I coach fitness and nutrition online, helping queer men who are approaching and over 40, to look and feel better than they ever thought possible, and to build the confidence they deserve.

I give you the tools and support you need in order to lose fat, gain muscle, and create a lifelong relationship with your body.

My business is based in SF but I coach guys all over the US and Canada.

Working with Zach has been an amazing experience. He built personalized routines that truly aligned with my goals and made sure every workout had a purpose. His feedback on my macros and exercises has been spot on and has helped me see real progress.

I like most of all that it is not a 'one size fits all' plan. Zach takes time to communicate via calls and messages to know who you are, where you are on your fitness/health journey, what you are looking for, how he can help and then plan your program.

What I really love about working with Zach is how he specializes his training for every client. He has helped me to find my fitness and nutrition goals, and as things change in my life, he is more than willing to change our workouts and our priorities.

At first, I wasn’t so sure about the format – thinking that I may be needed to be in person with my trainer more. But I’ve totally changed my mind about that since working with Zach. First, he is extremely attentive. If I have a question, he answers so quickly. Also, the fact that it’s mostly virtual means that I can do the workouts when I want. I don’t have to build my whole schedule around appointments with my trainer.

I highly recommend Zach, especially if you are a gay man in his 40s or 50s. He understands the male body and aging, he understands the gay aesthetic and the intense gay pressure to look good, he understands all permutations of fitness goals, and he has the knowledge to get you there. He is enthusiastic, encouraging, and kind even as he’s holding you accountable – exactly what you want in a trainer.

Addendum: I just passed my 90-day mark, and I can tell you that my body has never looked better. Moreover, the workouts are helping me get through some pretty difficult life transitions right now. Throughout it all, Zach has been right there with me, attentive and understanding, and has designed a program that truly meets my needs.

From day one, Zach took the time to understand my specific goals, fitness history, and any limitations I had. Rather than giving me a cookie-cutter program, he designed workouts that were challenging yet achievable for my current fitness level.

Zach is incredibly responsive and always available to answer questions, whether it’s about proper form, nutrition guidance, or adjusting workouts when life gets busy. His encouragement and check-ins kept me motivated throughout the entire month.

I just completed my first month of training and I'm amazed by the results so far. Coach Zach has been there through my training every step of the way, and the motivation he provides is out of this world. The online tools provided are so easy to follow and are tailored to one's needs. I know there are folks out there that are skeptical about online fitness programs, but coach Zach is a true Master at what he does and you will not be disappointed. I just completed my first month working with Zach and it's been one of the best fitness / nutrition coaching experiences I've had. He's built a super robust program with online tools and apps that put you in the driver seat, but he's always there taking stock of what you're up to and providing guidance. What I appreciate most is he's seemingly always there to answer questions quickly and provide timely feedback on form for workouts.

Zach's program is participatory and requires you holding yourself accountable / tracking your nutrition and activity, but I really find this is the only way to make meaningful progress while also learning skills that I can carry into my practice beyond even after my time with him.
