I love YogaSix as a franchise knowing I will get the same vibes across state lines when traveling, but this one disappointed me!
The instructors are great, good for me to get back into Yoga after months away, the community seems somewhat collective!…but beware of the owner unless you too want to engage in gossip, and acting extremely inappropriate toward members. Go to Modo Yoga right across the street! This one is not like other YogaSix locations….gross cold tub that sweaty members can get in without use of a shower?

Nothing but pleasant experiences here. Challenging yet rewarding classes. I have felt rejuvenated and I lifted after each visit. The lavender towels at the end of class are a lovely touch.

I really like the classes here but I arrived for one today a minute before the start and was not let in, among a few other people that were right on time. I was really looking forward to class and there is typically a 5 minute grace period at this studio (expectation not set) and many other studios in general. Very disappointing to prep and drive all the way there just to be told we have to leave when I was on time. They gave me my credits back, but it doesn’t make up for it.

I cannot, in any good conscious, recommend anyone come here.
I have been practicing yoga in San Diego for 16 years and I have never been in such an unprofessional and hostile studio as this.
I had the unfortunate experience of taking a slow flow class with Hannah, and it was so jarring it has knocked me out of my parasympathetic nervous system for well over a week now. I am only just starting to recover now. One of the tenants of yoga is to do no harm, which she has failed miserably at. She's still on the schedule as of now, so I am writing this to warn others about potential harm that may come. I have been nothing but disoriented and confused since I took her class, due to her lack of awareness and unprofessionalism. Apparently, this is a reoccurring issue with her which means the behavior has been allowed to continue.
I don't appreciate having my quality of life greatly reduced, my work and schoolwork affected due to someone's inability to understand the human nervous system or how it works.
I didn't sign up for a heated rave. I signed up for a slow flow class which ended up traumatizing me into my sympathetic nervous system and greatly affecting the past week of my life.
There are many other studios in the city that don't allow classes to be run in such a hostile manner and this experience is actually the most traumatic I've ever had in my entire yoga journey. Due to the length of time I've been practicing, I have several negative experiences but this one really takes first place.
Hannah, if you're reading this, your carelessness and lack of giving half a rat's behind to your students mentally and physically harms people. You have no awareness of your surroundings or how environments affect people. You really should find another field to work in if you're going to continue acting this way.

I love this studio so much. The studio itself is REALLY nice, not jam packed and clean. They give the best smelling towels after class too.

Be careful! Don't sign up for a reoccurring membership! The studio is incredibly responsive but then ghosts you when you want to cancel. They don't tell you when you sign up but you have to jump through hoops. You can't just go in to cancel. Due to health reasons I wanted to cancel, I texted them and no response (when usually they always reply) . I went in to do it, they said they needed to ask the manager and will get back to me. Someone eventually emailed me asking me to give them 30 day notice and to ask me to sign papers in order to cancel. I responded by asking if my text date counted. I wanted the date of the notice to be the date my text was. No response. I'll be fighting with my credit card company against their charges if they bill me again.

Horrible when you try to cancel. I've been trying to cancel for about 3 weeks now and the "Manager/Owner" Sarah Domen only responds to my emails after I've sent 2 or 3.
Update: it took 4 months to cancel and even then they attempted to charge me the entire time.
In response to Sarah’s response below: I have not been to a YogaSix in 4 months. I’m not sure why she’s lying and saying this. I texted Sarah and she said she thought it was me in class because someone had my name. Between taking 4 months to cancel me while continuing to charge and now stating that I took a class when I haven’t. I told Sarah I hope she’s able to get it together and she responded saying she hopes I get it together. I’m the one being so inconvenienced and she tells me to get it together.

I tried YogaSix during the midst of the pandemic as a way to decompress and move. I have been a member ever since. I have always loved the variety of classes and instructors and quickly found myself there daily as a part of my morning routine. Something about the heat and the colors of the room as you flow is so pleasing to my brain, lol. The instructors and helpful yet challenging and you will find yourself more centered, flexible, and strong than you were the day before. My personal favorite instructors here are Natalie, Korri, Becky, and Tamara but you won't go wrong with trying any class.

This yoga six studio is the best in San Diego!!! The owner is so kind and works so hard to bring exciting events to the studio. Every instructor is fantastic. I seriously give all the credit to this studio for making yoga a core part of my daily lifestyle. The only reason I left was because I moved up north. Thank you wonderful people!!!

I've tried Yoga classes at other establishments, but never YogaSix before. I had an opportunity to try out a class and had an open morning so thought why not!
- PARKING -
Shares a parking lot with other businesses, plenty of space so you don't need to worry about finding a spot!
- SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT -
Although it's a small studio, I was hoping to get a better walkthrough of the space and what goes where. I checked in and it wasn't until I hesitated in moving forward that the staff member asked if it was my first time, and led me through a very brief explanation of what is where. From my previous experiences at other yoga studios, I knew I had to leave my belongings in the lockers/shelves before going into the studio - however, not sure if other people would understand and walk into it with their shoes and belongings. They have a dedicated closet where all the weights and bands are located - it's a bit scrunched when everyone is trying to get their equipment. I also noticed all of one weight was gone before the remaining third of the class got to pick. I think this was supposed to be a heated class, but it only got somewhat warm.
- EXPERIENCE -
It was VERY loud before the class started - understandably if you go with your friends often enough, you're mingling and catching up, but at other establishments, I usually take the beginning to settle into my space and stretch out. It was so loud with all the conversations going on, even when the instructor came in to start, she had to speak twice or three times to get their attention. Felt like a kid in a classroom. The workout itself was a good intensity - usually I can up the ante if needed if the workout is too easy, which was needed for this class. The demographic here is definitely at an older range than other businesses I've been to, so maybe the intensity isn't as high?
- OVERALL -
An OK first experience. Think I prefer other establishments, but I wouldn't mind dropping in if I had credit for YogaSix again.

This is the BEST yoga studio! I’ve always felt slightly uncomfortable at yoga studios, not feeling like I was a true “yogi” and this is the first place where I feel like everyone is down to earth and welcoming. Every type of class is amazing and if you’re able to get a class with Natalie—go! Get ready for an amazing workout without feeling depleted and dehydrated.

Y6 Bay Park & La Jolla are fantastic studios! Everyone is always so welcoming and helpful. Booking classes is very convenient using the app and I can book at multiple locations.
The studios are very clean, I love the extra touches with the complementary products they offer, from yummy mints, the ice cold towels after a hot yoga session, and stuff in the locker room, so thoughtful and much appreciated. They offer a variety of classes, my favorites are yoga sculpt, power and candlelight hot/power.
The instructors are top notch. Tristan’s sculpt classes never disappoints, love his playlists. The power classes with Maneli (amazing) Shelley, Mona, Tamara & Erinn are so awesome!

I’ve loved my experience with YogaSix. The studio and the instructors have transformed my yoga journey. I would like to thank the instructors at the BP location for challenging me and helping me build strength both in my body and mind. A no drama yoga studio for every level Everyone is friendly and encouraging. When I started at the Bay Park studio I could barely do a downward dog; over the last year the knowledge staff helped me build my confidence and my yoga skills. My favorite part is the vibe, the instructors mix up the music to incorporate different genres to keep the classes fresh.

Bay Park is by far my favorite YogaSix location. The staff is so friendly, the manager(s) have always been kind and accommodating, and everyone from the front desk attendants to the instructors make you feel welcome. So many flows and instructors to choose from, there really is something for everybody. Shelley’s classes have literally changed my life lol- I pay for a multi studio pass just to take her hot flow at every location I can (and her sculpt is fire too), so if you can swing her class times, do it. 10/10 recommend, and usually, whenever I end up bringing a friend, they sign up. Just a testament to YogaSix’s incredible customer service and quality of experience.

YogaSix is honestly my favorite place to be. Everyone there is so kind and friendly, the instructors are knowledgeable in their craft and the environment could not be better to learn or continue your yoga practice! Natalie’s power class is top of my list for a great work out & a fun flow. But all the instructors really put so much thought and effort into each class, it really makes for a welcoming space for beginners and more advanced yogis alike.

Positives:
*Variety of classes: hot (similar to bikram--same class everytime), power (similar to vinyasa flow--different class every time), sculpt (weights--different class every time) and early morning offered (6am and 7:30am). Sculpt is the most challenging class for me. It is also the most crowded class of the ones I attended. Some instructors adjust, others do not. I have liked them all, namely Natalie, Shelley, and Caitlin.
*Clean studio, spots marked with sticker for spacing, doors marked to go in and out for equipment (yoga blocks, straps, weights), lights vary the mood
*Small classes: Classes I attended (usually 7:30am for me) had as few as 4 people and as many as 16 people.
*Very nice staff: Megan at front desk and Cariss general manager were both very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They told me about promotions and specials via text and phone, in addition to emails to members, without being overly pushy.
*Complimentary hand towels (dry and wet), lockers have built in locks, and water station.
*Easy to schedule classes on app on phone.
*Lots of free parking in shopping center lot.
Not negatives necessarily, but my preferences:
*I really enjoy vinyasa flow; some of the power classes don't do really do flow where there is a series of movements, poses added on after every round, until you get a routine, done three 3 to 4 times, one breath to one movement.
*The studio room is not hot enough (and I usually dislike very hot).
*I prefer music with lyrics instead of just background.
*It would be nice to have a dedicated locker/changing room with shower.
This review is based on 4 weeks at this studio, for about 4 times of yoga a week, after not doing heated yoga for about 6 years. Would I recommend YogaSix at Bay Park? Yes. So why didn't I join a long term membership? I had been doing HIIT for 3 years consistently, which has outdoor yoga, but not heated yoga, which I have missed. It's too much time and money to have more than one all access gym membership. So I will be returning to my HIIT workouts (with outdoor yoga) and have enjoyed my time with Yoga Six at Bay Park. Thank you for a great experience!

LOVE BP YOGA 6!!! As an almost 40 y/o mom of 3, I definitely had put my wellness on the back burner for a while. Some friends encouraged me to try BP Y6 and I AM FOREVER IN THEIR DEBT! I have taken yoga in the past, but never have felt as at home as I do here. I’ve been taking yoga here for just over a year and am almost at 200 classes 🎉. The teachers are AMAZING! I’m obsessed with Natalie (creative sequences and phenomenal music choices), Tamara (challenging progressions and an addictive kick your butt power class), and Shelley (seamless flows and incredible relaxation and visualizations incorporated into classes). The gym is always clean, and staff is always kind and helpful. If I could give 11 stars, I would! Love you guys!!!
