I visited the Junction Anytime Fitness while I was in town, and I was so impressed! I usually attend a different location, but this gym stood out for how warm and welcoming it felt. The owner, Bryan, was especially friendly and made me feel right at home. I’ll definitely be recommending this location to others and look forward to returning whenever I’m in the area.

Absolute best gym I have been to in Junction.
Been going here for about a year now and it is the first gym where I can legitimately say I love being there. Staff is amazing, equipment is kept up, and 99% of the other members respect the gym as if it is their second home.
Sure other gyms may have a pool and other crap like that, but none of the others generate the sense of community that this one does.
10/10 will lift again.

I spent all day in the valley comparing gyms. After wasting the gas going to this gym I found locked doors, people inside and no one at the desk to let me in.They clearly have enough members. Went 4/16/25 @ 6pm. All of their competitors welcomed me into at least check it out. I won't waste the gas for a second shot. Talk about a truly ridiculous reason to not grow a business. You gotta let people in the door!

My partner and I were visiting from Utah and wanted to get in a quick workout. We came into Anytime and were immediately greeted and allowed a complementary day to workout. Brian i believe is the owner answered all our questions and let us know when we are in town we can come back for $5 a day. The facility is very clean, stocked with everything you need to get a great workout. Definitely a place to check out if you're serious about fitness!

As soon as I walked into the office at anytime fitness I was greeted by a really friendly employee. He made me feel right at home as we discussed prices and plans (which were cheaper than the other gyms I’d been to). I was immediately sold and 4 months later I couldn’t be happier with the gym. It’s always clean, staff is courteous and the members are respectful. I’ve tried the bigger gyms, and bigger isn’t always better. A lot of machines being taken up by groups of teenagers more worried about their phones than getting their sets done and allowing the next person to get a turn. Not at Anytime, it has a good amount of equipment and the members do their sets and move on. I found my gym. I’m signed up for a year but I will be extending it. Being open 24 hours is amazing. Best gym in the valley in my opinion

I showed up at 1:15 for my 1:30 appointment to tour their facility. I left at 1:40 after several phone calls and attempts to ring the bell. No staff showed up for my appointment. I rode a bus across town to get there and now have to wait in the sun for almost an hour for the bus home. Absolutely unprofessional and atrocious service.

I have been to many Anytime Fitness gyms in 10 different states across the U.S. due to the nature of my work schedule. This gym in Grand Junction is one of best I have been! I was so excited to join, unfortunately after an error on management part, no assistance to correct it and no accountability, I pay for something I don't use (I signed a contract and they have on multiple times advised i could buy out of my contract for the remainder of it). I was really wanting to support my OM community but I have taken my actual self to another gym that is more welcoming. Wish nothing but the best for them, just not the type of place I want to business with. For follow up, the error was on putting my card number to another members account which was verified by the third party accounting department they use.

I am camping in Grand Junction and needed a place to work out. I was an Anytime fitness member for many years but when my office moved, I had to cancel my membership and find another gym in Texas. I have used Anytime Fitness gyms all over the US and this is by far the best equipped and cleanest I have ever used. The owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about weightlifting and overall fitness. You can tell he is passionate about the fitness lifestyle. If I lived in this area, I would love to call this my home gym. I can't recommend this gym enough.

If I could give no stars I would.

Visiting from out of town for a couple days the week of 29 May 2023. Called ahead to see if they offers guest passes. A woman said if I stopped in between 10 AM - 4 PM I could get a guest past. She did not say my workout would need to be done during these hours.

About 15 minutes later I arrive at the gym. The guy who answers the bell is immediately defensive when I asked about the guest pass.

He told me I could workout only during 10AM to 4 PM only. Well it was already after 3PM so not really time for me to get a workout in. He tells me they have rules and normally do not allow people from out of town to work out in the gym. Said they have been having problems with “people”.

I mentioned to him I worked out at the Anytime Fitness in Myrtle Beach while I was there a couple months ago - and they let me provide a deposit for the key. I offered him a $30 deposit for the key which he could keep if I failed to return the key. He told me he would not give me a key if I gave him $100. He does not know me and I am not from in town. I was speaking to him calmly, and he gets all riled up. Wannabe tough guy I guess.

I told him to have a nice day and left. Bad attitude from this guy from when he opened the door. I am a retired USMC Lt Col. and am true to my word. I certainly understand about rules. Perhaps learn to treat people with respect gym guy. Maybe you are the reason gym was EMPTY.

UPDATE: I did find another gym (Mesa Fitness Clifton) that has normal gym rules. Note to anyone reading this, go to Mesa Fitness Clifton if you want to be treated with respect and kindness. This Anytime Fitness has the rudest owner I have ever dealt with in any business! I think the owners need to go to people skill classes. Learn how to handle your anger before dealing with the public.

They are a true gym and not a health club or fitness center. It’s a place for indoor workouts with cardio machines, free weights, and fitness equipment. In my experience, gyms are more about promoting physical fitness for everyone. They are places where people of all skill levels can come and feel comfortable. They are locally owned, and the owners are great. They interact with people on a personal level. They always welcome feedback to improve their services. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful through anything you need help with; and the fact that you can go at 1:00AM if you want is a blessing, some people have social anxiety and don’t want to be in a packed gym, they also have a fully stocked refreshments vending machine and snacks vending machine. Have never had a single problem at this gym and everything is kept very clean, overall if you want to improve your quality of time at the gym go here! Touring this gym was the most rude and inappropriate conversation I have ever had with someone that claims to be in business. I went in very clear with a desire to check out the gym. I am torn... I WAS torn between this gym and another , so I wanted to check this one out first since its closer to where I live. I sent an email to try out the gym. Lady emailed me back offering me a trial period for 7 days but I needed to come in between 10-6 m-f to do so. I replied to her email explaining that I work 10-6, could I pop in and tour at 615? she said no problem and some man would be there for me when I arrived. I was clear about that as well I needed to nail down a membership by this friday. I go, and there is no one there, then a strange dude starts calling out random lady names, so I paid no attention then asked if I was his appointment. I assumed so. He gave me a quick tour of the facility and I have to admit, everything was in great state. things were clean, wasnt too crowded, things looked functional. I was excited. I asked if I could try out the gym, (again, the whole purpose of the emails before my visit). He explained it was too costly for him to give me a key fob for after hours workouts. I offered to pay for the fob and come back during business hours (10-6) to buy a membership on friday. He started to get agitated with me, and said he did not know, and we needed to hurry up and just get a contract together right now. Further telling me, "I dont just come to the gym to give tours, I was told you were a sign up. I dont have time for this". I said, okay and asked about monthly/no contract agreements. He got highly aggressive and screamed that I would be throwing my money away and it was dumb. First of all, ITS MY MONEY, I spend it as I please, i cant even believe I have to say that. Also, no contracts please, why i asked for that. Because I admitted that I am moving at the end of the year and have not secured a city yet so I was unsure where I would go just yet, and could not commit to a contract. He began yelling that I was wasting his time and that no matter where I'd move, there would be a gym. After the screaming and the super hostile tone, I decided I was unsafe to stay there, this guy clearly had no business being the secure a membership guy. I left the premises to drive 20 minutes farther away from my home and at my second choice, i joined THAT gym. Such a shame too, because this one was clean, not too crowded and close to home. I hope this owner was just having a bad day and not always so horrible to new money...

I have been an exerciser at this facility for over 6 years, I have seen several managers and owners. The current owners are the best I have ever seen. These individuals have created a considerate environment for everyone. The small gym atmosphere allows patrons to familiarize themselves to each other, and to the equipment. Everything expected from a gym plus clean and friendly. I was able to set up my membership and speak with the new owner. I am impressed by the cleanliness and thank a squat rack.

No gym is perfect, but for the value and location, this place gets that 5th star.

I do a lot of traveling with my (work from anywhere) business, & I must say that this location was bright & very clean! It also had the NICEST women's shower room I have had the pleasure of using recently! 😎

This place is absolutely awesome! I highly recommend this gym for the beginners and experts. Not only do they have clean, new, and high quality equipment but they just got a punching bag in and it’s awesome!!!

I met the owner Brian up on the mesa. He was super friendly, told me about the gym, and invited me down with no pressure. He even gave me his personal phone number in case I had questions. Once I finally got around to it 6 months later, I was glad I came here. It's clean, has a personal touch, the contract was crystal clear, and I appreciated the passion they have for the place

I’ve worked out at gyms big and small all over the country and this gym has all that you need. If you are serious about fitness and not showing off I don’t know why you’d go elsewhere. The new owners are great, and do an excellent job cleaning, and maintaining equipment, and it’s 24 hours. Couldn’t be happier to have found this place and get away from the larger gyms down the road.

Clean and easy to use. My first time there after using another Anytime Fitness was good. The only improvement I'd recommend after one time is to add a "landmine" base for use with an olympic bar.

The 4 stars are because the floor plan is rather small and I am guessing if you visit at peak times it would be difficult to access the equipment in a timely fashion. There is only one free weight squat rack for example. It’s clean, well stocked and nice shower. It seems to have improved since my last visit. Keep up the good work Grand Junction Anytime Fitness!

Extremely worn out. Waterfront has been broken since we visited one time two and a half years ago. Air conditioning appeared not to be working. This place needs a complete overhaul.

The man who runs the place is very well mannered and was a lot of help getting me signed up. After a couple of weeks I decided this gym is not for me only because the equipment type is limited and to be honest, I really don't like that there's only one ladies bathroom with one stall and one shower. I can only go during the night because during the day it is very busy and I'm not able to utilize the shower etc because no one would be able to even use the restroom. This is really the only reason I decided to not go with this gym. It did however feel very safe and secure. I like the 24-hour access and the key card. And the price is affordable.

Must be an exclusive club. Called for inquiry, No answer and no room for Voicemail. Rang the doorbell, "Non-members welcome ring doorbell" No one came to the door. Even asked online and was given a message saying someone would be in contact shortly, that was 2 days ago... Dont want my business fine, Planet fitness is better anyway.
