In essence, our opening day was celebrated more than just fitness- it was a celebration of community, adaptability, and a shared journey toward healthier, stronger lives!

Hello. I want to take a moment of your time to thank you for all you do for us and your efforts to make our gym fun
In Jan it will be a year we joined and although this year was not a weightloss journey for me, it has defenitly been a journey to strengthen my joints and muscles. You have seen my bad RA days but those were not my worst. There were days my pain wouldn't let me walk normal or use my hands.
One of my saddest days was the moment I realized I could no longer wear heels. It was too painful to my joints
But although this past year I have not lost weight, I have gained so much strength n movement has made me stronger. And now I am able to wear heels again, I can walk n jump n do daily activities without assistance. Im Sure meds also help but I'm positive your coaching n opening the doors Io your gym has made a huge difference.
So on the days that you stress n wonder if doing all you do for the gym is worth it.... Know that its definitely worth it. Our community is blessed to have Yosemite strength and training and especially you 💕 he's a pic of my feet wearing heels again 🙏✨🙌🫶

Yosemite Strength and Training was so crucial to my postpartum recovery. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Julie and all of the amazing trainers. I not only regained my physical strength, but was able to transition back to work and busy mom life, while staying mentally well too! Appreciate you all so much and strongly recommend this gym to all!!

I can’t recommend Yosemite Strength Training enough! As a senior looking to improve my strength and balance, I was a bit nervous about joining a gym. But after talking with Julie, I learned about the Legend class, and I’m so happy I decided to join! Julie is an excellent instructor and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is fantastic, people of all ages and sizes, and everyone is super friendly and welcoming

Amazing gym, Amazing trainers. Julie and Alicia are super knowledgeable and lead you through full body workouts while providing modifications so you can have the best workout. They are encouraging and provide helpful feedback on form during workouts. There is real community at this gym and I always looked forward to my next workout!

I started attending Yosemite Strength and Training in 2018 and fell in love with weight training. At Yosemite Strength and Training I found motivation, accountability, and encouragement after a tough season. The coaches are knowledgable and kind and the members are welcoming and total champions for one another. This is a great place to find your health and fitness “home”!

I love this gym!! You always know you're going to get a great workout when you walk onto the floor--I appreciate having workouts designed for me so I don't have to think about what to do when I get to the gym. The coaches are great at modifying the movements to your abilities, whether it's your first time in a gym or you're an avid gym-goer. They can modify to be mindful of injuries as well. The community is encouraging--we always love to see each other lift heavier, get faster, or learn new skills. My son has also participated in the Kids Camps and he LOVES it--always begging for me to sign him up for another session.

Yosemite Strength and Training is amazing! This gym is like coming home to family. Everyone is kind, helpful and fun to work out with. The workouts are amazing. I really appreciate that everything is tailored and done for me because planning a workout is not my strength and it saves me time in my busy schedule. The workouts have different levels that push you, but the coaches are always there to help you modify in anyway you need, so don’t be afraid or intimidated. Every coach is amazing. Julie really knows her stuff and makes sure she has a top level team. I saw immediate results. I am stronger than ever and more confident. I love the way I feel! I highly recommend this gym to anyone who will listen.

I love this gym! Julie and all of the coaches are encouraging and meet you where you are. Yes, it’s challenging but it’s not a typical “gym” atmosphere designed to make you feel inferior. All ages and stages are welcome and we all root for one another. I’ve been coming consistently for almost three years and I’ve made good friends and gotten in shape at the same time. What more could you want?

Dropped in while we were staying in Oakhurst on two separate mornings. Parking was easy. The gym is good sized with ample room for class sizes. The members were very friendly and welcoming! The coaching was great with good explanations and demos. Equipment was in great shape and everything was clean. If you are staying in the area, I completely recommend dropping in for a workout!

This place is FANTASTIC! The owners are knowledgable and truly care about their clients. The class sizes are smaller so you get personal attention and a kick BUTT work out every time! This is the first gym I've actually wanted to attend continuously! They work with your skill level and are always encouraging! I HIGHLY recommend Crossfit Yosemite!!

Julie is an awesome gym owner. I am not a crossfitter by any means but really wanted a space to do some olympic weightlifting and powerlifting training. She was totally understanding and let me train independently from the crossfit classes. She even let me bring my dog in the gym while I trained. Super friendly gym. Will make you feel comfortable.

There are many classes available throughout each day, providing me with a flexible workout schedule. The group workouts are challenging and each class is slightly different, so the workout is never dull. The instructors are clear and demonstrate proper form of exercises and the gym is clean and well maintained. Definitely an amazing place to get you in shape and have fun while doing it so!

A small group of us dropped in for a session whilst we were on holiday in Yosemite. Such a fab group of people, very welcoming, and they made us feel right at home.
We emailed a few days before, booked and paid for the drop in session online, so there was no admin hassle when we got there.
It is a great, modest size box. Julie was super friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for having us!

After 6 months of being a member, 2 major life changes have blessed me. 1) my constant back pain or feeling of my “back being out” is nonexistent. For years it’s been my normal to live with it and chalk it up as being in my late 30’s. 2) uncontrollable sobbing/ugly crying did not happen when I put my swimsuit on for the first time this year. I actually gave myself a high-five because this is literally the first year for as long as I can remember that I didn’t have a severe emotional event over a bathing suit.

If you answered yes to any of the above then this gym is the for you.
I’ve been going to this gym for a few months now ,and I have ability now that I haven’t had in over 20 yrs.
The instructors are great at teaching you proper form ,and watching your form though out the sessions to insure that you don’t hurt yourself.
Not everyone is a gold metal Olympic gymnast or three time world champion bodybuilder.
The members and the instructors are real people and very encouraging.
I haven’t found there to be any “meatheads” or “stuck up” people at this place.
So if you are looking for a place to workout for a day or looking for a new place to proudly call your gym. Stop by and see what it’s all about.
Your going to love this place more than tacos........ok maybe not more than tacos

I love this gym and its wonderful leader! She is so knowledgeable and full of energy! We have fun while getting stronger and more fit! Best gym around! Not only is this gym family oriented, with kids classes, but also there is something for everyone. If you are looking for a 12 week program to completely change your life through diet and exercise, it is here. In addition, there are regularly scheduled classes. Everyone encourages each other and form is key. I appreciate her precision on ensuring safety for members.
I’ve asked Julie to help me focus on strengthening my lower body. She makes additional workouts specifically for me, which I complete in addition to the workout.
I love the family feel when coming here. Come out and try it!

A gym for everyone- including this working momma in her 30’s---feleing fantastic and strong! Incredibly proud to be part of this gym that makes the Crossfit community proud. The coaching staff is extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Workouts focus on functional movements that are modified for each individuals fitness level. I have personally worked out with a wide range of athletic abilities including individuals age 60+, “kids” in their 20s, and men and women with a wide range of fitness levels. The coaching staff creates workouts that are group oriented and make a conscious effort to support each athlete's personal goals. The group of athletes in this gym is encouraging and motivating. The staff supports our local community and has organized multiple events and activities for their members and their family members. The coaches truly care about each of their member's health and wellness inside and out of the gym. This is truly a great environment for anyone looking to get fit from the inside out.
