I had a membership here for a couple years. The classes used to be fun and the people who worked there use to be nice. They seem to go through staff quite often. The gym is always packed and there isn't a lot of parking . When I cancelled my membership the guy helping wasnt very nice.

So I just found out that this location is closing at the end of November 2018. I just went to the woman at the front desk and asked about membership canceling and what my options were. She basically said that I have to go to the other location in order to cancel. Right off the bat this is already inconvenient for me to even talk to anyone who can help me in anyway. Secondly she mentioned I have to give a one month notice for membership canceling. How is that fair when we only got notice of the closure around October 30th?

I will definitely be a customer of a different gym at the end of the month.

Been here a year or so. Good equipment and friendly enough staff. Only complaint is that it gets a little too crowded most days. Had to move chest day to later in the week since open benches can be scarce on Mondays (International chest day)

Smells generally awful. I only go because it's on my bike ride home. Ants in the men's restroom for months. Inattentive staff. Excess patrons from carryover from transition to 24 hour fitness from Bally's - old Bally's members received free membership, meaning twice as many patrons as a regular gym.

For what I do at the gym (Mostly free weights and some cardio) it has everything I need. This location has much more space than some others so you don't always feel crowded, and there's more than one of a lot of machines, so you don't have to hover around certain areas hoping that nobody grabs the one you wanted before you can get back to it. As an added bonus, I've only had a few people ever try to talk to me, which is great. I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to work out!

I Like this 24 Hour Fitness is great, it's not too crowd like the other ones on Lowry and Colorado blv/Alameda. This gym's staff is awesome, they greet to their members(in/out) and it's clean and well organized gym to get your work out done.

Why did i walk in yesterday to find out that kids club is closing? Thanks for taking away kids club. I relied on this service every monday, wed and saturday. Thanks for taking away the one thing i look forward to. I come to this club verses all the other clubs because I love the facility and i love the instructors who teach the bodycombat and bodypump. You have forever lost my respect and business. What do you expect all your regular clients to do? Go to Alameda?! 24 Hr is a joke. They have decent equipment and I'd like to join, but every time I tried to sign up, they told me about a special and then wanted more money initially than the monthly fee. First it was $99 set up fee. Then it was a $50 set up fee. Lastly it was first and last months set up fee.
Save your money. Go elsewhere and leave this place alone.

Horrible. Just stepped off plane looking for gym/sauna. Since there are no LA Fitness's around, I had to resort to this place. Made to feel like garbage for presenting my 3 day pass that was emailed to me.

If I could give zero stars I would! I've been to many gyms, currently a member at Lifetime and thank goodness! I wanted to enroll in a gym near my work and go during lunch. Well I went in with a guess pass one day to try it out and this sales guy wouldn't let me work out! He wanted to give me a tour and go over pricing for an hour. I politely told him I wanted to try them out before we talked about pricing and he refused! I never ever been to a gym where someone was so pushy and wouldn't allow me to try it out before I committed!? I had a 3 day guess pass !!!! He told me I had to pay $20 to try a day!! I will be calling the supervisor as well as cooperate this is unbelievable!

I have read numerous reviews from customers complaining about the harassment tactics utilized by 24 Hour Fitness when a member decides to cancel their membership. It wasn't until I experienced this for myself that I realized that these reviews were not exaggerated. My experience began with a new debit card. I maintained a basic membership with 24 Hour at the rate of $11.99/month, but failed to update my payment information for an automatic withdrawal. Within three days of the new month, the 24 Hour financial services department began calling me twice per day, weekends and holidays included. As I prefer to not answer unsolicited 800 numbers that I do not recognize, I did not answer their calls and they did not have the sense to leave a voice message. Finally, I entered the telephone number into my web browser and a number of harassment complaints associated with the number resulted from my search. When I realized what had happened, I called customer service promptly to pay the account balance and cancel my membership with 24 Hour Fitness. Not even 5 hours later, I received yet another call from 24 Hour account services regarding my account status. It was not my intention to cheat with my membership, nor was I attempting to skip out on my payment. However, the lack of communication (i.e. no voice messages to accompany the unanswered calls), the frequency of the calls (2 per day) and the lack of respect (calling on a holiday) over $11.99 in default by a couple of days seems entirely excessive. Pass on 24 Hour Fitness.
