Lucie Portilla has been training me for several months. I am in my 60s and a lifelong athlete (running, mountain climbing, skiing, etc.). My goal is maintaining function as I age. Lucie provides a varied 2x/week program for me that addresses nearly the entire musculoskeletal system. She is competent and patient. Highly recommended.

Lucie is very knowledgeable and passionate about fitness, while at the same time a professional who understands most people aren't at her level. During my training sessions she pushes me farther than I would go myself which makes me want to come back for more.
Update: 3 months ago I wanted to run a half marathon and couldn't make it over 2 miles without hurting myself. Thanks to training with Lucie I was able to easily run my half and am continuing training for another run.

I’ve been seeing Lucie for a couple months now and she’s been such a great trainer! I didn’t have much experience in working out before meeting her, and she’s already taught me so much about diet, different techniques, proper form, and recovery. She is very knowledgeable about how the body works and what is required to gain muscle or lose weight. She’s also very motivating and supportive! Always pushing me harder in our workouts and showing me I can do things that I wouldn’t have thought I could do before. I feel way more confident going to the gym on my own since I started working with her.

I started seeing Lucie in the summer of 2021. I was nervous because I had never seen Personal Trainer and I am not fit and I knew I would be seeing someone who is super fit and I was scared of judgment. I could not have been more wrong.
Lucie is really nice and she can be firm when she needs to be. My favorite thing about choosing her as my trainer is that she has a lot of focus on the safety of doing certain moves, because I was really weak when I started and I had a lot of pain in my lower back, I haven’t had a single injury while training. I know if I were doing this alone I would’ve hurt myself by now!
If you’re wondering if you should try training with her I would say do it! I am so happy with how my life has improved by being physically active and it really helped to have someone to motivate me and keep me moving.

Lucie is AMAZING. I dont say that lightly. She is great motivator but more importantly, she listens and adapts which is super important if you think you already know your strength/endurance. She is not afraid to learn more in order to adapt, which means your workout is NOT the same as everyone else's. I could probably talk to her about anything, so she's way way more than just a "trainer". If you're located in the area, she's the best option you've got!

I used Lucie for my 14 yr old, she was very friendly and professional. She will work around your schedule and will come to your place if needed. My daughter is not a big fun of exercising, but loved how Lucie makes it fun. I definitely recommend her.
