We have been with Aerials gymnastics since moving here three years ago and the experience our daughter has had has been incredible! She has been involved with the Xcel program. The coaching has been absolutely wonderful! Our daughter appreciates that there is structure and focus that keeps her motivated and progressing in her sport, but there is also a balance of fun and fostering a love for the sport. She has also appreciated that she gets good feedback from her coach on how to continue to improve. We unfortunately are moving out of state, and it is going to be a tough transition because the coaches, gym, and friends my daughter has connected with has been invaluable!

Great starter gymnastics for my 4yo. She seems to love it. Wish they had a bigger watching area. It’s pretty small (and hot)

Colorado Aerials is by far the best gym in Colorado. My daughter and I have been on the gymnastics journey and studied it at this point and Colorado Aerials is the real deal in Colorado. What is most outstanding about them is that they put athletes and their families first they really care about the families and this is rare. They helped my daughter improve her skills dramatically with meticulous attention and in a caring manner.
We highly recommend Colorado Aerials for anyone looking for real team level gymnastics, hoping to get excellent training while being cared for and supported.

We love the Aerials camps and have been participating in them for years. This summer my daughter (11 years old) participated in both the skills and day camps at Aerials. She had a great time at both. She was able to improve her gymnastics skills and enjoyed the games and activities! She loves all of the coaches she has had and they make an inviting and fun atmosphere for all. We will continue signing up for the camps when they are offered!
She is also on a team and loves that experience too!

Aerials has been great for our kids (boy 7 and girl 4). They have had an opportunity to develop hand/eye coordination, core strength and skills building in difficulty. It’s great to see them develop these capabilities and as they become more skilled they get moved to something more difficult which pushes them that much more.
The coaches and their organization are top notch. You’ll see dozens of children during certain evenings and the drills and transfers between stations happen incredibly smoothly. The coaching really drills the kids and I’m very impressed with their dedication.
Also recently have done a week long summer camp on top of his normal classes and he was able to have some fun while also working on some of his skills. Also the girl did her birthday party there and was a great chance for them to run around and do some rolls in the big kid gym.
Overall very happy with Aerials and enjoy seeing the results of the kids hard work.

My daughter had her 7th birthday party here and we all had so much fun! This was our first time hosting a birthday party and I’m glad we did it at aerials. My daughter and her friends were well supervised by staff and were allowed to play in the entire gym! The staff was also extremely helpful and set up every decoration we brought! ❤️We’d definitely have another party here.

Our oldest daughter (5 years old - will be 6 years old in May) has been going to Aerials Gymnastics since August of 2024. She absolutely LOVES going and asks everyday if it's gymnastics day! We had Coach Karli as her first coach when she was in the preschool class. She always had some much fun and Karli had so many positive things to say about her.
Coach Jen took over the class and we loved how technically she was with our oldest. She was making sure the technic was correct in addition to posture while still having fun.
Our oldest outgrew the class and moved up to Coach Jen's advanced Preschool class. We're so impressed with how strong our daughter has gotten in addition to how much fun she has every single week.
I have felt that all the coaches try their best to grow the kids who want to become better. We always want our kids to be challenged and we find that the coaches have done such an amazing job providing that.
Our second daughter has start the preschool class at the beginning of the year. She's started to come out of her shell and adores Coach Avaiyah (I hope I spelled her name correctly). Our second daughter is 3 years old (about to turn 4). Coach Avaiyah knows how to make it fun and comprehendible for this age group. Our second daughter has gotten so much stronger in addition to has so much fun in her preschool class.
I highly recommend checking out Aerials Gymnastics. I've talked to other moms who's children attend classes here who have said the same thing.

I love aerials so much! Beautiful and large gym for all levels and ages. They have levels 1 to 10, and they have Xcel levels Bronze to Sapphire. Level 3 is the first level of team at aerials gymnastics. Again, lovely gym with amazing coaches! Also shoutout to coach Zac.

We didn’t have the best experience at Aerials. Here’s our situation and some of the things I noticed.
My son was in parkour with Coach Owen. He was really having an issue with other kids blocking him from getting onto the obstacles so he couldn't actually do parkour. They were also pushing him when he was on higher up obstacles. I was concerned about that as a safety issue, because even though there are mats on the ground, there are other obstacles he could fall on. He was getting really upset and frustrated because he couldn’t do the courses and he was trying to give the kids space. He wound up getting in trouble for running off, but honestly, what was he supposed to do? Unfortunately, my son never tells on anyone, so when he retaliated and started shoving the kids back, they told on him and Coach Owen thought he was the only one misbehaving. When Coach Owen talked to me, I told him what I was seeing and he seemed to agree. We had a few good weeks, but then the same two kids started blocking him again and my kid was the only one who got in trouble when he shoved back. We were told that was his last warning before he’d be kicked out. From what I saw and heard, my kid was mostly retaliating and not being the first to instigate most of the time. I feel like Coach Owen really only addressed my son’s behavior and not the other kids. He even told me he was unable to talk to the other kids parents because he never sees them at pickup. Honestly, if that’s the only form of communication that’s insufficient. Especially when an 8 year old is scapegoated for all the problems in the class because he addressed them when the adult in the room refused to. My son also told me the coach lied about part of what happened and I believe him because from what I could see it looked true, he admitted to the other stuff that he did, and he was very insistent that what was said was a lie. If the coaches are exaggerating a kid’s behavior to parents, that’s really upsetting because I took Coach Owen’s side in the moment and chastised my kid when it sounds like the coach is the one who needs a talking to. I don’t appreciate that at all.
My issues with this are, it seems like there are too many kids in that class for one coach to be able to deal with their behaviors and safety at the same time. It looked like the potential for injury was pretty high and it’s especially high when the coach won’t address unsafe and bullying behaviors. The communication with parents is lacking. I think our coach could really use some professional development. We also had an issue with the front desk-my husband lost his credit card and had to cancel it, so we missed one payment and when we went in the very next day to give the new card, they told us we were lucky because they usually would’ve already given our spot away.
Overall, it just wasn’t a great experience for me as the parent. I will say, aside from the kids, my son did like it. And the owner walked in when my husband was disenrolling us. It sounds like they were receptive and trying to make something work out like transferring him to a different class. I appreciate that at least, that’s why I’m not docking a lot of stars.

It’s an honor to write this review for a gym that has been a home away from home for my daughter. Everyone from the owners, to the coaches, to the front desk lady, Jeri, has shown the utmost kindness towards my daughter and our whole family. The team coaches welcomed my daughter as an 8 yr old coming from a different state. While her strength and skills were not quite up to Aerials standards, they nurtured her growth and transformed her into an incredibly artistic and powerful gymnast. A few years/levels down the road when she had setbacks from injuries, they were patient, encouraging and understanding. They helped her gain her strength and skills back in a timeline that was best for her. I can’t speak highly enough of Kathy, Jason, Zac, Britney and Heather. While they are experts as gymnastics coaches, what I love most is they nurture my daughter as a whole person rather than just seeing her as a gymnast. We are forever grateful for our experience at Colorado Aerials!

I have been at Colorado Aerials for a little over two years now, and it has been my home away from home. The coaches at Colorado Aerials have always provided me with love and support. Every moment I get to spend at Aerials, the coaches have always found the best in me. While being at Aerials I have improved in so many ways, that I never thought was possible for me, thanks to my coaches and other staff members. I have formed life long friendships and memories with my coaches, teammates, and other staff members. I highly encourage this place to anyone who is looking for a great atmosphere, full of amazing talent and fun.

We tried a few gyms before finding the perfect fit at Aerials! My daughter Arlyn absolutely adores her coaches Heather (her first coach) + Christy (her current coach) and has made so much progress in the two years that she’s been training here! I love how they prioritize conditioning and encourage the girls! It’s always an amazing day when someone gets a WOW card 🤍

Our family just moved from the panhandle of Florida to Colorado Springs. We were referred to this gym by the coaches and owner of our daughter's previous gym. We had high expectations coming out here and Aerials Gymnastics did not disappoint. Our daughter has made so much improvement in her skills in just a few weeks since arriving. We are looking forward to seeing what competition season brings. So far great gym and great coaches. I'd also say the award wall speaks for itself.
Update: The booster club is fantastic. The amount of involvement of the parents is amazing. It shows support for the girls as a whole. They host a local meet every year at the Broadmoor and it is a whole event for the girls to include entertainment and fun afterward.

We've been going here for gymnastics and parkour since July 2022. Parkour is just free play, very little instruction is going on and some kids are mean and bullying goes unnoticed unless you the parent speak up.
Gymnastics is definitely more structured, but my daughter has had 4 coaches since we began. Classes have been canceled due to either holidays or their own events, and there is no reimbursement. They offer "open gym" which is not instructor led, nor what I'm paying for and it even gets canceled sometimes. If you miss a class because of any reason there is no make up option.
There are no beginner classes for boys, so if you aren't already doing flips and comfortable on bars, go somewhere else, you won't even get into a class. We pay almost 300/mo, come twice a week, and my daughter still struggles to do a cartwheel and my son has only learned 2 skills - 3ft jump and 4ft jump. Definitely not worth the cost.

Our kids have been going here for 3 years now. Their coaches have been so professional! Our daughter went from being uncoordinated (sorry, it’s true) to doing cart wheels, all kinds of bends, and having great balance. It’s given her a huge increase in self esteem that other sports just haven’t. I’m saying this as she’s literally climbing the rope to the top of the main floor :-)
Our son does parkour and has a blast.
The coaches do a wonderful job bonding and encouraging the kids. Eevie specifically has been great.
Thank you!

I have had my daughter at aerials since she was three. She loved it until she became a silver gymnast. When she got her coach she started to hate gymnastics but pushed through because of her friends. This happened from early November to now (august 2021). The thing that made her hate this coach was when she got political with the team. This coach also gave my daughter a panic attack in practice when she was going through a really hard time in her life. She would not leave my daughter alone about doing this skill she just kept telling her, you need to do it, just do it, your not doing it right. This terrified her and caused her to have a panic attack. And a coach should never give a child ant sort of mental or physical pain. Now she has never hated gymnastics more because this coach would not mover her up even with all the necessary skills. Instead the coach said she was not consistent enough while there were other girls who did not have all the skills needed to move up who got moved up. This was heartbreaking for my daughter because she had worked really hard all summer to move up. This all happened because a coach did not like her. So moral of the story is at this gym it really depends on the coach you have. After 10 years of being at this gym we have had many amazing coaches. But just this one has ruined my daughters love for gymnastics.

I grew up in PA and am a former level 9/10 gymnast who went on to coach in various locations across the country after graduating. When it came time to select a gym for my own daughter in a brand new state years later, I was looking for a very specific type of program due to my personal experience in the sport and having coached at multiple gyms (which gave me a true understanding of the philosophy and business aspect of gyms). Aerials had everything I was looking for - a caring and knowledgeable team of coaches who were capable of instilling a love of the sport while developing a well-rounded athlete not just physically but also emotionally and mentally. My daughter started in the rec program and went on to compete for Aerials during our time in Colorado. Now that we have relocated out of state for my husband’s job and to a new gym, I can easily say that she is a superior gymnast because of her time at Aerials. From the coaches to the supportive group of parents to the front desk staff, every aspect of this gym is top notch. Whether you’re looking for your child to learn basic coordination and skills while having fun burning off some energy or to become a competitive gymnast, you won’t find a better place than Aerials.

And writing a big concerning letter to an owner of this facility.

We enrolled my daughter here months ago. The experience has been great in terms of coaching. My updated rating is reflective of the customer service.
We pay our monthly registration by auto payment. My wife lost her card and ordered a new one, therefore the transaction failed. An email was sent the day the transaction failed. My wife missed the email ( working mom of 3 with a newborn). Within 6 days after no phone call or notification that they would be doing so, they not only dropped my daughter from her class, but also replaced her spot. 😳 Who does that? My wife showed up with my daughter and the front desk worker notified her that today would be my daughter’s last day.
This communicates that children are nothing more than a debit card transaction OR that there was someone more important that they wanted to be in my daughter’s class than my daughter who is a minority. I’m hoping they will respond and do the right thing and/or update their communications process to notify parents and customers that your child will literally be kicked out of the gym in a short window between classes if something goes wrong with their payment.
**UPDATE: spoke with Jeri —front desk manager and she informed me that there is option for different day for my daughter to continue enrollment. Their month to month policy is weird, but that’s their rule. If you miss a payment for whatever reason, your child is removed from the class within two days! 😳

I’ve been at Colorado Aerials Gymnastics for almost eight years and I’ve had an amazing experience. The coaches support and encourage me to help reach my goals and aspirations. Coaches Kathy and Jason, and the owner, Tom Forster have helped me to earn a full-ride gymnastics scholarship to the University of Denver. Along with a great athletic experience, I’ve also formed strong relationships with the girls and staff. I’m happy with this gym and would recommend it to future kids looking to have fun a enjoy their gymnastics experience.

I grew up as a gymnast at Colorado Aerials for years. It was by FAR the best competitive gymnastics experience I could have asked for. I made lifelong friends and my coaches always pushed me to my best. Recent curriculum, staff, and program changes at Aerials make for an even better experience— there’s no surprise they are highly regarded as one of the best gyms in the state. Even now as a coach at Aerials I feel I have opportunities to grow and I love having a bond with every gymnast I have the privilege of coaching. It’s great to see a gym that can balance fun and safety with a stellar curriculum and coaches who are encouraged to learn new things and ask questions whenever they need to. This gym is a great after-school activity for not only parents who want to see their child learn correct technique in a fun, controlled environment, but also for kids who are eager to learn and are looking to get some energy out!

As others have shared, if your child is not naturally gifted or already trained, dont even bother. The coaches her are rude and unprofessional. I kept letting my daughter attend because she liked it but she only improved on a few areas do to the lack of hands on teaching, there was little to no direction from coaches. Coach Heather was the worst and the reason we left, I would have had words with her but she went on leave and was temporarily replaced, but she needs to find a new job, she seems miserable. They give out these good job cards after class, well I should say they give these to the kids that already have the skills everytime no one else, you should be careful with that before you get a lawsuit. Stay away!

Uninterested coaches, especially at the younger levels. Not hands on. Barely pay attention to the kids 6 and under. Don’t offer instruction or help kids that are struggling. Not enough emphasis on proper form and protecting the neck. Seem to only focus on favorite naturally talented kids. But even then enthusiasm for teaching and the students is not existent. We have been coming for 5 months and neither of my kids actually have fun. Possibly an instructed specific issue. I keep hoping the instructor will improve but it’s like she is bored out of her mind and she spends more time talking to other coaches than paying attention to the kids in her class. It’s shocking.

I have my son doing Parkor and he absolutely loves everything about it. Parkor is a place where they really let the kids have a lot of freedom to push their bodies in their own way. He really enjoys his teacher too.
The reason I’m giving it a 4 Star is because I have my 4 year old doing gymnastics. And her teacher has made my daughter have a little bit of anxiety. I will be ending her session.

Another place i am going to boycott. My poor daughter was invited to a birthday party and she had bad anxiety. I was not allowed to be in the area with her and she spent the time crying. There was one coach that felt bad and said i can be in there with her but the main boss said i was not allowed. My daughter is four and i found it ridiculous that they didn't make an exemption to their frumpy rule.

TLDR: The coaches are ever caring and exceptionaL, however, the owners and the front desk are rude and kind of elitist, it's a dirty gym.
Jeri made my life as a student and a coach incredibly frustrating. If you are thinking about working here, don't. As one of the coaches, Jeri was incredibly restrictive and overbearing to us, to a level where she shouldn't have been. Watching us constantly on the cameras, even after hours, and restricting our hours to less than 5hours per week made this job horrible. Even not being willing to get a working vacuum so it would be possible to clean the gym from all the dust should be a normal thing for any boss, but not Jeri. Things only change when a parent complains.
Don't work here, the coaches are good, but in the next few months to a year I'm expecting the gym to close because of how neglected the equipment, cleanliness, and coaches are by the head owners. Im not the only one who feels this way. Ask any of the other coaches, and they will give you the same answer, regardless of whether they coach parkour or gymnastics.

I was a competitive gymnast at Aerials in the 90's but more recently, my kids have taken classes in their preschool program. The staff is very friendly and professional and they really care about the kids. I'd say my daughter is one of the more timid kids in her class but her teachers have always been so willing to help her work through her fears. Having a background in gymnastics myself as well as some coaching experience, it is nice to see correct basics and progressions being taught. My niece was also enrolled in the program a couple years ago and had a great experience as well. It is amazing that some of the upper level coaches that were there when I was a child are still coaching 20+ years later! It is no wonder they are nationally recognized and regarded as one of the best gyms in the state! Overall, I'm just glad my kids are having fun and I'd highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for recreational through competitive gymnastics.

We had our daughter's birthday party here and it was amazing! The kids had a wonderful time! The facilities were great, all of the kids had a super fun time on the different equipment. They provide a person to lead your party and our guide was fantastic. He made everything fun for the kids and kept things as organized as you can with fifteen 6 and 7 year-olds. It was super easy for the parents, as they handled all of the setup and for the party, including providing plates, plasticware and decorations. They also took all of the presents to the party room and did everything with a smile. We could not be happier. We have spent more than the cost of the birthday package in previous years and got far less for it. The staff was so polite and helpful. It was nice to be able to enjoy the party instead of having to be focused on all the setup. We will definitely book more birthday parties here.
