The studio and classes are great, but the management couldn't be worse. I have been forced to reach out to the management via Linkedin in multiple cases. See below.

As of Oct 27:
I have been seeing charges on my account monthly however, I have been blocked from booking classes on the app- saying I'm out of credits. I have called the studio dozen times, messaged and emailed for several weeks - but haven't heard back. I will request you to please escalate with management and help me cancel my membership.

As of Nov 2024:
Utterly disappointed with the Sunnyvale, CA location's team's response to my request for freezing the account. I have reached out more than 10 times via phone, text, email and completed the freeze request form- but haven't heard any response. I'm very inclined to start posting publicly on how the team was extremely responsive when they were signing us up- as founding members we waited for months when the studio opening was delayed and this is how we get treated now! I want to escalate the matter to the management if the locations are unable to hold to the standard yoga studio have- this is spoiling customer experience and the studio's reputation.

I’ve been trying yoga studios for years, and YogaSix Sunnyvale is the one that keeps calling me back. The location is perfect — right in downtown Sunnyvale with super easy parking — and the space itself is brand new, clean, and really cute.

It’s so easy to sign up for classes online, and I’ve tried every single class with different instructors — I genuinely loved them all. Each teacher brings something unique, and the energy is always positive and motivating.

I’m so excited to have found this studio — it finally makes me look forward to working out every day. Highly recommend!

I've been taking classes at this studio since it opened in 2024, and I’ve loved every minute of it. The instructors are all incredibly welcoming, creating an atmosphere that makes every class enjoyable. I especially enjoy the sculpt and hot yoga sessions. Golnaz’s sculpt classes are always high-energy and uplifting – her bubbly personality and excellent teaching style truly make each class an experience to look forward to. Taylor's sculpt classes are always centered around a unique musical theme, and she even invites her students to suggest future themes. Each month, she creates fresh, dynamic sequences, and every workout is thoughtfully structured with warm-up moves that seamlessly transition into the main movements. The front desk staff are also all wonderful, helpful, and welcoming!

Very nice location in downtown Sunnyvale. However , I'm surprised there are no changing rooms or showers :( I wasn't comfortable changing barefoot on the cold bathroom floor. That's inconvenient to say the least. Also, taking a shower after sweating in the class would be nice as well.

I love the YogaSix in Sunnyvale! The community is warm and welcoming. I've never had so many teachers learn my name so quickly! They have themed classes like St Patrick's day, Taylor Swift in candlelight, and equinox classes and specifically focused classes like arm mobility, bandhas, hip openers which get me extra excited to take class.

Excellent yoga studio that is welcoming to both beginners and advanced practitioners! I love the way that this studio weaves in themed classes and special events. Examples include everything from candlelit Taylor Swift Hot to a series of classes focused on advanced breath work techniques (bandhas). They also have a monthly book club which really builds the community feel. All of the teachers are lovely and really make an effort to get to know their students and build the community. There are many different types of classes here from the more exercise centric to the more meditative and traditional. There is definitely something for everyone here!

I’m absolutely in love with the experience! The studio has a welcoming and calming atmosphere, and it’s clear that the team puts a lot of effort into creating a space where everyone feels comfortable, regardless of experience level. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, offering modifications for different skill levels while still challenging you to push your limits.

The class variety is fantastic! From slow, restorative sessions to more intense, fast-paced flows, there's something for every mood and fitness goal. I especially appreciate how they offer both in-person and virtual classes, making it easy to stay consistent even when life gets busy.

Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced practitioner, YogaSix provides an inclusive environment where you can grow and deepen your practice at your own pace. I always leave feeling rejuvenated and centered. Highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to explore yoga in a fun, supportive, and enriching way!

I joined YogaSix Sunnyvale in August 2024 and have found it so welcoming and encouraging that I began taking one class everyday at 6 am since last October.
What I like most about this studio is that it offers a wide range of classes that cater to various needs, schedule, and level of dexterity, and the instructors motivate me to keep trying harder without being invasive or judgmental. It is a place where I feel safe to be myself and roll at my own pace without feeling self-conscious.
All the instructors are amazing but I would highly recommend taking a Power class with Lauren; Sculpt and Flow with Golnaz, Hot with Sam, Danica, Heather, or Anna; and TRX with Danica for the ultimate experience. I miss taking classes with Liana and Taylor as well as they teach later classes that I can't attend due to my work schedule. I am pretty sure that I'm missing some instructors but they each have unique teaching styles and have something different to offer which makes the experience so much more interesting; I have never left the studio disappointed!
Besides the classes, I love taking the workshops and Heather, the manager, is very good at keeping it fun with the various challenges, holiday celebrations, and more...

YogaSix Sunnyvale is like my second home. I’ve been coming here ever since they opened and my practice has evolved so much because of the class options and skilled instructors. Compared to another big name yoga franchise in the area that I went to, the instructors here have such a helpful and professional way of queuing the poses uses clear descriptor words, which has really helped me. Also the hygiene here is great. I have developed better form, flexibility, breathing techniques, and relief for my stressed body. Everyone that works here is very sweet including Heather the GM (who is such a bright light), which sets a good tone when I first walk in that translates to a great class. Also look forward to the cold towels after each class!

I love this studio. All the staff and instructors are so nice. Lots of different classes to choose from and the price is affordable. So happy to have found an awesome yoga studio nearby.

I am a chiropractor and love that the instructors don’t push beginners too hard and teach alternate poses, but also allow the more experienced yogis a good class.

The Power class at the Sunnyvale location was my first hot class. I really liked it! Our leader (Zsofia) was perfect. She warmed us up, led us into challenging flow then balance then twist segments. Her welcoming attitude was just right. I will return whenever I am in the area to visit.
Absolutely nothing but praise for the front desk (Heather), organizational or equipment aspects.
Mike (on daughter Jill’s account)

I attended another session this morning. It was half full so there was plenty of room. The instructor Nikita was soft spoken but roamed around the room so we could see her example. I thoroughly enjoyed this class also. If I could do this every day I would be in awesome shape!

I joined Sunnyvale Y6 studio back in February when they opened and am finally writing a review. I love coming to yoga classes here because of the fantastic teachers, the clean studio, friendly staff and selection of formats. It's so great to be greeted by Heather's cheery smile when coming into the studio. The holiday themed classes such as today's Diwali themed Slow Flow class with Tania was so much fun. I've been going to Yoga6 sunnyvale for a month now, and it's been a super fun experience so far. Here are a few things I like about it:
Likes:
1. Consistent class timings-- I'm new to the area and I noticed a lot of places don't have classes at fixed times daily. At yoga6, my schedule is undisturbed and I love that.
2. All of the instructors I've had classes with are supportive and kind. All of them have their own style of instructing, but maintain consitency in a few practices which I like.
3. Great playlist.
4. I was sceptical about the lighting at first but I defintely see the appeal now.

A few pointers:
1. I always attend the 6am class. So from Monday to friday, its power-hot-sculpt-hot-TRX, which sometimes feels kinda strenuous especiialy by thursday. maybe an addition of one Slow flow during the week at 6am would be helpful.
2. A bit of assitance and time dedicated to peak poses to see progress would be helpful.
3. While the hot room defintelty makes you sweat, maybe there's a few classes having slightly controlled heat to understand how much your body is working in order to break a sweat?

Overall, Love it. I'll be coming in for a while.

I wish the owner took this studio more seriously. Other YogaSix studios nearby are much better than this one.

Poor policies:
They allow cell phones in the class. Yeah, you hear notifications and strange audios from time to time from those cell phones in the class.

Poor management:
One day I appeared at the door for a 6:00AM class I booked and was told the class got cancelled.

Inexperienced instructors:
Most teachers are inexperienced with a couple of exceptions. Sequences are sometimes dangerous to do. Even the instructors themself would fall. Classes are not structured well even for the more experienced instructors. The classes are very irritating if you have ever practiced yoga for some time.

The only thing I like is its location. I wish there's more competition in this area. That will either force them to pay attention to details or close.

After trying one class I decided to join and have been greatly enjoying attending YogaSix classes in Sunnyvale! They have a range of different classes, I really like the Hot and slow flow classes! I find all of the instructors to be friendly and caring, asking me how my experience was, and showing me modifications I can make. I really enjoy taking Tania P.'s classes- her classes have a good flow, and I feel well promted during the class. She creates a very welcome space. I also really like the Restore class with Marina P. This is my first time taking yoga classes and so far I’m liking it.
What I like:
1) Ambience, music and the people
2) Most instructors are really good and very professional. Special shoutout to Lauren - Love her flows and she is very beginner friendly!
3) I’ve attended 101, Restore, Hot and Slow Flow so far. In all these classes, the instructors guide you well enough which is very helpful as a beginner
4) I like the complimentary towels and cleaning supplies given. The place is also kept very clean and has sufficient storage to keep your stuff in

What I dislike:
1) They allow more people in the space than what the space can accommodate. You will often find yourself super close to others which is at times very uncomfortable. You’d have to make adjustments to your poses to avoid hitting your neighbor. Would have been better if the number of students were limited so that mats could be placed further apart.
2) I understand that few of the instructors here are relatively inexperienced, but I felt there are few repetitive mistakes being made in the beginner friendly classes. I found it a bit annoying at times when the instructions were messed up or unclear. Makes it difficult to concentrate on the actual poses. I hope this is taken as a strong constructive criticism.

Apart from these two pain points, the classes are actually very good. Would be happy to update the rating and review in the future if corrective actions are taken.

It’s a beautiful studio! Brand new and love the lighting and atmosphere. My minus 4 stars is more centered around the instructors. A needed new addition to Downtown Sunnyvale! The welcoming front desk staff adds to the charm, and the refreshing cold towels are a delightful bonus. However, the space can be a tad snug, occasionally leading to a crowded feel where you might find yourself inadvertently touching your neighbor's fingers in certain poses.

I've enjoyed the Sculpt and Flow classes led by Golnaz, and they're undoubtedly cardio-focused and highly recommend it. Golnaz injects lively energy into the session, making it enjoyable. Expect to work up a sweat, but you'll leave feeling invigorated. Approach it with a cardio mindset, blending in some yoga flows, and you'll be thoroughly satisfied with the results.

Amit's Hot Yoga class has been a source of great enjoyment for me as well. Personally, I find that the warmth of the room enhances my connection with the flows, allowing me to delve deeper into each posture. Amit's serene energy aligns seamlessly with the focus on breathing and posture refinement. Although the pace may be slower, you'll still experience a satisfying sweat and emerge feeling noticeably more grounded.

The severe management approach and poor communication at Yoga 6 have damaged its reputation by failing to uphold healthy relationships with members and neighbors.

This approach, marked by inconsistencies, disrespect, and disproportionate pressures, contradicts the interests of its customer base, primarily composed of local neighbors, detrimental to the image of a small yet formal business in a small town and we are not happy about that:
(this explains noting that the hardworking trainers of this group are not my target)

A very poor management experience has been carried out by the managers of this facility, casting a shadow of dissatisfaction in relations with neighbors and members, as if the sole priority of this working group is the collection of profits. Last week, when I came for the 6 AM class I had booked a week in advance, I was surprised to see all the class members standing outside the locked door with no one available to respond!!! After standing in the cold and rainy weather for 15 minutes, we were forced to leave, and there had been no contact with us, neither for cancellation nor to apologize for this incident.

As we know, planning for a 6 AM class definitely requires waking up at 5 AM and preparing to be ready for the class you counted on!!

This incident passed until the next day...
When the 6 AM slot had been previously booked and upon my arrival to connect to the studio, to my utmost surprise, I found the door closed and a group of people standing in the cold and rain in front of the door again, and for the second time, there was a blatant disregard for the members as everyone was canceled, and after standing for 8 minutes, at 6:08, an email was sent stating the 6 AM session is canceled?!?!!

After contacting the management, they stated that the classes were canceled and they were unable to notify us!!!!!

After discussions with the lady manager, it was agreed that she would talk to her husband and contact us to satisfy the customer and correct the management weakness, but no contact has been made after 1 week (after she mentioned that we will call you back) …
and it shows only the personal benefit of the facility + disregarding the satisfaction and respect of customers and neighbors is at the forefront of their behavior?!!!!

On March 6th, while visiting the classroom, according the reservation, I was denied entry for a 1 minute 30 second delay - a delay which, after some discussion, they claimed increased to 2 minutes and prevented me from entering.(Considering that there was an empty spots in the room)

This incident represents a catastrophic failure of behavior that completely disregards any sense of human dignity and business integrity and clearly shows that the main focus of this management is solely on advancing customer acquisition without valuing human and Behavior with neighbors, noting that the hardworking trainers of this group are not my target.

There are quite a few yoga studios in the South Bay, and I’ve had the pleasure of going to Y6 in Santa Clara, Mountain View as well as Corepower and as much as I really wanted to love Y6 Sunnyvale there’s just areas that need to be addressed.

The Good
1) Front desk is lovely and so kind / welcoming
2) Brand new and very clean facility

The Cons
1) Inexperienced instructors. Minus a few, everyone else felt very unstructured and confused. Amit, Samantha and Randy are exceptions and are great but don’t have nearly enough slots to cover the whole studio
2) Sculpt and Flow, it’s too inconsistent. Some instructors even have kick boxing in here which felt very out of place
3) it’s not nearly as hot as all the other studios I had listed above

I have been practicing yoga for many years and I've been to Yoga6 in Mountain View and Santa Clara. I just had my first yoga class in this studio, it was a Yoga Sculpt & Flow, but it was basically a bootcamp on the mat in 90F, which even involved 10-20 mins cardio and kickboxing... It was super weird and not a Yoga class for sure. The instructor Taylor, I think she's a great instructor for a bootcamp class not a yoga instructor (that's why I gave 2 star instead of one) The music was loud and too energetic for a yoga class. I didn't expect a bootcamp class at 7pm, plus my back pain got worse after the class, because I was expecting a Yoga class not a bootcamp or kickboxing class!
