more centered, and refreshed.

They do a great job tailoring each class to your level. It’s easily become one of my favorite places in Pasadena for both fitness and self-care. Highly recommend!

I've been wanting to start pilates for several years and finally got my start at WundaBar in Pasadena. Hillary was very welcoming and advised me on which classes I might want to take due to my beginner (and not very flexible) status. They offer a free introductory class which I took just to see if I even liked it (which I did). So far, I'm five classes in and have been mixing up classes including the flex class. The vibe is relaxed and the instructors give you pointers to improve your posture to make for a more effective movement. The classes are smaller which I like. The place is clean and relaxing. I already feel like my body is responding in terms of strength and flexibility. Those smaller muscles are finally getting some use. Five stars from me.

I've been coming to Wundabar Pilates for the past few years, and it's truly the only Pilates studio I go to. Every instructor here is fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and always bringing thoughtful guidance and great energy to class.

What sets Wundabar apart is the custom reformer machine designed by the founder. It’s an incredible piece of equipment—more supportive and versatile than traditional Pilates machines. With it, I feel grounded, capable, and strong, rather than like I’m balancing on a delicate branch. The variety of movements keeps both my mind and body engaged, which I really appreciate.

After class, I consistently feel not just stronger, but more spacious and lengthened. It’s been especially helpful for my hip and labrum tear recovery, offering a powerful yet feel-good experience that supports healing and strength.

As someone in my 40s, I also love that many of the women in class are in their 40s and 50s—it’s such a testament to how well this method supports the body through all seasons of life.

Wundabar is a gem of a studio. I highly recommend it!

Such a great studio! ❤️ Pilates is completely new for me, they made me feel so welcome! I did the unlimited Monthly, Which I’m so glad I did. I’ve been going almost every day, they have a lot of choices as far as schedule, so it always works out well. The studio is very clean, and everybody is very kind and friendly.

I look forward coming to my classes! I’ve seen a major improvement in my mobility in just a few months. Classes consist of a range of non experienced to experienced students. I felt very comfortable in the class even though I’ve never done pilates before. The instructors are sweet and attentive to make sure your posture and form are correct to maximized your workout and minimize injury. Love this place

I have been looking for an exercise program I can stick with and I think I’ve found it! It’s the perfect balance of what I’ve been looking for, the perfect amount of time (45 min… so right around the time I’m feeling over it, it’s over!), and great teachers and music at both locations I’ve been to.

I really enjoy my workouts at WundaBar. I struggle through some of the positions because my knee hurts, but I work through it. I always manage to break a sweet. The instructors are very nice and encourage us.

Pasadena Wundabars was first a Christmas gift voucher from my daughter, it’s unlimited classes for 7 days, in order to take advantage of the “unlimited “, I made to there 3 times within the 7 days period, it was painful as same time wonderful, and I like it right away, because you would immediately felt the difference of your weight, your muscles lines, and your cores are stronger. 45 minutes are perfectly designed. All teachers are good, each with their own style, I like Liza Beres especially. studio is nice and clean, I usually park my car 2 blocks away at Macy’s for free.

Friendly staff, easy to follow directions, the machine really isolates each movement so it feels totally different, more productive. You can't cheat! haha. Loved it! Will definitely be back!

I just love the class in general. You are working out and toning more than one area at a time without even realizing it-until you're sore afterwards, which is a great indication you received a great workout. You never stay on one move for too long which I like, but the pace isn't usually too fast to keep up with.

I originally joined wundabar 4 years ago. I took the free class and never came back because it was hard.

Fast forward to 2017. I learned about the 2 weeks to wunda. I wanted to try it. I sign up for a normal class. The coaches were so nice and helpful, not once did I feel like an outsider. The assisted me as I needed help. I was sore by day 2 but i kept pushing along. I love how 5 straight days of the same class work out different parts of my body. I wish that the classes were earlier to accommodate my work schedule. Will recommend to friends and family. I travel 15 minutes to come here. Parking is a little difficult at times.

I bought a package through Groupon for 10 Wundabar classes. It's a great deal at only $75. They also offer a first class free deal so really, I got 11 classes. If only their regular classes were this cheap...

Wundabar uses the reformer pilates machines. There are exactly twelve machines in this whole place so classes book up fast. They open up registration on the 25th of each month for the following month. They also have a strict cancellation policy. If you don't cancel within 12 hours of class, you lose that class. Also if you pull a no show, you lose the class and they charge you a penalty on top.

The classes will kick your butt. Other than the first class, which I didn't care for the instructor that much, I have left sore each time. They really work your thighs, abs, and arms. You also don't need to wear any shoes or socks for the work out. Everyone works out barefooted.

Parking is all street for this location. There are sometimes parking on Green but I recommend parking on Lake. There's quite a lot of parking in the evenings and weekends. Just make sure you read the sign and pay the appropriate meter if needed. City of Pasadena parking ticket fines are no joke.
