Signed up as an individual for rec. soccer league; was fully registered and a spot confirmed. In the days leading up to my first game I still had not received a schedule or any information about my team. It took me sending them emails to be advised that they were unable to place me on a team. I had arranged my work and travel schedule around the games, had gone out and bought new gear and now - without any notice - I had nothing. Way to go Zog Sports!

I truly have enjoyed playing at night in the various ZogSports leagues that I have participated in. The leagues are well organized and the referees are great. Madison & Zach referee the indoor volleyball league at Evergreen Valley College and they make sure to call a fair game every week, which I really appreciate. The referees also address any questions or concerns that may arise on a weekly basis. Playing in a ZogSports league has been amazing & it is a great opportunity to meet new people. I absolutely love ending my day by playing sports with a great group of individuals!

I found my love for volleyball a little late in life, but I’m glad I did! Zog sports has provided an amazing experience. I’ve played two seasons with them and planning a third. From friendly players and referees to the great, well kept venues 10/10 would recommend!

My friends and I thought it’d be fun to do a pickleball league despite not having experience playing pickleball. We had a great time playing an 8week summer league. My only complaint was some games started at 8:30pm which was a little late for me but we otherwise had a lot of fun playing and meeting other folks in the community!

Zog has been such a fun experience! Met tons of new friends and got to practice volleyball with an organized schedule. I like the new app with the dates and times of all games that lets me chat with my teammates. We get to choose our team name which is fun but I wish we could choose our team color somehow. Any chance for a championship prize in the future? Will definitely keep playing with Zog forever!!

I play in the Santa Clara soccer league, and keep coming back season after season because it’s fun, the people are great, the fields are top notch, and the league is well run, organized, and professional. I’ve been playing for a few years now and games consistently start on time, there’s always a ref, and it’s just the right level of competition for me. As someone who’s played in a lot of recreational leagues across the country, I would highly recommend!

If you're looking to play in organized sports leagues in San José, ZogSports is a great option!

I can only speak to the co-ed soccer leagues (have been playing in those for 7 years now), and it's a great way to get some workout in and meet with friends while playing soccer! Though from time to time there may be some teams that play more "aggresively", most of the teams are friendly and nice to play with/against, and refs also do a good job of keeping things in check. The organizers of the leagues are also nice and helpful.

There are leagues for different days of the week, and on weekends also, so it's easy to find one that suits your scheduling needs. I used to play the one at San José High School, which fields are good (although sometimes the goals where a bit battered, and also players had to bring them out / put them away before the first / after the last game of the day), but am now playing in the one at Reed & Grant Sports Park, and the fields there are awesome!

Another good thing is that you can sign up either as a full team with your friends, or just yourself as a free agent and you'll get assigned to a team by the organizers. The sign up fees are a bit pricy for my taste, but kind of reasonable for the bay area, I guess.

Great soccer league! League has a great mix of skill levels and the refs keep the games safe and well managed with good sportsmanship. The Reed and Grant field is a great field to play on. As someone who only played in a recreational league as a youth, I feel I’m still able to contribute and get a great workout in.
I’ve heard that sometimes Zog has had minor scheduling/website/communication issues that may occur when you’re the team lead, but I can’t speak to that.

Been playing with zogsports for almost 4 years now on Monday and Tuesday league. Play at the Santa Clara(Reed and grant park) football fields. They are amazing to play on and also the level of the game is great. The referees are friendly and keep the aggressive nature in check. It’s a fun league to play in and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a soccer league to play consistently.

I’ve been playing flag football for almost 10 years now. The league has great people and the refs are pretty chill. Occasionally, you’ll have overly competitive teams that want to bicker back and forth, but for the most part, it’s not too bad.

Over the years, the price has increased; yet, the number of games per season has decreased. Also, the quality of their shirts has definitely gone down. After washing them, they shrink 1-2 sizes so I would recommend sizing up. I’m usually a small, but the medium fits like a small after I wash it. They also use a shirt delivery service (which is better than picking them up), but it’s usually a game late. This sucks when you’re only scheduled 6 games a season now.

Overall, I would recommend the league, but it could be better.

We have playing soccer with Zogsports about 3 years. Apart from receiving tshirts late few times, there weren't any major problems with the league. Refs are very cool and friendly. They know the rules pretty well and they can deescalate the situation when tensions rise.

I've participated in two leagues with ZogSports this past year; one in the spring and the other in the summer. League was very well run. Refs seemed experienced. Rules were well defined & followed by all parties. Players had the choice to join a competitive or intermediate level, which was effective in matching up players at similar skill levels.

Their website also does a solid job of connecting players to each other. Joining this league manifested in many ad-hoc happy hours and made lasting friends through the process.

Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun, yet competitive experience in team sports.

Looks cool, but you have to be 21 to sign up on the grounds that they refer to being that "we party after every game." I would like to sign up being a 20 year old and would be happy to just play in a league if it means I have to skip out on drinking afterwards. I'd probably have to wake up early for work the next day anyway...
If this is truly the reason that the requirement is 21 this is quite silly and frustrating to me that I can't sign up for this spring season. Because while I will turn 21 in the fall I will begin school so I likely won't have the same amount of time to play anyway... Pobrecito

Zog Sports absolutely deserves zero stars as they are the Theranos of the recreation sports world. Their Softball leagues in the San Jose market are ran horribly (and that is an understatement)! They literally do nothing right and it has been this way for years, we signed up to give another chance now that they rent newer fields.

However same old...same old with some recent examples:

- Scheduling games at a city field during a city holiday. So we had to play either without bases and some teams not playing at all while getting a trespassing warning
- Some games an umpire simply does not show up
- If the teams decide the scrimmage and the umpire eventually shows up they will count that as a game
- 50/50 on if you are getting ASA or USSSA rules for the game or a mix of the two
- Trash in the dugouts
- Zero warning for weather related cancels
- Shortened championship games
- Coin flip on if the fields match their schedules
- No scoreboards being used
- Old equipment
- We thought with them renting high end fields, this would change but no
- Zero apologies

Leagues were cancelled due to Covid-19. Zogsports decided to eat the money and refuse to issue refunds. Org has claimed that they have fixed costs from facilities, marketing, t shirts, etc. but I call BS. My league was outdoor so there was virtually no cost to the org outside the park fee - equipment was brought by the players, etc. Leagues themselves are ok, but not terribly diverse. Mostly preppy, go drink after playing kind of culture.

This is my first season playing with ZogSports and it has been going very well! The refs have been pretty reasonable and the gyms are all very nice. My only issue has been traveling to a few of the gyms that are too far away for me to get to after work. 95% of the time we have been at the same gym but a couple of the games have been a little inconvenient to travel to but overall I would recommend ZogSports to anyone who is looking for a weekly sports league.

I would give 5 stars if the refs had not given me a technical foul for touching the ball after my team had scored. I did that three times and it was completely instinctual.

This is a fun coed volleyball league that offer two divisions, a casual and competitive division. Real good facility at Bascom Community Center. I’ve played of and on over the years. This league is a lot of fun to play in. Had to take this season off because I broke my finger last season. Should be back next year.

Been playing Co-ed Flag Football for this league for years now, hands down one of the best leagues in the Bay Area. Good prices, great refs, and lots of options for days to play. I would highly recommend them for a group of friends or company team building.

This has been a great league for the last few years that I have played in. All the players are really friendly and fun to play with. The refs are really far and know what they doing out there.

Dynamic is a great company and program. I joined a kickball league last year with some coworkers and friends and had sooo much fun that this is now our 5th season. Great staff and umpires always looking to make sure people are having a good time, well organized, and a perk is most of the other teams are fun people to get to know as well. I hope to sign up for one of their soccer or dodgeball leagues soon. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to stay active with a fun/competitive edge

The quality has gone way, way down ever since they were kicked out of Twin Creeks. They are now struggling to find fields which this current session to start almost 4 weeks late. My team was originally told to play on Wednesday because that's the day they had the most teams which we found out was a lie since they only had 5 teams and we were schedule to play multiple back-to-back games to fill in their schedule. I have completely given up on them and their terrible referees whom I can only assume hate working for them due to the attitude that are shown during the games. One of our players was yellow carded for not giving enough space for a free-kick and then immediately red carded for asking where he was supposed to stand. A couple of minutes later, I was yellow carded after being taken out from the side which is now severely bruised and purple. The referees are terrible, the management is terrible, no professionalism whatsoever, no wonder it's the cheapest league in the area. Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
