Great at tricking people out of money. My 15 year old signed up. When he didn't have money on his debit card to pay the monthly fee, they kept charging him monthly and said the account couldn't be frozen (but kept racking up charges) until paid. In other words, preys on poor people who can't stop getting additional charges. I look forward to the class action lawsuit on this one.

Been going here for several years. Filthy, but I carry my own rag/disinfectant to clean everything I touch. No chance I would take a shower in that place e—-ewww. Anyway, for some reason they recently moved the free weights to the back by the basketball court, nowhere near the KB, added more squat racks where functional training used to be. Now I’m relegated to the fitness room and I have to run in and out to get the free weights I need. The new set up makes no sense! Looking for a new gym.

On a separate note, Nick is a great trainer! He gets 5 stars.

I walked into this gym in February to cancel my membership, I spoke with the manager at the time who was a thin, blonde haired, blonde mustached individual who after reviewing my account, verbally confirmed my cancellation. After reviewing my bank statements, I discovered I was still being charged. So I called the gym, only to hear from a "Dalton" that "If I don't have an email confirmation, their is nothing I can do". Which basically reads "because our operational due diligence in confirming/documenting cancellations is so broken, its best I put the burden on the consumer for furnishing email proof, which was never communicated or pressed on when cancelling. What a fraudulent system they have there and what a joke a GM to hold zero accountability for a seemingly busted or intentionally busted documentation process. I have filed a complaint with the state attorney and the BBB. These people are FRAUDS

Not sure this place is ever cleaned properly. Hot tub had a dog trash bag in the filter and a pile of hair for many days in a row. Sauna has gunk in the drain and little hairs all over the floor. The pool you can also see hairs floating all over.

Showers hardly ever have soap in the dispensers.

Weights for bar equipment are just all over the place with zero organization.

Lina 100 percent scammed me with her sales pitch on my membership that i am being over charged for.

Genuinely a below average gym just attempting money grab and attempting bare minimum work. As of today I wouldn’t recommend this gym.

Oh yeah how could I forget, I was changing and a girl walked into the mens locker room guided by her boyfriend and just stared at me changing as they also search for something. Probably they wanted to steal stuff. I reported them but the team member on duty at the time didn’t seem to care or know what to do. I have not been informed of anyone being reported or kick out for that.

Women beware! Where muscles are big and boundaries are small.
When I first signed up The front desk guy hit on me when giving me a tour. He repeatedly asked for my number, I told him no multiple times , I also watched him hit on multiple other young women as well. I stopped going as much because of him. I felt very uncomfortable going into the gym. I would wear baggy clothes so he wouldn’t come talk to me.
Recently, Like the front desk rep that couldn’t take no for an answer 24 hours Fitness auto renews your membership after a year without warning. No email warning ( no not in the spam) and because I signed a contract a year ago I’m stuck with the 215$ to a gym I feel uncomfortable going to.

When talking to 2 sales reps about this, they were very rude in explaining that the contract is final because I signed a year ago there was no need for email warning of auto renewal. The sales rep who sold me the membership did not explain the auto renewal. It’s a scam.

The gym itself feels over crowded , the bathrooms smell and the gym itself has way more men than women.. definitely a gym for beef heads.

If you a woman looking for a safe place to work out without men hitting on you don’t go here.

Much better than some of the other 24’s I have seen. Yet, the ongoing issue is lack of sanitation. Especially in the locker rooms and showers. Every single shower looks like this. I have even seen flies on shower walls. Please hire someone to do regular cleaning throughout each and every day.

I've been coming here for almost 3 years, I hesitated before I joined because all of the negative reviews about cleanliness. The entire time Ive been here there has NEVER been a deep clean. This place is disgusting and any of the 5 star reviews about how "clean it is" must be paid. the mens locker room, urinals, and showers are a borderline health hazard. The sauna needs new wood and is so gross. I will be submitting a formal complaint after I write this, and if nothing changes I WILL CLEAN IT MYSELF, SERIOUSLY.

Otherwise, the staff is generally friendly. This place is overcrowded especially since the 24hour off of Sheridan & 80th closed, trying to get a workout in on a monday at 6am is a joke.

Henry was super helpful in getting me the best deal possible on my membership. Super stoked to start working towards my goals and I hope this spot can meet my needs.

I would be interested to see if they would be willing to facilitate staying open longer on weekends. I look forward to maybe being able to enjoy a late night workout after my shift on a Saturday or Sunday but for now we will see.

Their gym and equipment looked functional and clean when I took my tour, hopefully that will continue to be the case as I continue to attend the gym.

I would give zero stars is possible. Store GM Dalton refused to refund a yearly fee after calling to cancel on the day of the renewal charge

Gym used to be nice 5 years ago. I moved back in the area to give it a try because it’s closer than other gyms. And I am disappointed I’m locked in for a year to a dirty gym, always smells, bathrooms are always dirty, equipment is outdated or not working, the squat racks are a lawsuit waiting to happen, which I could possibly deal with, but what puts me over the top is the customer service is awful. Doesn’t matter what time of day it’s always awful. Save your money, and join a Vasa if it’s in the area. Not to mention to bring a guest is 20$ it’s a joke. You can join Planet Fitness for a year membership for 20$ and this place charges $20 for a one day guest pass. Very disappointing, and irritating.

I have been going to this location for approximately a year now. This 24 Hour Fitness location is truly one of the best ones around. This location got wider/bigger space and multiple types of equipments. I prefer to workout early morning when people are still asleep so it's not busy. I just wish they add additional TV screens, or else I will give them 5 stars.

UPDATE after 4 mos. : Restroom smells urine that spreads up to the East part of the facility where the Treadmills are located. Time was 11 am in 2 separate days on a weekend. I have to leave instead of using the restroom and not continue my work out. :( 3 stars now instead of 4 stars.

I’ve been going to this gym for about four years now. It’s a great facility with a wonderful community and fantastic staff. Unfortunately, this location is slipping. When it was brand new, it was hard to complain about much. Just like every other 24 location, the attention to detail has deteriorated. The two young guys at the front desk were absolutely buried in their cell phones. I’m not talking about a quick glance. Somebody could be drowning in the pool and they’d have no clue. It’s pathetic to allow employees to do this. I don’t come to the gym to watch TV, but playoffs are on and their TVs were unwatchable because of signal loss. If I had to guess, it would take a slight adjustment to their satellites on the roof to remedy the issue. They’ve been like this for weeks now. In general, this gym has become dirty. I’m not looking for a canned response from management. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for better oversight. After all, there isn’t a gym without members paying their monthly dues. Please do better. Start by restricting cell phone use among your employees. It’s embarrassing.

Unfortunately this location is the only 24 Hour Fitness within 15 miles of me that has decent equipment. But there are 5+ machines down right now:( Definitely got the feeling that 24 Hour is going out of business. This location has weird vibes...I've been the recipient of A LOT of awkward staring for no apparent reason. If you're going to stare that hard at least say hello?! A lot of bad gym etiquette to the point that Ive grown numb to it. I don't expect anyone to clean machines when they're done and they DON'T. Lots of regulars who camp out on machines. FYI, when the gym is packed, you have to share, be courteous and respectful of other members. You don't monopolize machines, because you believe yourself to be more entitled, gym royalty. On that topic, there's an older male regular who is exceptionally aggressive, yelled at me last week, he had his hissy fit while he was using 2 machines at a time. Nervy!!! He's always too intense with the drama, runs around talking a lot of bs, needs to chill out. He's always there around 11am. I've actually changed my gym routine time to avoid this guy:(
The private bathroom by the big class room is most days completely disgusting. The toilet is like what you see at truck stops, and piss puddles in front of it. It's obvious that it's cleaned only once a week. Most days it's too gross to use. And maintain the combination lockers. Many of them are broken and can't be used. There are holes in the foam floor by the free weights. I stepped in one a few weeks ago while getting off bench and almost fell. Fix the holes in the floor please! The piles of disgusting debris under all machines are concerning. I saw a pair of women's underwear on the floor by the leg machines one day and it was still there 3 days later. I'm always worried about catching illness at this gym because it's so dirty. And please clean the lockers, many have dirt and mud in them. The staff needs to be cleaning more. I'm close to canceling my 24 Hour Fitness membership, really frustrated that every other 24 hour fitness near me isn't even worth going to, and this location, while it has good equipment needs attention.

April- I caught another illness from a gym member in early March. This illness was so brutal it took me out for a month. This gym is a cesspool of germs, illness! After 5 years of membership I canceled my 24 Hour Fitness. Bye!

I was in town for a month for work and wanted a place to workout. I visited 3 places and landed on 24 Hour Fitness. For the money, the flexibility, and the facilities, it was a perfect fit. It was clean, plenty of equipment, and folks just focused on themselves. Shout out to Henry for the tour and answering my questions. Thanks for a great experience.

Great and Awesome location in Arvada of 24 Hour Fitness. Staff is amazing and Professional. Front Desk staff names are Dylon, Reid, Jason and Jay. Very friendly and very helping staff. Steve, Cam and Jay are Personal Trainers , great knowledge , Tons of experience, fabulous customer service. Above all Dalton ( General Manager) Great personality, friendly, professional and hard working (Greet with smile to everyone, always working with Staff and Customers) Gym is very Spacious, lot of weight training equipments, huge weight area, lot of Cardio Equipments, Big Swimming pool, with Steam room And Sauna. Gym memberships are very reasonable, Always some specials or Deals are going on. I feel like I have my Gym family at Arvada location . So recommending Arvada location of 24 Hour Fitness to everyone for Gym needs in Golden and Arvada area.

Update to my last review. It’s still unsanitary. People still wear gym shoes in the sauna, still a lot of dirt and hair around the machines, the locker room and showers still have a ton of hair in them. I don’t know how this place is always busy? Also, it would be nice to workout without people vaping everywhere. I’ve seen them vape on the treadmills, in the corner where people are lifting, locker room and in the pool area. The people who work there just stand around at the front desk just shooting the breeze not paying attention.

It’s not bad of a place, but I do have to say it’s not very sanitary. There’s still a lot of hair around the machines, the spa area and in the lockers.
I’ll probably cancel my membership soon because they refuse to deal with a man that vapes in the hot tub, outside the hot tub and in the steam room. They also had issues when men inside the women’s locker room filming women.
It seems like this 24hr needs a complete overhaul.

I worked out a few times here in October on a trail pass. It was not busy and equipment was awesome. I have since moved to Littleton, but I received a call from Dylan, the sales manager at this location, about possible memberships. He was extremely helpful and fully explained the questions I asked him.

I’ve had a membership to this gym for the last two years and it’s done nothing but go downhill. I’m especially frustrated to see that whoever the 24 Hour Fitness team member that responds to the poor reviews for this location uses the same 3 catered responses. Attendees of this gym have been complaining about its cleanliness FOR MONTHS, and nothing has changed. All we get is “we’ll try to serve you better in the future.” 🫠

Place looks clean and everyone was friendly. Reid was very helpful showing me the different options for memberships and classes while having to answer phones and direct others to areas of the facility.
