It’s not always easy to find hot yoga + good flow + knowledgeable instructors, but I found it here! I was in town for a beach vacation and bought a 3 class pass with the help of Sam. The studio = clean and hot! The instructors = knowledgeable + clear. The flow = just right.

Update: they have serious issues with management. They can’t seem to handle pausing or canceling. Got charged multiple times when “paused”. Then they offer credits that expire just a few weeks after you unpause as a consolation prize for you having to chase them down to refund you money.
Studio nice. Many instructors are good, but some either meh, or substitute blasting heat to make class hard as opposed to dynamic in its moves.
Wish that after a year there were more/variations of classes. Personally don’t love the hot class which is the same boring poses and they have it 3/5 weekday mornings. Only noon classes are suuuper slow, not energizing. For someone with kids and a job, those are my windows to do yoga, so I’m lucky if I go once a week. Wish they would follow the San Clemente Y6 and offer the noon mix classes…

It’s not very easy to find a yoga studio with solid teaching team. I am confidently saying this: all of their teachers are top notch. I am just loving this studio exponentially class after class. Come and take a class and you will be hooked

YogaSix Dana Point is such a vibe! From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. The staff is super friendly, the instructors are knowledgeable and passionate, and the energy in every class is just amazing. I love the variety—from deep, restorative flows to powerful sculpt sessions. The studio is always spotless and smells so fresh, which I really appreciate. It’s become my go-to place to reset, recharge, and sweat it out. I leave every time feeling better than when I walked in. Highly recommend checking it out!

Instructors are 5 star. Michelle, Louise and Luis are my favorites. My 3 star ranking is that the room is not adequately heated for the first class and in my view only infrequently for hot classes. It is not the instructors! Hot yoga is standard 95-105, for the last several months I have seen 84 and very rarely getting above 100. My last one started 92 and got up maybe to 98. I’ll charitably describe new managers as indifferent. I am a below average practitioner at best. I hope to continue my annual membership but this must be remedied!

From beginners to Yoga masters this place has it all. The staff is amazing and they have a variety of classes that will push you to your limit. Cue the song….. I’d suggest starting with their weekly special for only $26 for the whole week! Give this place a shot, if you want mental clarity, great vibes, and the beach bod you’ve always dreamt of. Got to love supporting small business the blood line of America.

I have been a member for over a year, and love the family vibe of this studio. Everyone is kind, friendly, and welcoming. What more do you need? And it’s also the most challenging yoga I’ve found. You will stay grounded and humble while you grow your practice here. 🤍

Love this studio! I’ve taken more than 20 classes here now. They have a variety of classes from high energy sculpting to very slow restore classes. I really enjoy all of them. I love that their variety of classes can accommodate every mood of mine.
Their policy with class packs is great. My guests can use my pass when they come in. The teachers are really friendly. Highly recommend this studio!

I went into Yoga6 to take Cambria’s yoga sculpt class last Wednesday:). She was absolutely phenomenal!! I have followed her from Equinox in Huntington Beach where she lead a beautiful power vinyasas yoga flow down to Dana point now for this heated sculpt class.
Cambria has such a bright energy and is such a positive soul! Her class structure is always changing so you’ll never be doing the same routine twice. The music is always spot on!! The vibe throughout class and the studio is super chill. No judgement…just hard working individuals trying their very best encouraging one another.
If you go to Yoga6 make sure to do a vinyasa flow with Cambria….she is the very best and so full of good vibes!!!! Namaste

Y6 is such an amazing place to push yourself and spend time on your mat — for yourself. Love all the instructors but Cambria plays amazing music, always brings the energy and just overall great — Breezy is also great. They honestly all are. I’m addicted and go as much as my schedule allows! Thank you Y6 in Dana Point!

Super friendly staff, beautiful facility, incredibly good instructor and overall a great experience. Highly recommend and will be back 100%
Update: visited a second time. unfortunately the instructors microphone was extremely muffled and due to the music in the room being set at very high volume it was not only impossible to hear what the instructor was saying, but it was an assault on the senses.
I am a not advanced and rely heavily on the cues from the instructor so not being able to make out her words made it impossible to follow. I would have adjusted my expectations and followed along as best i could by watching people near me, however, the loud music and the constant muffled sound of the instructor paired with it made the entire experience incredibly uncomfortable.
My previous 20-25 hot yoga sessions that i have done (only one at Yoga Six which was a good experience) typically dont have high energy music at a loud volume. I think that for hot yoga, music should be grounding or relaxing or a bit more appropriate for getting centered and present in a crowded room at high temperatures, but that is just my personal opinion/preference. I was the only person to leave after the first 20 minutes (mind you this is the first time i have walked out of a yoga class or any class for that matter before it ending), so perhaps i have bad ears, bad taste in music and a bad attitude, but i beg to differ.
I hate to write a negative review but its really frustrating to lose the time, money and energy spent on an experience that was truly intolerable.
side note; the staff are all very welcoming and friendly and the facility is very nice and clean, perhaps just a "one off" bad experience for me

Participated in my first ever yoga class this morning in the Power Yoga session. I was offered a free trial class courtesy of my father-in-law who is a member and regular attendee. The instructor was welcoming and understanding of my level. The class was challenging, educational, and fun. I had a great experience and would do it again. Thanks!

This is a great yoga class. I really enjoyed it. It’s a Vinyasa style which is nice. Definitely you do sweat so I’d recommend bringing your own towel and the towel for the mat. It’s first time free which is great. The flow was awesome. You got a bit of a mix of like power, and Relaxation and stretching which is exactly what I was looking for great class and I would definitely come back.

Dropped in for a restorative class while traveling through Dana Point on vacation. Excellent experience! Nice heated room allowed for greater range of motion, and facility was sparkling clean. The teacher was outstanding, and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we hit the door. Just go - you won’t be disappointed!

Sadly, i do not recommend this studio! I booked Y6 Hot class through ClassPass January 25th, 2023 and i went there. Store manager i believe her name was Beth requested me to pay first timer fee $10 and i told her i booked this class with using my ClassPass points so it doesn't make any sense me to make double payment she said well sometimes some studios charge extra even you book through ClassPass so it was 5 min before the class and she charged me and another ClassPass holder $10. I contacted ClassPass right after class and attached is their response! Yoga should be a peaceful experience and my experience with Dana Point Yoga Six was not peaceful. These people say that they practice love and compassion and i say action speaks louder than words! Namaste!

I had never done Yoga when I joined here 5 months ago. My experience since joining has been absolutely transformative, thanks to the welcoming and affirming environment, helpful staff, positive energy, and exceptional instructors. YogaSix Dana Point has built an amazing community in a short amount of time and I am so incredibly grateful for how deeply it has benefited my own growth and healing. I cannot recommend this place enough, and I do. I tell everyone about it ha! Come join and experience for yourself!

This studio is nice and clean. I love their hot classes and the chromotherapy is a nice touch. I have taken classes from about 4 different teachers and all of them have been great. This studio does not have a locker room or changing room, but their bathrooms are spacious.
