I do all of my Private yoga sessions, Restorative, Yoga Nidra and Yin classes in my small, intimate studio where you can feel comfortable and not on display. I have many props and tools to help you into the alignment and depth of posture that is right for your body. I offer aromatherapy, relaxing music, dimmable lighting and candle lit classes with gentle adjustments and Reiki.

Kim’s extensive knowledge in yoga has started to undo a lot the tightness that has built up over decades in my body in only just a matter of weeks. Kim is awesome! She is a patient teacher and an expert in her craft. I started practicing yoga with Kim after retirement, it was a gift to myself. What a game changer! I am more flexible, have significantly less tightness and stiffness in my joints and muscles and I have a l lot more energy. It really helps release the stress life places on our bodies. I highly recommend Kim and yoga, plus her studio is delightful! Try it...you won't regret it!

Having never done Yoga, and being a “guy,” I was hesitant at trying it, but in an effort to improve my health and fitness I decided to give it a shot. But I wanted private lessons to avoid embarrassment. I found Kim through some online research of Yoga studios in the Poway area. From the first session, she has been outstanding!!! I highly recommend her. She really knows her stuff and conveys it in a way that is easily understood and implemented! You won’t be disappointed! I look forward to my weekly sessions with Kim.

I love Yoga-4-U! Kim is a wonderful instructor and I definitely recommend her classes. She offers two classes, Restorative and Yin. Kim’s restorative class is amazing! I have been practicing with Kim for a few months. Right now I practice restorative yoga and I leave every session centered and relaxed. I am a large woman and she always makes me feel comfortable in my skin and helps me get into the poses for optimal work. When i leave each time I feel cherished… she has taken the time to restore my soul! Soon i will begin Yin and I know I have an excellent guide on this next phase of my journey toward a healthy life.

This was my first experience with Yoga. I have had problems with my hips and my knees. Kim was very patient during every single class. She helped me to find out which poses work best for me and design the best program to work with in her studio and at home. Kim is very kind and sweet. She gave me super good tips for daily activities and help me realize some bad habits that I was doing. Her studio is super nice, clean, relaxing and very comfortable. The atmosphere is definitely good for you. This has been a wonderful experience. I had to stop the classes because I am going on a trip, but I cannot wait to return to Kim's Yoga-4U studio.

Kim is one of my favorite Yoga instructors! She is the first teacher who taught me "Yin Yoga", and I really enjoy the deep, slow paced, relaxed and customized poses by her specifically for my body and level of flexibility.
As you know, Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fasciae, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, its goals are awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality. I took my first yin yoga class at Kim’s studio over a year ago. I was immediately impressed with the very small class size and lovely studio. Particularly, Kim’s attention to each student during classes really stood out. Enter COVID and private classes only. I introduced my wife to Kim after her recent knee replacement(s). She was seeking to improve her flexibility after surgery, which has worked out very nicely. Kim’s restorative classes continue to prove to be helpful and very enjoyable for both of us.

Yoga-4U is a small slice of paradise. From the moment you step inside the door, you are welcomed by a sense of peace and tranquility. I am not a flexible person but with Kim’s gently guidance I work my way through the stretches. For me this class is more about ME time, a total escape from everyday life. I have been going to Yoga-4U for a few weeks now. Kim is a great instructor, she is a friendly, funny person who knows her stuff. If you have difficulty in a certain pose, Kim will either show you a different way to the pose or help you through it, bit by bit.
If you won’t go to Yoga because you are self conscious of doing the poses, go to see Kim, she will make you feel at ease very quickly. She will take up to six people at a time, so the class is nice and small. Give her a go, I am so glad I did.

I joined Yoga-4U as a complete beginner for help with my hips and lower back pain and stress. Kim is warm and friendly and has been absolutely fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable and gives great care and attention to her students. I just completed a weekend workshop which was brilliant! I can feel the difference in my body. I have been attending a weekly restorative yoga for almost a year. Kim is the best instructor that I ever met. Her instructions are clear and her voice is calm with kindness. She always tires her best to help her students. After taking the class, I feel relaxed and happy. I am not flexible with any pose. However, Kim will find the best solutions and encourages me to get the benefits from the post. More importantly, she is passionate, kind and full of love. Absolutely love Kim's classes. I have taken her Yin class, which I like a lot, and her Restorative class, which I basically can't live without. The level of personal attention is outstanding. Her guidance through the mental components and meditation exceeds expectations. The space is inviting, quiet, and comfortable. Kim herself is warm and kind. I've taken yoga classes at half a dozen studios, and a meditation class at a medical facility, and Kim's classes are better by far than all of them.

I just completed a Yin Workshop with Kim and it was wonderful! She is an excellent teacher and really cares about you and your practice. I am a beginner and I had no idea how to create a practice that I could do at home. She went through the poses slowly and helped me understand the goal to each pose. I am excited to continue to improve by practicing at home as well as in her classes. I highly recommend her!

Yoga-4U is my happy place! I am so grateful I found Kim and her lovely studio. The studio is intimate, comfortable, and clean and Kim takes great care to make sure that the environment is welcoming and relaxing. After finding her on Yelp, I tried out several Restorative yoga sessions and then, per her guidance, started taking her Yin yoga classes. I switch between the two depending on what I'm feeling like - the Restorative allows me to relax deeply and effortlessly. The Yin classes are a bit more challenging (although never painful or too difficult, by design) but I love how I can feel my flexibility improving with each class. Kim's reiki, massage, and aromatherapies that she graciously sprinkles into each practice take relaxation to the next level. The classes also force you to slow down and be in the moment which I appreciate very much.
The thing I love the most about Yoga-4U is how you can truly come as you are. There is ZERO intimidation factor at this studio so you can completely focus on the yoga and your practice and not worry about any judgement or silly periphery stuff. I would recommend her studio to anyone. Thanks Kim! I'm happy I found your little slice of yoga heaven!

I am going to Kim studio for 1.5. Doing restorative, yin and vinyasa yoga with her and enjoying and getting a full scope benefit! She helped me to get a tradition of home practise and I can do the vinyasa and yin yoga on my own.
In addition not getting the physical but also spiritual level getting the merits of yoga and living more mindfully thanks to yoga & Kim. Each time I go to her studio, I am re-energized as her studio is calming, relaxing and beautiful essential oils that has great scents. I am rejuvenated!

With Kim I was able to adapt in a close coaching and one to one session to learn and love yoga and try different yoga versions VINYASA, YIN... and she is such a wonderful and patient yoga teacher that she never gives up and helps to learn the essence with her passion into yoga.
Thanks to Kim, I have a yoga routine that I cannot imagine living without! As being an business person, I really live the merits of yoga and her teachings that help me success not only my personal life mindfully but also business life!

I have regularly suffered from lower back injuries (slipped discs, pinched nerves, sciatica) for most of my life, and the only thing that has consistently helped me to feel better and stronger has been yoga. After moving to San Diego, I was delighted to find Yoga-4U--and I've attended classes weekly ever since. Kim is a very compassionate and knowledgeable instructor, who clearly gets to know everyone in her classes. Kim has personalized my practice by helping me with modifications to poses in order to improve my flexibility and strength while still being gentle on my back. I started doing Yin Yoga 8 months ago as I have been suffering from a bum knee which needs to be replaced and was frustrated that because of my knee, I wasn't able to do the activities (exercise types) that I was used to doing so consequently my joints, muscles and ligaments were tightening up. Kim's Yin Yoga class has really helped me to maintain my flexibility and provide me with some calm at the end of my days. I really enjoy this class and take it twice a week and practice at home as well. I highly recommend anyone who may have limitations and/or injuries or perhaps is looking for a small, hands on type of non-threatening yoga experience to try Kim's Yoga-4U classes. I have also tried the Yin Nidra and I cannot believe how rested and at peace I felt after this class. Love this place!

I encourage everyone in the group to attend Kim's classes. I attended my first class on Sunday, 03/26/2017 and I was profoundly impacted. Upon meeting Kim for the first time she greeted me with a warm smile and hug. (Aside: Kim gives the best hugs out of any human I know. Her hugs can heal any heart and end a world war.) She was so knowledgeable about the practice of yin yoga and carefully guided us so that each pose was safe and comfortable. Throughout the sequence of postures Kim provided individual adjustments and her touch was healing to the body and spirit. The greatest benefit of my yin session was that I was able to sleep that night when I arrived home! Yahoo! I usually lie awake for hours. The following day I felt full of well being and carried a gentle smile with me wherever I went (It was Monday... this is not a normal feeling). Kim please accept my gratitude in sharing your gifts of teaching with us! I am looking forward to my next class!

I had a 90 minute restorative yoga session with Kim today and I was so pleased that I want to share my experience. Kim's yoga studio is clean, welcoming and calming. There's an assortment of props, water fountain for ambient sound, candles, soothing music and essential oils diffused throughout the session. This session was customized just for me, from the bolsters and blankets used for comfort and support, to the intention used to mindfully connect to my personal experience, right down to the essential oil I was able to select to awaken all of my senses. Kim is also experienced with Reiki and her touch is truly healing and restorative. I've had massages before which have felt good but restorative yoga left me feeling not only relaxed and calm but loved and cared for. I will definitely be back to see Kim because when I feel I am taking care of myself I have more love to give to those I care for.

It's hard to pick what my favorite part of taking classes are at this yoga studio! Probably Kim with her caring gentle hands-on approach and her knowledge of yoga and meditation. She takes the time to get to know each student and their goals and limitations. But the calm transformative atmosphere in this intimate studio is a favorite too! Did I mention the beauty of the super small class sizes? I'm hooked on these Yin classes, the monthly meditation under the stars, and her life changing restorative sessions.
