My three kids love it here. Coaches are awesome, and Miranda is an absolute powerhouse with scheduling and customer care.

Great place for kids gymnastics!! We’ve brought our son here since he was 3, and he loved the preschool class and now loves the mini ninja class! The junior boys class was good, too, just not my kiddo’s cup of tea. Miranda at the front desk has been amazing! She’s SO helpful in getting classes scheduled and rescheduled. The teachers and owner are very sweet and great with the kids. Highly recommend 5280 for kids gymnastics!

My older kiddo started in the preschool class and just moved up to the next level. She loves it at 5280. Everyone is so welcoming and kind! They have a great set up if you have another kiddo hanging out while one is in class. Just signed up our youngest to start too!
Update March 2025: The new layout sucks. It’s impossible to actually watch the preschool classes. The addition of an ice cream freezer is a giant pain as a parent. If the kids weren’t into it I would be gone.

I wanted to reach out regarding our experience at 5280 during my son’s ninja class session on Tuesday the 29th. Unfortunately, it was far from what I expected in terms of organization and, more importantly, safety. And since no one reached out except to see if we were returning to join their program with an automated email, I thought I should share here.
When we arrived, there was no one to greet us, show us where to go, or provide any direction. After waiting with no guidance, I eventually had to walk into the gymnastics area just to find someone who could tell us where to be. Instead of assistance, I was met with confused looks, as if I had no business being there. I wasn’t the only one lost—another mother and her two daughters were also completely unsure of where to go.
When I was finally directed to the appropriate area for the ninja class, I walked my son over and was told that the two instructors would bring him back to me at the end. They told me to go check in with the front desk person, who I had not seen when coming in. When I did go to the front desk a young woman was on her phone and had no idea why I was talking to her. She said just sign in you don't have to tell me. Ok well I was told to come talk to you, was my response. It's starting to be clear at this point that if you don't know what's going on, for example if you are new, you have to figure It out by yourself.
So, at 55 past the hour, my four-year-old walked out alone while I sat in the waiting area. I had been watching the designated screen, which was supposed to allow us to view our children during class, but I only saw my son once before the feed was just a picture of gym equipment. You could not see any ninjas in the screen so I have no idea what if anything they were doing.
I waited for about five minutes, expecting one of the instructors to come out and at least confirm class had ended, but no one ever did. We left, and about 15 minutes into our drive home to Englewood, I received a call from the studio asking if I had my son—meaning no one even realized he had left.
At the most basic level, a facility working with young children needs to prioritize their safety. This experience showed a lack of organization, communication, and awareness that I simply cannot overlook. Because of this, we will not be returning.
I hope you take this feedback seriously, as these issues could have serious consequences if not addressed.

Such a great place! My son loves the preschool class. He has learned and progressed so much over the last few months already. His teachers Kyla & Lexi have been so patient and give helpful direction in class. I highly recommend 5280 Littleton location.

Our kids have been a part of 5280 for 2 years. They always meet the kids where they are - both skill and maturity- but they also care about the child. I love knowing the staff care about my kid as a person too!

Coaches are amazing! The staff really makes everyone feel included and not just another kid. They give every child the opportunity to grow. Teaching great life skills too! My son's focus and listening skills have improved so much since he started classes here. His self confidence is through the roof and he's only 4!!! So extremely happy that we joined 5280!

Expensive but you get what you pay for. My daughter has been with Coach Hannah for about a year. She is very fond of her coach, is progressing a lot, and is having a ton of fun along the way!

We started at 5280 gym in 2021 when it was under different management and had a good experience. We left for a year and came back and there is a new manager who just always wants to be right. They never answer their phone and instead of just calling you back, they will simply email back and forth. When I complained about this, I was given attitude and of course with no accountability or apology on their end. Carly, the manager has been very rude and disrespectful. So much so that reading her emails has made me gasp in horror with how someone can be in a management position and respond to customers the way she does. I guess she likes to be right more than she likes to run the business appropriately. Also, summer camp here is a joke. $90+ a day so that my kids can tell me they sat around and watched movies, no thanks. Plenty of other gymnastics businesses where we can go. Carly needs to take a management and customer service basics class.

Do not waste your time or money here. The coaches never seem happy and their gym is like a revolving door for employees. My daughter was enrolled in Beginner Girls for about a year and had MULTIPLE coaches who were only invested in a paycheck and never introduced themselves to me. When we had a question and emailed the gym, we received no response. Once I sent a follow-up email suggesting responsibility on them, Carly Helton replied insisting I should know all of their policies because it was in the handbook I received A YEAR PRIOR. If a customer has a question, the "boss" should respond with no problem. She was very condescending in her emails and claimed she called me twice when she did not. I finally asked her to delete our account with their gym but that email got IGNORED as well with her only sending me class make-up times. I then sent ANOTHER email canceling our account and received an instantaneous snobby email but was NOT notified I would be charged an extra MONTH!!! When I talked to Carly Helton on the phone, she said that the information was IN THE HANDBOOK!!! Like I do not deserve a straightforward answer because I did not memorize the handbook?! This gym is full of rude snobby employees who never smile at the parents and do not care about the kids, only money. There are hidden fees everywhere.
P.S.- My toddler did a trial class when my older daughter started and I was unpleasantly surprised at how they interacted with younger children and did not enroll her in the gym at the time. I just wish I would have taken my oldest out then too.
I would not recommend this gym to anyone!!

The 5280 south gym is very inconsistent. Some coaches are great hands on and telling the students how to improve and some have no clue what they are doing no hands on training, yet the customer pays the same price. If you want to talk with a manager to change anything, they do not respond to emails or phone calls, it’s incredibly frustrating. The south location is just a money maker and it seems like the 5280 North is the gym that has serious programs and good coaches. Don’t waste your money here at the south location- go somewhere that offers quality instruction and basic customer service.

My daughter was so upset this morning because the open house got cancelled last minute. She’s been looking forward to this for weeks. I called, a little frustrated, but still trying to get her enrolled. The woman on the phone was argumentative, rude and short. No apology for the last minute cancellation at all. Trying to correct me and pointing out that she’s trying to be helpful and professional. You can’t cancel last minute on people and expect them not to be upset. Either way we will happily go somewhere else. This place is messy.

My daughter started when she was 4 in the preschool class and attended through the pandemic. They made every effort to keep the kids safe while maintaining healthy physical activity. We love the coaches and the discipline she has learned has been a great life lesson. We hope to be at 5280 for many years

The South gym has equipment and coaching issues which was brought to the owner's attention. Instead of replacing the equipment and fixing the issues, she decided to just end the team boys/girls program. The floor had many dead spots and the floor to ceiling windows are not tempered glass. The windows let in bright sunlight which has caused issues with tumbling on floor and vault. There are no coverings over them and floor is right next to the windows. Many of the kids have been at the gym for 6+ years so it's been devastating to them. The kids were offered a 1.5 hour try-out at North gym only to be told to join their Xcel program (which is a disgrace for girls who have always trained DP and are optionals). They only accepted 3 girls for their DP team of whom 2 of them were employee's girls. They already knew who they were taking before the try-outs and just had try-outs to say that they offered them. Beth doesn't care about the gym as she has another business (this one was her husband's dream, not hers). You will only see her in the gym when 5280 holds a meet.

We went to the open gym and had a 4 year oldo birthday party here. Paula and her daughters were fantastic and went above and beyond. Everyone had a great time with the mini gymnastics course and the foam pit. We want to join at some point for refuulr gymnastics! Highly recommend! Paula was so great to work with!

Horrible experience. The coach had no patience and never showed the correct form for anything she was asking the kids to do. (Such as a summersaut) this was a beginner class... the gym is not very nice as a whole. I read many many reviews on this gym and they were all horrible. But we still gave them a chance... glad it was just a trial class and we didn’t lose any money. Please don’t waste your time.

My daughter went to about four months of classes and had three different teachers. Most "teaching" time was spent chasing the kids who weren't listening instead of actually instructing those who were listening. I spoke with the instructors a couple of times about this and they just smiled and nodded, and nothing changed. The entire time we were there, we never actually checked in and no one really acknowledged if we were there or not. Since the instructor was different often, no one really know what was going on. Then, six months after we cancelled, we got a bill saying our account was overdue. Poor billing practices, poor business practices. They may have good coaches for competitive teams, but your kid certainly won't be able to find out if they are interested in gymnastics here.

My daughter went to a trial class here and the young female instructor was more interested in flirting with a male instructor than making my daughter feel welcome. My daughter left early in tears and no one followed up with us, but I was mistakenly sent a bill a week later as if we had signed up. Terrible experience and zero follow-up with trial class guests. Completely unimpressed. Extremely unprofessional experience.
