I’ve been going to Yoga NoHo for almost seven years now. It is an excellent place for yogis of all levels thanks to the diverse schedule of classes offered by Kristen, April, and rest of the highly qualified teachers that work there.

Before I began to solely practice at Yoga Noho, I was frequenting four studios in the area but narrowed it down to Yoga Noho because it truly offers the best all-around experience in the area.

Took a hot sculpt flow with Kristen Bringas and was so impressed. She kept the flow strong, but without slipping into an aerobics or Pilates style. The meditative aspect remained despite the use of weights. I’ve taken this type of class in many places, and this is the first time I’ve seen it done right and in a way that brings the intensity up without the likelihood of injury.

Kristen Bringas is a truly inspiring teacher. Her energy permeates the classes she teaches. Every class can be challenging, if you want it to be, but they are always engaging.

I cannot recommend Yoga Noho highly enough! When our nonprofit wellness event was unexpectedly displaced just hours before it was scheduled to start, Yoga Noho stepped in without hesitation to provide their beautiful space on extremely short notice. They generously offered us a nonprofit discount and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Their staff was professional, accommodating, and genuinely supportive of our mission. The studio was clean, well-equipped, and created a calm, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly suited our yoga and sound bath event.

Thanks to Yoga Noho, what could have been a disaster turned into a wonderful day for our guests. We are incredibly grateful and will absolutely book with them again for future events!

Yoga NoHo Center is truly a gem. The studio is always spotless—clean, calming, and beautifully maintained, which makes such a difference in creating a peaceful, grounded environment. Every time I walk in, I immediately feel welcomed and at ease.

The teachers are phenomenal—so knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely invested in each student’s experience. They’re always happy to offer variations and modifications, and I’ve never once felt judged or out of place. Whether you’re working with an injury, navigating limitations, or just want to deepen your practice, they meet you exactly where you are.

I also really appreciate the variety of classes they offer. From gentle and restorative to more dynamic flows, there’s something for everyone and every mood. I’m so grateful to have found this community. Yoga NoHo Center is a place where I always feel supported, inspired, and safe to grow.

Was my husbands an I first time experiencing a Kundalini yoga class. Charmaine is a lovely soul, and encourages us to laugh if we felt like it and to let anything out during this experience as we weren’t use to the chanting. We still ended up getting a great work out in our arms and in our abs, plus the gong at the end during shavasana was quite magical.

After taking a 5-year hiatus, I started back my practice in July 2021 at this studio. I am so happy I did! They offer a variety of non-heated and far infrared heated classes 7 days a week. What makes this studio so special are the instructors. They are so wonderful that it inspired me to do the yoga teacher training program and I completed my 200 RYS! My yoga journey continues on and off the mat and I am excited to see where my path goes. Come check out the studio! You won't be disappointed!

GREAT studio. I am especially in love with their far-infrared heated room. They offer a variety of classes throughout the day. The teachers make a point to learn your name and make you feel like a valued member of their yoga community.

I was looking for a way to increase my flexibility and prevent injuries as I get older, and I found it in Yoga NoHo Center's Hot Yin classes, especially with April. I feel renewed after each class.
Not to mention, I'm standing up straighter and moving and bending with more ease than I have done in years. I highly recommend the Hot Yin classes. If you're able to have class with April, her gentle practice and soothing cadence is like being wrapped in the warm embrace of Gaia herself!

I prefer white heat just a few blocks away. I went to the studio to try a class because my friend recommended it but unfortunately it smelled like cat urine and mildew, the entrance is next to a garbage bin. Not good!

This yoga studio is a blessing in LA. Its energy reminds me of everything I experienced from both India and Bali with yoga. Amazing teachers here, I haven't tried them all yet, as I have been too in love with Carolina's classes... Carolina has a format that incorporates meditation and breath... every one of her classes is magical... Thanks to everyone for creating such a fantastic place to practice. Namaste."

The Tues/Thurs candlelight classes with Kelsi have been a lifesaver for me. I have tried to get into yoga for literally years, and have failed over and over again due class sizes being too big or the vibe in the class being so serious. I have chronically tight hips and have always felt self conscious in classes, until this one!

It is legitimately the only yoga practice I have ever been consistent with. I can almost touch my toes for the first time in my entire life. It's amazing. Kelsi is a gem, this class is lovely, please no one else see this so it can stay a hidden gem 🤣🤣

Yoga NoHo Center with Karen Russell is a true gem. Karen's Hot Gentle Flow class strikes the perfect balance between challenging and restorative. With the gentle healing of Far Infrared heated panels, the room is heated to a comfortable degree upwards of a 100.

Ultimately it was a deeply refreshing experience, super soulful, and all around good vibes. Yoga NoHo has great karmic energy, thanks in part to the welcoming environment, communal, and friendly. Karen's teaching is kind, supportive, and encouraging, gently guiding practitioners into a higher state of mind.

If you're looking to strengthen your practice, align your body, and center your mind, this is the place to be. Just remember to arrive a bit early to set up and get acclimated to the heated room. It's worth it!

Quality yoga studio with all around great vibes! I am just getting back into yoga after a bit of a hiatus and I recently purchased a package here. The owner and instructors each took the time to introduce themselves and make me feel comfortable and welcomed. The studio itself is clean and accommodating. During the class there is an additional person helping to guide anyone who needs it’s poses, which I really appreciate since I am a bit new at this and want to make sure I am doing everything correctly to achieve the maximum benefits of yoga. I am excited to do more classes here and I highly recommend!

This is a friendly and clean studio with a lot of class options each day. I went to the Vinyasa class on Sunday morning and it was nice and challenging. Jason the instructor helped us with headstands and handstands and I feel a lot more confident trying them now. But it’s a great class for beginners as well. Some people just sat out the more challenging inversions and did legs up the wall.

Highly recommend Dr. Dean for an alignment. It was my first time and he handled me with such care and helped me feel at ease. I felt relief immediately. I even noticed I pushed my daughter's stroller with my shoulders over my hips right after our appointment. Before it looked like I was pushing my daughter up hill on the side walks. If you need a sign this is it.

This is an amazing yoga studio. I have been in Noho for a month visiting family and the studio became the perfect place to get away and find a gentle way to release stress and add some movement to my day. It isn’t one of those studios that makes you feel like you are supposed to be any type of way other than the way you are and has all kinds of classes depending on what you are looking for in a heated and non-heated setting. I find Jason’s classes to be always a good mix of challenging and comforting, while Tatiana’s heated restorative class is a great way to challenge yourself to push and realign your body without straining it. I also love Chutney’s kundalini classes. Highly recommend.

Hannah and Jason are my favorite instructors. I feel a sense of relief the moment I walk in. Hannah has such a genuine presence and her restorative class is something I look forward to every week.

Jason's hot gentle flow is the class I need to ignite the fire. It’s challenging but not suffocating heat wise hahaha

My only commentary is sometimes front desk can be a little .... off putting. There has only been one girl who was super sweet and informative and she answered the phone when I called to ask about a class. I wish I knew her name. other than that, everyone seems like they can’t be bothered. I don’t think I’ve ever been greeted when I come in and if I say hi, I usually get a lackluster greeting if one at all. But I don’t let that shape my opinion of the classes as I don’t spend a majority of my time at the front.

Sarah came around and politey asked about individual physical needs, her class layout was very inviting and used descriptive, informative words. She allowed time for us to get our equipment for class and offered to get anyone anything they were missing. Her music choice was excellent and flowed together smoothly with the flow of her teaching.
Thanks for a great time!

I began taking yoga classes at Yoga NoHo Center on the two week special—I had been dealing with chronic constant daily lumbar back pain from two bulging discs with absolutely no relief from the standard western medicine protocol of physical therapy, and I refused to take opiates. For the record, I am a firm believer in the incredible impact of western medicine on the human lifespan and healthspan—but I cannot ignore the shortcomings of the field; at least in my own experience. After only three months of PT, I was sent to a spine specialist who was prepared to administer cortisone shots and/or microsurgery—on my spine!!!—for what they told me were mild to moderate structural abnormalities. That was unacceptable to me after only three months of less invasive treatment.

So I began to seek out alternative methods and landed on yoga a few months later. I found major relief in just two weeks of daily practice. As much as the physical practice helped, I believe the results I experienced came as quickly and expansively as they did due to the community at YNC surrounding me with positivity, encouragement and, most importantly, INFORMATION! I can’t stress enough the importance of the casual, yet robust, education I received.

I took a variety of classes with different teachers and every single one of them spent time before and after class, sometimes upwards of thirty minutes, to discuss my injury and offer any and every resource or tip they had to help me along in my healing. I was encouraged to look into everything from specific asana flows for strengthening, pain management and tension relief, to new stem cell procedures, to books on emotional repression and its impacts on the physical body. I wasn’t just told, “I hope you feel better!”—though that was always the second to last thing said to me, just before I was encouraged to reach out with any questions and to please let them know how I progressed as I went. Compassion and empathy run rampant at YNC!

I was so thrilled with my experience and progress that I joined the Yoga Teacher Training program at YNC immediately, with the simple goal of learning in depth how to fine tune my yoga practice to avoid further injuring myself. I could not have made a better decision as to how to spend my four months in California before returning home to New York. The program, led by co-owners Karen and Michelle, offered a breadth of knowledge on all things yoga related.

But, to my surprise and delight, it was about so much more than that. It was an unexpectedly introspective experience guiding you to heightened self and body awareness. I completed the program more than just a certified yoga instructor. I feel I came out a more complete human being—not to mention one with a dozen sure-to-be lifelong friends. Something about this experience creates a unique bond with your fellow students.

YNC changed my perception of yoga. I learned it heals body and mind alike, given time and consistent practice. Yoga has become a part of my regular routine and lifestyle. I couldn’t be more grateful for the time I was able to spend learning and practicing at YNC. I would recommend their YTT, classes and workshops to anyone. Literally anyone! If you have any questions, feel free to message me and I’ll try to help any way I can (in the YNC spirit).

Special thanks to Michelle and Karen for creating and fostering such an incredibly supportive environment for community engagement and education in managing (and enjoying) mind, body and spirit expansion!

I just called this studio and asked if they could tell me what the difference between the Hatha class verses the Vinyasa class then teach on Weds. The girl who answered the phone said she did not know the difference between those styles of yoga and was not familiar with the classes and suggested I google it. I asked her how she could not know the difference between the class styles and she went on to say "like I dont know - Im like kinda new - like - ya know." As a business owner I was mortified and I told her she needs do her due diligence and do some research on the place she is working at. To have some one responding to a potential new customer this way was a very poor representation of the company and I am only putting this out to let the managment, owners know so they can get professional and informed employees to answer their phones. I feel bad for them because if some one answered my businesses phone like that Id be very upset.
