My daughter did the kids yoga workshop for the second time and she loved it! She particularly loves the aerial yoga and the instructors. Moji and Shana are the best two ladies to teach the kids and they do such a great job. Can’t wait for the next one.

The best yoga experience I’ve ever had. Much different than classes I’ve taken in New England. California is serious about yoga! Carl is amazing. I wish I lived here so I could keep coming! Pleasanton is the cutest town too!

My daughter and 8 friends celebrated her birthday party doing aerial yoga- they had a blast. Moji and Mel organized a fantastic class and the girls were amazed at what they could do! We highly recommend YogaBarn!

I am fortunate to travel regularly and incorporate yoga into every trip. Although I rarely write reviews Mojgan and Yoga barn absolutely deserve recognition. It goes without saying a beautiful old transformed barn is truly inspiring for the perfect tranquil setting. Beyond the perfect space was the most gracious instructor, Mojgan was so very welcoming. Her flow was the challenge I crave in my personal practice but as a great instructor she cued modifications nicely for beginners as well. I loved the hands-on adjustments in chair and pigeon I knew were needed the moment she made them. As a regular Yogi I tend to become lax and unmindful in more simple poses and it takes a caring instructor to not only notice the small details but be willing to help modify them in order to strengthen and challenge my practice further.
If you are a traveling Yogi like me you must put Yoga Barn on your list, you too will be inspired. If you are a resident of Pleasanton , I am jealous! See you next trip…

This studio is magical. The minute you pull up you are in another time and space. The Barn is a historical site that has been updated with the most thoughtful and intuitive style. The vibe inside is sacred and true.

Practicing yoga here is a not just another studio. It is THE studio for the tri-valley area. A studio owned and managed by a yogi of integrity and authenticity. A refreshing safe space to practice different yoga styles with amazing teachers.

Being a part of this community is such a gift. Having this space in our community is a treasure.

I’m new to yoga and absolutely LOVE that the Yoga Barn has all level and heated classes AND every class has AMAZING teachers who offer simple modifications for new people like me. I love learning from the teachers and others in class who are more advanced in their practice. There is also something very magical and special about the space that makes the experience even more enjoyable. I was so intimidated to start yoga, but the Yoga Barn has made it so easy and fun for me to get started in my own practice.

The Yoga Barn is a place where I actually do want to write a review, it’s that good. I had bounced around looking for somewhere I could practice yoga and for various reasons it never was right for me. Then I walked into the Yoga Barn for the first time and it was perfect! Perfect for me started with walking up to the historic Kottinger Barn in Pleasanton and enjoying the small patio with hanging plants and the rustic door to the studio. I stepped in and left my shoes and some of the cares from my hectic life with them. The place is gorgeous, wood and exposed brick and history. The main studio is through a sliding “barn” door. You have to see it to appreciate it but let me just say that in the final pose on my back when eyes are usually shut mine are sometimes open just to enjoy the ceiling. I don’t know, it just feels perfect. Stairs to the right of the door lead up to the intimate upper studio. I have enjoyed every instructor, every single one. There are several types of classes and often special events. I have felt welcomed and encouraged and appreciated and accepted. You will meet Mogi, the wonderful owner and you really can’t help but come to love her. Her spirit has created a place where something special is happening and I am so grateful to be a part of it as a student. Namaste.

At first I cane to Yoga Barn to try Aerial Yoga and I totally love it and have fun doing it. Then I added a class of Vinyasa Flow yoga and love it. Then I decided to try Barre Fusion class and now I do all 3 types of classes at the Yoga Barn. I come back over and over again for the instructors. They set the tone for the classes so that each person feels comfortable to be there and to listen to our bodies and take it where you want that particular day. It’s a very special place and you couldn’t ask for anything more from a Yoga studio. Bravo! To everyone that works at the Yoga Barn!!

I was introduced to Moji and the Yoga Barn by my daughter a year ago, my experience there was awesome, Moji and the other teachers were warm and welcoming & helpful. I found the Yoga Barn for me was a place where I could relax, clear my mind and work on strengthening my body. I love the Venue (the barn) would recommend it to anyone!

This is a beautiful space to practice. It's a beautiful historical building- when you look up at the ceiling you are in awe of the architecture that built the Barn. I love the heated classes. I enjoy the Vinyasa classes taught by Madison, Carl and Tanya. I hope to try aerial yoga.

I love the yoga barn! The rustic setting is very calming just perfect for yoga. All the instructors are so supportive and knowledgeable. The staff and clients are so friendly you tend to hang out after classes on the patio chatting and making new friends. If you love aerial yoga Moji and Mel are the best. If you’ve never tried aerial before this is the safest environment to begin the adventure.

I have found my forever yoga home! I have practiced at various studios over the past ten years, and I can tell you that Yoga Barn is a very special place. The word that comes to mind is nurturing, by this i mean the staff and the physical space are warm and welcoming. I appreciate all the class options, in addition to workshops and special events. All these special touches have allowed me to deepen my practice, and build some new wonderful relationships in a supportive environment.
The location is great and history of the building is icing on the cake.

Stumbled either across Yoga Barn while staying in the room is hotel
Flew in from Boston and stayed at the

Was on east coast time after flying in from Boston for a visit. Googled yoga studios close to the Red Rose looking for an early class and stubbled across the Yoga Barn which was walking distance. We loved the studio! Great warm relaxing vibe being in an old barn (reportedly also the town jail ) built in the 1850s with classic old post and beams. Owner and instructor were so welcoming providing mats, water etc. Excellent class of HIIT yoga which we had never done but really enjoyed. Would definitely return when in the area again!
