We have had the best experience at Active! The mini ninja class has been terrific - my child loves to go and he’s learned so many things about jumping/climbing.

Horrible experience. Horrible parking situation. Usually 10-15 mins late to get to class because of lack of parking. One of the gymnastics coaches not necessarily caring about students safety during practices and we changed class because of that. Canceled the class during holidays / winter break when there were no classes at all and still got charged for the upcoming session. Refund stays in the account to use if you ever come back but no actual refund issued.

After 6 months of the toddler gymnastics program, I wanted to give a heartfelt thank you to Coach Rickkii for her hard work and dedication to kids that are just learning to listen and follow directions. I wasn't certain what my then 2.5yr old would get out of this class but after two weeks with Coach Rickkii i knew that it was the perfect fit to learn gymnastics fundamentals and still have fun. She does a wonderful job keeping the kids on task throughout the circuits and creates a consistent (although evolving) environment each week. This repetition and familiarization is crucial for toddler confidence and memory, and I'm amazed weekly at what my now 3yr old can do on her own. I highly recommend the toddler classes or any that Coach Rickkii is involved in.

Great coaching, we love coach Logan, Abby, and Hannah! Problem is it was super inconsistent, almost 4 out of the 6 sessions were different coaches, then when session was over the coach would change days without notifying you. Toddlers need consistency/ management also not great, kept getting times wrong and we would show up on make up day and it was wrong coach. Sad we had to leave but at least there are many more gyms around the area

Terrible customer service/registration process. I sent a registration form for summer camp in March and never heard back. With so many online platforms to manage registrations, why make me fill out paper forms to register? Especially if you're not going to follow up by phone or email?

Went here for my son’s classmates 3 year old birthday party. It was fantastic, the host from active Athletes, Ashley, knew every one of the children’s names within 15 minutes and the kids ran around and played and jumped and trampolined.

There were a few organized activities, interspersed with free play, and it’s hard to imagine a bunch of 3 year olds having more fun.

Highly recommend!

Coaches and facility have always been great for the ~3 years we’ve been going—no complaints there. But recently, the gym has adopted a sales practice of auto-enrolling inactive students when new sessions begin and charging the card on file without authorization. This happened three times since the summer (we took a hiatus for a handful of months and used a withdrawal form). A voicemail is then left to let us know one of our students has missed his/her first class, which is always a surprise that requires budget adjustments. I gather this is the way they now confirm a forced sale? At no other time have they called to inquire about an absence or proactively offer makeup options.

Great folks, opened their gymnastics facility so she could practice one more time before the regional championships meet. Even during a wildfire evacuation great things happen

5 Stars for the coaches, 0 Stars for management.

Can't say enough glowing things about coach Michael and Coach Kayla. Understanding, great with kids ect.

Management ruined this gym for us and I would never recommend this gym because of it.

My daughter gets faint when wearing a mask and requires a medical exemption. She had been invited onto the competition team around the mask mandate time for kids over 10. She was 5 or 6, but they were having their athletes mask during warm ups of all ages.

Before we committed to the team, I verified with Kayla that her mask exemption would be accepted and wouldn't be a problem. She assured me it wouldn't be a problem.

Only a few weeks later I get a call from a manager I had never met. I think her name was Lisa. She had pulled my daughter out of class and was pressuring her to wear a mask in front of her teammates without me being there.

I explained her exemption but she wouldn't have it and told me I was given wrong information. When I told her my daughter gets faint when masking she said, and I quote, " I would rather have a child faint in class then have one die of Covid."

So, no problem risking my daughter's health and safety by fainting while doing gymnastics, because if she doesn't mask up a child will die because of her?

At the end of the call she said my daughter would be allowed to participate if she wore a mask under her nose for warm up, and under her chin for workout. So to sum up:

No mask: daughter is a murderer
Mask not over nose or mouth, strapped on chin: daughter is safe to others.

This conversation also included her gaslighting me and telling me it didn't make sense that my daughter would get faint in a mask and stating untruths that they would get shut down by the health department because of my daughter not wearing one. Not only did the health order at the time allow medical exemptions, it also only applied to 10 and above.

After the way she treated me and my daughter we weren't comfortable attending. Particularly because it seemed to be over political theater instead of any safety procedures that make even a little logical sense.

My friend has also had difficulties with that manager in being misleading about her daughter's advancement, and holding her daughter back even when performing better than her peers that were moved up instead.

Two kids here for a couple years. We LOVE it! Great gym, great coaches, can come just for fun and progress to competition level if you like. I like that it's truly gymnastics focused, and not a pre-cheer or tumbling gym.

Very difficult to get a hold of anyone I’ve the phone all they want is for ppl to leave voice mails. Forget about finding an email for communication. This facility don’t even abide by their own rules. If you wish to withdraw your child you “must” fill a form ahead of time so you aren’t charged. I did so on the same they of the new session cause I knew we weren’t returning for next session. Sessions ends and we are still being charged when the “withdrawal form” was filled and immediately turned in at the time of signing up. This place only has one thing in mind, “money”. Customer service is horrible!

Active Athletics has been a great gym. Their coaches are fun and coach so much better than the last gym I've been in. I have mastered so many skills thanks to my awesome coach. Open gym is a great opportunity to practice skills and have some free time. Active athletics rocks!

This past August, and for the second time in four years, the boy's team was disbanded. This left 12 young, very talented and dedicated boys without a coach. The owner and gym manager had no regard for how this affected the boys or their families. The owner said he gave the boys plenty of time to find a new gym, but never took into account how his actions affected their well-being. The toll this took on the boys is unforgivable, and words cannot express how disappointed these 12 boys and their families are in this organization. For a company that touts being more than a gym and wanting to build community, student, gymnast and coach relationships, their actions and attitude show this statement couldn't be more untrue.

My daughter has been going to Active for 7 years. She has grown up in the gym and has had many of the coaches from recreational to competitive team. All of whom have guided her not only in gymnastics but in important life lessons. We both feel Active is like family to us . She is having a successful gymnastics career. I couldn't imagine her finishing her career anywhere else! Highly recommend Active Athletics!

Great first real gymnastics experience for our three year old. Her coach, Thalia, is great with kids and her warm, comforting approach gets our child to advance through new gymnastics skills all the time. They are very flexible with scheduling make up classes within a session.

Had a meet there today. One child at 10:55am and the other at 6:55pm. Was told at the earlier session that we would not have to pay twice. Then we get there at 6:55 and they made us pay again. Even if we would have wanted to stay the 6 hours at the gym they would not have lets us because they have a clear the gym rule. What a racket....would rate it zero stars if I could.

Very poor management and ownership here. They required a locked in contract that is very convoluted in its terms and conditions. They will NOT refund any aspects of recurring charges will hold your money making you fight to get it back (read below like reviews)

Requested the owner Trevor to call and discuss and will only email vs a discussion. There are a lot better more customer service like businesses around town to choose from.

In addition as the owner is an aai rep for colorado I’d expect more up to date equipment and facility improvements.

I'm torn on the rating at this gym. I give them 4 start for the coach/student interaction, but only 1 star for their scheduling availability. They advertise for classes and programs that are not really available. For instance, advanced girls class is only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 7 but their schedule offers many more. (Not due to being filled, but because they're are no kids in the class, thus not available. - So why is it on the schedule? Isn't that how you fill in the slotted time?) Lastly, they claim that they offer parents night out, but they do not return calls for you to sign up. (Called 3 days before). I recommend only working with them in person if your going to get an answer or a reply.

I tryed out here for the girls competitive team the coaches were nice, but they do not work the skills thoroughly, instead they "throw" the skills they do, the head coach is very strict, although she is nice outside of coaching. Over all I think it is okay, and if absolutely necessary I would go here but otherwise I wouldn't, there is many other better gym's out here in Colorado that are much nicer.
