I completed the 6-week bodybuilding challenge at X-Zact Fitness. I have to say I am more than pleased with the coaching and results that I have received. All the Coaches were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and receptive to my goals. Their app is great, and their plan day to day helped me improve, as well as the community of people who use their facilities. It feels great to say I've gained almost 10 lbs of muscle in only 6 weeks. Not only has my body surprisingly transformed, but I also feel mentally stronger. If you're thinking of getting a personal trainer, I would recommend their program. It's much cheaper and hopefully demystifies the subject around weight loss and muscle building.

This place is a scam.

No transparency with pricing. They make you feel bad with these sales tactics to be like oh you need to change, you are fat so they can make a sale. They keep you in the backroom and pressure you to sign a contract and wont let you leave by talking and talking. I rather have someone to be with you to promote even before paying to get into the class. $3000 for 3 months.

I can't thank the team at Xzact fitness enough. I'd been out of the fitness game for so long and was having so much trouble losing weight and building consistency around a demanding medical job-- I saw an ad on Instagram advertising for women in October 2023 and decided to go for their 6 week transformation program. I lost 10 lbs and won back almost 6 lbs of muscle immediately- they helped me formulate macros, showed me how effective weight training can be in weight loss, and provided a fun and welcoming community to be a part of. DeVin has been amazing in movement training and the 5am and 6am classes with Ciera were perfect for my work schedule. I'm down 20 lbs in 11 months and can't wait to see where I go from here. Thanks to Zack Johnson for creating such a wonderful space!! Worth every penny if you're looking to really make big changes in your life. Just completed a relay half Ironman and felt like a real athlete again 💪

The establishment in question falls short of ethical practices and conducts itself in a manner that can be deemed deceitful. Attracting patrons through promotional challenges, the management subsequently alters the program and increases fees without due consideration for their clients' expectations. While the coaching staff display commendable professionalism in executing their duties, the shortcomings primarily stem from the proprietorship.

Upon enrollment, participants are provided with a schedule of classes to attend, only to be met with alterations and escalated costs midway through the program, justified by unilateral decisions from the owner. Disconcertingly, discrepancies in charges amongst challengers and a discernible disparity in treatment towards members and challengers have been reported, underscoring a lack of transparency and fairness in the business's operations.

Requests for refunds elicit contrasting responses, with some challengers promptly receiving reimbursements while others face resistance and hostility, exemplified by the unprofessional conduct displayed during interactions with dissenting clients. Such conduct not only reflects a lack of business acumen but also hints at a culture of intimidation and coercion within the establishment.

In light of these concerning practices, caution is advised for individuals considering engagement with this gym. The demonstrated unprofessionalism, inconsistencies in pricing, and apparent disregard for customer satisfaction, along with bullying, and putdowns warrant a prudent approach to avoid falling victim to what appears to be manipulative practices within the business. I can assure you that all the positive reviews posted are by members who were not treated with discrimination & disrespect. I have copies of all communications on my part that do not reflect aggressiveness, but rather direct assertiveness along with proof of the owners discrepancies, putdowns, & aggressive
threats including the strong arm emoji.

Great gym if you need to be pushed and stay motivated. I Enjoyed that they had early workout classes that was quick and effective. Having Ciera as a trainer was a great experience, she explained things well and focused on proper technique. After the 6 week challenge I lost 13 pounds of fat and gained 8 pounds of muscle. I am happy with my results and encourage anyone that's looking for a change to give it a try. Thanks to x-zact fitness and employees I had a good experience and feel much better overall.

I always was bad at going to the gym or working out at home so decided to join X-Zact. Zach and the team was great and informative on what I needed to achieve my goals with exercise and diet. Cassie and Jessie have been great trainers the past 6 weeks and I added muscle and lost body fat more than I ever have before. Dev showed be some great stretching exercises to help with my tight hamstrings and calves that made a noticeable difference too. Would highly recommend them for the great community and motivation I needed.

I decided on doing the 6 week challenge when I realized my gym habits were getting way too lazy. Balancing work and family life along with gym proved to be a struggle. I’m really glad to have done this challenge, because the trainers and staff are really motivated and driven to help you reach your goals. As with any transformation center, it’s on you to put in the effort and follow the dietary guidelines to yield the best results. The program made me really diligent in my efforts to make early morning workouts and although I could have been more strict with my meal prep, I definitely felt my awareness helped me eat less and be more cognizant of what I was deciding to consume. The workouts are definitely intense but if you push yourself and really try, you feel your energy levels and strength increase and your overall day to day routine will without a doubt improve. I didn't know what to expect originally but I was curious and wanted to check it out. I went in for my consultation with the owner of the gym Zack, and he instantly made me feel like I was at the right place. He was very organized and I was able to get started right away. I did the six week challenge, and what I love about it is that it's more than just working out, they helped me stay consistent, held me accountable, and they also helped me with my nutrition. I enjoy going to all of the classes, and every coach is very nice and knowledgeable. I still have a ways to go but I am now a finished with the challenge and, I joined as a member so I can continue my weight loss journey.

I found this gym by accident, and I’m sure glad I did! I just completed a six-week challenge with good results and a desire to keep up healthy habits I’ve developed. This place let me down. I was supposed to have an appointment 2 weeks ago. When the appointment came around, they called me saying that I wasn't in the system. They asked if we could reschedule, so we rescheduled for the following week, which was on Tuesday. I went there for my appointment, but when it was time to be seen, they told me again that I am not in the system, even though we were supposed to have an appointment that day. This place is great, has kept me on track compared to me having my own gym membership but not really ever feeling motivated to go or simply lost as to what I should work on or do. Wife and I have been attending for a few months now and we have both really enjoyed X-zact. We each go 2-3 times per week, mostly in the morning before work. The classes are fantastic. Always different, always a good workout. Ciera is great in the AM, especially when i'm half asleep. She's always motivating, keeping me going. We love it! I love their methodology, the focus is not only on weight, now they are aware that my purpose is to change habits to have a healthier life.

I have been doing it this way since July, eating healthier, exercising routine three days a week and my body feels it, I have more energy, I see my arms toned (I lack it, but I like what I see) and my legs feel loose.

Did the 6 week bootcamp challenge. Great staff, program and training. Classes were fun and engaging. The apps were tech savvy and added another layer of support and accountability to keep you on your “A”game. Would highly recommend to anyone at any fitness level. I’m entering week 2 of my 6-week boot camp and I’ve already noticed changes in my body’s capacity to make it through the workouts. I can’t say enough nice things about this place! I started off doing a 6 week challenge and converted into a member before the challenge was over. Onboarding with De’Vin and Stef was easy and informative. They’re both really attentive and great motivators! I’ve been doing the semi private classes as well as the boot camps mainly with Cassie and Jessy (both are spectacular!) and class sizes are perfect. They’re both quick to help when I ask how to do a workout, and their playlists are on point! I’ve done one class with Lizette and I’m hoping I can do another if my schedule permits-she’s high energy and pushes you through the class. The atmosphere at X-Zact is really relaxed and not intimidating as some gyms are.

The workouts are always new and challenging and I appreciate them incorporating new equipment like the tractor tires. I highly recommend this place for anyone with any work out experience. I came in as a novice but after 6 weeks I feel much stronger, I have a ton of energy daily, all my clothes are super loose on me now (down 2 pant sizes), and I always feel accomplished at the end of the day. Glad I came across this place and always look forward to working out here!

X-act fitness is a friendly close nit community gym that promises results and delivers them. If you want to get in shape but are busy and don’t know the right place to start, this is it. Staff are friendly and overall offer great workout advice. While more expensive than 24 hour and other similar cooperate gyms, the gyms classes are all in groups of 10-15 people on average and include consultations with a nutritionist. While their current location is not that big, they have plans to expand soon.

My husband and I started the 6 week boot camp program to get our weight loss started before our wedding reception next year. We have tried to go on other fitness classes but they didn’t work. This program is very comprehensive. We have an exercise program, a dietician, an app where you can DM the coaches and the staff AND you see those people in person. All the coaches build a good rapport with all the members and everyone is helpful and welcoming. I already lost 2-3 lbs after 2 weeks. They also have a machine directly that reads your exact numbers broken down in forms of water and fat. They are experts at what they do. I enjoy working with Coach Cassie, Coach Jessie. Shoutout to Stefan who’s awesome with encouraging us every time we are at the gym working out. In total, this program is worth it.

My trainer is Devin. I am 69 y o. He was very thorough in assessing where I am physically currently at. The assessment kicked my tail end, really it was my thighs. My second session with Devin was very good. He is very thorough, explains things very well & has a great enthusiastic positive attitude & approach. I will be learning a lot from him. I discovered this gym off a FB ad and just wanted to see what it was all about and I'm so glad I did. I started their program in October 2022 and hit by weight goals. Now I am down about 20 lbs. The classes helped improve my stamina a lot too. The bootcamps are great and I enjoyed their program so much I decided to do semi-private sessions for strength and muscle building. Saw more results in the last 8 months than I did in the last several years going to the gym.

One of the things this gym really helped me with was my eating/nutrition. I had been working out for years, did cardio, lifted, etc.. but could never really seem to make much movement on my weight. They really help guide you and hold you accountable for your eating which really made a difference, I trimmed down my stomach and people noticed. And this is something that will permanently stick with me. I make more conscious decisions about what I eat and generally eat cleaner now.

All their trainers are awesome too. Joining this gym was honestly one of the best decisions I could have made for my health and well being.

If you’re looking to lose weight and get whooped into shape, I definitely recommend becoming a member of X-Zact Fitness. They have options for boot camps, yoga, and personal training sessions. I wanted to lose weight and didn’t like going to a normal gym since at times you can feel intimated, and I didn’t really have a workout plan. I found an Ad on IG about their gym and decided to check it out. Within minutes of filling out the questionnaire online, I was contacted and setup a time to visit the gym.

From day one of stepping into the gym, I really felt welcomed by Zack and Stef who were great in explaining what X-Zact fitness was all about. After hearing about all the services they provide, I decided to try out their 6 week Boot Camp challenge and was NOT disappointed. I started the challenge weighing in at 189 and finished the challenge at 175 pounds and reduced my body fat by 8% (26% to 18%)!!!

I love how the environment is not like a normal gym where you work out by yourself. You get to do the boot camps with other people and are taught by great Coaches that will motivate you to reach your fitness goals. The class schedules are flexible throughout the week and even classes on Sunday and Saturdays, so there’s no excuses. They have classes in the morning ranging from 5:15am to 9:15am and evening classes at 5:15pm and 6:15pm. I had the pleasure to have Cassie, Ciera, and Lizette as coaches and even did some Semi-Private Sessions with Jessie. They all bring a different style to the classes they teach, but they will all kick your butt and push you to your limits. You can’t go wrong with any of these coaches because they are all personable, fun, and skilled at fitness.

They also have a Nutrition Specialist by the name of De’Vin that will check in with during the challenge to make sure you understand your meal plan and to answer any questions. De’Vin is the man when it comes to Nutrition and provides great insight into tweaking your meal plan to get the results that you want!

This place gives you all the tools and resources to succeed. All you need to do is put in the effort and stay consistent and you’ll be happy with your results!

X-Zact fitness is great! All of the coaches are extremely positive, and will always Inspire you. Stef is flexible and will work with you on a plan if you need one. Cassie is great and is always open if you need help on any assistance with your workout. Lizett is extremely nice, and always keeps up with me. I’m newer to the program almost 6 weeks in and Lizett has been amazing and also an inspiration. Jesse was the first coach I met and his personality and training is awesome. Such a nice guy and will work with your workout plan if you need to work on something different. I tore my Acl and fracture my femur and he helped me work on some other workouts that are a bit lighter on my leg. Scott‘s communication is great, he helps me schedule appts with Steph and if I miss a class during the boot camp then he helps me schedule a new one. I missed a class due to work and he helped me schedule a new class. Devin helps keep me on top of my meal plans and makes sure I stay on top of my game. The workouts help but so does the nutrition program. Thanks so much for everything, I appreciate it all. Definitely going to keep coming after the boot camp program.

My wife and I had to lose weight for our wedding and weren’t sure where to go. We saw the six week challenge as an encouragement to get started. The both of us ended up at X-Zact Fitness.

X-Zact Fitness is the embodiment of what it means to have a personal trainer(s) who really care. From the people there who are encouraging, to each coach watching over you. Coach Stefan, Cassy, Jesse and Zack clearly love what they do and want you to succeed as much as you want to succeed. From my wife and I being skeptical at first, to going through covid half way through, to leniency and hard work both of us have lost a significant amount of weight over a reasonable amount of time (about 2 months). We have also both put on muscle just following the normal workouts provided. X-Zach fitness is more than respectful, inclusive and offers positivity and realism that truly sets them a part from most of the other places I have seen. Though the price may seem steep at first, it is well worth it. Their nutritionist Devon also is extremely knowledgeable and the meals are very easy to make and taste pretty good.

The workouts are tough! You WILL be sweating by the end of it and feeling very accomplished with yourself. Ask the coaches to watch over you and they will help you with form during the group sessions!

Only if you ask!

They also offer personal training on one on ones, though my wife and I did not take that as a tap on I have seen coaches after class clearly know what they are doing with each individual. They also give little challenges on holding bar, running etc after class to see your improvement in test times if you’d like.

Oh and the kicker? Most other workout people there have dropped 1-3 pants sizes that I have spoken to.

They’ve not reinvented the wheel but certainly improved upon it.

I hope this business continues to thrive and that as it grows other people’s experiences keep as good as ours. I would encourage any reader to at the very least, go in and check it out. Go in with an open mind and work hard, you will see results!

If you are a coach or trainer I highly recommend learning from their practice and if you are a customer looking to lose weight go in! You won’t regret the experience. They are extremely responsive and quick to customer service as well.

They will also text you and hold you accountable in a respectful manner if you don’t show up because they want you to succeed.

This gym is well deserving of a five star review. In my experience not only did I drop 10lbs in two weeks but the staff is an absolute pleasure to train with. About six years ago I had my ACL replaced, with the intent to return to playing soccer as quick as possible, but my recovery was far from ideal. Over the course of those past six years, I had compiled injuries, health issues, massive car accident left me with a concussion, spine issues, back issues, COVID happened, gout, and the list goes on. I gained over 20lbs, over the course of six, years with no sign of getting back to playing the sport I love, soccer. I signed up for X-Zact fitness’s six week challenge to get me out of the house, and away from my computer but I got way more than I signed up for. I am back to playing soccer, my back pain is going away, and I am back to having a much more positive outlook in my day-to-day moments. I love this gym! I’ve been going here for a few months and have seen my body composition changing - losing fat and building muscle. Pre-pandemic I did regular weight training at a gym, but stopped when things shutdown and never was successful jumping back in. As 2022 was winding down and the loss of much of my muscle, I needed to find a way to kickstart back into weight training so I joined a 6 week boot camp course at X-Zact Fitness. Not only was it an opportunity to get out of my house, but it was a way to ease back into working out on a regular basis.

I have enjoyed my time at X-Zact Fitness. All the coaches are great to work with and they want to see everyone succeed regardless of skill level. They ensure we understand what the class is going to entail and provide modifications for all skill levels. They build trust and confidence. The coaches give you the tools to be successful and it is up to you what you put in and what you want to get out of it. I have been pleased with the results that I have achieved in the 3 months with a significant increase in muscle mass and reduction in body fat.

This place is a gem because of the family-friendly type of atmosphere. I felt like part of a community here and enjoyed training with X-Zact Fitness. My body underwent a huge transformation in such a short period of time that I lost 4% body fat in month, lost over 5lbs, and gained more muscle in my back and arms.

The coaches were very personable to help you stay on track with nutrition and exercise. I enjoyed the variety of exercises they had in their workouts, so I never got bored. Before I signed up for their bootcamp challenge, I lacked a lot of motivation through-out the pandemic. These coaches do care to help you stay on track with nutrition calls, motivational messages, and daily tasks posted in an Accountability App.

The only cons I can think of are that this gym is a bit pricey for my budget right now, and it bothers me when classes get too crowded. I did hear that they are planning to offer more class sessions in January to help reduce this problem. Another tip I have for the coaches is to offer more modifications to help make exercises more challenging. I tried to make workouts more challenging by using heavier weights, but sometimes I couldn’t do that because they were already occupied by others. I think once they add more class sessions and there is crowding, this wouldn’t be much of a problem anymore. Overall, I DO recommend this gym 100% to help motivate you to get back into shape. My results were great, and I am so happy and thankful to have tried X-Zact Fitness.

Hands down the best gym in the area! I have been going to this gym for the last 3 months and have done Personal Training with De'Vin and Lizette + group classes with Zack, Cassie and De'Vin. Everyone is friendly and so helpful. Most importantly they make sure your form is correct so as to avoid injuries.

The first time I inquired about the gym, Zack called me and walked me through the different options and that really helped me determine which classes I needed to join. My first class was with De'Vin and he called the next day to check on me to see how I was doing. He gave me ideas on what stretches I needed to focus on to relieve soreness.

This is the absolute best gym in the Bay Area — best value, great culture, and the best trainers. I went through a couple trainers in SF and East Bay before I arrived here and the prices elsewhere were astronomical, and I felt like not much more was gained outside the basic session. I came to X-Zact Fitness to work with De'Vin after my chiropractor recommended him. I needed some help learning how to weight train after a spinal injury, and am so happy I ended up here!

De'Vin was super patient and attentive in always making sure my form was correct, and really took the time needed to make sure that I was training properly to protect my prior injury and also get stronger. I had no prior weight training experience and left after my 12 weeks totally hooked! I'll definitely keep up my routine.

I made an appointment for the bootcamp through their online website and received a confirmation sms. Upon arriving early in the morning, I was told that I had no session scheduled. I showed the confirmation but I was still denied any session for that day. Very disappointed at the lack of professional service shown by xzact fitness. I would not recommend this place.

Update: After my experience, Zack was kind enough to reach out to me to offer some personal training sessions along with the bootcamp. It’s been good working out with Cassie to the beat of some nice high school songs. Overall, this is a good new and upcoming place to workout. I love the individualized workouts I get from my trainers at X-Zack. I’m 65 and haven’t worked out like this in a long time … so I think I’m a bit of a challenge. He keeps me accountable, teaches and advises on the best techniques (my knees and shoulders thank him!), and is very motivational. De'Vin has put a lot of work and effort into my program, and it has allowed me to start reaching my goals (again, I'm only one month in and seeing results!).

A little background on me....I am a former US Marine and being out for 5+ years both Zack and De'Vin have helped me start getting back to my "lean and green days." I can't wait to see my full results at the end of my 3 month plan as I fully expect the results to speak volumes for our goals together.
