Best grown-up yoga in town. Conscientious instructors with 100+ years of experience combined! As the saying goes, “Yoga doesn’t being and end on the mat.”

They have a $18 / class special for their new studio until May end!
I’m new to the area and am trying their new student pass ($75 for 2 weeks) at their original studio. The teachers are experienced and bring their own twists into the practice - the pass is a great way to try a bunch of classes and see which ones you like. I especially liked the RYSS yoga with Noelle - it’s like giving yourself a nice massage with foam rollers! The place is beautiful with Buddha thankas and plants, and not-heated which is a blessing for me - now all I want is a teacher who won’t say Namaste in the end!🧘🏽♀️

By Far, this is one of the best yoga studios in Los Angeles. If you want real Yoga with experience teachers this is your place. Teachers are truly handpicked and each of them have a unique stylist teaching .You really feel the community and the yoga life presents. I always feel great afterwards both mentally and physically. To name a few teachers that I go to most, Birgitte, Charlie, Heather and Noel. I feel so lucky to have access to the studio and be part of this community.

I strongly recommend taking a class at Yoga Changes whether you have been practicing yoga for several years or even if it is your first time. I can tell that the teachers here have a lot of experience teaching yoga. What I also like is that even if I can't perform a yoga pose, there is no judgment by the teacher and an alternative yoga pose is given. I will definitely continue to take yoga classes from here!

If you have an opportunity to take a class here you should jump at it. The level of experience by these teachers is unparalleled. All senior teachers who really know their yoga and create an incredible environment in this lovely studio. It really is a rare find, which you feel the moment you walk in the door.

This is a small, warm, caring place to practice yoga. It's light filled and lovely. Bergitte makes everyone feel welcome. I highly recommend the studio to both new as well as experienced yogis.

Would not recommend. One teacher, a white man, cracked jokes about Sanskrit words in the middle of class, which everyone laughed at. For someone who profits off of teaching practices from a culture that is not his own, this seemed incredibly out of touch and inappropriate. The lack of diversity at this studio and its teachers is already striking and as a person of color, I understand why students of color avoid coming here.
In the middle of another class, the teacher read aloud a personal text message from her phone about someone who was having a miscarriage. She kept asking students if they understood what the text meant. One student even asked her not to discuss the topic during class. I had actually signed up for this restorative class because I was recovering from a miscarriage so the whole ordeal was extremely triggering. I am appalled that Yoga Changes would contract with someone who is so unbelievably unprofessional.
As a community member and a yoga teacher myself, I am whole-heartedly unimpressed by the caliber of teachers at Yoga Changes. For a studio that promotes itself as "inclusive" and "safe," there is a lot of work to do.
