Logistics:
The gym has plenty of parking, and there are cubbies available for shoes, jackets, and bags during your workout. The layout flows nicely, and it’s clear the space is cleaned regularly (this really stood out to me!)
Trainers & Workout:
I was warmly welcomed by Colleen, who explained what to expect for the group class. Edward led my session. WOW!! Another major standout! He crafted and coached a 12-person circuit-based workout that targeted specific muscle groups. I had SO much fun, and I am so beautifully sore.
I have a few nagging musculoskeletal injuries, so I’m always cautious about lifting safely. Edward provided individualized attention to everyone in the class. He took the time to demonstrate any exercise I wasn’t sure about and consistently checked form to keep us all safe. Because of that, I felt comfortable pushing myself and got the most out of the workout without aggravating my injuries. Thanks Eddie!
P.S. I left my necklace behind, and Colleen followed up to let me know. So so kind; thank you again!
Atmosphere:
It’s obvious the members truly love this gym. Everyone is encouraging and hardworking, and many people hang out on the turf after class to cool down and enjoy the stunning view. Edward and Colleen have clearly put in the effort to create a fun, inviting environment that delivers real results. Bonus: the airflow is great (not stuffy at all) which is a huge plus for me.
Overall:
I’d recommend Big Dawg Fitness to anyone in the area! You’ll enjoy yourself, you’ll feel safe and comfortable, and you’ll get a seriously good workout.

Most friendly and awesome-est gym environment I truly believe this might be the best gym in the state of Colorado and has some of the best trainers in the world. Edward is funny and is great with form, Alex is just a great all around trainer that will help you with anything, and Kat will torture you with pulses on high weight and smile while doing it. 12/10 would recommend to anyone.

I can’t recommend personal training at Big Dawg Fitness enough. I’ve always been consistent about going to the gym, but working with Edward has completely changed the game for me. On my own, I could never quite replicate the intensity, structure, and focus I get during a personal training session. Since starting, my progress has been obvious—I’m stronger, more flexible, and finally seeing the results I’ve been striving toward for years. Big Dawg Fitness deserves TEN stars. Edward set up the best workout I’ve ever had! It was efficient, professional, and effective. I’ve taken a lot of weight training classes, but this one was different. He set up the workout in quadrants, and we had partners. That way, we didn’t have to wait for someone to move off our preferred station. The gym was very clean, and it had a roll-up door allowing a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains. I love that! Sadly for me, I live in California! I'll be back.

i did a trial week at the encouragement of my friend. at first i was nervous because i had never lifted before, let alone with a personal trainer. but edward (the trainer who’s classes i signed up for) was really supportive and offered alternative options when i was struggling with the standard bars and equipment. everyone at the gym is very kind, and i felt really motivated and had fun. great vibes all around. anytime i had a question or needed to go over my form, edward would be attentive and encouraging. big dawg is a great gym because it caters to people of all levels of experience, and the classes are a great way to stay fit and healthy. big shoutout to edward and colleen for such a great experience!!

I’ve been trying out a few gyms, and Big Dawg has been the most welcoming by far! The atmosphere is super friendly and fun, and everyone made me feel comfortable from the start. I’ve been doing several of the group classes for the past week and they’ve all been great. Edward and Mase are fantastic trainers. Very friendly and patient, they give plenty of individual attention and make sure you’re using proper technique. The gym is super clean and has all new equipment. Glad I found this place.

I thought I didn’t like group training until I tried Big Dawg Fitness! So glad I decided to try out Big Dawg! The instructors are awesome—they really help you with form and make sure you’re working toward your own goals. My favorite class is Buns and Guns, but honestly, every class I’ve taken has been great.

The culture of this gym is unmatched - Edward and Colleen have fostered a true community. Kickboxing with Mase is physically and mentally challenging, but also incredibly fun. Without a doubt, this is the best personal training gym in Colorado. I’ve been training with Edward for years and I’m in the best shape of my life at 48 years old. Edward motivates me to stay consistent and is always supportive, even when I need a break. I recently added one on one training with Fran as well, and the combination of the two is killer.
The group classes are fun as well. Edward is meticulous about keeping the gym clean and everything is brand new, including unique equipment I haven’t seen at any other gyms.

Great gym! Trainers are very good. Small classes you so you get a lot of technique cues. I really like the barbell technique class. Highly focused on the technique of the lift. I’ve known Eddie for a few years now. And when I first met him, I was lost. I was the heaviest I’ve ever been and I was SO nervous to get back into the gym. His bubbly personality, heartfelt smile and friendly encouragement kept me showing up everyday. He held me accountable. Every session was tailored and intentional. Now two years later I feel stronger, more energized and excited to work out.
What I appreciate most about Eddie, is that he knew when to push and when I needed grace. He celebrated every win with me, no matter how small, and never let me forget how far I’ve come.

6 months into my workout. 3-4 months of personal one on one training, and the last 2-3 months of Strength, Kickboxing, and Balance and Stretching classes. Still amazing!
I was concerned that the drop in consistent workouts twice a week, with Edward’s personal guidance and “encouragement”, would cause my progress to slip. But Edward was there cheering me on reminding me that staying focused and active, and maintaining proper nutrition, is good enough.
I’ve adjusted to these new classes and am still seeing improvement. I owe that to Edward’s approach to training. Encouraging words, quick to adapt to your needs, and always a friendly smile.
