Hi, I’m Sara Zambrotti—a certified personal trainer and small business owner based in the East Bay. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, I fell in love with fitness in 2011 after joining my dad on his health journey. What started as park workouts with friends has grown into a full-time business helping women feel strong, confident, and empowered. Let’s train with purpose and build a healthier you!

It’s been a couple years that I have been coming to Zamba. It has changed my life in so many ways. I used to weigh 200lbs and I’m now down to 156lbs. With Sara’s support, motivation, and rotating workouts it has made it managable and keeps me interested. I always feel like my bodily needs, concerns, and fitness desires are heard. I can’t suggest this gym highly enough. Go!

Working out with Sara in her women-only personal training program has completely changed how I feel about fitness. I have tried several fitness classes but most of these classes did not keep me motivated. I loved my barre class but the studio closed abruptly. I wanted somewhere that was consistent, convenient and enjoyable. My daughter suggested Sara as she has trained with her before. I'm so glad she referred me to Sara!

I have been training with Sara for the last few months and I have noticed a difference, not just physically but also mentally. She is so positive and encouraging that it makes me want to work as hard as I can. Her personality is the best! The workout space is awesome and so organized! Joining Zamba’s was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health. Sara is truly a gem! I was so intimidated stepping into a gym since I had never lifted weights in my life, but she introduced me to the different exercises and walked me through the science behind them. I quickly gained confidence.

She is attentive to your needs, thoughtful in her approach, and always ready to design or adjust your training plan based on your fitness goals. She motivates you every step of the way, regularly checks in to make sure you feel good and happy while on your path to success.

She also offers body scans to track your progress and recovery sessions (which are much appreciated after the tiring but fun workouts she has me doing haha!). Sara is not only an amazing coach but also the best motivator, and I genuinely look forward to seeing her every week.

And bonus points… her gym is dog friendly!

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Sara and her gym. Before starting at Zamba's I was not a person who got excited about working out, and definitely did not have much direction in terms of goals or a plan for working out. Now, I have been working out with Sara for over 3 years and have benefitted in so many ways. I am stronger than I have ever been, I am confident in the motions I am making, and my overall outlook has changed a lot. Sara took something that was daunting and intimidating and made it feel like learning and working out with an old friend. She is patient, she pushes you in all the right ways, she makes sure you are using the right muscles and that you can understand the difference, she varries up the sessions to be well rounded but not redundant, she is easy to schedule and reschedule with, and honestly is just a wonderful person that I enjoy being around.

Aside from a great workout with great company, one of my favorite added benefits of working out with Sara are her two furry assistants - Tiger and Buddy - I have never really worked out with dogs around and it has become not only my favorite way to work out, but also a fun way for me to exercise my dogs while I exercise myself. :)

I highly recommend working out with Sara if you are looking for a positive empowering environment, a good work out, and a new friend. :) 100/10!

I started working out with Sarah back in 2022, and I can honestly say she’s one of the best things that happened to my fitness journey. As a total beginner, I was nervous about getting started, but Sarah created such a welcoming and beginner-friendly environment that I instantly felt at ease.

What I really love about her is that she doesn’t come off like a typical “coach.” There’s no pressure, no push for strict diets or rigid routines. 10/10 recommend training with Sara! I’ve been working out with her since 2023 and she has supported my goals and adapted my workouts throughout my hectic work schedule, pregnancy and postpartum periods. She is incredibly knowledgeable and I trust that she will help me have a safe, effective work out every session. I love that it’s 1:1 (or a group session if you prefer) so you get the support, attention and education you need - without the gym anxiety! Her prices are also very reasonable.
