This gym has a nice facility, and my daughter enjoyed being part of a team here for nearly three years. Unfortunately, the professionalism and support from the coaching staff and leadership were severely lacking when challenges arose.
During her first year at the gym, my daughter expressed interest in pursuing college gymnastics. Her coach was not supportive. Instead of encouraging her while being realistic, the coach discouraged her and even refused to teach her new skills, stating, βWhy should I teach you new skills if you are going to leave anyway?β This was deeply disappointing, as we were paying facility and coach to teach her. My daughter chose to stay because of the friendships she had built with her teammates.
The following year, my daughter moved up a level and had a different coach. As a middle schooler navigating personal struggles, my daughter handled some issues poorly with her coach but they appeared to have been resolved. Later in the season, more issues arose but the director made decisions without hearing all sides and communicated things that should have been addressed personally via email. We attempted to contact her coach multiple times but both my daughter and I were ghosted. My 14 year old CHILD called the coach and texted her requesting a meeting to resolve the matter and the coach didnβt ever reply! The coach is an ADULT responsible for mentoring and coaching CHILDREN! Despite paying non-refundable competition fees, the only option offered was for her to compete without a coachβs backingβa serious safety concern. This left my daughter unsupported and she was forced to leave the gym.
Over the course of our time there, I invested more than $10,000 and consistently supported the program and the coaches, even when I may have disagreed with them. When real issues arose, the way they were handled was unprofessional, dismissive, and deeply concerning. I recently contacted the owner of the gym to express my concerns and I didnβt even get the courtesy of a reply. This is the thanks you get for spending your money there. Families considering this gym should be aware that while the facility is nice, the leadership and some coaching support may fall short when it truly matters.

My twin boys absolutely love it here. They are expected to be restful, work hard, and listen. We go 3 to 4 times a week. The coaches are knowledgeable, caring, and hold them to solid expiations.
We've just started team now and I am super impressed with the quality of the coaches and the employees. They do a great job. The coaches are engaged, knowledgeable and present.

This is the best place for gymnastics! My son is on the team and has grown so much from the sport and amazing coaches. They challenge the athletes while also keeping it fun and safe. My son has gained a lot of confidence and resilience from the program.

I couldnβt recommend 20 Mile athletics enough! My son has been on the Menβs Team for over 8 years and the coaches and owner Cesar are progressive, consistent and supportive. My daughter is also on the Excel team and we feel the same with her coaches. There isnβt a better gym than 20 Mile!

Love this gym! My son learned so many valuable skills for gymnastics and life beyond the gym. His years at 20 Mile shaped him into the dedicated athlete, as well as, fostered his tenacity and grit.

My son started at 20 Mile in 2019 as a level 4. With hard work and great coaching from Coach Cesar, Coach Blake, and Coach Kevin, he is now a level 9. He enjoys his teammates, has gained confidence and leadership skills, and looks forward to going to practice every day.

I really wanted to love this place for my toddler but the coach is terrible and does not know how to work with toddlers. I tried handling this with the guy who oversees the preschool program but he called once and never followed back up again. The coach sits on the side and points at the toddlers to show them the activities.

Not only does my daughter do gymnastics here with amazing coaches, we had her bday party here and the coaches were PHENOMENAL! they helped make the party great and who doesn't want an open gym at their gymnastics to play with their best friends?! Highly recommend kids doing gymnastics here, it's been around for a long time and they know what they're doing.

This place has taken a nose dive. Ownership recently changed and itβs noticeable. The coaches might as well have a phone in their hand bc they just stare at the wall while the kids create their own class. My daughter was bored and not learning a single thing. Then the gym started cancelling classes bc they needed to raise funds (bc people are dropping like flies) and they refused to credit my payment back so I tried calling to speak to a manager regarding refund and the woman who answered screamed at me and hung up the phone. Tried calling back the following week to disenroll my child and no one picked up the phone, I had to email to disenroll. Not sure how they except to run a business like this??? Yikes

We had my daughters birthday party here and it was such a fun experience! The facility is large and the two coaches we had were so kind and energetic. We were going to another gynmastics studio but we are going to switch over to here.

My daughter has been at this gym almost 3 years with over 6 different coaches, the latest one threatening her (she is 9), the staff is unfriendly and the gym has declined significantly in the past 6 months. One of the teachers was 14 and had them run laps the majority of the time. Not a good fit and need more stability with staffing.

Our kids have been a part of 20 MAC since 2009.
Over the last 7 years we've experienced summers filled with team outings to amusement parks, swimming pools and family BBQ's; to winters random celebrations and holiday parties.
The coaches are exceptional. They are not only producing elite gymnasts, but also instruct these kids on life skills; self respect, support & respect for their team, discipline to work hard and the importance of being considerate to others. The coaches are always accessible and communicate constantly with parents, keeping us informed of any challenges our kids may be experiencing and goals they may have set.
This is a supportive community that we are proud to be a part of, that our kids love to attend, and that we encourage anyone looking for a place to call home - to join.

If you are looking for a gymnastics center that takes young kids through high school, this is a good gym! Our 8 year old daughter goes here and she really enjoys it. There are teams here that compete.
There is also a large number of make gymnasts that train here and from what I've seen, they are very well trained. But I'm not a professional gymnasts.... So go see for yourself.
Only down side that we've seen so far are 2 things. First, if your child isn't on a competing team, they don't train as hard or advance as fast. Second, the seating to watch your kids isn't very comfortable... But that's less important really.

This post is mainly aimed towards my kidsβ tumbling instructor, Lexi. She is so great with the kids. She inspires the kids to do better. They pick a tumbling goal and a reward (soda, donut, cookie, etc) and when they reach the goal she gives them the reward purchased with her own money. She also comes out to talk to the parents after every tumbling class to explain what the kids are working on.

To start, when my daughter, aged 10 started, she was in a group that, at times consisted of 1 girl about half her age. She did however get put into a bigger group and enjoyed it for a while. When we decided to give gymnastics a break, we let them know but they had to have it writing to pull her out and then we had to continue paying for 30 more days.

This gym became or new home when our other gym closed its doors. It was hard finding a new gym, but they welcomed us with open arms. They are definitely a family oriented gym. The recreational classes are always full, the boys team is one of the best I've ever seen in my many years of gymnastics, and the many options for girls to compete at many levels is amazing. Girls can compete in USAG (more hours of training and competitions) or Xcel program (less hours but still able to compete). They have brought in coaches from across the country to build a strong, solid program for all gymnasts. 20 MAC is our home away from home.
