I had a serious injury at Yoga Six during a Y6 Sculpt & Flow class with instructor Tania, tearing my ACL and part of my meniscus. The class gave no warning about high-intensity lateral movements and offered no instruction on how to safely position yourself for the exercises.
When it happened, the instructor did not check on me directly and only spoke to a fellow student who told her I was hurt. She said the only thing she could do was get ice. The studio did not have proper ice packs and instead gave small ice cubes in containers meant for coolers or lunch bags. Thankfully, two other students carried me out of the class.
In the lobby, the studio owner asked, “You never done a class like this or what?” which felt dismissive. I reached out to ask about extending my class package to accommodate my recovery, but they only offered a one-week extension and did not follow up with me further, even though I cannot attend for months.
I cannot recommend this studio, and any locations owned by the same owner are likely to have similar issues.

It’s not one thing that makes YogaSix amazing. It’s a bunch of little things that all add up!
After trying out a big name yoga studio and getting tired of the crowded rooms and “we charge for everything despite being pretty overpriced” attitude, this studio was recommended to me by my spouse who used to be a member in Dallas.
We were both genuinely surprised after trying out a class - the classes are not crowded, you’re not rushed, the place is incredibly clean, the staff are friendly, the equipment well-maintained, the music not too loud or pretentious and did I mention cold towels after a class and fresh towels before?
The instructors are really patient - I do wish they would guide us/correct our poses a little more; especially in classes that are not so crowded.
But overall, I’m genuinely satisfied with this. I love the Slow Flow and the Restore classes and would definitely recommend this to friends.

Working in healthcare, I’ve learned how important preventative care is, not just for my patients, but for myself. I came to this yoga studio looking for a practice that would support my physical and mental well-being, and what I found was so much more than exercise. From the first class, I could feel the focus on connection between body, breath, and mind. I’ve attended Joy and Kalista’s Signature Hot classes and they create a space that feels both grounding and freeing. It isn’t about perfect poses, it’s about staying open, listening to your body, and allowing whatever comes up to come. Some days that means calm and clarity and other days it means facing emotions I didn’t know I was holding. This practice has become a way to reset, breathe, and show up more fully in my work and in my life. In class I’m reminded that growth can be uncomfortable, but it’s in that discomfort that healing begins.
If you’re looking for a place to not only strengthen your body but also reconnect with yourself, this studio is a wonderful starting point. It’s a reminder that yoga is truly a mind-body journey and I’m grateful to be on it.

YogaSix has such a nice environment, clean, welcoming, and friendly.
The instructor Taylor Chin is absolutely the best! She gives clear instructions with options from easy to challenging, so everyone can follow at their own level. I especially love her music-themed classes, the theme changes every month, and sometimes she switches up the poses and flow, so it’s never boring. I try to go to her Thursday night class whenever I can. She is amazing!

Love the place first time stepping in. The coach was super nice and helpful, very experienced as well, as a new joiner for hot yoga, I can follow through by watching the coach, she’ll move around the room to ensure everyone could see her easily. Also neat and clean facility, well beyond my expectations for a single training room studio.

I took two classes, one was a restorative class with Bonnie and it was SO GOOD!!! Her flow was very relaxing and grounded, I love her vibe and loved when she sings a little. Truly enjoyed it!
The other class was a power flow with Kalista, also was very nice, but for me, was too humid and hot, other than that, beautiful vibe and good flow.
I don’t live in Santa Clara, but every time I’ll visit my daughter, we’ll be there!

I love this yoga studio! I've been going to YogaSix for the last year and a half and it's been absolutely amazing. Very welcoming studio. They're very beginner friendly and always stress that each pose is a suggestion not a requirement. Many instructors will go around at the beginning of class to check if anyone needs help working around an injury. I will tell you my experience here. And it’s only my experience. My rate. My feelings. So this place didn’t workout for me . Sinse I made a mistake when I made a reservation through class pass and Mickey up another location which is Cupertino or smth like that, sorry I’m not local at all, traveling here for work. So . Instead of going to Cupertino I came here and found out that this was wrong address
1. I don’t understand this policy policy policy situation - this is just American style of everything - not a customer clients oriented service . Smiles but when it comes to the brands name - like beeing nice - beeing understanding - they just keep saying sorry police police police and the workers they are just robots . You should be customer oriented . I paid already to you stüdyo for the class but another place - why don’t you just accept me into class ?? And saying sorry we understand you made a mistake yes this usually happens to our clients - ent etc . Let me in! And let me have a nice experience with you so I can stay happy and recommend this place .
No. They charged me additional money for jump in class!! And 3 $ mat!!! This is - it’s you know ?? What’s this when you are altdey so fridtrated with your own mistake and then the brand keeps charging you showing the ATTITUDE!! Which is not appropriate!! So overall I went to this class and it was so bad . Everyone was just unhappy you should have seen the faces . I left the class and I will not go there anymore . Because I got this experience . And I’m not telling that there is no way to get good experience there - but I feel like this is a pain just about customer service overall . Policy policy policy policy police . No soul

This place is great! Out of all the YogaSix’s I’ve been to, this one easily has the best facilities. The practice room is big enough to have adequate space for each person - even with a full class. They also give complimentary dry towels before class and a cool scented one after class. The instructors are all super nice and after class they make sure to be at front desk to chat about how class went. Ventilation in the room is amazing as well

While I attend the Santa Clara studio less frequently that my home studio and one by work, it offers its own unique benefits. The instructors here are known for their creativity, especially during smaller classes where they might introduce innovative formats like circle sessions.
This location tends to be less crowded which can be a plus for those seeking a more intimate yoga experience. However, the surrounding area can get quite busy, particularly on weekends and evenings.
There's a large parking lot available, but given the area's popularity, it's advisable to arrive early. This extra time allows you to secure parking, prepare for class, and even spend a few moments on your mat before the session begins - a practice that benefits everyone in the class.

Y6 is my absolute FAVORITE workout class-- and of ALL Y6 studios, I can't recommend this Santa Clara one enough.
The customer service of this particular Y6 studio: they were the ONLY studio (between both Norcal and Socal) to offer me a conversion plan from ClassPass to the Y6 membership. I talked through all my concerns with them and we worked to build the membership that was best for me. I love the variety of classes as well. I can't commit to the same routine every week so I do lots of different classes throughout the month.
They have an in-depth guide to their classes but this is my experience:
Slow Flow: Good to build out basics and spend time on form. Light heat
Restore: VERY slow, works more on mind space + being in the zone. Light heat
Sculpt: every instructor does it differently, usually more intense + higher heat. adds in HIIT elements.
Hot: heat ranges from 95-105 during class, but class is more like a slow flow where you work on foundational aspects.
Power: great for medium level who is looking to build out more strength.
I was going to list my fave instructors but honestly all of them have always taken care of me. If you're a beginner to your yoga journey, I'd start with Joy or Job, who can spend more time fixing your form. I'm currently enjoying Val and Taylor's classes a lot as a medium level!

One reason I chose this studio instead of other hot yoga places it’s that you can kinda try different kinds of hot yoga (some studios only allow a certain/ strict flow).Today I signed up last minute for a class and was running late..I tried to follow the flow but was not able to so I modified to some slower postures.. surprisingly the teacher (Diana) was unhappy about that and didn’t pass me the towel on purpose 😅😂… never encounter such a thing after attending so many yoga classes in different places. And she gave me kinda “warning” - don’t do this again..I don’t feel good when not able to follow the class but you don’t have to be so mean… especially as a yoga teacher..
Luckily I didn’t sign up for the Sculpt training and will avoid her class since I’m not welcomed. The front desk is friendly tho.

I've been a member here for a few years. I like the variety of yoga classes they offer. They have restorative yoga to power yoga to sculpt and flow classes. The teachers are all very nice and approachable if you have questions. It is very clean and they provide pillows to cover the bolsters, which they wash after each use. I have tried other Y6 locations and only this one offered that service. Small towels are also provided, as well as yoga blocks and straps.

I liked some classes at this studio, but my recent experience left me fuming. Arriving just 3 minutes late, I found the door locked, with no doorbell or receptionist in sight. Another attendee joined me moments later, and together we waited outside in the rain for nearly 10 minutes until the instructor finally emerged. Not a word of apology was offered.
To add insult to injury, a call from someone at YogaSix later in the day only served to exacerbate my frustration. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience, they callously reiterated their policy without a hint of remorse. Returning home, I was greeted by a lengthy email outlining their stringent guidelines, which felt like a slap in the face.
In my years of attending various yoga studios and classes, tardiness has rarely been an issue, as most places are equipped with a receptionist to assist late arrivals. Mistakes happen, and a little understanding goes a long way. But blaming the customer and failing to show even a shred of empathy? That's simply unacceptable.

The owner was unresponsive to me when I tried to cancel my membership. I called him and emailed him twice, but he did not respond. Therefore, I replaced my card on file with one that only had $5 on it so that they couldn't charge me $189. Luckily, I was not charged. But beware if you try to cancel your membership. They tell you it takes 30 days to issue a cancelation but that is NOT TRUE. When I cancelled my membership with the Campbell location, they were able to do it right away.
Edited because I forgot to mention something:
I signed up for a "black friday deal" which I was told was $99 for two months of unlimited membership. However, it was not $99 total, it was $99 per month for two months. Liars.

I've been to many yoga studios throughout the bay area and found Y6 Santa Clara has a sense of community and very welcoming. I wish I had better things to say, because I’m sure the teaching staff is great, but the admin has been tough to navigate.
We signed up for a deal advertised online, “20 days for $23” thinking this was some sort of new student intro special. Turns out the fine print specified you were also locked into a two month unlimited membership, or a $380 financial commitment.
This ad was misleading or confusing at best, and deceptive false advertising at worst.
In the process of trying to get this sorted out, I’ve called the front desk multiple times, on multiple days, and no one answered.
I also sent an email trying to get things sorted. No response.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this studio due to misleading membership claims and consistent lack of communication.
Willing to take this review down if someone would email or call me back.

A year ago, I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy (facial nerve paralysis)on top of my vasovagal syncope. To my much dismay, I was refrained from strenuous physical activities. Until a friend recommended me to try yoga. I inquired my doctor about it. She said YES because not only it is good for me, it helps to de-stress and circulate my nerve system.
And so I googled online and YogaSix caught my attention. I even subscribed for more additional info. Little did I know, they expanded an opening studio near my home. I was even offered a founding membership special rate to boot. It must be fate so In a haste I signed up!
At first I was nervous given my health condition with limited experience in yoga. But the owner Jen paved the way to build my self confidence. She even recommended which classes to start with and went out of her way to ensure my comfort level without feeling pressure.
I was hooked since my first yoga session. Love the instructors who all are amazing. I even took advantage of virtual LIVE classes since the pandemic outbreak.no even had my friend's daughter to sign up too. She discovered her new love of yoga!
When the county health orders lifted the restrictions by allowing indoor sports activities, I am impressed with all the conscientious efforts the owner Jen entailed to create safety health protocols. Space was strictly enforced with no more than 8 reserved spots and the studio layout was arranged with social distancing, enforced masks on, temp check and provided hand sanitizer. The same protocols applied to outdoors sessions too with social distancing and masks on. So I felt very safe in regards to public health safety.
I am looking forward to return once the pandemic subsides and county health orders are lifted. I LOVE YogaSix!

I love Yoga6 for everything they have done and offered during Covid. They built a brand new beautiful studio that was completed just as Covad hit. Jen and Michael were so resourceful and caring about their community they created the Yoga Oasis. It’s a perfect place to take their super classes. It’s all outdoors, but surrounded by fairy lights giving it a magical feeling especially at night with full view of the sky. They are very careful to keep COVID safe, masks, distancing and outdoors.
The instructors are very experienced and every class I take (co.untless now) feel like its 10 minutes, even though it’s an hour. The , instructors are motivating an.d all have their own flavor that makes everyone feel welcome.
Instructors are injury adverse, so they provide
options for poses and movements to avoid injury.
Last, the community in each class are very nice and supportive of each other.
I highly recommend Yoga6 Santa Clara.

Yoga Six Santa Clara is a wonderful place to practice. I'm very lucky to have such a great yoga community nearby. I came because it was close and for a free lesson but I became a member because of the friendly and dedicated owners. The variety of classes is great if you want to try something new and if you have a regular practice the instructors are great about offering opportunities to progress on the mat. The teachers all have something unique to offer and I'm sure there are several classes to fit any personality and practice or even as a supplement to another fitness routine. It's a great community and the owners in particular are great about supporting other local businesses and recently organized a chance for us to volunteer as a group so we could take our practice off the mat. Highly reccomend. If you come once I'm sure you will come back!

After seeing my mom find relief from arthritis pain by doing Yoga, I knew I had to start yoga to find the much needed mental wellness, and feel grounded. I signed up with this studio before covid hit, but thanks to Jen and her determination, I've been able to enjoy yoga through all of 2020 when the county allowed the activity. They have a lovely yoga oasis that is outdoor, such a joy to be under the blue sky, hear and see the birds. I love coming to the afternoon classes of yoga slow flow and yoga power during the weekday. It's my outlet to channel my mad work energy! And oh I love their weekend yoga restore class too. The perfect stretches for the sore muscles after the 5 day week of just sitting at my work desk. The instructors are wonderful, they pay attention to you, encourage you to try variations but also balance what your body tells you. I am so focused on my postures and breathing, thanks to their instruction. The place feels like a home away from home!
They practice all safety protocol. We wear masks, and there are mat placement markings to ensure the 6 feet distance.

Given our lock down situation, Y6 Santa Clara has done a phenomenal job making their service accessible. They have an outdoor space with heat lamps that is as intimate as it can get. The instructors are fantastic at giving suggestions to improve your own practice. And Jen is an amazing ambassador for the Yoga community. Give it a go, y'all. You'll be satisfied.

I've practiced at many studios here in the Bay Area, and this is one of the best. There's ALOT to like about the studio: 1. I am impressed by how clean and modern it is; 2. the practice room is very large and spacious; 3. ample parking (huge plus in my book!); 4. high quality teachers (Jen and Christa are my favorites); 5. "customer-centric" focus; and 6. they really pulled out all the stops to create an outdoor platform for their students during the lockdown.
Take the plunge -- you won't be disappointed!

I am so thankful that YogaSix opened up in Santa Clara! They go above and beyond to ensure a clean, safe and relaxing environment to practice in. The owners, Jen and Michael, have bent over backward to adhere to the changing COVID guidelines and always make sure that practitioners' safety and comfort is their #1 priority. There is an amazing variety of classes from primarily stretching based (Restore) to a high intensity workout(Sculpt). Being able to practice as a part of this dedicated community has been such a highlight. I've made some amazing friends during my time practicing there and look forward to seeing them each class (new friends are few and far between right now, so I am extra grateful)!

I’ve been impressed by the resilience of this studio’s ability to pivot during these uncertain times. They were just about to open the doors when the pandemic slammed them with COVID restrictions. Since then, I’ve attended in-person inside the beautiful studio (Covid-Safe), outside in the park on gorgeous blue mornings, in-front of the studio doors at sunrise, in the yoga oasis and on Zoom and with the YogaSix app videos. We just have to roll with it, right? And who doesn’t love to be outside? Okay yes, the parking lot is the oasis, but it has been safely marked off from drive-bys, social distancing markers, a glowing ambiance in the evenings and heat lamps for when it’s colder. The yoga Oasis has been particularly relaxing for the evening sessions. I truly appreciate the efforts the owner and staff have gone through to make yoga available to me and to make the experiences as pleasant as possible with each pivot. I also like that they have started a learning series - we are currently learning about the 7 Chakras on Monday evenings in Yoga101 - and I’ve attended a workshop to practice and better understand Chatarunga. That being said- I can tell the instructors are passionate and each one each one brings unique talents and skills to the practice. So, you should be able to vibe with at least one. I’d recommend all the classes for all levels. But be prepared to WORK it out in the sculpt class- good for days you want a cardio challenge added to your routine. Good luck and well wishes yogis :)

Hi all! This is my second month with YogaSix Santa Clara as a customer. Great studio. I am really impressed by the instructors and the owner Jen. In the times of COVID the team has come forward with very creative solutions ( Yoga in the park, Yoga Oasis) to help yogis keep their practice going.
