If you are looking for a studio that teaches traditional Bikram yoga, in a comfortable and not crowded setting, this is your place!
I have heard about Mile High Bikram for quite a while, but it was not until a couple of weeks ago that I finally made it there. I was lucky enough to be greeted and taught by Lucy, the new owner. She was very patient with all my questions and taught a class with clear instructions and at a pace that all the students could follow.
The facilities are clean and modern; there are lockers and showers, and you can rent towels. I intend to go back for more sessions and thus, support this local, woman-owned business.

Great studio, great vibe. The teacher was very friendly and knowledgeable. I haven’t been to a Bikram class since I moved to Colorado from New York and felt like the class I took was on par with the classes I used to take in NYC. If you want a traditional Bikram class this is your place 🙌🏻

I love this place! I have been coming consistently for over 8 years as a cornerstone of my routine for a healthful mind and body.
Unlike most yoga classes, holding the posture has developed my focus, determination and awareness… my main objective for choosing yoga. I have never been a fan of “workout yoga,” where you bounce around with weights in your hand, therefore, I selected Bikram yoga.
I’m lucky to have a studio that adheres to the proper application of Bikram, and they do an incredible of all the details making each class easy to return to because I know what to expect because they deliver from class to class, instructor to instructor.
What this practice has done for my mental stability and physical body is incredible. I started after having 5 kids, since then I’ve lost all of my baby weight (30lbs) and my skin and flexibility have been withstanding the test of time. I can see myself doing this for a lifetime.

First time back to this studio in at least five years. Studio is in great shape maybe even a little cleaner and lighter than in my memory. I was the only student for my class. I told the instructor Lucy about my bum knees. She pushed me through out the class but didn’t push me over the edge. She recognized and advised needed adjustments, as I was pretty obviously very rusty. Great first session back. Will return and would recommend.

Great studio, I come every chance I get when I’m in Denver for work or visiting friends. All the teachers are knowledgeable and down to earth. Always have a great atmosphere and attitude!

I’ve been attending this studio fairly regularly for about three years, spanning both the previous and current management. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from several different instructors, many of whom were traveling teachers. I really enjoy the studio environment and appreciate practicing alongside the other students. The instructors have consistently been exceptional.

New management is terrible. They sold me an unlimited pass and then canceled all the 9am weekday classes for 3 weeks without any notice. I suggested a credit for the following month might be appropriate and she was unbelievably rude and dishonest. Save yourself the trouble.

Is this place a joke? I have just signed up for their 20 days deal and scheduled for the morning class on Dec 7th. I showed up at the door this morning in the cold and no one was there. Except another participant waiting. The gentleman who was waiting at the door have told me that there has not been any classes for whole week as he was a year long member. This was a totally disappointment!!! ): My frozen fingers still hurts as I am writing this.

The management of this studio is shameful. I had been a member for years despite awful teachers and a dirty studio. I suffered an injury and the manager of this studio would not even give me a month extension to use my pass. I encourage people to spend their hard earned money at another studio in Denver.

Great experience. Very knowledgeable teacher and comfortable environment for a challenging practice. Looking forward to many more classes here.
Adding to this after going to more classes with a verity of instructors: I recommend this studio to everyone I know! It’s the absolute best yoga studio I’ve found in Denver after 16 years and I’m so thankful to be a part of this community!!!

This is a great little hot yoga studio, with well-qualified instructors. If you are not familiar with traditional Bikram yoga, it is HOT! The whole point is to sweat, get warm, and be uber-flexible. Teachers walk you through 26 postures, guiding you to your own personal best expression. Be prepared by hydrating yourself throughout the 24hours before you plan to be in class... it's 80º and 80% humidity in there baby!
Expensive, but if you get the monthly and go a few times a week, you'll save a little and start to see why it's worth every penny.

Wanted to try this out as yoga helped me out a lot before my stroke and wanted to get back into it but seeing the lack of different bodies (and colors) in the pictures made me feel unwelcome, what really drove the unwelcoming atmosphere home was the arbitrary, inflexible and a belittling “rules”, meaning no accommodations for people with disabilities or beginners that may not be able to perform certain poses, also nothing but water allowed? What’s it to you if I bring a sports drink or “coconut waters” to the studio in my own water bottle, do you get to take sips from my bottle to decide if it’s allowed? No leaving for emergencies prior to getting permission from a teacher? they claim to be a “college” but have high-school rules. This studio is in a sketch part of town to be acting like the Cherry Creek studios. What an unpleasant business.

The new team of instructors at Bikram Yoga Mile High is delivering a top Bikram class experience in a clean, spacious space. They stick to the dialogue, but also read the room and give effective adjustment cues. The heat and humidity has been spot on every time. I’m so grateful to be practicing at Bikram Yoga Mile High! This style of yoga has changed my life!

I was new to Colorado. Has taken a couple years off my practice and wasn’t yet used to the altitude with my asthma. I told the instructor all of this before signing up and she still treated me like I shouldn’t have even bother attending the class. Like yoga is supposed to be uplifting and yet you made me so uncomfortable I never came back even after paying for a full subscription because your attitude was so rude. I would never go back and never recommend this place to anyone.

I like this studio and the management. I like that they practice strict "Bikram" style yoga - it is a very well developed regime that works good if you follow the protocol. It can heal your body in profound ways. No exercise I have done has been more healing for my body than this yoga. It can heal injuries and lead to profound and otherwise out of reach changes to your spine and physical/ mental health. I think the people who wrote the bad reviews are too sensitive and negative.

If ZERO STARS was available, this place would qualify. Do Not Trust.
Signed up for an individual class with an instructor. A different instructor appeared and told me that I "had to take the class with him". Would not allow me to leave with a refund. Total BS. This Bully said he was an owner. I wonder what part of Yoga teaches one to lie? Do not recommend.

I've been coming to this studio for years, Samantha and her instructors are excellent. This yoga studio provides an amazing and traditional practice of the 26 postures. The studio is consistently hot and humid, and there is no better feeling than after working hard for 90 minutes in that room. If you love hot yoga and are up for the challenge, I highly recommend it!

I live close to Bikram Mile High and have for years. I finally got to a place in my life where I could take this practice seriously. Since attending daily, I have lost weight, my ADHD symptoms have decreased, and the right side of my body is becoming as strong as the left side of my body - I didn't even realize I was weaker when I started, but it definitely was. I highly recommend seeing Sammantha, Lisa, and Geordie (the yoga mascot dog who also does yoga). Brilliant studio - special place in my heart!

This is a great studio to practice Bikram yoga. I've taken classes with many of the instructors. Samantha does a wonderful job with the studio end it is a welcoming place for first timers. Try it out. It's an independent small business that brings an important practice to the community. You'll never know what is possible until you give this a good try.

This is the only legitimate Bikram yoga studio in Denver. I've done Bikram for over 10 years, practicing in New York, Chicago, Denver, and Boulder, and this to me is the only studio in the Denver area that provides an authentic Bikram experience. I've read the negative reviews on here, and I very strongly disagree with the points being made. The instruction here is top notch, and unlike other studios in town, the room is usually hot enough to gain the true benefits of Bikram yoga (I've practiced in much, much hotter studios, but this is the hottest in Denver). I completely disagree with anyone who says that this is a "boot camp" or whatever; they obviously haven't been to the same studios I've been to. I'd say this place offers a nice balance between the studios whose objective it is to make you regret ever having been born and those who cater to the masses who don't understand or appreciate the benefits of being challenged in your yoga practice. I find the instruction to be on point without being overbearing or overly critical (maybe some people are just too sensitive). If you're a Bikram yogi who is new to Denver, don't waste your time trying the other studios in town; you won't be satisfied. My only critique is that I wish sometimes, just like once in a while, they'd have a class where they'd really crank the heat, even if it meant I'd have to sit out a few postures. Sometimes I feel like I get the most benefit from those types of classes.

I’ve been practicing hot yoga for over a decade, and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a yoga studio in my entire life. Samantha, the owner, is unkind and haughty—and does not understand the fundamental philosophical concepts behind yoga. She's more interested in adhering to arbitrary rules and tyrannizing her students than she is about guiding us through this amazing practice. Avoid this studio.

I paid for a year membership and found out I was pregnant. I tried to call and either cancel or start the membership after delivery. No one would call me back. No one responded to emails. They just took the money in never responded. Seems antithetical to what Yoga is all about.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but I have been coming around this place long enough to know that the studio owner has a solid education and background and most definitely understands the philosophical concepts of yoga. That said, she doesn't treat anyone with kid gloves or waste energy being inauthentic for anyone else's comfort. Bikram is an inherently structured and disciplined style of yoga and anyone who practices is expected to respect that, period. Finally, this is a small business (key word, business) and as such there are boundaries in place with regard to things that are provided complimentary and those which are not. Mat spray is not included.

The owner is intolerable! She has pictures of herself posted everywhere making a place that is supposed to be full of zen ruined by her narcissism! Not only that, but she couldn't even lend my step mother some mat cleaner. Horrible service!

As I travel thro America I visit Bikram studios and the stories I have. Mile High Yoga was a perfect experience. The studio was clean, professional and packed with students. Please for everyone who's reading this, don't let the crowded studio scare you away. I personally applaud the close knit quarters, eventually you will too. The more people the more energy.
Lori (instructor) taught the class on 1/8/17 and her style was nearly perfect. I have seen the good, bad and ugly of Bikram and I can stand proud giving this studio a solid 🅰️❗️
The only reason I didn't give it an 🅰️➕ is because of the other students. This is yoga so being a little friendly goes along way. I'm from the Northeast and Denver was worse but I will be back.
Your mile high yoga sticker made its way to free advertising for all to see... congrats on a well organized studio!

I had the worse experience at this place. The instructor was extremely rude to me in front of the whole class. I have to have my feet separate for personal issues, she told me that I couldn't do that and that I had to follow the Bykram Style, only for having my feet separate! . Isn't Yoga supposed to help people with their own issues? Are the instructors supposed to help you with any concerns regarding your health?? Instead, all I got was arrogant attitude from the owner and the instructorl. I asked for my money back, of course she said "No you can't". I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

I noticed one of the previous reviews here mentioned carpeted floor in the yoga room. The carpet was removed more than a year ago. I've been practicing yoga at Bikram Yoga Mile High for more than 2 years now. This is a terrific studio with the very best instructors I've found anywhere. It's an unusual style of yoga that has truly amazing beneficial qualities. It'll make you healthy in no time flat. It works!
