Management is atrocious and incompetent. They cant hire someone with a working brain for their life. They can't even find someone to show up at 8am to open the gym. How hard is it to show up and unlock some doors at 8am? If your employees dont show up management should be immediately on their way to open up the gym. This happens multiple times a month and honestly don't know how corporate hasn't stepped in and cleared out the management team

Was looking forward to experiencing a nice gym compared to planet fitness. I signed up online. When I arrived I noticed the locker room was unpleasant, I would say outdated. there is no way to fill up my water, there is one water fountain in the main area and the water pressure is too low and the sink in the bathroom is too small. The hot tub is working but cold, multiple machines are down. I overheard some ladies in the locker room saying the gym is closing. I just signed up and I'm looking forward to finding a nicer location

The gym new manager is rude and arrogant. Evertime I walk in, he pretends I am invisible. I haven't received an email that they are going to close the gym although everyone else yes. Definitely discrimination and utmost hostility from this new individual. Just poor service overall. The gym is filty dirty. Because of the horrendous conditions, there are fewer members, which makes the gym equipment available. The new manager needs some training for how to be professional and friendly.

I'm not one to complain about dirtyness from heavy use. However, the showers here are WAY beyond that. Mold growing in the grout, sewer flies, and even a centipede on the wall prove that this is just negligence. These really need to be taken care of.

They stink. 24 Hour Fitness at the Arvada location is a joke. The Arvada location used be open 24 hrs a day. Then they changed it to a 5 AM start 7 days a week. Then they changed it to a 6 AM start on the weekends. Now they are going to an 8 AM start on the weekend. WTH? People are waiting at the door to get in at 6 AM on the weekends and they decide to push the starting time to 8 AM? Unsatisfactory. I'll be looking for a new gym.

I’ve really enjoyed the staff there - they’re all very helpful and friendly! I was going to the highland location previously until I discovered this location. SO much cleaner, has more amenities, and I’ve never seen it be too busy. They’re working on renovations to the pool area - the sauna and steam room are really nice for the cost! This gym is literally ALWAYS dirty!! I never see any employees walking around cleaning anything or putting things away. Idk how you can expect ppl working out here to put weights away if you don’t even enforce it. Putting up signs saying “put your weights away” isn’t going to actually making ppl put their weights away. Just random equipment all over the place. No designated spot for a lot of the equipment so it’s just in random areas. But my biggest issue is how dirty it is. Floors nasty, dust and dirt all over. Mirrors are ALWAYS dirty. OH and they want you to wipe your equipment but have no paper towels anywhere?! And sometimes the disinfectant bottles are empty. Idk the employees here really need to step up and spend more time on the actual gym floor and CLEAN. My hands feel sooo gross after working out here.

I've been going to 24 Hour Fitness. For over 10 years now. The swimming pool is still not open. It seems like it's been all summer, and no one has answers when you call or ask the staff at front desk. Very rude staff, they covertly change hours without updating them at the club or online. Custodians work out on the clock and try to play a front desk role by trying to deal with membership issues, turning the lights off 15 minutes until closing, and forcibly remove members before the actual closing time on the front door! Stay away if you don’t want to get verbally assaulted by the employees. I will be looking to join another gym.

The only reason they get 3 stars is because you get what you pay for. If I were paying more it would be 1 or 2 stars but they gave me a very competitive rate. This place is dirty, especially the locker rooms and showers. The men's showers often have visible mold, they only really scrub it once a month or so. The locker rooms badly need to be retiled and updated.

The equipment is mostly dated, but there are some newer things and there's enough to get a good workout in. Usually not crowded compared to Chuze or Vasa, even at peak times.

Do not shower here, all their drains are so clogged and backed up. Feels like you’re going to get a disease in this gym. The swim area is dark and looks like it’s never cleaned. I’d recommend Lakewood or Arvada west location this one is not well kept at all. Very run down and dirty.

I would give 5 stars if they went back to their old hours. Some of us need late night gyms. I had an issue with my membership, and the customer service was top notch. That can't be said about so many places anymore. I'm a member at Lifetime too, and I will keep both memberships. 24 Hr has more yoga classes.

You know, the only reason I joined 24 hour fitness instead of other, cheaper, gyms was because it was open 24 hours. My work schedule is hectic and sometimes I can't get a workout in before starting at 6:00 am and other days I need to get a workout in after getting off late like at 9:00 p.m. I get why it was closed early during the peak of the pandemic, but it's been 2 years with restricted hours, and we've to figure this thing out.

I feel like more hours open would be better for social distancing and kind of spread people out more if that's the goal.

This particular gym is missing certain key pieces of equipment like a glut ham raise, belt squat and hip thrust machine that are key for core strength, and I've seen at other 24 hour fitness gyms.

I'm quitting my membership and joining VASA, longer hours, cleaner gym and more equipment. And it's cheaper!

I got vaccinated as soon as was possible last spring. At no point was my critical thinking adversely affected.

Alas, I have not had trouble distinguishing between potentially helpful operational deviations and shameful deviations that have used this difficult period to extract additional profits, by taking advantage of people's goodwill and fear. Shot out to Walmart and King Soopers for being community leaders in the implementation of shameful change masquerading as pandemic-quelling evolution.

Kudos to 24-7 for summoning the courage to make the organizationally-specific change needed to fight the spread. We all know the threat posed by clean towels. Thanks to the discontinuance of towel service from the rare, few locations which formerly offered it we can all rest easier at night knowing this archaic, killer of a practice has been extinguished.

I’ve been coming to this particular 24hr fitness for several years now and this current group of staff members have been amazing.
They are very friendly and make you feel at home.
Before they arrived the club was pretty run down with multiple repairs needed on equipment throughout the club as well as some of the other amenities offered.
The basketball courts were always freezing with water leaking from the roof onto the floor.
There were always weights lying around everywhere and the gym was very dirty.
Now it seems like every time you walk in Billy and the rest of the staff are either cleaning, fixing some equipment or rearranging things to make sure there is optimum space and peace of mind for patrons.
It has been a very enjoyable transition for me and the people I bring in on my buddy passes.

I was at your club this evening and several people had their masks on UNDER their nose. One person who said he thought he could be mask free during cardio put his mask on after his cardio workout.
I asked the front desk woman to say something and she said she would, and never did.

This is why it was closed because we all need to learn how to be more RESPECTFUL and learn how to be more aware of others.

I work as a nurse and wear a mask and headgear ALL day, and while I work out. Your oxygen will be fine, your CO2 will be fine. You get or give COVID-19 your life may change forever.

To the staff, please reinforce putting masks on correctly, it’s not easy but be sure you are doing the right thing.

The regular employees are great. The equipment is fine. There is a guy cutting locks in the men's locker room and stealing stuff. My lock was cut once and nothing was stolen. The second time he got my wallet. Management never got back to me about it. The staff was thoughtful though.

The wet area is like a no rules wild lands. People use the dry sauna as a personal laundry rack, wear their sneakers, work out, dump water. The humidity is like 99% in there and the amell of dirty feet is almost unbearable. The staff does not seem concerned with enforcing the posted rules. Never see them come check and enforce them.

This is the closest 24 to me. Today was not a good day. Had plans for two classes neither of which occurred. The first teacher never called or anything, just no class. Decided to use treadmill till the next class. Went into the next class and waited for about 5 minutes and left. Saw the front desk help heading to the room but at that point I was not a happy camper. I then had to return after 11 to talk to the manager and was not impressed by the man behind the desk. If I ask to see a manager he should get the manager, not say “maybe” and then ask why I need to see one. I did see the manager and I sure hope he updated my account correctly. Time will tell. This is not my favorite 24 but it works due to location however, if teachers continue to not show I may have to head to Broomfield.

I love 24 Hour Fitness and visit one almost everyday. This particular one is, to put it nicely, not my favorite. It's only the second time I've been here and though it probably won't be the last I'll definitely be trying to avoid this location. Why? Well for starters the men's locker room is a wreck. It's old, poorly maintained and probably hasn't been deep cleaned in a long time. The sprinkler system is rusty and peeling off on the floor. The caulking in the showers is just as bad and though I didn't notice any mold there's a disgusting amount of soap scum build up on the tiles. I would have freaked out if I accidentally bumped into it. Halfway through my shower I noticed what looked like roaches floating in the water. Not quite roaches but almost as bad, they were pincher. Even still, bugs in the shower? That's not OK in my book (time to call pest control). I felt just about as dirty leaving the shower as when I walked in. I can't believe that the management here hasn't gotten a reliable janitorial team to handle their very frequented facility. We pay dues, they take care of the place, or at least that's how it's suppose to work. Not so much happening here. They've got a lot of good equipment packed into a tight space which is OK. I'd take variety in equipment over free space everytime. The staff was nice enough and there seems to be more than enough parking in a well lit lot at night. I think 24 Hour Fitness is better than what's represented here. Hopefully the Westminster location catches up soon. Out of the over 30 24 Hour Fitness locations I've been to this year across the country this is definitely in the running for the worst. I'm not gonna stick around long enough to really make that decision. Bloomfield is night and day better.

I was with the gym for 4 years. The gym has nice equipment, but the equipment is packed in a small area and your working out on top of each other. They need to make the workout area bigger. I cancelled my membership because they kept taking my monthly dues out when ever they wanted to and the would sometimes take a double payment out plus some of the employees there are not very friendly and the monthly membership fees are high for what you get. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. There are other gyms out there that are a lot better for less money.

While vacationing in Colorado, I visited this location. It was beach day, the staff were dressed in beach attire, Beach Boy music was playing...fun atmosphere. The staff here is very welcoming and friendly. The gym is clean, there was a lady cleaning and a gym doing repairs. I travel quite bit and I must say, even though this location is the smallest I've attended, I APPRECIATED THE STAFF, THE WARMTH THE WELCOME, AND ATMOSPHERE...GIVE THEM A RAISE!!!

There are bugs inside the lockers. When I explained this to the staff at the front desk, they had a woman follow me back to the locker room so I could show her where I saw the bugs. Unfortunately, another woman had already locked up her stuff inside the locker where I saw them. The staff didnt seem alarmed at all and simply said "we will check the lockers again later". Ladies you need to be cautious! I will NEVER return to this location again! Absolutely disgusting.

The management of this place is terrible. I used to go play basketball after work with my friends and co-workers but i found out yesterday that they are having volleyball MWF 4:30pm-7:30pm and TTh 6pm-7:30pm.
There is no time for me to play basketball during the week for me anymore and I already go out of my way from work to play at this location as it is the closest one. At least have one day off for the members who want to play basketball! When I talked to management they said just leave work earlier and you can play before or wait until after... They do not care about the people wanting to play basketball on the BASKETBALL COURTS but rather cater to the ones that want to play volleyball... Unreal professionalism and very upset that i can not play basketball at this gym anymore.

I am considering terminating my membership all together.

This location is the only one in the Denver metro area that has an indoor basketball court. I still need to go out of my way to reach it so I can play ball after work. Previously we (friends and coworkers) were only able to go on Tuesdays because they had volleyball every day besides Tuesdays. Then the "season" ended and we were able to ball alsmot every day. Now that the cold season is starting up again, we were just informed that everyday of the week the court will be in use for more volleyball. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 and MWF from 4-7:30.

Seriously f** the management in this place. If i didn't have a gym close to work I would cancel this membership instantly. I still might since im considering another chain thats close to my work.

I really enjoy this Gym. I have had a 24 hour fitness membership for over 10 years and this is one of the best clubs. The staff is friendly and the other regular customers are great too.

It's a small but good gym. First time I worked out I was able to use all the equipment needed and then I burnt my feet on the sauna floor so will be wearing shoes from now on. Thanks for the warning....

I pay more for daycare than I pay for my own membership and they never have enough workers. There’s normally a wait time for daycare because they’re always understaffed. This happens about 3 out of 5 visits a week. Have complained and no one does anything about it. Also the gym equipment isn’t new or “state of the art” and if you want to use the basketball court it’s always closed for other things as well. Hit or miss gym no consistency.

I have been going to this gym ever since the one off of 88th and Sheridan closed. Trey (a personal trainer at 24 hour fitness) has shown his knowledge and experience in the fitness industry to me. If you are looking for a good personal trainer I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Also John is a great salesperson who knows everyone by name. The workers are honest and professional which makes this gym great.

If you want to work out at a gym and not a spa, this is the place for you. It is not a "meat market" and yes, it is older, and some of the equipment has been in there since the day I walked in in 1999- but it is my home gym and I love this one. Yes, it may feel old, and unimpressive, if you are looking for lavish items to "make you want to work out" go some place else to get pampered. This is a gym and the majority of the people I see here, are here to work out. Not fret over how nice and colorful it looks inside... it is comfortable, and it is smaller than some of the other fancier locations, and I love that. If your goal is to work out, and not mingle and chat with others and flirt or pick up dates, than this is the gym for you. If you want luxury- go to a spa, and quit complaining about the "machines." Get off the machines and go use the weights- it is a gym.

Went in to cancel my membership BUT with the help of the fitness manager, Trey, and three other employees at the desk, Earl, Daisy & Stephen (Earl was the best with his customer service) they got me through the process. I'm freezing my membership and hope to be back when I can. Thanks to all four of these great employees. Small but clean gym with everything I need.

You will literally be crawling over people to get to the weight racks. The (two) benches are bolted to the floor about 18 inches from the weight racks, so if someone is lifting at a bench, good luck getting to the weights you need. They are also spaced so close that you can't lift next to someone with an average arm span without nearly hitting each other's weights. Locker room is tiny and cramped, no tables or place to get ready. Showers drain slow, are open, and have mildew on the walls and no towel hooks (or broken ones). Place need a major update.

I have been going to Lowry 24 hr fitness n moved and popped in to check it out and was amazed at cleanliness n friendly staff at Arvada sport. When I had previously signed up , there was no tour or help with training, I got a tour n am signed up for startup training at Arvada. The actual gym is smaller but spotless , bathrooms are clean, totally amazed. Thank you Trey n Cory for your help!

Went from planet fitness to this mess of a place. Gym is too small, it looks run down, the machines are everywhere. Why have 3 chest machines together and then have a lone chest machine on the other side of the building? Makes no sense, sure for spacing but it's such a pain. Also machines have little to no instructions for new comers.

The bathroom was unusable. Completely disgusting. I've seen cleaner Festival outhouses. Many of the machines are in disrepair, and everything is jammed together, no space. Go anywhere else.

This gym is super small but it is a great gym! I have been very happy here. PT Brandon, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions I had about my own goals. He was able to show me a great eating plan and workout plan that was focused around my goals alone. I highly recommend coming in and talking to Brandon!!

I based my decision to join 24 Hour Fitness entirely on them offering Body Pump, but it's been a great gym besides the classes. The staff is friendly and helpful. Worked with the trainer Brandon and saw huge improvements in my fitness. In fact, all of the trainers are happy to answer questions, even if you aren't their client. It's been really convenient that they sell fitness products like protein powder, and they usually have a sale going on. No plans on changing gyms!

This spacific location has a wonderful employee named Alisha. Recently had a misunderstanding with my membership cancelation. She had a great attitude, assured me she would speak with her manager, and called me back immediately. Everything was resolved and I'm satisfied with the customer service.

Overall ok facility but the staff does not care about its customers Steven the manager was very un-accommodating I bought a pair of headphones today I opened them right in front of the girl working the desk and they turned out to be wired. I thought they were wireless I have an iPhone 7 and cannot use wired headphones. Steven said that he could not return or exchange them even though I literally bought them seconds ago!!! He offered me 15 percent off another set are you kidding me?!?! After this I think I will be switching to chuze fitness I'm sure they will have better customer service maybe they will value their members over a pair of headphones

Great facility, with basketball, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, a large variety of weights and machines, and a couple class studios, including one where you can project a video of a class while no one is using it. 4 stars because it's a bit more expensive than other options.

Worst horrible customer service ever been to would never negotiate me to be sitting back there with a guy for an hour as one of my MMA fighters try to cut weight we gladly take our business elsewhere you know that's just horrible customer service you would even talk to me he just told me one to be disrespect won't be like don't know if you got to sign up you got to be a member so I wouldn't visit this place at all ever!! Been to the other 24 hour fitnesses and they're okay with me filling out a three-day pass but this guy was totally rude!!

Overall I like the atmosphere but the staff here is consistently rude. No one has said so much as hello to me or goodbye when arriving or leaving in over a year. Not even when I speak first. Most of the time they don't even look up from the desk. The machines aren't very well maintained or even at all for most of them except the cardio machines. The trainers are the most rude of all, they take stuff that they watch you using when you walk away for a drink of water. They dive their way in front of you without so much as a pardon us. The bathrooms are always disgusting as well. I've been to others that are much busier but are always better maintained.
