- location is cute and we have few businesses around this neighborhoood
- community is very friendly
- the instructors are often absent and replaced without warning
- the quality of the classes is uneven at best. I have have 1 great teacher and many who are very hard to follow. They switch fast, and overdescribe the movements in ways that make them incomprehensible especially at the back of the class or if you happen to be a non native English speaker.
- example: yesterday's class had a replacement teacher, no warm up and went straight into fast changing positions without much flow. Hard to recognize a Vinyasa class and impossible not to feel lost.
- for context: been practising yoga for 5 years, I have an intermediate level and I am just back from a yoga retreat. I am no expert but I should be able to follow most yoga classes and perform at least 80% of the poses each time.

Best yoga studio in San Francisco. What it lacks in amenities (showers, lockers, etc), it makes up for in great teachers and a sense of community.

This is Not a real Yoga experience, it’s something else…working out in heated yoga studio? , also the class are full of people, you don’t have space to move, it’s a disappointing experience

Attended prenatal and postnatal classes. Cecilie has a warm, welcoming and calm demeanor. She starts her classes with introductions and asks each person if there's anything they want to focus on, and then she customizes the poses to try to meet everyone's needs. I felt like I was in good hands with Cecilie! The studio is also conveniently located right by Black Bird Bookstore, which is extremely family friendly and has great beverages and baked goods.

I've been to a lot of yoga studios in my life and this is by far my favorite one. It's the cutest little spot, totally unpretentious, with super welcoming teachers and community. Sam and Daniela's power/vinayasa flow classes are amazing. Such talented teachers and yogis. I'm sure the other teachers are wonderful as well, I've just enjoyed these two weekend morning teachers so much that it has become my favorite routine and I haven't even tried any of the others! The classes can get crowded but it's really not a big issue - people are warm and welcoming, everyone squeezes in and makes it work. Feels like a community and the teachers here make it a really safe and welcoming space to be.

Started back to yoga after 3 yrs off. This is a great neighborhood studio. The teachers are all dedicated and talented. Each is different. I love the variety. Nice community feel with friendly people. Started very stiff in Feb. I went 19x in April, 28x May!
The stiffness in body, especially hips is gone. The arthritic pain in my lower back is 70-90 improved on any given day. Legs and neck much better too. My shortness of breath from vaccine and Covid is gone. Thank you YogaBeach!

The teachers are great but hard to get a real yoga experience when you’re packed into a small room like sardines. I had been coming to this studio for a few years but stopped going once the classes became overcrowded. They pack students in like crazy with no regard to space. I messaged the owner after getting kicked in the face during a class with my concerns about space and never got a response from the owner.

Great instructors. Some of the classes tend to be packed, so arrive earlier:) but everyone there is really sweet and willing to make room for a fellow yogi.

I used to love going to this studio, but now my experience has been soured. My contract for the People’s Pass was automatically renewed after a year without my consent. This business has charged me $65 a month for the past six months and I haven’t stepped foot in the studio once. After discovering this, I have been unable to reach anyone from Yogabeach through phone call, email, or Instagram to cancel my subscription. Through the website itself there is no way to cancel your subscription, you have to contact someone from Yogabeach directly. I’m extremely disappointed especially by a studio that claims to be part of the community.

A down-to-earth a serene studio to check out. The teachers are very kind, and the space is beautiful and many humble vibes here. I was visiting frequently at the beginning of last year, and I miss my evenings inside this yoga studio. Will be back soon!!

Love my neighborhood yoga studio. They primarily offer Hatha and Vinyasa yoga classes in the morning and evening, with some one-off workshops in between. I love that they have plenty of yoga mats on-hand, the room is heated to a gentle ~75ish (just right), and the packages are reasonable (I recommend the $65/month for 5 classes option!).
Sam Grillo and Sarah Pascual are legendary instructors — go take a class!

Pros: 1) Professional yoga instructors. Most of them are awesome. They have different styles and I enjoy most of them.
2) Close to my place
Cons: 1) the manager/owner (Emerald) does not respond to inquiries. It takes long to get a response, and no more since then. It is really annoying.
2) Too many people in a studio. Tried to avoid too crowded classes, but I cannot help taking those classes because most of the classes are crowded.

this spot is a little out of the way for me, as I live across the park. but I come here because my homie Nick teaches here. the value of taking yoga classes with a fellow cyclist is immeasurable. he knows what these thighs and knees need. top notch studio, very open and light. it may get crowded but never claustrophobic.

I love this place. I'm here 5X week minimum, and I can't say enough about the instructors, the classes, the space and the awesome community this studio has brought together. I've been a regular since Day 1 and tell everyone I know to check it out.

Stopped in for a vinyasa flow class last night and loved it! This studio is bright and airy with total beach vibes. It's brand new, clean and inviting. The class was challenging with great instruction and alignment fixes. I'm so happy that there is a great studio in the Outer Sunset. I'll definitely be back!
