I was a member here from 2017-2023; I enjoyed every minute of it but had to cancel my membership because of some personal things that came up; I rejoined for a few months in 2024 but the membership fees increased to the point where I couldn't afford it anymore. I hope at some point I can rejoin since the gym is beautiful with friendly staff and 24/7 access.

I joined ALIVE by Raintree gym because it advertises itself as 24/7. My work schedule puts me at the gym around 2:15–2:30am, which seemed perfect, until I showed up my first night and couldn’t even get in or get anyone’s attention to let me into the gym I’m paying for. The next night I learned the doors are locked every night from 2am–3am. That’s not 24/7 access, no matter how you spin it.

There was nothing on the website or during sign-up that mentioned this nightly closure. At first, the night manager was kind enough to wait for me so I could get in, but I later found out that was against company policy. It honestly felt like I was making reservations just to access a gym I already pay for. I stopped going after that, getting to the gym is already hard enough without added logistical hurdles.

For what this gym charges, members should expect transparency and reliability. Instead, it feels misleading, closer to a bait-and-switch than a true 24/7 membership.

On the upside, the gym is nice and clean.....when its open.

Nathanael is the absolute G.O.A.T he deserves at least a 50% raise because his customer service is above and beyond, his customer service is on overtime all the time. Nice clean gym but there are some issues.

1. All of the machines are just odd. It's like they don't workout the muscle group they should. For example you'll often see many people not even use the handles on the chest fly machine because they're way too low to hit your chest.
2. BLARING loud music in the weight machine room. Only in this room. The music is a good volume in the rest of the gym.
3. Employees are always chatting up the cute gym girls when you need them. Every damn day they're like obsessed with the hot gym chicks.
Listen bro I know she's cute but I just spilled water next to the squat rack and I need a mop.
4. 30 day notice to cancel your gym membership. This is just dumb. How can you start my membership immediately but then require 30 days to cancel? What's the notice for?? What purpose does this serve?

Got the pleasure of being a member at Alive for about 3 years. I recently moved away and after trying a plethora of other gyms I have realized how truly special and rare it is to find a gym like Alive. Martin has done a wonderful job with creating a welcoming community, a highly clean and safe facility, and overall quality in every aspect. This is clearly done through his intentional selection of staff and the value each one brings to the overall feel of the gym. With my time there I built such a great community around me; Austin, Sofia, Dustin, Devante, and Faith particularly have always made such a positive impact on my experience there every single day. Definitely wish I could go back and if ever they expand to the Rocky Mountain region rest assured I'll be the first one there.

I have been to a lot of gyms in the past but nothing compares to Alive by Raintree. The equipment is new and atmosphere is inviting. The gym is clean and extremely well kept. There is an employee there named Faith L that takes care of the gym like it is her own home. Every time I walk in she is either cleaning or physically maintaining the equipment. It is these types of self driven employees that are the difference makers between just a good gym and a Great gym!

First off I want to say that I’m not a gym person, so maybe some of this is just a culture I don’t understand. Also as far as I’m concerned this gyms facilities seem really nice, clean, and they aren’t too busy. I liked working out there. My reason for the low review is their marketing tactics, which are at best confusing/careless and at worst predatory. And honestly, them not taking accountability for that is enough for me to not be interested in coming back.

After attending the gym once on a friend’s buddy pass, I beat the same friend to the gym one morning with the intention of using another buddy pass (she pays a membership for these). I remembered seeing on the screens that play ads across the gym that if a member refers you, they get a discount and you get a 7 day pass (picture 1). Because my friend was late I asked about that. They told me this is not something they offer. Which, as it was actively visible across the room, I found confusing. I then asked if I could change and then wait, was told no. Fine, I get that. I took my loss and waited 15 minutes for my friend to arrive. Later I learned they flagged my name in their system for “trying to get in for free” at this event though I waited and went to work out in a perfectly acceptable way. After a week of not going to the gym, their number texted me offering for me to show up “as their guest” (picture 2). I wasn’t really sure about going back but I had been enjoying the workouts fine and a freebie is a freebie so I showed up this morning. After showing them the text, the employee seemed to imply they don’t send those messages/wouldn’t have sent it to me and accused me of taking advantage of the gym because I had been in twice before on buddy passes. That’s when I learned I had already been flagged in their system. Frustrated and feeling a bit gaslight I just bought the pass, I didn’t wake up and drive to the gym at 5am to just turn around and go back home.

I don’t feel entitled to free stuff for no reason and would have been fine paying at any point if there hadn’t been ample evidence telling me “no worries champ” and then giving me demerits for not understanding. TLDR: It isn’t actually that hard to just apologize… or to do what you say… or to not market deceptively at all! 😂 Hope this helps.

I've been going to Raintree Athletic Club, and Alive by Raintree both for many years. I prefer Alive. It's so open and spacious. The Les Mills classes and others are all available on a huge screen on demand with all the equipment right there. The banks of TV's mean you can watch multiple football games at once while you work out. The staff always greats you and they are very helpful and keep an eye on comings and goings. Also the equipment is always available and well maintained. I pay by the month and drop in and out through the year depending on my fitness needs.

I personally love this place; it’s a great place that feels inclusive and as someone who still feels like a beginner it is a great place for anyone at any skill set, also the staff do a great job of cleaning so it feels clean almost every time ya walk in if you are thinking of working out here I’d recommend talking to David (tall guy wears glasses) as he has been extremely helpful to me, my mom and I’m sure many other people, also bonus points for David because he is so friendly, almost every time I visit he greets me as well as other returning visitors by name upon walk in and walk out which I feel although is a nice gesture that is not too common nowadays

Sophie was awesome getting us set up on our week trial and did a fantastic job of making sure we knew where all equipment was. Faith is by far one of the most helpful people I’ve come across. This is my dream gym: comprehensively equipped, clean, roomy, and frequented by serious lifters. The rowing machines are in excellent condition, which is almost unheard of at regular gyms. The staff and fellow members are courteous, and the atmosphere is positive. If I need a class, I go across the street to Raintree, which is a partner gym.

Staff double charged me for a monthly pass ($140) and over-drafted my account. The overdraft fee was $40. When I asked for it to be made right, they agreed to pay the overdraft fee but never did. (It's been 4 weeks). A male staff member also adopted a fake British accent and approached my girlfriend in public, making her extremely uncomfortable. He continuously commented on her appearance. The gym itself is fine but the staff are problematic and incompetent.

For the past few years I’ve been going to this gym and love it more than all the other gyms in the past. Great employees that always seem in a good mood and they keep the place pretty clean. Also the equipment is in good condition too!

Great Gym for everyone; I almost never wait for equipment. The people range from dedicated athletes watching their diet and working the free weights, parents and students getting or staying fit to people like me who make it a time or two every few weeks and never pass up dessert. The staff works well with everyone from serious lifters to people just getting started. I enjoy this gym, almost as much as dessert and a nap.

This gym has so much to offer! The staff is very personal and super friendly. The gym is always clean, organized and has great equipment. I always see a staff member cleaning or walking around scanning for out of place weights or left behind towels. They provide great input on workouts and nutrition! The staff is mostly the main reason i stay!!

The best gym in Fort Collins. It's open 24/7 so there's no excuse to not get your daily sweat in. Not only is it visually stunning and modern, but they posses every piece of equipment you could ever need. The staff have become trusted friends and welcoming faces. The fellow gym goers are super friendly. They provide amazing personal training and the locker rooms are spotless. I find inspiration everytime I enter, that drives me to return.

All of the Alive team members are great. When I walk in, James and the other front desk people greet me by name, and before I get to the desk or pull out my phone they have checked me in. It’s nice to be able to walk right through the door to get right to my workout. Also they are always very willing to help with anything, including letting me barrow a charger to charge my headphones to phone. Lastly, every time I leave they warmly say goodbye. Thank you for everything you guys do! See you around the gym.

Staff is always friendly, welcoming, and always willing to offer help or advice. The facility is incredibly well maintained with a wide variety of equipment. Hours are flexible enough for me and it’s in a great location.
